Hair coloring with onion peel recipe. How to dye your hair with onion peel at home

Few girls can boast of a bright and rich natural hair color. Most girls of the Slavic type have naturally light brown hair, which in itself looks boring, and often also gray. Worried about the health of her curls, not every beauty decides to use hair dye, because sometimes it can be fraught with overdrying of both the scalp and the hair itself. Onion peel will help to transform.

Pros and cons of staining with onion peel

The most important and huge advantage of this type of staining is naturalness. This means that the hair not only does not deteriorate, but is also saturated with many useful substances, strengthened, and cured of many problems.

The availability of the tool itself can also be called a definite plus. Most often, onion peels are simply thrown away, so there will definitely not be any problems in collecting the required amount. As a last resort, you can ask about leftovers in vegetable shops or warehouses. There's definitely a lot of it and it's all thrown away.

Coloring with onion peel will be a salvation for those girls who suffer from allergies or simply have very delicate and sensitive skin. In this case, the husk will not act as aggressively on the hair structure as chemical dyes.

It is difficult to say unequivocally whether this is an advantage or a disadvantage, but it will not last long. On the one hand, this allows you to often change your image and change tones, on the other hand, if you like the result, then the procedure will have to be carried out quite often. After a while, the color will no longer “wash out” so much and the effect will last much longer. The disadvantages can already be attributed to the fact that this method of staining is not suitable for every girl.

Staining with onion peel is not suitable for owners. The maximum that they can achieve is a slight golden hue in the sun. But fair-haired girls, fair-haired, and even gray-haired ladies can achieve even different shades of coloring on their hair. O The shade will depend on the concentration of the mixture.

Dark hair with a golden hue

The disadvantages include the process of preparing the coloring mixture and the application process. This is far from being as simple and easy as with chemical staining. The mixture is cooked for a long time, and in this mixture you will also have to sit a lot. At first, it will be difficult to predict what the result will be, but over time, accuracy and understanding of the effect on the hair will be gained here.

Even with all the beneficial effects on the hair, you should not stain with onion peel immediately after chemical exposure. Make a gap between them at least a week so that your hair comes to life before a new experiment.

Benefits of onions for hair

Surprisingly, many useful substances are contained not only in the bulb, but also in its peel. This is known not only by adherents of natural cosmetics, but also by pharmacists and cosmetologists.

There are a number of preparations where onion peel is used as a basis or as an additional component. The same applies to cosmetics for skin and hair. So throwing away this storehouse of useful components is not rational when it is possible to saturate the hair with natural health. What is it:

  • phytoncides, flavonoids and other antibacterial components. These substances also kill fungi on the skin, which makes onion peel excellent;
  • a number of vitamins. Namely, nicotinic acid (PP), vitamin C, vitamins of the B group, vitamin A. All of them are necessary for the beauty and health of hair, but it is advisable to drink these same vitamins in an additional course so that saturation occurs not only externally, but also internally;
  • essential minerals. These are potassium, iron and phosphorus. They are also very important building blocks for healthy hair;
  • separately, a substance such as quercetin should be isolated. It is due to him that onion peel has acquired such value in cosmetology and the pharmaceutical field. This substance belongs to the group of flavanols and in medicine is part of anti-inflammatory drugs, drugs to improve the functioning of the heart and blood vessels. It is often the active ingredient in medications for cataracts, asthma, and even cancer. Cosmetology uses quercetin to slow down the aging process of the skin.

Using onion peel will not only give your hair a beautiful color, but also strengthen it, get rid of dandruff and prevent even severe hair loss. If you prepare a decoction and simply rinse your hair with it, then a bright color will not work, but the quality of the curls will noticeably improve.

How to prepare a coloring composition

The process of preparing the coloring composition is the same, but different shades require different proportions of husk and water. The more husks, the darker the hair color will turn out. For the solution, you will need the onion peel itself, water, a container where you can boil and a resealable container for storage. Glycerin can be added to the finished decoction if you choose to rub daily to obtain the desired color.

Coloring composition

Before cooking, you should decide on the future hair color. For a light gold grain, you will need only half a glass of dry husk, for red and red tones - about 30 grams, for - 50-60 grams of husk. This calculation is for 1 cup of boiling water. In the first two options, the calculation is for blond hair. In the latter case, it is advisable to cook immediately in a saucepan with a volume of 3 liters. Then, to maintain proportions, you should fill it with about a third of onion peel and pour one and a half liters of water. For an even darker color - one liter.

