How to make a wreath of flowers: good and practical tips for creating a masterpiece. What flowers are best to make a wreath for the bride

Whether you're getting ready for a wedding, planning an outdoor party, or just celebrating the arrival of spring and summer, creating a floral wreath will help you create the right holiday vibe. A wreath of flowers is a fairly simple and attractive way to decorate any event. To make your own unique wreath, purchase your favorite flowers and attach them to a wire base.

Steps

Making a wreath on a wire base

    Measure the circumference of your head and add 5 cm to the measurement. If you are going to wear a wreath over a hairstyle (for example, a wedding), then first do your hair, and only then measure the circumference of your head along with your hair. Some types of hairstyles, such as regular and braided French braids, can add extra volume to the head.

    Cut a piece of strong wire to the appropriate length. Try to use thicker floral wire, such as one with paper wrap. Floral tape will stick to such a wire better. Do not use regular wire cutters or you will dull them. Take special wire cutters for metal.

    Roll the wire into a ring, overlapping its ends by about 2.5 cm. The ring made must be able to hold its shape. If it turned out to be too flimsy, then twist 2-3 wires together and re-make a ring out of them. So it will be more durable.

    To fix the ends of the wire, wrap them with floral tape. You can also additionally wrap the entire ring with tape. This will provide a better basis for further work with the wreath. Also with this action you will give the base of the wreath a uniform color.

    Choose flowers for the wreath and trim their stems to a length of 2.5-5 cm below the bud. Take scissors for trimming fresh or dried flowers, and wire cutters for cutting artificial flowers. Try to trim all flowers equally. So the wreath will turn out more uniform and neat.

    • Try to use small, medium and large flowers. This will make the wreath more diverse.
  1. Arrange the flowers in the order you like. Just take your time attaching them to the base of the wreath. The first step is to think about the design. It will be easier to make changes to the design if the flowers remain free to lie on the table. Try playing with flowers of different shapes, sizes and colors. Here are some additional design ideas.

    • Arrange the largest flowers at the front of the wreath. Take smaller and smaller flowers as you move towards the back of the wreath.
    • Try stacking all the flowers in the same direction (toward or away from the middle of the front).
    • Flowers do not have to be placed side by side with each other. You can place them as densely or as infrequently as you like.
    • Instead of distributing flowers around the entire perimeter of the wire base, they can be placed only in front of the wreath.
  2. Attach the first flower to the wire base. Hold the flower so that its stem is parallel to the wire base. Take floral tape and attach the flower to the base with it. Start taping the flower directly under the bud and continue doing so for about 1.5 cm after the end of its stem. Cut off the tape and press the remaining end of the tape to the base of the wreath.

    Attach the second wreath flower directly behind the first and secure it with floral tape. Position the second flower so that its bud slightly overlaps the first. The closer the flowers are placed, the more magnificent and heavy the wreath will turn out. The less often the flowers are arranged, the less voluminous, but more elegant the wreath will come out.

    Continue placing flowers at the base of the wreath and securing them with tape. Work in circles until you get to the colors you started with for the wreath.

    Consider attaching a ribbon to the wreath. Fold several long pieces of tape in half and attach them to the place where the ends of the wire base are fastened together. Raise the fold of the tapes about 2.5 cm above the wire base to use as a loop. Wrap the free ends of the ribbons around the wire and pull through the loop. Gently pull on the bands to secure them in place.

    Try on the wreath and make some adjustments if needed. If you notice a lack of flowers in certain areas of the wreath that you want to see more lush, carefully spread the buds there with your hands, insert an additional flower and secure with tape.

    Attach the new flower to the left stem.

    Move both left stems to the middle between the right and central stems. Keep these stems together, they will count as one.

    Add a flower to the right stem. The bud of a new flower should be located directly under the buds of already woven flowers.

    Move both right stems to the middle between the left and center stems. Don't let the right stems fall apart. Try to keep them together and consider them as one.

    Continue repeating the last steps until you reach the desired weave length. As flowers are added to the wreath, the woven stems will get thicker and thicker.

