Paper rose flowers in a spiral. How to make a rose out of paper? Easily and quickly make a paper rose with your own hands

Greetings. Let's continue the topic. We recently made crafts, and today I want to create the queen of flowers - a rose. It looks very good in any interior and on any application.

It is often made to decorate gifts or holiday decor. For example, large voluminous roses can decorate a wedding, birthday or International Women's Day, and also become the main decor for a photo zone.

I have selected the most understandable master classes, following which step by step, you will definitely succeed. There are easy options that can be made with children, and there are more complex ones that need to be created carefully. But absolutely everything is doable, so let's get started.

I think that starting from school, most children have done origami at least once. Even in its simplest form, for example, they did or.

Making a flower is a little more difficult, but it is quite possible for both a schoolchild and an adult. Today I will share with you 4 step-by-step diagrams that show you step by step what needs to be done to make a rose.

So, the first diagram is in front of you. For it you need to take a square sheet, you can cut an A4 landscape page. I advise you not to use small sheets if you are just learning this technique.

The second diagram is incredibly detailed. She describes each step that needs to be done in order for you to get this flower.

Origami does not involve the use of glue and scissors. But in this case, we will need to make more beautiful leaves, so we will give them a little shape at the last stage.

The following diagram shows how to make a rose from modular origami. This option is interesting, but also more labor-intensive than the previous two. Also, each step is described in detail, which will be convenient for those who are just beginning to hone their skills in this technique.

I suggest you watch the video in which the master makes an unusual beauty that also curls up into a cube. This idea interested me, so I’m sharing it with you.

You can use not only colored sheets, but also newspapers.

Volumetric rose made of corrugated paper with a candy inside with a template

It is now popular to make wonderful sweets with a surprise from corrugated paper. The whole craft is wrapped around a candy. And most often such compositions are created for gifts. These roses look like real ones and are not very difficult to make.

I will give three instructions on how to make such beauties. They differ in the shape of the petals. By this I want to show that the chosen shape and size will greatly change the appearance of the flower.

In addition to corrugated, you can use crepe; it is also great for the techniques described. For one rose you need to cut three different petal shapes. The widest goes to the outer layers. And the narrowest ones create the middle and wrap the candy.

1. The necessary details are in front of you.

2. Each petal needs to be stretched in the middle and the edges should be curled with your fingers. They have already become like real ones.

3. We begin to wrap the candy.

To ensure that all layers adhere better, use hot glue to secure the bottom of the parts.

4. Layer by layer we apply the parts and fix the end of the bud with thread to keep the candy inside well. But this needs to be done by wrapping the bottom of the flower with wire or a kebab skewer. They will act as a stem for us.

This is what the result looks like from above.

6. Open the petals.

The next master class is very similar in the sequence of stages, but has a different shape of petals. Three sizes are also used here, but they all have the same shape.

I suggest trying to make flowers from unusually shaped parts.

There are two types of them used. One of which is a perky heart.

For one rose you need at least five petals; the more there are, the more fluffy and open it will be.

If you do it without candy, then immediately attach the first petal to the wire with hot glue.

We stretch all the parts a little in width, they become concave and we curl the edges to make them more similar to the real ones.

We begin to collect the bud. First we take narrow and then wide prepared parts.

For those who do not have professional materials for such products, I advise you to use the same crepe or corrugated paper to wrap the stem.

If you use several shades, you get bright and beautiful compositions.

To make the flower more realistic, select sheets of several shades of the same color, from dark to light, so you can create a natural gradient that all plants have.

How to make a paper flower with children?

The easiest way to make a craft with kids is to use napkins. They already have the required dimensions and are easy to roll and glue.

I offer an idea on how to quickly make a rose without glue.

Decorative napkins also provide several variations in how to fold the craft. The flowers turn out delicate and delicate.

Another simple option is to use a template. You draw a wavy spiral, cut along the outline and roll it, straightening each layer.

The same technique is shown below, but its difference is that the edges of the workpiece become frayed. They fold inward and thereby create a fluffy center.

Using the same spiral technique you can make slightly different flowers.

To do this, a template is drawn separately and cut along the lines. Do you see that the petals are more clearly defined here and there is a smooth edge?

Cut it along the contour.

And fold it from the end, correcting the outer petals.

You can finish the product with your fingers. The child will definitely be able to twist the part.

It is advisable to fill the bottom with hot glue so that the spiral does not unfold. This rose has the most beautiful and realistic petals than the results of previous versions using the spiral technique.

And one of the simplest options is to cut out a very ordinary spiral. Usually they start with this option, because it does not require any special skill at all.

I think that you liked the ideas and you will be able to create a beautiful decor.