Despite the fact that the husk must be poured with a glass of boiling water, the mixture must still be boiled. Therefore, dry onions should be poured immediately into a saucepan or bowl and boiling water should be added there. Boil the mixture for 20 minutes, and then be sure to strain. In a still warm broth, it is advisable to add a couple of teaspoons of glycerin or other cosmetic oil.

Hair dye technology

There are a few . You can simply rinse your hair with a ready-made broth, but then there will be no lasting result and the procedure will need to be repeated after each shampooing. A rich color from rinsing will also not work, but for those who just want to add a little shade and shine, it is perfect.

Glycerol

If oil or glycerin is added to the decoction, then the decoction can and should be rubbed daily. If the hair is not prone to dryness, then you can do without oils. For a full-fledged deep coloring with this method, it will take about 3 weeks, but it all depends on the desired color and on how the hair itself can be dyed. After obtaining the desired shade, it will be enough to periodically, and if the color is washed out strongly, then the rubbing of the decoction should be repeated.

For long-term preservation of color and deep shade, a concentrated decoction is applied along the entire length for several hours. After that, rinse your head with plain warm water without using shampoo or soap. This option is most suitable for dark curls, but they will not change dramatically. But blond hair will become much darker, and red hair will become chestnut.

Dark-haired young ladies can additionally add henna or basma, coffee and other natural dyes. Clarification by folk remedies is not available for them. Fair-haired girls can experiment on their own.

Be sure to maintain the time difference between staining with chemical products and natural ones. But the most beautiful effect is obtained precisely on completely unpainted hair. The combination of hair dye and onion skins can give unexpected results. Girls with a perm should also be careful.

clean hair

Coloring should be carried out on clean, dry hair. This mostly applies to any styling products. Any "chemistry" reacts strangely to natural dyes. An unexpected color can still give sea water. At best, the color will "go" in spots. If you added henna or basma to the onion peel, then contact with sea water may result in a green tint.

To maintain the desired shade, it is desirable to additionally rinse with decoctions. It is not necessary that it was a decoction of onion peel. Any natural dyes of similar colors will do. An excellent option would be oak bark.

Do not forget about the daily course. To keep your hair beautiful and healthy, it is recommended to choose a natural mask and conditioner that matches your condition and type of curls.

If there are any concerns, then you can dye your hair with onion peel on a separate strand on an inconspicuous part of the head. Then it will be much clearer whether it is worth applying this option to all hair, or whether you should look for other ways to transform your appearance.

Dear readers, it is no exaggeration to say that any woman wants to be beautiful and attract admiring glances. And so we want the condition of the hair to please us. Beautiful, healthy hair always makes our appearance more attractive.

Currently, natural hair care products are becoming increasingly popular, because their effectiveness has been tested for centuries, and the price is often low, affordable for each of us. Today we will talk about how to use onion peel for hair.

We talked about the benefits of husks for our health in the article Pay attention to its useful and healing properties for disease prevention and general recovery. The healing abilities of onion husks have not bypassed our hair either: with its help, you can perfectly take care of them, restore weakened and damaged hair, and also give a beautiful shade when dyeing your hair. And if you are supporters of professional hair dyes, then you can see everything in stores, in network campaigns, for example, use hair dye from the Oriflame A catalog, we return to the topic of conversation. What are the benefits of using onion peel for hair?

Benefits of procedures

The composition of onion peel includes a whole set of biologically active components, among which an important place is occupied by a particularly valuable substance quercetin. This is a simple natural remedy:

  • promotes the renewal of skin cells of the scalp,
  • improves blood circulation,
  • strengthens and nourishes the hair roots,
  • normalizes the condition of the sebaceous glands,
  • moisturizes and restores the hair structure,
  • improves their condition and appearance,
  • promotes growth,
  • fights fungal diseases of the scalp,
  • relieves itching, peeling and other discomfort,
  • normalizes metabolism.

Hair health first of all begins with the health of the skin of the scalp. As I already wrote, onion peel has anti-inflammatory, bactericidal, antifungal, wound healing, anti-allergic effects, increases the protective properties of the skin and is widely used to treat skin diseases, as well as for rejuvenation.

Application result

As a result of the use of compositions with onion peel, the hair becomes lush, silky, shiny, obedient and strong, acquires volume, elasticity, and combing is facilitated. A nice bonus is that with a simple rinse with a decoction of the husk just once a week, the hair acquires a rich golden hue that shimmers in the sun.

