Big star for February 23. A voluminous paper star is an excellent attribute of Victory Day and Defender of the Fatherland

Good afternoon dear readers! On the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, we have prepared original and simple ideas for children; today we offer interesting options for greeting cards. They perfectly express love and respect for a loved one. After all, the postcard is made with your own hands, it is much better than any other purchased in a store.

The child can make some of them on his own. To create others you will need your mother's help. But still, this is a very exciting and interesting activity.

DIY paper card for dad for February 23

This simple postcard can be made from colored paper in just a few minutes.

We will need:

  • scissors;
  • simple pencil;
  • glue;
  • felt-tip pens (red and black);
  • sheet of white A4 paper;
  • a sheet of double-sided black A4 paper;
  • a small rectangle of pink paper (for the bow);
  • some green paper (for buttons).

Stages of work:

1. Adjust black paper to white. Align and bend in half.

2. Unfold and bend again. But now, we bring each edge only to the middle. This is where the first bend is located.

3. And fold it again. This way we get a sheet folded in four.

4. Using a simple pencil, draw half of the heart. Next, cut along our drawn line. As a result, we get a heart card. It is black on the outside and white on the inside.

You can write a holiday wish on a white background.

5. Fold the front black side of the heart (top). It turns out to be the collar of a black jacket.

7. All we have to do is decorate the card. Cut out two buttons from green paper. Their diameter is 1-2 cm. We draw holes on them with a black felt-tip pen. And glue it on the right side of the jacket.

8. Next, cut out a small pink rectangle. Fold it in half and cut out a bow. The edges will be slightly wider than the middle. Unfold and glue the bow to one of the front sides of the white shirt.

9. The postcard is ready. All that remains is to write your wish inside.

4. Draw a star at the top of the card. Carefully cut out.

5. Draw a star on cardboard (red). It will be slightly smaller in size than on the postcard. The red star will be voluminous, so the template is presented below.

6. Cut it out and bend it along the dotted lines, and also fold the gray ears. As a result, we get such a voluminous star.

7. Glue the red star to the inside right side of the card.

8. Now you need to cut out three strips of black and two strips of orange colored paper. Each is about 5 mm. width. Next, glue them to the bottom of the card, in a checkerboard pattern. We cut off the excess edges.

We suggest cutting out numbers from red cardboard and gluing them to the card.

This is the greeting card we got. If you wish, you can write a beautiful poem inside it.

Airplane made of colored cardboard:

Tank - this postcard is not difficult to make, and dad or grandfather will be very pleased to receive it as a gift

This craft made from matches is also very beautiful:

In fact, making this card is very simple, but it turns out very cool. For this you need matches, cardboard base, glue, scissors and regular postcards (or printed on a printer) with the theme of February 23rd.

  1. Now we need to draw a square measuring 14*14 cm on paper and then divide it into 9 equal squares and glue matches on them, as shown in the picture. When the workpiece is dry, you can coat it with varnish. The base requires approximately 3 boxes of matches.

2. Then glue stickers or postcards

This is how beautiful it turns out:

An interesting idea in kindergarten for children 3-4 years old

This card is suitable for small children. It's not difficult to do. The only thing the teacher needs to do is prepare all the details of the application in advance.

We will need:

  • blue colored cardboard;
  • brown rectangle (for the rocket body);
  • one red star;
  • two red rectangles;

Place a green triangle above it. This will be the top part of the rocket. Now our future rocket resembles a tall house. Next, glue red triangles on both sides of the rocket. In the middle we will place two yellow illuminated windows.

And finally, let's decorate our rocket with a red star.

The postcard is ready!

Here are some more examples with applications:

The basis of this postcard is a disposable plate painted with paints, but such a circle can also be cut out of plain paper, also painted with paints, and a sun and a ship can be glued on.

But here’s an idea just for the little ones in the younger group:

A beautiful applique made of felt, of course, here you need the help of an adult to cut out the parts, and the child needs to carefully glue everything together.

An original gift in the form of a shirt and tie for dad and grandfather

An unusual, although very common, postcard-shirt using the origami technique. If you haven't made such a postcard yet. We recommend you try it.

We will need:

  • colored paper (yellow and blue);
  • double-sided tape or glue;
  • ruler;
  • blue cardboard.