For example, you can decorate a panel like this with flowers made using the techniques described above.

How to easily make a flower in five minutes with your own hands?

Incredibly beautiful buds can be made in just five minutes. And for this we will need corrugated paper again. We need a long strip five centimeters wide. The longer it is, the more blooming the flower you will get.

So, we bend the edge, turning it out a little, as in the photo.

We do this along the entire length of the strip.

And we begin to twist it.

Don't forget to fix the edges.

Another fun and quick idea is created from tissue paper. It is thin and translucent. But it allows you to make voluminous crafts.

1. We need a rectangle, centimeters long and 7 centimeters wide.

2. Fold it in half so that the edges match.

3.And wrap the resulting workpiece around your finger with the fold upward.

4. Secure the bottom with a stapler and straighten the layers.

5. We will need a lot of these buds.

What creative people can’t come up with! For example, make beauty out of egg trays. It’s both environmentally friendly and looks amazing. All instructions are shown in the diagram.

Another quick rose idea. True, it is more labor-intensive than the previous ones, but it will not take more than fifteen minutes for an adult.

If you don't have such shaped staplers, cut out the parts by hand. But such assistants are sold in most office supply stores. And the kids will definitely appreciate such a purchase.

We will need parts of the same size, but with different numbers of petals. Therefore, we take three parts and make cuts in each. For the first we only cut one line, for the second we cut out a petal, for the third we remove two.

Roll up each piece and cut off the bottom.

Glue each piece together and see if your result is similar to the image.

We form the center from the cut petal, attaching it to the wire. Then we insert this part into the trefoil, then into the middle blank.

The outermost will be the largest. We remember that all layers need to be secured so that the craft does not fall apart.

This option works well from thick sheets or cardboard. It will be especially beautiful if you take a sheet with texture or reliefs. By the way, all these options can be repeated from felt. If suddenly you have such a desire.

Master class on a large paper rose for beginners with diagrams

Popular now. They are made in different sizes, from standard to full size. These crafts are used to decorate photo studios, photo zones, decorate the interior, and simply give to each other.

This big beauty is made from crepe paper. Remember, above we looked at several options for petals that can be cut from corrugation? So, here we need heart-shaped parts.

The process is the same when creating ordinary flowers. We stretch each petal in width and bend the ends. A bud is assembled, around which layers of petals are glued.

For the stem, you can take a wire whose width corresponds to the volume of the bud. Of course, the thin one will not withstand it.

Here's a beauty for large spaces.

The craftswoman shows you the whole stage step by step. And it is almost the same as the previous one. But the details are many times greater.

All layers must be glued together, otherwise the petals simply won’t hold on under their own weight and will fall apart. You may need a whole pack of glue sticks because the parts are large.

Any woman can make such crafts. And then put your creation to decorate the hall or living room.

For large volumes, one roll may not be enough for you, so buy at least two of them.

Beautiful flower using quilling technique

Quilling has several directions. For example, there is laying out flat modules on the surface of the drawing. The results are bright and delicate compositions, but I will not describe this method today; it requires complete immersion in the technique. Today we will deal with a voluminous rose.

This option can be repeated with satin ribbons. You've probably already seen similar fabric flowers on brooches or other clothes. The sequence of actions is the same, but we use different material.

If you find it difficult to repeat the steps according to the scheme, then I suggest you watch the video in which the master shows how to fold the strip.

All the options I've given are beautiful and will help you out if you need to quickly decorate a gift or create decor for a holiday. And it’s also worth teaching children such wonderful creativity.

The rose is deservedly called the queen of the garden. The variety of its shapes and colors evokes delight and a desire to touch this miracle. Do you want to know how to make a rose from foamiran? In terms of grace, it is not inferior to the real one and will delight you with its unfading beauty for a long time.

Lush rose

Let's create a lush tea rose from foamiran, which can outshine any living flower.

For work, prepare:

  • foamiran (green and pastel);
  • scissors with sharp blades;
  • PVA glue;
  • glue gun;
  • wire No. 20 and No. 24;
  • acrylic paints;
  • polymer clay;
  • cardboard templates of leaves and petals;
  • imprint to create veins on leaves;
  • sponge;
  • iron;
  • pliers and wire cutters;
  • toothpick.
First of all, you need to draw templates of the petals and leaves of our future rose on cardboard. Also don't forget about the sepals.

Dimensions:
large petal - 5*6 cm;
small - 4*4, ;
leaf - 5*6, ;
sepal - 7*6.5 cm.

Let's start production
  1. Using a toothpick, trace the stencils onto a sheet of foamiran.