We solve problems

Due to this range of effects, the husk is used for:

  • greasy hair,
  • weakened and damaged hair,
  • sparse and thin hair,
  • dandruff treatment,
  • with hair loss, especially at the initial stage.

As we have seen, onion peel is a good and most importantly affordable remedy for hair restoration and care. There is nothing difficult in its application. The easiest way is to rinse your hair with a decoction of the husk after washing. The decoction is also used for rubbing into the scalp. You can use the husk to make masks and lotions for hair care.

The husk is non-allergenic and well tolerated. But if there are other components in the composition, then a tolerance test should be carried out before use to be sure that it will not harm you.

Most often, onion peel is used to give hair a golden hue, as well as to dye hair. The advantage of this product is its complete naturalness, unlike industrial dyes that adversely affect the hair, especially with frequent dyeing. In addition, the husk can be used to color gray hair.

Another important advantage of this tool is that it not only dyes the hair, but also restores and heals them.

Hair rinses

To prepare a decoction or infusion for rinsing, onion peel is used by itself or in combination with other components. Here it is important to pay attention to the following: since the husk contains coloring components, care should be taken with the concentration of the rinse liquid and, depending on the result, increase or decrease the amount of husk for a given volume of water. You can also increase the concentration if, after boiling, boil the husk for 20-30 minutes.

Rinses are used after washing the hair and are not washed off with water. Hair should be dried naturally.

First way

Half a glass of onion peel pour 2-3 liters. hot water, bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cover, warm and leave to cool. Strain.

Second way

Half a glass of onion peel pour 3 liters. hot water, bring to a boil. Remove from heat, add 3 tbsp. chamomile pharmacy. Cover the container with a lid, insulate and leave to cool. Strain.

Strengthening and stimulating hair growth

We can also rub infusions and decoctions into the hair roots. For rubbing into the scalp, decoctions and infusions of onion peel are used in pure form and in the collection, but in a higher concentration than when rinsing. In addition, rubbing has a more pronounced therapeutic effect.

I wrote about how to prepare a decoction or infusion of onion peel for hair, as well as for internal use, in an article. There you can read recipes for its use for the treatment of various diseases.

To strengthen hair roots

To prepare a decoction for hair, onion peel and birch leaves are mixed in a 1: 1 ratio. 2 tbsp collection pour 300 ml. cold water, bring to a boil and boil on the smallest fire for 10 minutes. Let stand until cool, strain.

The resulting broth with cotton wool is rubbed into the scalp with massage movements. The exposure time is half an hour. The procedure should be carried out once or twice a week. The course of treatment is 1-2 months.

To stimulate hair growth

To prepare a decoction for hair, onion peel is mixed with dry nettle in a ratio of 1: 1. 2 tbsp mixture pour 500 ml. hot water, bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cover and leave for 30-40 minutes. Strain. The use is the same as in the previous recipe.

I propose to watch the video material Onion peel for the beauty and density of hair.

Onion peel hair masks

Onion peel, both in the form of a decoction and in crushed form, is used to make hair masks.

Anti-dandruff hair mask

Beat an egg (preferably homemade), add 2 tbsp. decoction of the husk, 1 tbsp. skate and 1 tsp. castor oil. In the presence of dry hair, use only the yolk. Mix everything well and apply to the hair roots, massaging the scalp for 10 minutes. Procedure time - 1 hour.

Use only warm water for washing. To enhance the effect, after you wash off the mask, rinse your hair with a decoction of onion peel for rinsing.

This mask helps not only to get rid of the fungus that causes dandruff, but also prevents hair loss, promotes their strengthening and growth.

Hair Growth Mask

In the composition of this mask, in addition to onion peel, there are two more strong components that have a healing and healing effect on the scalp and hair - these are olive oil and kefir. You can read about the benefits of kefir for hair, as well as how to use it, in my article Kefir hair masks.

2 tbsp chopped onion peel, 1 tbsp. olive oil, 1 tbsp. mix kefir and heat in a water bath until warm (40-50 degrees). At the end, add a few drops of lavender essential oil.

Mix the composition well and apply to the hair roots, gently massaging. Cover your hair with polyethylene and insulate with a terry towel. The exposure time is half an hour. The procedure is carried out twice a week. The course is 2-3 months.

How to dye your hair with onion peel?

Hair coloring with onion peel is suitable for owners of dark blond hair and brown-haired women. In brunettes, the effect of such coloring will be expressed in a golden-reddish tint of hair, which is especially noticeable in the sun. It should also be noted that this procedure cannot be carried out on hair already dyed with industrial dyes, as well as after perm.

