How to make a triangle bookmark from paper diagram. How to make a paper bookmark in the shape of a bunny for a book with your own hands

Each of us has been familiar with origami since childhood. Many people cut out snowflakes from paper or made interesting animals and all kinds of firecrackers. When we do something with our own hands, it brings us a very exciting mood. How many different things can be made from paper.

Today there are many different paper origami designs that anyone can make. These can be various individual objects, or they can be quite complex compositions from various individual components.

Many of us have encountered the problem of remembering a page in a book. Sometimes just memorizing a page is not enough. This is where a bookmark will come to the rescue.

Of course, you can buy such bookmarks in a store and not have to think about it. But still, it’s best to make an original bookmark for books yourself. It will not only serve as a bookmark, but also as a stylish accessory to the book.

How to make an origami bookmark

Nowadays you can find anything you want on the Internet. Many sites that fill the network have not avoided questions about origami.

Here you can find various patterns for folding bookmarks. This will be very helpful for those who first decided to make a paper bookmark on their own. You can find exactly what will undoubtedly suit you and will delight you when you open the book.

Let's now try to make a simple origami paper bookmark for beginners in the shape of a heart. The assembly of such a thing is quite simple, so even a child can handle it. And for those who like to read, it will be quite practical and original.

To make it we need a square sheet of paper. Any color will do, but the main thing is that it folds easily. Fold this sheet in half twice. Then we unbend. We did this to find the middle of the sheet.

We bend the bottom edge of our sheet towards the middle. We turn the sheet over with the back side and make triangular edges. Again you need to turn the sheet over and also make a triangle, but on the reverse side.

Using your finger, open the triangle tabs and press them. Then we bend the corners of the triangles inward and form our heart and that’s it, our bookmark is ready.

With its help, you will quickly find the page you need and can start reading at any time. You can also combine this bookmark with other origami to create more complex things.

Origami animals

Almost all of us love various animals. Everyone has some kind of pet at home. But there are some animals that cannot be kept at home due to their aggressiveness, or someone may be allergic to their fur. This is where paper bookmarks in the shape of original animal faces will help us.

Below are instructions on how to make such an origami bookmark in the form of animals. Here you can fantasize as much as you like and make exactly the bookmark you want.

It could be a bookmark in the shape of a cat, or maybe you want to make something exotic. Then a bookmark in the shape of a panda or zebra will certainly be suitable for you. Everything is in your hands, you just need to get down to business and everything will work out.

Cat bookmark

Now we will try to make a paper bookmark in the shape of a cat. To make it we will need a square sheet of paper. You can make any color for it. This bookmark requires a lot of patience and skill.

First, fold the sheet diagonally for ease of work. We fold the corners to a horizontal line; for ease of work, you can open a photo of origami bookmarks on the Internet. We will also fold the remaining corners towards the center of the product.

After this, we can move on to the next stage of making the bookmark. To do this, the sharp nose must be bent twice inward and outward. Then you should fold the figure in half.

We need to open and level one of the parts. Our product is almost ready. There are only a few details left to do. We make the tail by bending the finished part outward. We make a muzzle and draw eyes for him. That's it, our origami bookmark in the shape of a cat is ready.

Any book lover will love this bookmark. It will look very nice on the end of the book, and can help you quickly find the right page. And if you add a few other paper products to it, you get an excellent composition.

As you can understand, you can make anything from paper. All you need is patience and a little time to understand all the details in detail. More complex compositions and figures are also made with the help of origami.

On the Internet you can find various master classes on folding bookmarks. These may not necessarily be complex compositions, but rather simple figures.

With their help, you can learn more about their step-by-step manufacturing stages and all the nuances of this matter. Try, experiment and, undoubtedly, soon you will be able to do something that you especially like.

Photo of origami bookmarks

Gadgets and electronic media are slowly replacing printed books, but reading them is still a favorite hobby for many, and for some a good way to “kill” time in transport, in line, or at a boring job. When you close a book, you often forget where you left off, so bookmarks come to the rescue. You can make them yourself.