  2. Carefully cut out the blanks.

  3. Make a droplet of self-hardening polymer clay. This will be the base of the rose. If there is no clay, you can use cotton wool or foil. Try to roll the droplet as dense as possible. Bend a small loop at the end of the #20 wire with pliers and coat it with PVA glue. Insert the loop into the thick part of the base drop.

  4. To make the petals more realistic, tint them with acrylic paints or dry pastels. With a damp sponge, pick up a little paint and apply it on both sides of the workpiece. Shade the base of the petal with yellow paint, apply green paint on top, leaving some of the yellow unpainted. Color the edges of the petal red.

  5. Carefully place the petal on the heated iron. Then quickly fold the hot petal into an accordion shape.

  6. Twist the workpiece around the axis halfway several times, starting from the red edge. This will make it thinner and give it a more wavy look. This is a critical stage: the petals may accidentally tear, so it’s better to cut them out with a margin.

  7. Unroll the petal and use your two thumbs to form a convex shape.

  8. For greater realism, twist the red part of the petal into a tube on both sides as in the photo.

    As a result of all manipulations, you will get beautiful blanks.

  9. Now move on to the leaves. Place the workpiece on the hot iron. After this, press the sheet of paper firmly against the print so that the veins are imprinted. If you don’t have a special mold, You can press the veins with a toothpick or the blunt side of a knife.

  10. Stretch the edges of the leaf a little to make them wavy. This way the blank will turn out to be as realistic as possible.

  11. Heat the sepals on an iron and curl them like rose petals. Unscrew it and use your fingers to give it a little bulge.

  12. You can pick a rose. Place the petals at the same level.

    In the first row, use a glue gun to glue three small pieces.

  13. Trim the edges of the petals sticking out from the bottom. Then glue the petals from below, press them lightly, forming a dense bud.

  14. You can form a second row. It consists of 4 small petals. Stick them in a circle, each petal should half cover the previous one.

  15. Trim the bottom of 5 large petals a little.

  16. Form the third row from the trimmed blanks.

    Already at this stage a beautiful flower is obtained.

    Don't forget to glue the bottom of the petals.

  17. The fifth row consists of 7 large petals.

  18. Apply glue at two points on the base of the workpiece.

    Admire the result of the work.

  19. Glue the remaining petals in the same way in the last row (you should have 8 left, or 10 if you made spare petals). Make sure the bottom of the rose is neat. To do this, glue the bases of all the petals.

  20. Apply a bead of glue to the base of the rose and let it harden.

  21. Cut strips 0.5-0.7 mm wide from green foamiran.

  22. Cut the end of each ribbon diagonally. Wrap it tightly around #24 wire, after lubricating the tip with glue. Glue the sheet to the wire.

  23. When gluing the second leaf, hide traces of glue and wire under it.

  24. Carefully glue the sepal to the base of the rose.

  25. Wrap the foamiran ribbon tightly around the stem of the flower.

  26. Glue the leaves one at a time to the unwrapped pieces of wire.

  27. Wrap the foamiran around the wire and assemble a rosette of three leaves.

  28. Using a gun, glue the branches with leaves to the stem of the rose.

  29. We wrap the formed stem with a strip of foamiran, hiding all traces of glue.

The resulting beauty is breathtaking! Is not it? Make such a bush rose, place it in a beautiful jar or elegant pot - a unique element of interior decor is ready.

Peony option

If the previous method of forming a flower seemed too complicated to you, pay attention to this master class. By following the step-by-step instructions, you can create a beautiful peony rose.

Necessary materials:

  • foamiran (yellow, preferably two shades, and green);
  • sharp scissors;
  • glue gun;
  • wire;
  • thick hook;
  • ball on the handle;
  • thick foam rubber covered with dense, lint-free material.
The first step is to prepare the petals and leaves. You can use a cardboard template, or you can immediately cut them out of foamiran. A slight difference in the shapes and sizes of the blanks will only add realism to the product. We cut out 12 of the smallest petals in the main color and 6 in another shade of yellow. If you do everything only in yellow, it’s okay.

Now you can give the blanks a natural shape. Place all the petals, except the largest ones, one by one on a heated iron. Place the hot plastic piece on the foam rubber and press it in the middle with a hook.

Heat large petals in the same way, place them on foam rubber and roll them with force into a ball. If you don’t have such a ready-made tool, you can attach a large bead to a wooden skewer or knitting needle.

Place the sepal on a toothpick and place it on the iron. The tips of the petals should curve slightly.

We evaluate the result.

Take a thin wire. Cut 4 pieces, bend a small loop at the end of each.

Glue 3 small petals onto each wire. Their edges should face the same direction.

Now glue 4 petals of the following size onto these blanks.

Form the third layer by gluing 3 more petals onto each piece.