    • Try using a variety of flowers for the wreath. This will give it more expressive color shades, texture and special beauty.
    • Feel free to add leaves, herbs, and climbing plants to your wreath.
  3. Stop weaving when it is a few centimeters longer than the desired length. The weave should be a little longer, as a slight overlap is required to fasten its ends together. So you can securely fasten the wreath.

    Secure the end of the braid with wire. Position the wire directly under the last weave buds. Wrap it around the stems a few times, and then cut off the excess with wire cutters. This will fix the flowers and prevent the wreath from unraveling.

    Align the ends of the weave. Align the ends of the weave so that the wreath is comfortably located on your head. Hold the ends in place as you remove the wreath from your head.

    Fasten the ends of the wreath with wire. When fastening the ends of the wreath, run the wire under the flower buds. You need to fasten together only the stems of flowers. When everything is done, cut off the excess wire. Gently tuck both ends of this wire deep into the woven stems.

Making a wreath of artificial flowers

    Find a plastic or metal headband that fits your needs. You will glue your flowers to it.

    Consider creating a wrap around the headband with tape. This will hide the original color of the rim and provide better adhesion of the glue. You can use any color of ribbon, but green goes best with flowers. If you don't have a green ribbon, then try using a ribbon that matches the colors instead. The tape can be attached to the headband in two different ways, which are listed below.

    Choose artificial flowers for the wreath and pull their buds off the stems. If the buds won't come off, take a wire cutter and cut off the buds. Try to trim the flowers as close to the bud as possible.

    If necessary, also cut off the bottom of the bud. Sometimes, when the buds are pulled off the stem, a small tail remains in the lower part of the bud, which can interfere with the normal attachment of the flower to the rim. If you want the flower to be attached to the headband evenly, then cut off this tail.

Hello dear readers!
Last year, I accidentally came across a video on social media. I watched it several times and said to myself that I would do such hair ornaments with children at the lessons of labor training. We are constantly studying the topic of making homemade flowers. I have a lot of developments, articles, step-by-step videos. But this accessory really inspired me. I got so fired up that I stocked up on materials, photographs, made it myself and showed it to the children. Everyone liked the idea. True, when the turn came to make a design product, some of the girls were made on a long wire, and some on the basis of a wire rim. What kind of decoration is this? Read, watch videos and get inspired.

There are many concepts on the web: a wreath of flowers on the head, a headband with flowers, a headband, a wire hair ornament, etc. I thought for a long time which name would be best. It seems to be like each, but if you name it, then a completely different picture appears in your head. I think it should have its own name. And yet I chose wreath of flowers on the head from a long wire.

So first watch the video

True charm?

After studying the topic of making flowers from fabric, I suggested that the children make a design work of their choice: a round wreath, a wreath with ties, a wreath on a wire, a hoop, souvenirs for the home (a floating cup, paintings, etc.).

Wreath round

- Wreath with ties

-Hoop

-Souvenirs for home

- A wreath on a long wire

For all these crafts, you need to make homemade fabric flowers. If the girls wanted from purchased ones, then according to my requirements, it was necessary to make 2 decorations: both home-made crafts and from purchased elements.

What you need to make a wreath on wire

Soft wire that does not break after a few bends. We chose copper. We also practiced on such a wire (Floral wire 60 cm each)

and such blanks with already wound kidneys.

They are convenient to use for short wreaths.

Floral tape. Of all the colors, brown is suitable for hair.

Stamens. If there are no stamens on the wire, then it is advisable to attach them. They are small elements that dilute large ones. I bought plain white

and complex colors

Ivy. Bought a small ivy. He looks great. In a skein for 40 UAH it is 20 m!

Flowers. We made and bought. The apple tree looks very nice.

Wire for beads 0.3 mm.

Most of the photos are taken from the online store bulavki.in.ua, where I bought all this.
The range is very large. Wholesale prices are favorable, but for this you need to collect an order in the amount of 700 UAH. I teamed up with needlewomen girls on the Internet.