The prepared decoction is applied to clean, dry hair, previously divided into strands, with the help of cotton wool, thoroughly soaking them.

The color after dyeing the hair with onion peel depends on the concentration of the decoction and the exposure time on the hair. The exposure time is selected individually and ranges from half an hour to two hours. To enhance the effect, after applying the decoction, the hair is covered with polyethylene and insulated with a terry towel. The hair is washed with warm water without soap and shampoo.

If the first time it was not possible to achieve the desired shade / color, then the procedure can be repeated the next day or after a couple of days.

Now let's look at several recipes for preparing a decoction of onion peel for hair, depending on the desired color.

Light golden hue

50 gr. onion peel pour 250 ml. hot water, bring to a boil and boil on the smallest fire for 15-20 minutes. Wait until the broth has cooled to an acceptable temperature, strain.

Onion husks were used by beauties as an effective tool to dye curls. True, it is sometimes impossible to predict what shade such a dye will give. From the structure of the strand and their initial state, you can get shades from golden to red. How to dye your hair with onion peel? They paint it on clean curls.

Both hair and skin will be dyed. This means that the latter must be protected from unwanted staining by smearing with flax or olive extract.

The resulting broth is evenly spread over the strands, literally massaging into the hair, but not the skin. On top, cover the hair with a film with a warm scarf and leave the composition to work from one and a half to two hours. Time is determined by the intensity of the staining result. A few minutes is enough to get a light reflection.

At the end of the procedure, the hair is thoroughly washed with warm water without shampoo and dried without using a hair dryer. Maintaining a spectacular tone makes a daily procedure mandatory.

Onion dye should not be applied to dyed curls or for hair after perming. The result can be disastrous. So, after industrial paints, onion peel is able to dye the hair in a green tone.

It makes no sense to store the composition with onion peel. It will lose useful properties. So every time you have to cook a new portion.

Composition preparation

In order for the broth to acquire greater concentration and saturation, after boiling according to the recipe, it is necessary to infuse it for two or three hours, wrap the container and leave it in a warm place.

If you don’t like the resulting hair tone, then wash your head thoroughly with shampoo several times. An unpleasant odor after staining will not be removed by washing the strand. But you can disaromatize the composition during preparation. Raw materials are laid out in the fresh air for several days. The bad smell will disappear.

There are many combinations: different proportions of onion raw materials and water give different effects. But there are a few rules that must be followed. And most importantly - you can use natural dyes only on natural-colored hair.

But with the help of onion peel, gray hair is excellently painted over. To obtain a remedy for a strong composition of a handful of onion skins per hundred milliliters of water, already infused, add a couple of tablespoons of liquid glycerin. The solution is applied to the strands twice or thrice a week. It's easy to prepare ingredients but it is necessary to choose the right method of preparation, because the final shade depends on this. A golden light reflection will give a decoction of fifty grams of raw materials per glass of boiling water. The pot with the mass is boiled over a fire for a quarter to a third of an hour, the resulting product is filtered through gauze before being painted with it so that particles of raw materials do not remain in the strands.

The golden brown shade of hair is seventy grams of husk per glass of boiling water. You also need to boil the product for twenty minutes. After straining and cooling, the recipe is ready to use. A reddish-orange tint to the hair will give an increase in the volume of natural dye. One hundred grams of husk is poured with boiling water and boiled for a third of an hour. Strain through several layers of gauze.

A rich chestnut shade of hair will give a three-liter saucepan filling with husks to the top. One and a half liters of boiling water is added to the raw material and the mass is boiled for half an hour, stirring, so that the husk is completely immersed in water. After careful straining, they will try the remedy in practice.

Brown-gold tone - a recipe from one hundred grams of raw materials and two hundred and fifty milliliters of water, a couple of teaspoons of glycerin. First, boil the husk for five maximum seven minutes. Then glycerin is added to the cooled mass. The completely cooled composition is applied to the strands. It is most convenient to do this with a sponge. The desired tone is not always achieved the first time. But do not despair: you need to paint over again until the desired color is reached.

All ladies can dye their hair with onion skins. But the most noticeable results are on light strands. Dark curls will receive a slight reddish sheen, visible under the rays of the sun. But this shade looks amazing. It is appropriate to dye weakened hair, such a procedure will help oily strands.