Twist the pieces in pairs.

Twist the resulting blanks again into one common center of the flower.

Glue the bottom in a circle, first 4 darker ones, and then light petals. Next, fix the largest ones, each new petal should half cover the previous one. Lastly, attach the sepals.

To make the flower more realistic, add small bright petals to the middle of the rose using a toothpick.

If you want to achieve perfection, you can slightly tint the edges of the petals with yellow (use dry pastel or acrylic paint).

The masterpiece is ready. You can add leaves to the rose, attach a pin to it and use it as a brooch, or glue it to a hairband. The choice is yours.

Wreath of small roses

If one rose doesn’t seem enough for you, you can collect a whole bouquet of them. Be patient - as a result of simple but painstaking work, you will get a gorgeous headband of unopened rose buds.

Prepare materials:

  • foamiran for flowers and leaves;
  • thin wire for roses and thicker wire for the base of the wreath;
  • wire cutters and pliers;
  • glue gun;
  • green tape;
  • nail scissors;
  • quick-drying glue;
  • optional - print for leaves and paint for petals.
You can choose the color of the roses at your discretion. Cut out petal blanks approximately 1.5 cm long at the rate of 6-8 pieces per flower. You can tint them for more realistic coloring.

Place the petals one by one on an iron heated to 100 degrees, then twist them around their axis. Then straighten the blanks and form bulges with your fingers.

Cut the thin wire into pieces of 4-5 centimeters. Bend a loop at the end of each. Using a gun, coat the petal with glue and wrap it tightly around the wire.

Wrap the second petal around the first, glue the third in the same way.

Add further petals, placing them at the same level. As the bud grows, glue the blanks less tightly. The photo shows a finished rose of 8 petals.

Cut out leaves and sepals from green foamiran. Make small notches along the edges of each pattern.

Heat the sepals on an iron and twist. After heating, immediately press the leaves onto the print to create a relief. You can simply press out the veins with a toothpick.

This result is worth the effort.

String a sepal onto the wire with the bud and secure it with glue from a gun. Secure the leaves to the wire using quick-drying glue.

Similarly, continue making small closed roses from foamiran. Their exact number depends on the volume and collection pattern of the desired rim.

To form a wreath, attach blanks with roses to thick wire, securing them with tape. The type of finished product depends only on your desire.

You can complement the composition with white or contrasting large roses.

Make loops at the ends of the wreath and thread a ribbon through them to adjust the size, or simply connect the ends of the wire. Your shiny accessory is ready.

Small unopened bud

If you want to try your hand, but starting with large projects is scary, take note of a simplified method for creating roses. In this MK, the tools and materials are similar to the previous versions, and you will make the base of the flower from ordinary foil.

The result of the work is a closed, goblet-shaped bud that will decorate a hairpin, barrette or hair tie.

Beautiful rose in step-by-step pictures

For novice florists, another method for creating realistic, beautiful roses will be useful. They turn out lush, and you can vary their size at your discretion.

The rose is rightfully considered the queen of flowers - neither adults nor children can resist its beauty. Therefore, these flowers, made from various materials - plasticine, modeling mass, salt dough and, of course, are often used to decorate crafts and make souvenirs.

If you know how to make a rose from, you can decorate a variety of products with your own hands. Let's look at a few simple options for making it.

Paper spiral rose

The first option is so simple that even a child can cope with the task. All you need is a simple pencil, a little glue and a CD.

The disc is traced in a circle onto a piece of paper.

The resulting circle is cut along the contour.

A spiral line is drawn from the edge of the circle to the center. Even if it doesn’t turn out to be particularly even, that’s okay, rose petals aren’t particularly symmetrical either.

The sheet is cut along the drawn lines, turning into a spiral.

This spiral is neatly twisted into a tube.

The edges of the rose unfold. Glue it to the disk. Several green leaves are cut out of green paper and glued to the disk. Ready!

Rose made from wavy paper spiral

The second option on how to make a rose out of colored paper differs from the first only in that after obtaining a spiral, one of its edges is given a wave-like shape.

In this case, the workpiece turns out to be more magnificent and openwork.

Otherwise, everything happens according to the same pattern as in the first case: the spiral rolls into a tube.

The tube is inserted into the hole of the disk, to which two green leaves are glued. The result is a more neat, but in its own way very beautiful rose.

Rose made of corrugated paper and wire

To bring to life another way of making a rose out of paper, you need to stock up on a corrugated sheet and thin wire that holds its shape well.

We cut out a fairly long and wide strip from the sheet.

We take the wire in our hands and carefully unwind it.

Winding paper onto wire

We continue to twist the paper.

