Beautiful blouse with one-piece sleeves: pattern.

Many women sew different clothes themselves. This helps to make your wardrobe interesting and create an individual image.

We will tell you how to sew a blouse for yourself or your little daughter with your own hands.

According to the finished pattern

To please yourself with a new thing, you need to take care of the paper blank. You can find it on the website or in a fashion magazine. In addition, it is necessary to prepare 2 m of canvas (with a width of 1.5 m).

Algorithm of actions

  • Fold the fabric into 2 halves, right side inward.
  • Transfer the pattern to the material.
  • Cut out the blouse details.
  • Baste parts of the product, try them on, then machine stitch.
  • If there is no collar, two strips of material must be prepared to process the neck. They are cut obliquely, width - 2.5 cm.
  • Sew on the sleeves, adding cuffs.

If you want to sew an off-shoulder blouse, you need to mark a new top cut line on the pattern. After removing excess fabric on the back and front, you need to sew a sleeve into the armhole, and cut off the upper part at the same level.

Advice. Insert an elastic band or a beautiful lace into the hem. With their help, an off-shoulder blouse will hold securely.

How to sew a sweater without a pattern

A loose, light sleeveless blouse can be quickly made without any paper blank. For sewing you only need 2 parts. This style will help hide flaws and highlight the advantages of the figure.

Instead of a drawing, you can use a simple blouse or T-shirt that fits.

Advice: If a T-shirt was chosen as the basis, it is necessary to increase the neckline on the chest.

  • The samples are laid out on the wrong side of the selected fabric.
  • The contours of the clothing are outlined with chalk. Add 2 cm to allowances.
  • The details are cut out, the front and back are stitched together.
  • The armholes, neckline and hemline are processed.
  • All that remains is to decorate the new thing with embroidery, inserts, and you can add it with a thin strap.

How to sew a blouse with an off shoulder

To hide excessive fullness of the arms, women often choose options with a lowered shoulder, which acts as a short sleeve.

We'll tell you how to make such a sleeveless vest yourself.

First you need to choose the right fabric. It is not recommended to use smooth material with a complex pattern. This can complicate the cutting and sewing process.

For the pattern we use a sleeveless model. You can take suitable clothes, as mentioned above.

We lengthen the shoulder line on the back and front. We also extend the lateral straight line. When they are connected, we get a new arm length.

We outline the contours of the sweater on the canvas with chalk. Cut out the details.
We prepare facings for processing the armhole and neckline. Their width should be 3 cm.

With little experience, put aside complex models. Gain mastery on simple styles. For example, try making a wraparound sweater. She is very popular with many girls.

This model is comfortable, beautiful, and easy to sew. Its peculiarity is that the 2 halves of the front overlap each other.

Reference. The smell makes the waist narrower and gives the woman an attractive appearance.

Two belts with a width of 5 cm are sewn to these parts along the waist line, then they are easily tied. This makes the blouse look more interesting than a simple blouse worn over the head. At the same time, you won’t have to fuss with buttonholes, which often become a problem for a novice dressmaker.

The next task is to correctly determine the clothing sizes.

  • Chest circumference is measured by the protruding points of the chest and forearm.
  • The length of the product begins to be counted from the cervical vertebra, the sleeve from the shoulder.

When cutting, you must remember that you need to leave allowances at the bottom of the model up to 4 cm. You can leave 1 cm for the neckline, 1.5 cm for the seams.

  • It is better to do the cutting on a spacious table.
  • When laying out the fabric, you need to make sure that there are no distortions on the canvas. This determines how the blouse turns out.
  • The quality is also affected by the correct choice of needle for machine stitching. Its thickness depends on the material. Carefully read the recommendations for working with different fabrics. They are contained in the instructions for the device.

Sweatshirts made of different materials

Features of working with silk and chiffon

To sew an elegant outfit, you can take light chiffon or silk. The fabric will make a fashionable, beautiful blouse. These materials are delicate, but not easy to work with. The cuts quickly crumble, the parts slip when stitching.
Only experienced craftswomen can handle canvases that require careful attention.

How to sew a sweater from knitwear

An elegant model can be made from a knitted circle. This shape allows you to get a loose blouse.

The neckline is outlined in the middle of the circle, the front and back are stitched from below. The edges of the jacket can be trimmed with bright ribbon.

Advice. It's easy to make a ruffle by cutting a square out of knitwear.

When sewing a blouse, it is necessary to take into account the characteristics of this material. Because of its elasticity, it not only falls into beautiful folds, but also stretches.