The sequence of making a wreath on a long wire

1. Consider the length of the product. It depends on the length of the hair. I have done both short and long hair. Prepare the base wire.

2. Calculate how many large flowers will be along the entire length. At the edges, I recommend not to fasten, as they will interfere. In the center of the head, too, a large flower does not look. It looks better when uneven distribution. Where it will be on the forehead - thicker, further - less, at the edges - it is not worth fixing them at all.

In more detail, I tell you how to make a wreath of flowers on your head in the video.
If you have any questions about making, ask in the comments.

Such a wreath will look very unusual and decorate a girl with long hair. It is fastened with hairpins, keeps on the head for a long time. Done in one lesson. It just takes a few more lessons to prepare. Many students made such gifts as gifts hair ornaments.
Make such wreaths for yourself and your family.

At fashion shows of recent seasons, you can often see a demonstration of dresses and sundresses in combination with wreaths adorning the heads of models. The sizes of compositions are the most various, as well as color schemes. The trend for this accessory was immediately appreciated by the fair sex. And, age doesn't matter. Everyone can choose for themselves the ideal model that favorably emphasizes the natural beauty.

For whom and for what cases is it suitable

Almost all women can use a wreath to decorate their hair. Another issue is the choice of floristic composition and size of flowers. Teenagers and girls can safely try on any form. The main criterion is compatibility with the outfit. Restrained compositions from small buds are more suitable for women. The color scheme should consist mainly of pastel and light colors.

Wearing an accessory is appropriate even in everyday life. Of course, you can hardly wear such an accessory to work. But for meetings with friends, a weekend trip, this decor is quite suitable.

The main purpose of the wreath are solemn and holidays. In recent years, there has been a popularity of using an accessory in the image of a bride. Little girls and grown ladies look equally good with delicate little buds on their heads. This emphasizes femininity, gives the appearance of gentle notes and charm.

Folk festivities and holidays can also be an occasion to transform by decorating your hair with a wreath. Today's youth loves to celebrate Ivan Kupala. Girls with a floral composition on their heads look mysterious and charming. This holiday is not complete without a mandatory attribute - a wreath woven from fresh flowers.

When using a flower accessory, it is important to remember that it is appropriate in the spring and summer. Although some women of fashion manage to combine it with fur coats and high boots. You can adapt the accessory to the season by using decorative elements that correspond to the time of flowering. Autumn decorations look beautiful and appropriate from yellowed leaves.

How to DIY

For the manufacture will require the following materials:

  • wire;
  • flowers on twigs or individual buds;
  • ribbons.

To ensure that the base is firmly fixed on the head, you can use a headband. It is recommended to complement the flowers with beads and various greens. So the composition will look more beautiful and richer.

Of the tools you need only scissors. For the convenience of attaching flowers, stylists advise using a glue gun. The hot fixing method will quickly and securely fix the desired fragment on the base. This will save a lot of time on drying the surface.

Elements for the composition are used from different materials. For celebrations and stately events, hair is decorated with a rim of living inflorescences. But more often plastic and paper are used. The composition made of fabric looks very impressive. The skill is honed over the years, as a result of which buds are obtained that cannot be immediately distinguished from real flowers.

From artificial flowers

Step-by-step instruction:

  1. Measure the circumference of the head to create a wire frame. If it is not possible to take a measurement, then you should make a wire rim with open ends, on which the ribbons are fixed. By tying at the back of the head, the wreath can be worn in different sizes. In the case of using measurements, you need to cut 3-4 wire rods, equal to the circumference of the head plus 4-5 cm in length to fix the ring. Twist the base from them, without closing the ends.
  2. Take branches of artificial flowers and disassemble them into individual buds and leaves. Short branches are also suitable for composition. Flowers should be cut close to the base so that the stems do not interfere with the fastening.
  3. Preliminarily make a blank of buds and leaves, laying it out on the table. Larger fragments are placed in the center, small fragments are placed towards the back of the head. Flowers should overlap in tone and size, and the overall composition should be complemented by greenery from leaves and twigs.
  4. Cut out circles from felt, smaller in diameter than flower buds.
  5. Glue a piece of felt to each piece so that a free strip 0.5-0.7 mm wide remains in the center.
  6. String all the elements one by one, pulling the wire base into the empty space in the center of the felt.
  7. Distribute and correct the composition.
  8. Twist the ends of the wire wrapped around each other several times.
  9. Cover the junction of the rim with flowers.