All that remains is to twist it in a spiral and fluff the top edge even more. We twist the lower part well and fix it with a piece of wire, a drop of glue or thread. We get a lush rose head.

We cut out leaves from the corrugated sheet and glue them to the flower cup.

You can decorate any rose with this rose, or you can use it to make a bouquet. All you need to do is attach a stem to the flower head, which can be made from a kebab stick or a cocktail tube, wrapped in green adhesive tape or a green paper sheet.

Rose on a stem made of corrugated paper

A beautiful rose on a stem is made from colored corrugated paper. To do this, cut out two squares from corrugated paper and fold them in half. We twist one of the strips.

We wrap the twisted strip with a second strip of corrugated paper. We fix the paper at the base with threads.

We wrap the resulting bud in green paper.

We wrap the paper until we get a flower stem.

Cut out a leaf from green paper and glue it to the stem. A voluminous rose made of corrugated paper is ready!

You can make a whole bouquet of roses as a gift!

Rolled paper rose applique

Simple rose made from paper rectangles

One of the easiest ways to make a rose is to make it from paper rectangles. We cut rectangles from thin paper and stack them one on top of the other.

Take a stack of rectangles and round off their ends on both sides. In the central part we make cuts on both sides.

At the place of the cut we tie the rectangles with a thread. We straighten the paper - the delicate rose is ready!

With allergic reactions rampant, now not everyone can afford to keep fresh flowers in the house. And they need special care, and it’s not easy for a busy person to find time for this. And, sometimes, you really want to decorate your house with bright flowers. And DIY paper roses will help with this problem.
There are several ways to quickly and beautifully make such flowers.

Paper roses collected by petals

This version of the flower is assembled like a construction set. To make it you will need paper, colored on both sides. You need two colors - the one that is needed for the flower itself and for the leaves. You will also need scissors and glue.
First, you need to draw petals and whole inflorescences on colored paper, and also draw leaves separately on a green sheet. You will need at least seven petals and inflorescences.

Afterwards, the petals and leaves of the future rose need to be cut out of paper. To make the flower look as much like a rose as possible, the ends of the petals are bent using scissors. The green leaves bend slightly in half lengthwise.
Now you can start assembling the flower. Taking the first petal, twist it to form the middle of the inflorescence. It is easier to twist it around a thin stick or toothpick. After twisting, the petal is fixed with glue.
The next two petals are wrapped alternately and slightly loosely around the first and are also secured with glue.
Large inflorescences are slightly bent like cones and glued to the blank with petals.
All that remains is to glue the stem to the bottom of the flower, and green leaves on it, and the rose is ready.

Corrugated paper rose

To make this rose you will need corrugated paper, a stapler and scissors. You can start by practicing on napkins.
The simplest version of this rose is made in literally five minutes.

You need to cut a circle out of paper with a diameter of 7-10 cm. It may not be perfectly smooth, with slightly wavy edges.
Now the workpiece is folded into a small bag so that a small loop remains in its narrow part.
Approximately halfway through the workpiece, you need to fasten it with a stapler, and then turn the flower completely inside out. The narrow part of the bag will become the center of the flower, and the wide part will become its outer petals.
To prevent the center of the flower from being flattened, it can be expanded with a pencil.
By making several of these roses, you can create a whole bouquet in a few minutes.
To do this, you need to attach stems to the flowers. They are also made from corrugated paper. You need to take a strip of the required length and width of 2.5 - 3 cm. Fold it in four, and cut off the sharp corners at the end.
Now the strip can be twisted into a flagellum until the cuts are made, and the resulting leaves can be bent down. The stem is glued to the flower.

To make a more magnificent paper rose with your own hands, you need to increase the number of layers of paper and experiment with the size of the blanks. You can take several paper circles with a diameter of 10-11 cm (preferably no more than four), make wavy edges on them and stretch them a little. These circles need to be placed on top of each other with a shift, and then fastened as described above. You will get a large and lush rose.

Spiral paper rose

This method of producing roses from paper can also compete in speed. To make such a flower, you will need a square of thick paper (but not cardboard) of a suitable color and size 15 by 15 cm. Later, you will decide what size roses you need and can change the size of the workpiece.

You will also need scissors, dried branches of any tree and glue.
To begin with, on a blank square you need to draw a spiral with a number of turns of no more than six and a width of turns of at least 2 cm. Then along these lines you need to cut this spiral evenly and carefully.

We take the spiral from the outer end and begin to tightly twist the rosebud until the end of the material. Glue the tip of the spiral to the bud. The rose is ready and all that remains is to make a leaf for it, which is cut out of green paper and glued to the branch. The bud itself is placed on this branch. Although such a bud can be used to decorate a gift box and then the stem will not be needed.

