You will need: a glass goblet (wine glass) with water, small flat candles with a foil base, fresh flowers, beads. We tint the water with food coloring, place a flower and beads at the bottom of the glass, pour in the colored water and lower the candle on top.

We place a long candle in a glass candlestick on a wide plate and arrange flowers around it.

Candles can also be placed in beautiful glasses from different sets and placed on a wooden stand.

You can use a herring fish as a base. You will also need candles and Christmas tree balls.

To make it decorative, we use candles of different heights or cut one long candle into several different heights, place Christmas tree balls in a plate and line up the candles in a row, starting from the longest to the shortest (it turns out to be a stepped row).

The master class is simple. We buy stained glass paints (three jars are enough) and a tube of stained glass contour (to prevent mixing and spreading of paints). We apply a pattern on the glasses in the form of square cells. It dries for about 5 hours, then we paint them with stained glass paint. Heat the oven to 130 degrees, bake the glass for 5-10 minutes.

Arrangement of pine cones and Christmas balls

To create it, you need fir or pine cones (we paint them with silver or gold paint), and then we put them in tall glass vases mixed with balls.

We take a flat dish, cover it with moss, put a small artificial Christmas tree in the center, sprinkle acorns, maybe nuts, and attach deer figures.

Or you can take a wide vase on a long leg, pour salt into it (snowdrifts), place pine cones (Christmas trees) there, attach deer figures and put a candle.

Dried flower decoration

Dried flowers look very impressive when creating New Year's compositions. You can use them without adding pine branches, so they will look more decorative. If you didn’t have time to stock up on a herbarium in the summer, you can also find dried herbs (yarrow, wormwood) in the winter. We dry them after the snow and paint them with gouache or spray paint, preferably in New Year's colors. We stick it into the foam base or sponge. We take a basket, put the composition there and decorate the bottom with tinsel or moss.

You can take a large vase, pour water into it and place spruce (cedar, pine) branches, decorate with artificial snow (you can sprinkle with crushed foam or pieces of cotton wool). And put “lumps” of snow around the vase or pierce them with twigs (like snow on the branches). There are two ways to make lumps:

Pour PVA glue into a bowl, tear off pieces of cotton wool, dip them in glue and roll into balls. Let it dry overnight.
We purchase felt for felting. Pour water into a bowl, add soap (any soap will do). Then we tear off a piece from the layer of felt, moisten it in this water and begin to roll; the more we press the felt with our palms, the denser the ball becomes. By gradually adding felt, you can increase its size.

Edible decorations

This type of decoration is the most fragrant and delicious.

Gingerbread house, made according to the original recipe, with lighting. Sponge cake recipe: honey, sugar syrup and softened butter are kneaded until smooth, then add flour, eggs, soda on the tip of a knife, spices (cinnamon, cloves, ground ginger and nutmeg, cardamom, lemon juice).

When the cakes have cooled, cut out the parts for the house, place an LED strip on a rectangular stand (or tray), assemble, fill with sour cream or cover with white mastic. When the lights in the room are dimmed, the shimmering of the house creates a magical mood.