Origami corner

Materials:

  • colored paper (mostly double-sided);
  • single-color paper (white and black);
  • simple pencil, scissors, glue, ruler;
  • red ribbon (width 0.6 centimeters, length – 10 centimeters);
  • lighter.

On colored paper, draw a square 16 centimeters by 16 centimeters and cut it out.

The size of the square can be made larger or smaller.

For the inside of the bookmark you will need a black square, which will be ¼ of the outer square. For a more convenient calculation, we recommend cutting out a square of black paper 16 centimeters by 16 centimeters, and then cutting it into 4 equal parts.

We cut out a rectangle measuring 8 centimeters by 3 centimeters from white paper, and cut out teeth (sharp or wavy) in the middle.

To make eyes for “Monsters,” you can take any color of paper, trace a ruble coin, then cut it out.

We make pupils of any color and assemble the eyes.

  1. Take a square sheet of colored paper of any color.
  2. We fold it diagonally, then along the long edge - in half.
  3. We turn the left and right sides in turn, first forward, then perpendicularly down.
  4. The left side of these corners must be turned up to the middle.
  5. Using the same principle, you need to bend the top flap of the sheet.
  6. The top flap must be bent inward.
  7. Then we bend both sides of the folded corners.
  8. All parts are tucked in and should form a compact diamond with a pocket.
  9. We carefully go through all the folds with a ruler so that they are clear.
  10. Inside this blank we place the black previously prepared square.
  11. Glue the square into the pocket.
  12. Glue the teeth to the top of the yellow blank.
  13. Glue the eyes to the top of the yellow sheet.
  14. We take a red ribbon, make a forked tongue at one end and glue it to the “Monster”.
  15. We scorch the ribbon over the fire so that it does not lint during further use.

From leaves

Materials:

  • pre-dried leaves (autumn or green, they should not be too brittle or old);
  • double sided tape;
  • transparent plastic.

You need to cut two identical strips out of plastic, sticking tape on each.

Then we place and glue the leaves onto the tape. We place a second strip on top of the leaves.

The protruding edges of the leaves must be trimmed.

The perimeter of the bookmark can be sewn with threads so that it does not delaminate.

From paper clips

Materials

  • paper clips;
  • glue gun;
  • any decorative elements (feathers, buttons, beads, rhinestones, etc.).

Manufacturing depends on the flight of your imagination: simply secure the decorative elements with a glue gun on a paper clip. Let the glue dry and you are ready to use the bookmark.

Spider

You will need:

  • crochet hook (preferably from number 2 to 3.5);
  • threads of any color.

We weave a web:

  1. You need to cast on 5 air loops. Then you need to form a ring; to do this, we knit a connecting post into the first loop.
  2. Row No. 1: make three lifting chain stitches to form a new row. We knit 15 double crochets around the ring, then a connecting stitch into the very top lifting loop. He will be the sixteenth.
  3. Row No. 2: cast on three air loops, then you need to knit 1 double crochet in the same loop, then 2 air loops, and skip the next one. We knit 2 double crochets, 2 chain stitches and skip one again. By repeating this pattern, we complete the row. At the end of this row, we knit a connecting stitch into the upper air lifting loop. As a result, we have 16 double crochets and 8 arches of two air loops.
  4. Row No. 3: we make 4 chain stitches, in the next double crochet we knit a new double crochet, then 3 chain stitches, we knit a double crochet in the next stitch. We do the same until the end of the row.
  5. We complete the row with three chain stitches and knit a connecting stitch into the top chain stitch. As a result, we have 16 double crochets, 3 arches from three air loops and 8 arches from one air loop.

We weave a cord from the web:

The lace from the web to the spider is knitted with air loops, approximately 53 pieces.