From fresh flowers

Step by step instructions for making a wreath:

  1. Make a wire frame. To do this, you need to cut 3-4 twigs, the length of which will be equal to the size of the head circumference plus 3-4 cm to fix the ends.
  2. Prepare the plants by cutting their stems into 10-14 cm pieces. In order for the flowers not to wither quickly, they should be treated with a floral spray. So the wreath will keep a presentable look for a long time.
  3. Wrap the resulting ring with a 4-5 cm floral tape, and then alternately lay the wreath fragments. Each stalk is tightly fixed with tape, making 3-4 turns. You need to arrange the elements denser to each other. The main flowers, field herbs, and other greens will serve as elements. As an addition, you can use beads and pebbles, planted on pieces of wire. In combination with fresh flowers, the decor will look elegant.
  4. The stems of the last elements hide under fixed plants and tightly fixed with tape.

Wreaths from living inflorescences can be woven without creating a frame. Cutting the stems in this case is not necessary. Weave to start with the formation of a bundle of 3-5 stems. Each new fragment wraps around the long stems of the initial bundle in two turns (before and after the inflorescence).

The end is connected to the bundle and closed into a ring with a floral tape. To give the accessory strength, you can put a satin ribbon on the stems of the initial bundle. Use it later to connect the composition.

From autumn leaves

A wreath of autumn leaves looks very beautiful. The most popular is maple. Its leaves turn yellow faster than other trees, and the structure is strong, not losing its original appearance for a long time.

Step-by-step instruction:

  1. Attach 4-6 leaves at the same time to the rim prepared from wire. Fix with floral tape.
  2. After 3-4 bunches of maple leaves, insert rowan on a branch. A reminder of summer will be useful. To do this, you can insert green leaves every 5-7 rows.
  3. The stems of the last fragments need to be hidden under the fixed leaves, and cut off the excess.

From paper

Paper flowers are very delicate and fragile. When worn, they can lose their shape, so the masters recommend fixing flower arrangements on a solid foundation. An ordinary hoop is best suited for this. It is better if its base is wide, then the accessory will turn out to be massive.

Instruction:

  1. Lay out a composition of paper buds and leaves on the table. You can add plastic greenery and beads fixed on a wire. Place the massive part in the middle, and place small elements to the edges.
  2. Alternately fasten the fragments to the base of the hoop using hot glue or PVA.
  3. Seal the composition with greenery and other decor.
  4. Parts of the hoop that go behind the ears no need to cover with floral elements.

From tapes

To create a wreath, you will need to prepare elements: 4-5 types of flowers, greenery, stamens. All of them are made of satin and organza ribbons. If everything is clear in terms of the tonality of the colors (for a beautiful composition, they are made from various bright colors), then the leaves are cut out to create a three-dimensional composition from several shades of green ribbon. To add airiness, you need to use organza blanks.

The shape of greenery should repeat the outlines of the leaves of several plants. For example: poplar, oak, maple. All edges of elements made of tapes must be melted to prevent fraying of threads. For these purposes, you can use a lighter. The most commonly chosen flowers are: poppies, daisies, cornflowers, roses, chrysanthemums, asters. They are well combined with each other or in addition to other inflorescences.

Step-by-step instruction:

  1. Braid the rim with green ribbon in the “snake” way. Fix the ends of weaving with a needle and thread. This will be the base.
  2. Glue the leaves along the contour of the rim on both sides. Lay the elements with an overlap, using different types of greenery. You should get a solid base.
  3. Next, fasten glue flowers.
  4. Lastly, the composition is compacted with organza leaves. They need to be fixed at once in 3-5 pieces. Then the wreath will be big.
  5. Sew an elastic band 10-15 cm to the edges of the rim(depending on head circumference). It should be decorated with green organza.
  6. Sew a few freely sagging ribbons of 30-40 cm onto the elastic. It will look beautiful if you use satin strips of different thicknesses (1 and 2 cm). Their colors should overlap with the tones of the colors used in the composition. Along the edges of the ribbons, make a beautiful triangular undercut.