Pink bud with candy

A pink bud with a surprise in the form of a candy can be a lovely gift or simply help decorate a candy vase in an unconventional way.

To make it you will need a round candy in a wrapper, a piece of gold foil about 10 by 10 cm, two pieces of rose-colored corrugated paper and one piece of green corrugated paper, all measuring 7 by 7 cm.
The candy will be the center of the flower, so it needs to be wrapped tightly in golden foil so that the tail of the foil rests on the tail of the candy wrapper. You can fasten them with golden thread.
Now two sheets of paper for the rose need to be placed on top of each other with an indentation of about 1 cm. The ends of these sheets need to be rounded to make pink petals. And the paper itself can be slightly bent round, giving the shape of real petals.
Now the resulting petals can be shifted around the candy in foil and the resulting bud can be secured at the candy tail with gold thread.
To cover this mount, you need to cut out something like a sharp fence from a green sheet of paper. This is a preparation for the sepals. A pink bud is wrapped in it and carefully secured with glue.
To make a flower stem, you can cut a long strip 3 cm wide from green corrugated paper and begin to wind it from the sepals down. The end must be secured with glue. The candy rose is ready.
You can make a whole bouquet of these buds as a gift for someone with a sweet tooth.

Good afternoon. Today I want to show you the fastest ways to create paper roses. And give ready-made diagrams and templates for do-it-yourself paper roses. We will start with the fastest ways (that even a child can do) - that is, the lesson is suitable for kindergarten teachers and primary school teachers. And then we’ll move on to more complex techniques for making paper roses. You will also find here workshops on making large roses from paper, suitable for decorating holidays and wedding ceremonies.

Let's start making paper roses with your own hands. But first, let’s make a small digression and see what practical application your future rose crafts will find.

Paper roses

For all occasions.

Paper roses can decorate your gift wrapping. Moreover, you can make your own cardboard packaging with your own hands. Below I give a drawing of a box in the form of a piece of cake with paper rose cream.

You can use paper roses to serve the table at a romantic dinner, anniversary, or wedding.

Paper roses can become part of the festive decor at a wedding. Roses can become a bride's bouquet. Such a bouquet will be nice to keep for the friend who caught it.

You can give a bouquet of such roses to your loved ones and friends. Wrap it in music paper and decorate it with dew drops from ordinary Soviet SILICATE GLUE.

You can decorate a wall in your house with them or decorate a holiday. Run a wire along the wall and tie paper roses and leaves onto it.

THREE FAST WAYS

Make a rose out of paper.

For those who are in a hurry, at the very beginning of the article I include the three fastest ways to make a rose with your own hands from paper. These methods already have stencil templates. You need to quickly trace, cut and assemble the rose.

The first method is to string layers of rose petals onto string (or wire). Each layer is 2 petals (opposite in vector). Between them in the central roundel there is a hole made with a hole punch.

Here's the diagram. You can place a piece of paper directly on your monitor screen. The diagram will be visible on the surface of the sheet. Quickly trace the outline with a pencil. Cut them out - and now you have the blanks in your hands.

Now you need to do:

  • 3 pieces of the first size,
  • 2 pieces of the second size,
  • 2 pieces of the third size,
  • and the middle part (No. 4).

I drew the middle part small, it didn’t fit on the diagram– you can leave it like this, or you can increase it. You can draw it yourself - in fact, it is an ordinary snail, one side of which looks like petals drawn by hand. Draw a spiral, snails, and then outline it with petal arches.

Or you can enlarge it on the screen MPa - to do this, press and hold the Ctrl key with one hand, and with the other hand, rotate the mouse wheel away from you (this will make the picture enlarge a little) - achieve the desired degree of magnification - and trace this enlarged part onto a sheet of paper.

By the way, you can tint the details with watercolors, walk through the browns of the petals - so that the rose has shades and halftones. This way it will look more natural.

The diagram for assembling a paper rose is shown in the photo below.

Step 1. First we string it onto the hole three big parts– we move them relative to each other so that the petals spread out in a circle. And we fix it with glue, glue the round middle parts of the part together.

Step 2. Then we string 2 pieces of second size– cross to cross, petals on 4 sides.

Step 5. On top of the glued rope we place our snail spiral, which can be slightly twisted in your hands and wrapped so that it fits into a petal twist.

Step 6 On top of this twist draw the center of the rose with a marker. Or glue bead. Or cut any paper stamen. Or roll it up crumpled piece of colored paper and insert like a paper bead in the center. That is, use what you have on hand.

Terry paper rose.

You can also take any shape of petals and also change their size to get a template for a new rose with your own hands. Here stencils for shaggy roses with uneven edges of paper petals.