Making a spider:

  1. We knit a half double crochet into the second chain (from the hook) (chain loops of the lace).
  2. In the next 5 loops we knit a half double crochet. So we got 6 half-columns.
  3. First leg: turn the work over, knit 9 chain stitches, then knit a connecting stitch into the second chain loop from the hook, and also knit connecting stitches into the remaining seven. There should be 8 connecting posts
  4. Second foot: we knit a connecting stitch into the first half-stitch, then 9 chain stitches, then a connecting stitch into the second chain stitch from the hook, we knit connecting stitches into the next 7 loops. As a result, we have 8 connecting posts.
  5. Third leg: we knit a connecting stitch into the next half-stitch, then we will need to knit 9 chain stitches. In the second loop from the hook we knit a connecting stitch, then 7 connecting stitches, there should be 8 of them.
  6. Fourth leg: we start from the connecting column to the next half-column. We continue to work with nine chain loops, then knit a connecting stitch into the second chain loop from the hook and 7 chain loops into the next loops. This resulted in 8 connecting posts. In the same loop from which we started knitting the 4th foot, we knit a connecting post.

We knit the spider's head:

Make a single crochet in the next 3 half-dcs. Next, we knit 3 single crochets from one loop. Then we knit a single crochet into the first 5 half-stitches on the other side.

We make paws:

First you need to turn the knitting over and do the remaining 4 legs in the same way as the 4 described above.

At the end of the work, you need to hide the ends. If you wish, you need to sew or glue eyes on the spider. To get a stable shape, you need to place it under a press for a while.

From paper scrapbook

You will need:

  • kraft paper (density of at least 270 grams per 270 square meters);
  • scrapbook paper (1 sheet);
  • various decorations;
  • yarn for tassel;
  • 1 eyelet;
  • curly scissors.

To begin, cut out a rectangle measuring 6 centimeters by 17 centimeters from craft paper; this will be the basis for the bookmark. Cut out a strip of 5 centimeters by 16 centimeters from scrapbooking paper. We place a smaller rectangle on the base; it can be secured with glue or sewn on a typewriter. Then, using glue and decorations, we create a composition.

Making a brush:

  1. We cut small pieces of yarn (the more of them, the fluffier our tassel will be).
  2. The threads must be folded evenly, then folded in half.
  3. We thread a thread through the resulting hole in the middle. You need to tie the bun with another thread and tie a knot.
  4. Another strong knot needs to be tied on the threaded thread.
  5. If the ends of the brush are uneven, they can be trimmed with scissors.
  6. Using a hole punch, we make a hole at the top of the bookmark, insert a grommet there and attach our tassel.

Snake

We will need:

  • any yarn (at least three colors);
  • crochet hook (from 1.5 to 2 millimeters).

Progress:

  1. For the snake's tail you need to cast on 50 air loops. We will start each row with 8-10 single crochets. We knit the rest with a double crochet.
  2. For the second row, take a yarn of a different color and knit it with a single crochet, and knit the third row with a third color with a double crochet.
  3. For the fourth row, take the same color of yarn as the first and knit it in the same way.

Making the muzzle:

  1. For it you will need two colors of yarn of the same color scheme, but different shades. The lower part will be lighter, the upper part will be darker. You need to cast on 8 air loops (from light yarn) and knit a row with a double crochet. The same chain must be tied from below.
  2. At the “turns” of our oval, 2 stitches should be knitted from one. We knit half of the oval, increasing the lower part.
  3. From dark yarn we knit 4 rows with a double crochet, increasing the upper part.
  4. We embroider hair, smile, eyes and tongue with threads.
  5. We make eyes from a blister of tablets or plastic (cardboard).
  6. The upper body must be sewn with thread to create a thin neck.
  7. Sew on the head and the snake is ready.

Flower

We will need:

  • yarn (2 shades of green, white, blue);
  • Crochet hook.