Stages of work:

We bend a sheet of blue paper in half (along the longer side). Unfold and re-fold each edge towards the middle, as we did in the first version of the heart card. Next, we bend the two edges in the form of a collar.

We turn it over to the other side and the sleeves of the shirt come out.

On the opposite side we bend the edge by about 5 mm.

Turn it over to the other side and bend the corner with the tip towards the middle. We also do the same with the second corner.

Fold the card in half. We get this little blue shirt.

Now we glue all the parts with glue or tape.

Let's start making the tie. Cut out a yellow square 7 by 7 cm. Place the square on the table in the shape of a diamond. We draw a vertical line in the middle. We bend the upper corners towards the middle.

We turn the tie and bend the top corner by about 1 cm. And now we lift the small corner up again.

We turn it over again and make a clasp like this, bending the top of the tie a little. Let's fold the vertical halves. We glue everything well.

Now we decorate the shirt with a tie using tape or glue. The top of the tie should extend slightly under the collar.

Fold the blue cardboard in half. Glue the shirt to the front of the card.

Our holiday card-shirt is ready.

We write a holiday greeting inside. This card is suitable not only for February 23, but also for the birthday of your dad, brother or grandfather.

Here's a visual diagram:

Detailed master class on beautiful design using quilling technique for schoolchildren

Quilling is a very interesting and exciting activity for those who like to make all kinds of paper crafts. It is popularly known as paper rolling. And this is justified, because all crafts (using this technique) are made from twisted strips of paper.

Compositions made using the quilling technique can be voluminous or flat. This is not a very difficult activity that can be done with children. But to achieve beauty in crafts, you need to show a lot of patience and perseverance.

Let's start making a postcard for Defender of the Fatherland Day.

We will need:

  • quilling paper in two shades;
  • a sheet of green cardboard;
  • special tool for quilling;
  • small die-cut pictures (for wishes);
  • PVA glue and glue stick;
  • brush (for applying glue);
  • yellow colored paper;
  • scissors.

Stages of work:

Fold a sheet of green cardboard in half. Glue half a yellow sheet of colored paper inside.

Now let’s start decorating the postcard using the quilling technique. We insert a strip of yellow paper into the hole in the rod of the quilling tool and carefully wrap the paper around it.

Be careful not to let the paper roll fall off the stem.

In this way we wind the strip until it is completely on the rod. Now carefully remove it and shape it into a leaf. Glue the end of the strip with a glue stick so that the roll does not unwind back.

As a result, we should have nine yellow leaves. Next we make one brown, flatter one. We roll six circles from burgundy paper. We arrange all this in the form of a tank.

We make a cannon from yellow, burgundy and brown stripes.

Now let's move on to the number 23. We slightly fold the yellow strip and bend it in the form of a two. Don't forget to wrap its lower tip. We also make number 3.

All we have to do is make curls to decorate the holiday card. Here it is worth showing your imagination. For example, if you bend half of the strip in one direction, and the other half in the opposite direction. You will get such a beautiful decorative element.

Using a brush and transparent glue, attach all the parts to the main card. We paste cut-out pictures onto the yellow background and write wishes.

The postcard using the quilling technique is ready!

Dear readers and guests of the “Family and Childhood” website. In this lesson we will return again to the topic of the wonderful February holiday - Defender of the Fatherland Day; you must definitely prepare for it. I am sure that you have someone to congratulate. Orders are awarded to the strongest and bravest soldiers who distinguished themselves in battle, and for every child, the most beloved hero is the father or grandfather. Children will be happy to make a wonderful gift for them with their own hands. The paper star order for February 23 is made from paper trefoils assembled using the origami method. Having mastered this lesson, you will learn how to model such details; such knowledge will definitely be useful to you in the future.

To create a paper order, prepare:

- red or hot pink paper, the reverse side of which is white - 1 sheet;

- scissors;

- pencil and ruler;

- cardboard - a very small circle 2-3 cm in diameter;

- metal buttons and rhinestones if desired.

Paper order step by step

The star must be red or bright pink; only this color will suit us. All other tools are needed for drawing squares on a sheet of paper, cutting them out and gluing individual rays into a star.

The star should be five-pointed, so you should cut out 5 identical squares of any size from paper. Shown here is an option using blanks with a side of 6 cm. It is better to take the back side of the sheet white; after modeling the trefoil you will get an interesting two-color blank. You can verify this by looking at the final photo. If the product were monochromatic, it would not look so expressive and elegant.