To get a high-quality result, you need to use a high-quality husk. Remove it according to the recipe only from unspoiled onions. There are no stains or mold on their surface. For hair, only the upper layers, dry, are good. After removal, it is better to hold the husk on a horizontal surface for several hours to get rid of excess moisture. The finished raw materials are stored both in the container and in the bag for an unlimited time.

Natural dyes are useful, but they can dye hair for a short time. Therefore, in order to preserve the resulting shades, you will have to constantly use the products as rinses after washing or massage into the strands.

Dyeing fabric with onion skins

Before dyeing the canvas with onion peel, test it on a small piece of fabric. We dye the entire fabric in one go. The process is laborious - for lovers of experiments with natural dyes.

Tools and equipment:
- The fabric is natural (linen, coarse calico, chintz, satin, poplin, cotton). Synthetic fabrics are practically not dyed with onion skins.
- Capacity for the solution - preferably not enamelled. Ideally - a tin bucket. The lid is required.
- Reserve capacity - for folding the husk
- Onion peel - in a dry and slightly crushed form (without rot) should fill the container by ¾.
- Forceps - or something with which you can periodically get the tissue out of the container.
- A sieve, colander or slotted spoon for catching the husks.

Coloring process:
The first step is soaking. Thoroughly peel the onion skins. Choose rot. Place the husk in a reserve container and fill with water at room temperature. Lightly melt the husk. Let the husk soak for three hours.

Stage two - boiling. Pour the onion infusion from the reserve into the main container, bring to a boil and simmer over low heat with the lid closed for about an hour.

Stage three - immersion. Strain the broth through a sieve (colander) or carefully fish out all the husks with a slotted spoon, placing it in a reserve container. In this case, the concentrate drains from the husk. It must be poured back into the broth. Check again if there is any husk left in the main container. If the remaining husk sticks to the fabric, then irreducible yellow spots are provided.
Add table salt to the broth at the rate of 1 tablespoon of salt per 1 liter of water. Salt is needed to improve the deposition of the dye on the fiber of the fabric.
Immerse the fabric in the solution. Try to calculate in such a way as to dye all the fabric at once, which will go to the planned doll or product. Subsequent brews give a paler shade, and a uniform color will not work.
Try to ensure that there are as few wrinkles as possible when filling the fabric into the container. It is convenient to fold it "accordion".
Cover the container with a lid. Bring the broth to a low boil.

Stage four - cooking. You need to cook for at least 2 hours. All this time, it is necessary to periodically (once every 10-15 minutes) take out the fabric with tongs and lay it with an “accordion” again, trying in no way to repeat the old folds. If this is not done, the folds will be painted over worse and will look like light or even white stripes.

Stage five - drying. When you consider the fabric to be boiled, you need to carefully remove it from the pre-cooled broth (40-50 ° FROM). Unfold the fabric and hang to dry. Squeeze with gentle movements. Rinsing is undesirable.

Stage six - consolidation. The color is not very stable, it is desirable to fix it. To do this, use a strong solution of vinegar essence, simply wiping the fabric with it or briefly dipping it into it. After treatment with vinegar, it is recommended to iron with an iron.

Onion peel can be replaced with turmeric (saffron). The technology is the same. The color turns orange. Wool and silk are better dyed, cotton and linen are worse. It is necessary to take saffron 5% of the weight of the fabric. Also add salt while cooking.

Well, if you don’t want to mess around with onion skins, then you can buy one already tanned and use it for sewing attic dolls or tildes.

Modern women today have a large selection of various hair coloring products. However, the most important thing in this matter is not to harm the hair, not to make it weaker. That is why folk recipes for giving curls of various shades are still relevant. Information on how to dye your hair with onion peel will be interesting and useful to those who care about their hair, because this remedy maintains its beauty, scalp health, and helps to cope with some problems.

What is good onion peel

Onion peel has long been used for various purposes. Why is it good for hair? Its use allows you not only to color your curls, but also to strengthen your hair, prevent hair loss, and helps to cope with dandruff. Such properties of onion peel are due to its composition, it is rich in phytoncides, flavonoids, vitamins, micro and macro elements, that is, a large number of useful substances.

Benefits of onion skins:

  • Give beautiful golden color to hair
  • Provide anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects
  • Deal with fungi.

Onion peel for coloring curls will make your hair beautiful, shiny, improve its structure, and protect your skin from dandruff. In addition, this tool can be considered completely free, because the husk is, in fact, waste. To get a coloring and at the same time healing decoction, you just need to spend a little effort.