Progress:

  1. Take the blue yarn and cast on 5 air loops, connecting them into a ring.
  2. We knit the ring with ten single crochets using white thread.
  3. Then we knit everything with a single crochet using white yarn. After that, from every second column you need to knit 2 single crochets.
  4. To make petals you need to cast on 8 air loops.
  5. From the cast-on loops we knit double crochets, and then 3 single crochets.
  6. We knit the remaining petals in a similar way (their number will depend on the single crochets in the previous row).
  7. All petals along the edge must be tied in a single crochet with matching threads. And the next row is in a different color.
  8. For the sepals, on the back side of the flower, in a circle of petals, we knit 12 single crochets with green yarn.
  9. We knit each subsequent row by skipping 4-5 stitches until there is only one left.
  10. We do not cut the thread, but collect from it the required number of air loops for the stem (the length of the bookmark should be approximately 20-25 centimeters). Then we tie the stem with a single crochet, leaving a few loops in front of the flower itself. Cut the thread.
  11. We knit a leaf of any shape and size, do not break the thread, but tie it with a single crochet along the stem from the place where we stopped and to the sepal. Then we break the thread and hide the tip in the sepal.
  12. If desired, you can tie the stem with dark green threads and make veins.

Not a single child can do without a bookmark. If he is still a preschooler, then before going to bed he always reads fairy tales with his mother or grandmother. And the last page must be marked - that’s why you’ll need such a thing as Paper braid bookmark . Schoolchildren cannot get by with one bookmark, because they have many textbooks, as well as books for extracurricular reading. And you can model wonderful bright bookmarks yourself from paper or other materials. This lesson shows a version of a two-color braided bookmark, which can be woven from paper strips using a special technique.

Let's look at how to do this step by step.

To create a bright braid bookmark, prepare:

- red and green two-color paper;

— scissors, a ruler and a pencil (if you have quilling paper, then these tools are not needed);

- thin satin ribbon, gold lace or textured rope;

- two beads;

How to make a paper bookmark with your own hands

We recommend that you make a bookmark using contrasting colors of paper to make it unusual and elegant. If you have thin strips of quilling paper, then take 4 strips - 2 strips of each color. Cut 2 thin strips from large A4 sheets. Using a ruler and pencil, draw the lines, then cut out according to the template. The width can be 1 cm and the length can correspond to the long side of an A4 sheet.

Prepare 2 pairs of strips for work. These are the main blanks.

Glue the first pair of strips at right angles. Apply a bead of glue to the very end of the strip. Align the second strip, carefully adhering to the corners, press down on top with your fingers.

Next to the top strip, glue the first green one, attach it clearly to the red part, and also strictly maintain a right angle.

Glue the second green strip on top with an overlap, aligning the edge with the edge of the workpiece.

Bend the right red stripe to the left so that the sides of the parts clearly align.

When you reach the end, glue the ends together.

Prepare a thin satin ribbon and beads for the tassels.

Make a hole in the upper corner with scissors or an awl, insert a ribbon into it, and tie it in a knot. String beads onto the ends of the ribbon (one at each end) and tie knots so that the beads hold well. At this stage, you can also use a golden lace or other bright rope. At the bottom you can disguise the place where the ends of the strips are glued behind a paper smiley face or a cartoon face. By cutting out a suitable piece from a children's magazine or packaging.

The bookmark in the form of a red and green braid is ready. This homemade little thing will definitely come in handy for a child, and you can make other options using suitable shades. Unusual weaving will definitely appeal to young creators, and Braided paper bookmarks will look great between the pages of your books.

Fans of reading paper books, no doubt, know how frustrating it is when you close a book and then painfully remember what page you stopped on. To prevent this from happening, you can make beautiful bookmarks with your own hands from scrap materials - paper, cardboard, fabric or, for example, old postcards. We offer you several options.

It is worth noting that no matter what bookmark you make, you should approach the process creatively. Don't try to repeat what is described below, think about how you would create it if there were no instructions. Or, what else, entrust the creation of the product to your son or daughter, if you have them. Children's creativity is always the most creative.