Turn the square with the white side facing you. First fold along the diagonal to press and highlight it. Then fold the two sides adjacent to each other and close them along the intended diagonal.

Fold the rest of the triangular paper up. In the resulting triangle, also lift the two lower corners. The sides must be joined along the center line. If an even square is initially cut, then all corners and sides will fit perfectly together.

Unfold the triangle and hide the bottom triangular tab under the top layer of paper.

Also hide the opposite shoots first inside a two-layer isosceles triangle. Then select two diamond-shaped areas by folding back the corners of the top layer of paper.

Thus, you will get a trefoil, the reverse side of which is two-colored. We will make it the front one. For the star, prepare 5 parts.

Take a circle of cardboard and stick on all the rays.

The star - the central part of the order is ready. Glue a double strip of thin paper of any color under the bottom.

Decorate the craft with buttons and rhinestones to make it sparkle.

A wonderful children's gift is ready for February 23rd. The Order is worthy of a real man - a brave defender.

I hope, dear readers, that you will engage in such exciting and useful creativity with your children in your spare time. Subscribe to our updates and share information with friends.

On the eve of the holidays, we often have to think about how to decorate the house or what greetings to come up with for loved ones and colleagues, and people who have children also have to help make school holiday crafts. So everyone is a little familiar with handicrafts. This article will tell you how to make a star out of paper with your own hands, which can be used both in New Year's decorations and for other festive and other events.

Sprocket options

3D stars can be made in several different ways, or rather in countless ways. Let's consider three options.

For work we will need the following materials:

  1. For the first two variations, colored paper, and for the third, cardboard, also colored. If you don't have this on hand, use plain white paper. Then you can either color it with paints or felt-tip pens, or leave it white;
  2. Pencil, glue, scissors.

All stars are very easy to perform.

Eight pointed star

To begin, cut out two identical colored squares and fold them in half.

After this, fold the square in half twice in a row, the result should be as in the photo:

Divide the distance from the middle to the edge of the sheet into two, and then make four cuts.

Now the cuts we have made will allow us to bend the edges, which will become the wedges of the future star. We focus on the photo and bend it.

Now we treat the folds with glue and glue them together.

We get one half of the star ready.

All that remains is to make another exactly the same half, it can be the same color, or it can be absolutely opposite.

Lubricate the inner side of the rays of one star with glue and, by connecting the two halves, we get a real beautiful star.

A decorated version might look something like this:

Second option

If the star must be three-dimensional, then you need to understand that it will consist of two parts. So in this case, first prepare one half, then the other and connect. Let's use a blank diagram.

The cut out parts come out as flat shaped pieces of leaf.

To give them volume, you should press on the fold lines and as a result you will get slightly convex parts.

The places where the parts are glued are aligned and a finished, even part of the star is obtained.

The second half is performed in the same way.

Using the same office glue, we connect the star.

Simple and voluminous

For this craft you will need cardboard and a diagram, which is attached below.

Two such elements are cut out according to the template. Now a cut is made on the first one according to the red line indicated in the diagram:

On the second element, also along the red line, but from this diagram:

The stars are connected and a rather simple, but unusual star is obtained.

Any of the variations of such stars can be decorated with colored felt-tip pens, paints, sculpted with beads, sequins and so on, in general, you can make them colorful and elegant as you wish.

Christmas decorations

You can make your own stars not just as a craft, but specifically for some event, for example, on a Christmas tree for the New Year and Christmas holidays. Several ideas for such stars are presented in the video:

We will show you the sequence of actions when creating a Christmas tree decoration - a star.

To create a holiday star we will need the following materials:

  1. A printer that will allow you to print a template in real size for cutting;
  2. Colored paper or thin cardboard;
  3. Scissors and glue.

Initially, a template is printed and a blank is cut out from it.

The places indicated by dotted lines are intended for folds.

When the individual parts are ready, you can start gluing them all together.

This star can be used as a Christmas tree decoration; just attach a thread or a beautiful ribbon.

Men's holiday decoration

On February 23rd you always want to give a rather original gift. You can complement and diversify it with unusual stars. Multi-colored origami stars are perfect for such an event. To create them, you only need a strip of paper a little more than a centimeter. Such a strip can either be cut from plain colored paper, or from completely multi-colored magazine paper.