Lush rose with rounded petals.

Here in the picture I painted over the petals specifically- as a hint that you can make a rose in which the color of the center smoothly flows to the edges - from dark pink to light pink, as happens with some varieties of natural roses.

You can increase the size of the template by pressing the Ctrl button on your keyboard and rolling the mouse wheel away from you (or towards you to make it smaller).

And then place a sheet of paper on the screen and trace the translucent design with a pencil.

2 ways to make a rose

Made from crepe paper

We cut the paper into rectangles. Then we place these rectangles on top of each other with their corners (as in the figure below). Each time we put a drop of glue under the bottom - so that in this linear installation all the parts are glued to each other at the corners. As a result, we got a toothed tape.

In the photo, this rose contains candy inside. But this is optional. You can use a ball of crumpled paper. And so, around this lump we begin to wrap our jagged tape. As a result, we received a bud.

Now we need another toothed belt - but from semicircular parts. Tape with rounded teeth. We wrap the bud with this rounded ribbon of petals - and we get a plump, lush paper rose.

Here's another quick way to make a rose using crepe paper.

We fold the papers into even wide folds - so that they do not move relative to each other, we fasten them with a stapler.

We cut out a petal from this fold - large, medium, small - we get a pack of petals of each size.

We make blanks from green crepe paper.

We make a cocoon around the wire from a strip of crepe paper. When the cocoon is thick, we begin to shape the petals - we spread each one with glue in the lower part.

We start with small ones, move to medium ones and end with large ones. We get a lush paper rose from crepe corrugated paper.

As you can see, a rose is also quickly and easily obtained. A good way for those who have stocked up on crepe paper.

From the manner of arranging rose petals, and it depends on their shape, what kind of rose you will get. Here in the photo below we see roses, also created in the same way– but they look a little different. Because the shape of the petals is different.

In nature, there are a variety of roses - you can see that they differ in the shape of their petals. You too can develop your own varieties of roses from crumpled paper. If each petal is crushed, squeezed at its top, then we will get a new rose bud, a half-closed, rumpled terry variety.

Well, now let's move on to the painstaking techniques of creating a paper rose. There will be more complex, less fast ways to make a paper rose. But this is only for the first time. Once you gain experience, you will be able to twist such roses with closed hands - quickly and without fuss.

Paper rose

FROM TWISTED STRIP.

If you take an ordinary STRAIGHT strip of paper, you can wrap it in a rose. Just start wrapping it around the toothpick. First we make the winding with a regular roll. And then we continue to wrap the paper tape around itself with a TWIST.

That is, the tape simply twists - with an oblique bend. We make twists as we wrap the ribbon around the stick.

Take any unnecessary sheet of paper (draft) right now, cut a strip and try to twist it like this. Practice a couple of evenings - and one day you will figure out exactly how to twist the ribbon in the BEAUTIFUL way - how often to make twist turns, at what angle.

And also – using the same technique – you can also fold a rose from a straight strip of CREPE PAPER. Fold the long strip carelessly along in half. And wrap it around the base stick in the same way. It will work out lush delicate paper rose.

Ball-trees in a pot are decorated with such roses. A foam ball is covered with crepe roses and stuck into a pin sticking out of a flower pot.

Here is a rose twisted from a red and green napkin. Fast and easy.

Paper rose

SPIRAL METHOD

(and 4 of its varieties)

You can take not direct strip of paper - and spiral paper strip. And then we will get a new rose model. Like this one.

But this model is complex - it’s a bit difficult to twist and glue it. There is nothing for ordinary pva glue to cling to - although it works, you need to hold it with your hands for a long time. It is best to use glue from a hot gun in this model - then the work will go faster.

Here is a master class that shows how to make such a rose from paper. On a sheet of cardboard we draw a spiral-snail. Cut it out. And we begin to twist it around the stick. PLEASE NOTE the twisting does not start from the middle end - but from the edge.

This method of making a paper rose there are modifications- that is, slightly modified options. Let's look at them.

Modification of the spiral method No. 1 – PEAL.

We start twisting and assembling the rose in exactly the same way - not from the central edge of the spiral - but from the outer edge.

The arches of the petals on such a spiral rose DO NOT HAVE TO BE ROUND. You yourself can change the shape of the edge and get new varieties of paper roses.

For example, here is a template with jagged Jagged EDGES of pink petals. Or a rose with a sharp petal.

Modification of the spiral method No. 2 – SQUARE.

And here another modification of this method make a rose out of paper. Here our spiral is not round - but square - and even with uneven edges. And this is the rose that comes out of it. Uneven as if alive, recently blossomed wild Rose.