Paper bookmark “Bunny”

Making this bookmark is not as difficult as it might seem at first. To create it, you need to take a square piece of paper, fold it diagonally, trying to fit the smaller corners to the top (as if you were making an envelope). Then bend one edge to the middle of the original fold and bend the narrow corners, tucking the protruding sides inward.

Decorate the bookmark as you wish. The result can be a bunny, a monster, a wolf, a smiley face, a bun, a fox or anyone else, depending on your preferences.

Bookmark made of felt and cardboard “Cats”

This product is also quick and easy to make. It is enough to cut out two tall and narrow rectangles from felt and one from cardboard. Place them all together and sew with a needle and thread.

Afterwards, each bookmark can be decorated with figures of cats and flowers made from the same material, or decorated in some other way, in accordance with your wishes.

Bookmark made from paper clips

Paper clips are generally a unique material that allows you to create a bookmark in any form. For example, you can attach a foamiran decoration in the shape of a flower, a knitted butterfly or a sewn teddy bear to it. The main thing is to use your imagination and come up with something of your own.

Then all you have to do is attach the decorated paperclip to one end of the book and, voila, your page will no longer be lost.

Anyone who can hold a needle and thread in their hands can try embroidering a product. For this, very little is required: a little rectangular material (preferably 100% cotton or linen), sewing supplies and perseverance.

You can take any drawing, including from the Internet from special sites, or come up with it yourself. How beautiful such a bookmark is depends only on you and your skills. An example of the product is shown in the photo.

Master class on creating a bookmark

Books are our wealth. They require good treatment. For convenience, many readers use bookmarks. This useful accessory can be made with your own hands. For example, the way it was done in the next master class.

Necessary materials for work:

  • colored paper;
  • scissors;
  • a simple pencil;
  • regular ruler;
  • PVA glue.

Sequence of work:

1. Fold the lilac paper in half. We measure 5 cm from the folded edge with a ruler and cut it to length.

2. Unfold the paper. We put a ruler in the center and draw centimeters from top to bottom.

3. Cut the rectangle along the drawn lines and unfold it. The cuts are made in the middle, leaving the edges intact. We cut out strips one centimeter wide from yellow and green paper. Be careful.

4. We stretch the yellow strip along the rectangle through the square.

5. Yellow color alternates with lilac.

6. We stretch the green strip similarly to the yellow one in a checkerboard pattern.

7. Yellow and green squares alternate. It turned out to be a very convenient bookmark. The original bookmark is ready! As you can see, its creation did not take much time. And, most importantly, you can invite your child to make such a product himself. Let him develop his imagination.

So now you have a lot of ideas on how to make a bookmark. Try one of the tips below. You will definitely succeed!

Don’t stuff books with unnecessary pieces of paper, candy wrappers or calendars – make a beautiful bookmark with your own hands that will please the eye every time you see it. Moreover, it is very simple! We have prepared for you a selection of master classes on making a wide variety of bookmarks, most of which are done in less than 5-10 minutes, but the crafts look very presentable.

Satin bookmarks, bookmarks-clips, faces of different animals and much more - all this can easily be made with your own hands. You can also use most of the accessories to separate notes. If you are studying, be sure to take a closer look at these lessons and choose something that will be convenient for putting your notebooks in the right places. In addition, many homemade bookmarks fit perfectly into journals or scrapbooking albums. In a word, they are universal - choose what you like.

Satin

This is more of a female option, because such a bookmark should be made from some old pendant or earring that has lost its pair. Well, such an accessory looks very romantic - not masculine.

We will need:

  • satin ribbon (15-20 cm);
  • accessories for bracelets;
  • any pendant;
  • pliers and wire cutters.

It is better to lightly melt one end of the satin ribbon, which will be placed in the book, so that it does not fray (observe safety precautions!). We place the second end in the fittings and clamp it. We insert any decoration into the ring where the clasp is placed.