When sewing, you should not make complex elements. It is recommended to choose a simple cut.

How to sew a jacket from a sweater

A cozy, warm blouse can be made from an old oversized sweater that you have stopped using.

To do this, you need to rip the sweater, smooth the fabric, and cut out the necessary details. If you plan to sew a complex model (with a yoke, peplum, etc.), you will need to prepare the necessary pattern in advance.

Stages of work

  • Mark the dimensions of the new clothes on the parts of the sweater.
  • Cut out parts taking into account allowances.
  • Sew shoulder and side seams.
  • Process the neck and bottom.

The difficult part of this option is the cuffs. They are cut in the form of strips. The width of each blank should be 2 times the final cuff. Don't forget to leave seam allowances. If you plan to make a part with a button or snaps, you should add 4 cm for the fastener.

How to sew a children's blouse

Children's sweaters and blouses are best made from natural fabric (cotton, flannel) or light knitwear. Such fabrics are an excellent solution for children's clothing.

The pattern of the model you like needs to be printed and cut out. After this, you should transfer the details to the material.

The work is performed in the same way as when sewing products for adults. The front and back are sewn along the side seams; they should be ironed onto the back. Leave 1.5 cm for allowances.
You can apply different applications to the finished item.

What is your assessment of this material?

In this detailed master class, I will talk about how to sew a women's knitted blouse from footer.

For work I needed:

  • footer with elastane “Pandas” -1 m;
  • ribana with black elastane (for cuffs and elastic neck);
  • scissors;
  • black threads (no thicker than 50);
  • pins;
  • machine;
  • parchment for patterns;

The pattern for a women's blouse is taken from the Ottobre publication (No. 2/2015, model 19). This is a world-famous children's fashion magazine, which from time to time prepares issues with women's patterns. For our size 42, the pattern of the smallest size from this magazine was suitable. When choosing the size of a pattern, it is better to focus not on magazine measurements, but on fitting data.

Manufacturing:

1. Cut out the pattern pieces from parchment and attach them to the fabric. From the footer, cut out the sleeves, front, and back of the product. And from ribbed knit with elastane - two cuffs and a piping for the neck.

2. Immediately prepare all the parts from the ribana. Fold the neckline and cuffs inside out twice horizontally (across the “grooves” of the knitwear) and iron well. Then unfold these parts, fold them in half vertically (along the “grooves”) and inside out. Secure the edges of the parts with tailor's pins and sew with a knitted seam on a machine. The knitted seam looks like small oblique teeth: it prevents the fabric from stretching and, at the same time, treats it well so that it does not unravel. Next, fold the cuffs and neckline along the ironed fold.

3. Sew the shoulder seams. To do this, fold the back and front of the product together so that the “faces” of the canvases are inside, and fasten them with pins. Then sew the shoulders with a knit stitch and finish the seam allowance with a zigzag.

4. Fold the shoulder seam allowances over to the front fabric side and straight stitch at 3mm intervals parallel to the shoulder seam.

5. The shoulder seams are ready, which means you can already attach the neckline to the product. Take the neck folded in half, unfold it with the fold down and fasten it evenly along the entire edge of the neck of the blouse, slightly stretching the neck (it is cut from elastic ribbed fabric, so it is slightly narrower than the neckline).

6. Machine stitch the neckline using a knit stitch, and then work the fabric allowances with a zigzag. At the same time, guide the left edge of the foot clearly along the seam line so that it turns out neatly and evenly.

7. Turn the seam allowances down (towards the main fabric of the blouse) and stitch with a straight seam, running the foot parallel to the neck seam. When seaming, sew along the front side to ensure an even seam.

8. Sew the sleeves to the blouse. Attach the sleeves to the armholes (right sides), secure them with tailor pins and sew them with a knitted seam. After this, finish the seam allowances with a zigzag stitch and topstitch the seam allowances, folding them towards the main fabric (not towards the cuffs).

9. Now you need to make the two longest seams in the product - the side ones. Turn the blouse inside out and pin the sleeves and side edges of the sweater. Using a knit stitch and then a zigzag stitch, sew lines from the cuffs through the armpits to the bottom edge of the sides.

10. Sew the cuffs to the sleeves in the same way as you sewed the neckline: first, pin these parts together, slightly stretching the rib, then sew with a knitted seam and a zigzag. A regular cotton footer can be stitched, but a footer with elastane is better left without this seam (due to stitching, the fabric at the bottom of the sleeves risks stretching and looking sloppy).

11. There is very little left - fold the bottom of the blouse twice and sew it with a straight seam at intervals of 3 mm.