Modification of the spiral method No. 3 – ADDITIONAL PETALS

And here is a spiral rose, which is pasted around the edges with lush convex petals.

Step 1. Making a spiral rose. This will be the middle of our future lush rose.

Step 2. We prepare flat petals - 4 pieces of each size (small, medium, large).

Step 3. Cut each petal at the bottom. And we place the edges of the cut on top of each other, on the glue. This is how the petals become convex.

Step 4. Cover the rose with petals, first smaller ones, then larger ones.

Modification of the spiral method No. 4 – LACE

And instead of a spiral shape, you can take a ROUND one. And also roll the round strip into a rose.

And to make it more elegant, you can take this round strip from a lace paper napkin, as in the photo below.

You can also cut the same rose not from paper - but from felt, or even from a fluffy washcloth.

PAPER ROSES

From toilet paper rolls.

Here is a master class where a rose is made from recycled cardboard.

Step 1. A six-petal template is cut out of plain paper using the snowflake method. That is, we fold a square sheet as for a snowflake and cut it in a semicircle). We unfold it and get a flower.

Step 2. Cut the toilet paper rolls, flatten them on a wet towel - press them, then dry them

Step 3. We transfer the template to the sleeve paper - then we roll up the rose. The first layer is in a tight bud. We design the other layers as lush rose petals made of paper.

ROSES FROM PAPER

SNOWFLAKE method.

I called this method a snowflake because the beginning of creating such a rose coincides with the beginning of cutting out a snowflake from paper. Here you also need to fold a sheet of paper into four, and then into a triangle. And cut out a semicircular module from it - when you unfold it, you get an octagonal flower.

Cut out 4 octagonal flowers. These will be 4 tiers of our future rose. Each tier needs to be changed.

  • In the upper tier we remove 4 petals with scissors (4 remain)
  • In the second tier we remove 3 petals (5 remain)
  • In the third tier we remove 2 petals (6 remain)
  • In the fourth lower tier of the rose, remove 1 petal (7 remain)

Now you need to glue these trimmed flowers into cups - to do this, we place one marginal petal on the second marginal petal - with glue. We get cups - 2 petals, 4 petals, 5 petals, 6 petals.

We bend the petals of each cup using a round pencil. We put the cups on each other. At the bottom we glue a green paper bottom to them - they are attached to it with glue.

We fold the leaves into a fan. Forming a flower.

And using exactly the same method you can make a rose from the same roll of toilet paper.

In this way you can create any type of paper rose. With torn petals, with round petals, with pointed ones.

Large paper rose

TECHNIQUE OF INDIVIDUAL PETALS.

You can make a large rose - where each petal is the size of an A4 sheet. We buy colored office paper – a whole pack. We cut the petals into different sizes. We make each petal convex - for this we make a cut in its lower part with scissors - and glue the sides of the cut overlapping each other.

Then we collect the colors on a round paper base. We cut a folded sheet of paper into a fringe - and roll it into a roll - YOU RESULT IN A stamen of a rose.

Depending on the shape of the petals, you can get different shapes of paper roses. Below you can see how your imagination can create new pink flowers.

The same color of paper can create an interesting composition of roses if all the flowers are of different shapes and sizes.

Here are some ready-made templates for such large paper roses. YOU can come up with your own petal shapes. And see what comes of it in the end.

In such roaa it is not necessary to make a TWICE STAMINA. Can be done spiral rose center(lesson earlier in this article).

Or you can make the middle in the form of a DENSE BUD. In the master class below we see just such a rose. And you can see How exactly is such a boot assembled? it is made of a cross-shaped petal shape . Each side has a cross and rises up and crumples into a bud.

You can make a large rose for a beautiful photo portfolio. Buy a pack of pink office paper and collect your own unique paper rose - so big and lush.

And from the scraps of this office paper make the roses smaller. They can decorate a holiday table. Or paste over the mirror frame. Use as decor on gift wrapping. You can also make an artificial bouquet from these paper roses.

Moreover no matter what shape you have leftover scraps of paper. To make such a rose, it is not necessary to take petals of a SYMMETRICAL SHAPE. You can twist a rose from irregularly shaped petals.

Cut it out three petals in the shape of a heart(these will be the edge petals). We cut each of them at the bottom - and put the cuts overlapping each other - on glue.

And then we glue such convex petals to each other.

Three other half-shaped petals– we roll them into a roll – on top of each other. We glue the roll into the middle of our first three petals using strips of paper. We get a rose.

These are the ideas for paper roses that I have collected in this article. Now you have become an expert in this matter - and you understand perfectly well that you can do all this with your own skillful hands. So get down to business and let your world bloom with lush roses of happiness.

Happy paper roses.