Take a look at the photo: these homemade bookmarks look like a stylish accessory, and not just a ribbon to secure a page.

There is no shame in giving such a bookmark as a gift to someone or using it in creating a notebook if you are involved in such creative work.

Felt

This bookmark will appeal to schoolchildren and simply lovers of cute little things. In this example we will talk about how to make a felt bookmark in the shape of a bear cub with your own hands, but you can choose any other template (you can look at our selection of stencils).

We will need:

  • felt of different colors;
  • foam paper;
  • Super glue.

Draw the image or trace it using a stencil. You can cut foam paper with a stationery knife or thin scissors, and you can sew large felt parts with contrasting threads, making large stitches. Small parts need to be glued with superglue (it is very convenient to use a glue gun).

The base of the bookmark is best made from foam paper, as it is soft and flexible: press the strip between two stenciled shapes and glue it together.

Try adding some interesting decor or embroidery to your homemade felt bookmarks to make them even more colorful and interesting.

From a postcard

Making a bookmark from a postcard is even easier, because it only takes a couple of minutes to create. If you are used to filling books with postcards or cardboard, take the time to make something more original and cute.

We will need:

  • any postcard or glossy cardboard;
  • colored paper;
  • markers.

We take any template of a triangular or rectangular shape.

We cut it out and make sure that our bookmark has “ears” cut out - this will make it more interesting. Next you need to make a fixing part. If the stencil allows, we cut out the edge along the contour to create the back and front parts. If this doesn’t work, you can glue on “legs” or “wings”.

To decorate the bookmark, use colored paper and draw faces with “hairstyles” with a felt-tip pen. By the way, such bookmarks can be made miniature and used instead of stickers or note dividers.

Magnetic

It is very convenient to use magnetic bookmarks. They do not fly out, but at the same time they fix the pages of books, which sometimes like to turn over on their own during the reading process if you do not hold them with your hand.

We will need:

  • magnetic tape;
  • any base;
  • Super glue.

As the main material, you can choose a postcard, colored cardboard with your applique, velvet cardboard and something else. You can make a magnetic bookmark with your own hands from almost any beautiful material that is most often used to create this accessory.

Cut two pieces of magnetic tape that will be slightly narrower than the workpiece. We attach the tape with superglue. We do not recommend taking magnets that are too long and wide, since this is still a bookmark - too tight a fixation is not needed.

Decorate your bookmark as desired, change its shape (you can make it openwork).

With button

Bookmarks made from paper clips are very convenient for securing the pages of small books and personal notebooks. They turn out to be very bright and original, and even a child can make them with their own hands.

We will need:

  • paperclip of any size;
  • button;
  • a piece of fabric;
  • Super glue.

It's best to use colored paper clips, as they will look more beautiful and won't crease the pages. You can use non-fabric buttons, but bookmarks with patterned fabric look much more interesting. Covering a button is simple: drop a little glue into the center and spread it well over the button so that there are no smudges, and tie it at the back with thread or glue it.

Glue the paperclip by pushing it slightly under the fabric. If you don’t want to use a button, you can glue a piece of cardboard covered with fabric – it will also work out great. Bookmarks with a pearl bead on top also look beautiful.

Children's bookmarks on sticks

If you want to make a bookmark for a child, you can choose almost any image to serve as its base. This is a very simple video master class that even your child can master.

Flip through coloring books, sort through postcards, or simply draw a fairy-tale character (or any other image) on cardboard. It is most convenient to use culinary skewers as a base, as they are very thin.

By the way, you can paint the skewers using acrylic paints. But don't do it with gouache or watercolor - the paint will imprint on the book.

As you can see, making a bookmark with your own hands is a simple task, but very useful. We hope you have found your own version or technique for making this accessory in this collection and are ready to complement it with your own ideas. Well, with colorful bookmarks, reading will become much more interesting, and taking notes will be much more pleasant.