Now you know how to sew a knitted blouse from footer! This model is characterized by a wide neck and dropped shoulders, so it will go well with a delicate-colored blouse worn under a blouse. If you wish, you can modify the product - for example, sew a ribbed waist belt to the bottom (the length of such a belt should be equal to 2/3 of the length of the bottom of the product). In this case, the blouse will turn into a sweatshirt, pulled together at the hips!

Good day, my lovely needlewomen! Do you dream of sewing a summer blouse yourself, but are not sure that you can cope with such a complex and specific task? So, how to sew a blouse with your own hands without a pattern and then look 100% perfect? The easiest option is to sew a blouse without a pattern, because some models allow you to do so accordingly.

Features of cutting chiffon

Usually summer blouses are made of chiffon. This lightweight and high-quality material is suitable for creating a blouse.

The most important thing is to take into account the principles of working with chiffon:

  1. It is advisable to cut in one layer. If you try to fold a light, slippery fabric, one part may shift and the item will not work.
  2. Set the machine to work with thin and light material. Use a sharp and thin needle.
  3. Initially, stitch a small part of the material. Check the quality of the seam being created.
  4. The stitch length should not exceed 2 millimeters.
  5. Choose simple models. Interesting models available for beginners. If you do not have experience, it is not advisable to strive to create a special chiffon blouse. Remember: you can sew a simple pattern and look special in it.

Correctly cutting chiffon is one of the main tasks for beginning needlewomen.

How to sew a blouse with dolman sleeves

This blouse is sewn quickly and easily, but it is considered fashionable. So, how to sew a blouse with bat sleeves:

  1. Initially, you will need 2 points of material, the width of which will be 1.5 meters. Be sure to measure your parameters, because you must know what to focus on. Even if you work with the simplest pattern, taking into account proportions becomes mandatory.
  2. At the first stage, you fold the chiffon “face” inward, and then in half again.
  3. Make a pattern on the fabric itself. Measure 2.5 centimeters from the fold downwards, and 9 centimeters to the side. This will be the neck.
  4. From the neckline you should start making a sleeve, and you need to move in a horizontal direction. Then step back 2.5 centimeters, draw a line from the end of the sleeve to the very top of the blouse.
  5. Divide the waist and hip circumference into 4 parts. Fold the material along special lines.
  6. Now connect the bottom part and the edge of the sleeve with a curved line. Try to cut along the contour.
The front and back of the neck should be different. So, in front the neck will be made with a large recess.
  7. Now feel free to sew the parts together. To trim the neckline on the bias, cut 2 strips of fabric, the width of which will be about 2.5 centimeters. These strips of fabric should follow the contour of the neckline.
  8. Sew the strips to the neckline. Fold the bottom of the blouse and sleeves in a zigzag line. The sleeves end with a fluffy frill or cuffs.

Blouse with batwing sleeve

Agree, everything is very simple! Even a novice needlewoman can do it if she tries.

How to sew a simple blouse

The basic blouse model can also be sewn without using patterns. This will require a minimum of time and effort.

  1. It is advisable to use fabric measuring 60x150 centimeters.
  2. Initially, the fabric is folded in half and carefully cut into two neat parts, one of which will be the front and the other the back.
  3. A neck is made on the shelf. In this case, the fabric piece is folded in half. From the top fold, move down about 3 centimeters (focus on the desired neck depth).
  4. Along the upper edge of the cut towards the bend, mark the width of the neck. This is usually about 15 centimeters. Now a smooth line connects the width and depth of the neck.
  5. The sections of the back and the shelf are processed with a frequent zigzag.
  6. The lower part and neckline are treated with a Moscow seam. At the same time, carefully fold the fabric.
  7. Now both parts are sewn together. It is advisable to process the shoulder lines for this.
  8. The product is turned right side out and 2 lines are laid on the sides.

Agree, such a blouse is ideal for plump and thin people. It all depends on the color that will be chosen. The right shade of a light summer blouse will certainly make you look slim.

The pattern of a knitted blouse is in front of you. It consists of two parts: back and front. This photo shows the front - it has a deeper neckline.

And this photo shows the back of the product. As you can see, the patterns are quite short. They display only the upper part of the product: you can cut out the lower straight part yourself, based on the volume of the hips.

The pattern is designed for a height of 170 cm, but you can enlarge it to the desired size and print it out. In addition, the lower part of the blouse can be made longer or shorter, depending on your taste.