You can use onion peel for different types and colors of hair, but the owners of light and light blond curls will get the greatest effect in terms of coloring. The color will be golden, luminous. With regular use, onion dye gives a lasting color and can even cope with gray hair. Such procedures will only benefit your curls, and you will see this pretty quickly. The secret is in regular use with short breaks.

Attention! If you are a burning brunette, then do not expect a coloring effect from using onion peel. However, you will receive restoration and strengthening of hair in any case.

Advice! Be careful if you are a natural blonde, because onion peel tea can give a dirty reddish tint to very fair hair. It will look messy. If you want to experiment, then try the tool on a small strand of hair, which is easy to hide in case of an unsuccessful color.

How to dye your hair

In order to dye your hair, you need to take the upper scales from the bulb, those that have a golden color. The top ones are best removed and thrown away, as they can be dirty.

What color can you get:

  • Golden,
  • golden brown,
  • reddish orange,
  • Chestnut.

The color that you get as a result depends on the original color of your curls and the concentration of onion peel broth with which you will process your hair.

For coloring you will need:

  • onion peel,
  • Pure water,
  • Glycerin for browning
  • Polyethylene shower cap,
  • Towel.

Coloring is very simple: you need to prepare a decoction and apply it to your hair. To give golden and red-orange hues, the product is applied daily to curls, carefully lubricating each strand. It is necessary to continue such processing until the desired color is obtained, on average it takes about three weeks.

Attention! If you use the decoction only for rinsing when washing your hair, then the hair is colored unevenly, and the color is quickly washed off.

If you want to get a chestnut color, a concentrated decoction is made, which is applied to the hair like a mask.

Decoction recipes

golden hues

To get a golden hue of blond hair, you will need 50 grams of husk and one glass of water for one treatment. All this must be boiled over low heat for 15-20 minutes. The finished broth is filtered and cooled to a comfortable temperature.

If you add two teaspoons of glycerin to the same decoction, then the hair color will turn golden brown.

Reddish orange shades

Painting in more saturated shades is carried out with a more concentrated decoction of onion peel, which is boiled for at least 20 minutes. Further, as in the previous recipe, the finished product is filtered, cooled and evenly treated with hair for 2-3 weeks, doing this daily.

chestnut color

Chestnut shades are traditionally attractive to many ladies. Is it possible to achieve such rich tones with onion peel? It turns out yes. For this, a concentrated decoction recipe is used. Prepare it as follows:

  • a three-liter enameled pan is filled with one third of the husk,
  • add about one and a half liters of boiling water to it,
  • boil the contents over low heat for 20 minutes to half an hour,
  • remove from fire, strain, cool.

Before treating your hair, wash it thoroughly with your regular shampoo. After that, dry slightly. Then they are divided into strands and each strand is thoroughly soaked with onion broth. The agent must be applied evenly. After treatment, a plastic shower cap is put on the head and wrapped with a warm towel. You need to hold such a mask for one and a half to two hours, after which it is washed off with just warm water and the hair is dried.

Advice! Hair coloring is carried out after washing, but you should not use conditioners.

What to Consider

Like some other natural dyes, a decoction of onion peel should not be used for coloring hair with a perm, as well as after dyeing them with chemicals. The result can be completely unpredictable. If, nevertheless, for some reason you want to do this, then you can try on a small strand. However, even if the result is successful, this does not mean that when dyeing all the hair, the same color will turn out, moreover, it may turn out to be uneven. This happens because the hair on different parts of the head reacts differently to chemical influences and will perceive natural dyes differently.

Uneven coloring can also occur when coloring gray hair, if areas of your own dark hair are preserved.

During the treatment of hair with a decoction of onion peel, it gets on the scalp. It will absorb the paint and also acquire the appropriate shade. It will be less noticeable because the skin is protected by a fatty layer, but still this moment worries some. You need to take it into account when dyeing hair at home. If you deviate from the roots, then they will not be painted over, and the view will not be so good. In such cases, you need to be as careful as possible or ask someone to help.

Regular use of a decoction of onion peel will help maintain the beauty and health of the hairstyle. The beneficial substances contained in it affect both the hair and the scalp. Thanks to this, not only the external condition of the hair improves, but also its entire structure. The hairstyle looks well-groomed and neat, the curls become silky and more obedient. If you want to get a natural shade of curls, then dyeing your hair with onion peel is one of the most suitable options. Try to do this taking into account the color and condition of your hair and the shade that you would like to get. When using natural dyes, it is impossible to harm the hair or ruin it, as when painting with chemicals, so such procedures can be safely carried out at home on your own.