The photo clearly shows step-by-step instructions, but we will describe it in more detail. We start making an asterisk from the very edge, bend the loop and wrap the tail of the shelf into it, we get a knot. We press on the knot making it flat. In theory there should be a distinct pentagon. Turning the star over, hide the tail inside.

The star turns out to be quite small, but its size can be controlled by the width of the strip, and the number of even such small congratulation decorative elements will be very pleasing.

There are many ways to create stars with your own hands, detailed instructions with photos, video tutorials and so on. All you have to do is choose something that suits you and do it.

This selection of videos will help you decide which stars you need.

The symbol of two wonderful holidays, such as February 23 - Defender of the Fatherland Day, and May 9 - Victory Day, has been a five-pointed army star for many years. This symbol is used in the symbolism of the army; it is used to indicate the rank of a military man. The five-pointed star is essentially a symbol of the era and the great state. Therefore, I suggest you learn how to make this beautiful symbol - a three-dimensional star made from paper with all your heart.

We make a three-dimensional star from paper in MK with our own hands

To make a star we will need:
  • A template with the help of which the whole process will go;
  • Colored paper or cardboard;
  • Glue;
  • Scissors;

We cut out two parts according to this template. You can print it out or draw your own. The color of the parts may vary; this should be made from thick colored paper or cardboard.

The red lines show the gluing points. The dashed line indicates the fold locations. To bend the parts in these places you need to resort to a process called creasing, or simply pushing. To do this, we take a non-writing ballpoint pen, or even better, do it with the edge of an ordinary teaspoon. We apply a ruler to the dashed line and press the fold line with our tool, after which we carefully bend it; as a result of the manipulations done, the result should be what is shown in the photo.

we bend the gluing points and coat them with any glue, you can use a glue stick, in this case, unlike using PVA, our paper or cardboard will not get wet and will not be deformed. Glue them together.

In the example, the halves of the star are made of different colors.

From two sheets of paper.

This option is the simplest one you can think of. In order to make a star for February 23, we will again use colored paper or colored cardboard, however, in the case of the latter, you should look for double-sided colored cardboard.

We cut out the star according to the template, or draw it with our own hands; I’ll tell you how to do this at the end of the article.

The red line indicates the cut that is needed in order to connect the two crafts into the final result.

On the second part, the cut will not go from top to bottom, but from bottom to top

We join the parts by inserting them into each other with cuts.

All this will look even better if you decorate them with satin ribbons or glitter.

How to draw a beautiful and neat five-pointed star with even rays?

For this we need:

  • Compass;
  • Pencil;
  • Ruler;
I will describe the further steps step by step:

Draw a circle of such a diameter that the star inscribed in it matches the size of your future craft.

Then we draw a line AB through the center and a perpendicular to it.

To draw an exact perpendicular in the middle, you need to draw two semicircles from points A and B whose radius is greater than the radius of our main circle. As a result, these two semicircles drawn from two diametrically opposite points will intersect, draw a line through the intersection of the circles.

We denote the point of intersection of perpendicular lines as point O. We divide the segment AO in the same way as we described above, and we obtain points E in the middle of the segment AO.

From point E we draw a circle whose radius will be equal to the radius CE, that is, we put the tip of the compass at point E, and the writing part at point C and with this radius we draw a part of the circle that will intersect with line AB. At the place of the notch we put point F. EF is the radius we need, equal to the length of the side of the inscribed pentagon in the circle.

Next, using a compass solution, we take a radius equal to EF and from point C we make a notch on the circle, then we place the tip of the compass at the intersection of the notch and the circle, after which we repeat this procedure 5 times, as a result of which you should return back to point C. We mark in places intersection of the circle and the serifs of the point, erase everything except the points. Now all we have to do is connect the dots to form a five-pointed star; the second option is to connect the dots to form a pentagon.

Making decorations for the holidays of Victory and Defenders of the Fatherland from paper is not at all difficult because even a small child can handle it. This article will help you teach your children how to make such crafts. I also advise you to watch several videos of people making similar stars with their own hands. By the way, in addition to patriotic motifs, our crafts can serve as decoration for children's rooms; they will look simply amazing if you hang them under a stream and paint them with sparkles or fluorescent red, which will give your child a real starry sky, which you will make with your own hands with minimal manufacturing costs.