DIY knitted blouse - master class:

1. Attach the pattern of one of the parts to the fabric. In this case, the straight edge of the pattern must be applied to the fold of the fabric. Pin the pattern to secure it in several places.

2. Cut out the part clearly along the contours of the pattern (the seam allowances are already taken into account). Do the same with the second pattern, so that you have both the front and back of the product in front of you. As you can see, both fabric parts turned out to be quite wide. The whole point is that we will tighten them: the front due to the curly waves, and the back due to the central seam.

3. Let's start from the front. We bend it vertically in half and machine stitch it with a straight seam, departing 7 mm from the fold. The central wave strip is ready! Now you need to make two side ones. To do this, move 2 cm to the left from the central seam, make a parallel fold and stitch it.

4. Then step back the same amount to the right and sew a third line of waves.

5. As you can see, the stitched strips can be folded to the left or to the right. We will use this to form a wavy pattern. We bend all three lines to the left and draw a horizontal line that would intersect all three lines.

6. Then we retreat down 5 cm, bend the stripes in the other direction and also sew. We repeat this trick every 5 cm, bending the fabric in different directions. The upper part of the front is ready!

7. Fold the cut out back in half, right side inward. We sew a central vertical line, departing 2 cm from the edge. In the middle of the back we get a tube like this.

8. Cut this tube clearly in the center and lay out the edges of the fabric in different directions. Here you can iron it so that the fabric is better distributed on the sides.

9. Sew four vertical seams across the central part of the back. Thus, we make a decorative seam and fix the edges of the knitwear. The upper part of the back is ready.

10. Place the front and back together, wrong side out. We baste the shoulders and sew them on the machine.

11. Using a centimeter, measure the length of the neck. It turns out to be about 40 cm. We cut out a strip of knitwear for processing the neck, 40 cm long and 5 cm wide. Fold the strip in half (lengthwise), and then bend the edges to the center. Iron it with an iron.

12. Sew together the edges of the strip to make a donut. Then we place this donut evenly along the entire length of the neck, securing it with pins.

13. Attach the edging using a typewriter.

14. Now you need to attach the bottom of the knitted blouse. We cut out two rectangles, which on the upper side will be equal to the lower edge of the upper part. Well, we make the bottom edge based on our volumes. Attach the bottom piece and sew the side seams of the blouse.

15. We turn the armholes of the sleeves inward twice and also stitch them. We also turn the bottom edge of the product and hem it.

A knitted blouse with waves, sewn by yourself, is ready! This is a fairly simple product that won’t take up much of your time!

Hello. Tops with full sleeves are popular now. I also like this option, so I sewed a similar knitted long sleeve.

The fabric is a smooth satin stitch with the addition of lycra.

I have one length and therefore I will make the sleeve cut off. To ensure that all the parts fit on the cut, I do a little calculation.

I will arrange the details like this.

96 (full circumference of the top) + 24 (sleeve at the bottom) + 36 (sleeve at the top) = 156 cm.

Fabric width 180 cm. 180 - 156 = 24 cm.

24 / 4 = 6 cm. By 6 cm I can extend the shoulder.

I build the back directly on the fabric. I immediately increase the neck width according to the model (instead of 7.5 I make 9 cm).

I cut it out and don’t forget to make allowances. I will be joining using an overlocker, so 7 mm allowances are enough for me.

I apply the back to the fabric folded in half and make changes as described in. I make the neck depth 5 cm, because the neckline is designed like a boat.

I cut out the shelf.

I measure the length of the shoulder on the shelf: 22 cm.

The total length of the shoulder and sleeve is 63 cm. 63 - 22 = 41 cm. This is the length of the sleeve.

Sleeve length 41 cm plus allowances. I make a double hem at the bottom, so I allow an allowance of 3 cm.

I draw the sleeves. On top I have 36/2 = 18 cm, on bottom 24/2 = 12 cm.

All the details are cut out, I assemble the top and try it on.

My result turned out to be too wide, so I moved the side line.

Sewing

Connecting the shoulder sections

Sew on the sleeves

In one pass I connect the sleeve seam and the side seam.

Neck treatment

I chop off the necks

I pin the fabric on top, also folded in half, and cut out the top of the neckline on it, marking where the shoulder seam goes. These will be the details of the neck facing.

The width of the facing is 3 - 4 cm in finished form. The total width is 3 - 4 cm plus allowance (mine is 7 mm).

I connect the facing parts and overcast the free edge.

I prick face to face.

I turn it inside out, iron it, pin it.

I put a stitch so that the facing does not come out.

I overcast the bottom, turn it in 2-3 cm and add a stitch.