  • For long-term events, you should carefully use accessories from live inflorescences. They quickly lose their appearance and by the middle of the celebration they will completely lose their presentable appearance if they are not previously kept in the refrigerator. A special spray bought at a florist's shop will help prevent rapid fading.
  • If active rest is foreseen, the reliability of fastening the wreath should be taken into account. Ribbons tied at the back of the head will help to better fix the headband on the head.
  • A bright wreath of large flowers should not be complemented with catchy makeup. You will get an image overload.
  • The flower accessory looks spectacular on loose and slightly curled hair. Appearance acquires features of tenderness, romanticism and freshness.
  • You can make a wreath from several branches of artificial flowers. First, you need to parse the branches into separate fragments. Then assemble the composition by gluing the elements onto the hoop.
  • For celebrations and weddings, it is recommended to use accessories from small flowers in pastel colors. Thin satin ribbons will give the decoration a fit for its intended purpose.
  • Before making a wreath for the bride from natural flowers, you should consult with a florist. The specialist will tell you which plants are better to make jewelry. Quick damage to the flower rim can ruin the holiday.
  • The longer the strands, the larger the elements of the composition in the wreath.
  • The accessory should fit comfortably on the head. Do not build too bulky rims. It is inconvenient to wear them, and in the photo the face will constantly be lost in buds and leaves.
  • If the bride's outfit involves the addition of a wreath, then the buds from the rim should overlap with the bouquet.

A wreath of flowers on your head will be a great accessory for your summer outfit. And he will loudly declare to the whole world: “My mistress is aware of the trend!”. Flower wreaths last autumn included the brightest stars of Russia and the world in their outfits. And they wore them even in winter at various events. There are still, of course, those who continue to do Greek hairstyles with the help of a bandage. But their photos no longer appear on the pages of glossy magazines - photographers of fashion publications have aimed their devices at girls in wreaths. Don't believe? You can check. After looking through a lot of photos of celebrities who put on a wreath of flowers on their heads, you will have only one question: “Where can I buy such a miracle?” But the fact of the matter is that all the products that have settled on the charming tops of the stars and stars of all ranks are piece work. Made by designers and most often by order for a certain dress, such a wreath cannot be cheap.

Another option for how to do

You can not fix the wire in the shape of a circle, but make loops at the ends. Wrap allowances of 5 centimeters around the wire without connecting to each other. At the same time, leave loops about 1 centimeter long. After fixing all the flowers, tie beautiful satin ribbons on them.

The tradition of weaving wreaths of fresh flowers appeared a long time ago. Our ancestors mastered this skill to perfection. They also knew many secrets that helped them keep the freshness of the flowers and the shape of the finished decoration for a long time.

The tradition of weaving wreaths of fresh flowers appeared a long time ago.

The tradition of wearing flower wreaths has begun to revive again in recent years. Using our master class, you will learn how to weave wreaths with your own hands and find out which flowers are best to use.

Variants of weaving from natural flowers

There are dozens of different ways to weave wreaths. Let's talk about the most popular of them:

  • From flowers with a long stem. To weave a wreath, you need to select suitable flowers with long stems. First you need to take a few of the largest flowers and put them in one bunch, which will serve as the basis. Then new flowers should be added to the folded bunch, wrapping their stems around the prepared base in such a way that each subsequent flower fixes the stem of the previous one. Flowers should be woven close to each other so that they cover the base of the wreath and the protruding ends of already woven flowers. These ends must be hidden in existing weaves so that they do not spoil the appearance of the finished product. The length of the wreath must be adjusted during its fitting. When it fits, the weaving ends, and its edges are fastened together with a strong thread, matched to the tone of the base of the wreath. Instead of a thread, you can use strong grass, tying it into a knot, or you can fix the product with a bast (a thin strip from the bark of a tree).
  • The "pigtail" method. This option is considered the easiest. Take a bunch of flowers, divide it into three equal parts and start weaving. After a few curls, add new flowers. Continue weaving, stacking the flowers as tightly as possible. If you decide to weave a wreath of flowers with a thick and hard stem (for example, water lilies or water lilies), this option will be optimal.
  • With ready base. You will need to prepare the base for the wreath. It can be a hoop on which flowers will be attached. They must be braided onto the hoop so that each subsequent flower holds the previous one. The size of the base is determined individually for each person based on the circumference of the head. Another variation of this method is weaving a wreath with a wire base. Most often this method is used by florists.

Composition of different flowers

Necessary materials:

  • Wire ordinary and decorative;
  • Secateurs or knife;
  • Tape tape (this is a special floral tape with which you can "extend the life" of fresh flowers);
  • Flowers (in our example, spray roses, several different types of carnations and eucalyptus are involved).

Step-by-step instruction:

  1. First, wrap the wire with teip tape.
  2. Bend the tape to the size of the head, do the same with its ends so that they cannot be injured. You can also make a wreath with special ribbon inserts that can be used to adjust it.
  3. Trim the flowers and form small bunches by combining them with herbs. Wrap the bundles with teip tape.
  4. Start creating a wreath. Secure the finished bundles to the wire base with tape. For reliability, wrap the base with decorative wire.
  5. Weaving a wreath, alternate spray roses with carnations. Place flowers only on the outside of the wreath base.
  6. When you reach the middle, mark the center of the wreath with larger and more open roses. Then return to the usual weaving technique with small flowers.
  7. The first version of a beautiful wreath is ready.

Finished wreath

From small flowers

Necessary materials:

  • Flowers;
  • Ribbons;
  • green wire;
  • Nippers or scissors.

Step-by-step instruction:

  1. Determine the size of the product by measuring the circumference of the head with a wire. Cut off the desired length, leaving a small allowance (3 centimeters will be enough).
  2. Make small loops on both sides of the wire.
  3. Choose flowers for your wreath. Trim their stems to the same length (about 5 centimeters).
  4. Sort the flowers by size into three piles (large, medium and small). The largest ones must be fixed in the center of the wreath, half-opened and medium ones are placed after them, and small and unopened buds are placed along the edges. Such a wreath will look very light and airy. If you take only large flowers, the product will look too massive and sloppy.
  5. Attach the flower to the main wire and wind its stalk with the second piece of wire. The larger the flowers, the more securely they need to be fixed.
  6. After making a few turns, attach the next flower. Continue weaving the wreath until all the flowers are in place. If they are too small, you can combine them into small bundles before attaching to the base.
  7. When there are a few centimeters left until the end of the weave, start applying flowers in the opposite direction. Try to make this transition as invisible as possible.
  8. In order for the wreath to hold tight and look more interesting, thread the ribbons into the previously made loops and tie them. The wreath is ready.

Useful information: A wreath of fresh flowers is a very beautiful decoration, but, unfortunately, short-lived. To prolong its life, keep the wreath in a cool place. Spray the petals regularly with water from a spray bottle.

Wreath with satin ribbon

Necessary materials:

  • Flowers (English roses, buttercups, various herbs and berries, jasmine, greenery);
  • Narrow satin ribbon;
  • floral tape;
  • Thick wire;
  • Scissors or nippers.

Step-by-step instruction:

  1. Prepare flowers. Shorten their stems to 4 centimeters. Grass and small flowers can be trimmed a little more.
  2. Cut a 70 cm strip from the satin ribbon. This should be enough to create a wreath and tie a bow. Excess pieces can be trimmed later.
  3. So that the wreath has a neat appearance, and the technical parts are not visible to others, turn the first flowers inside the base. Attach them to the base and wrap tightly with floral tape on top.
  4. After you have fixed the first few flowers on the base, attach the rest to the outside of the wreath. Alternate flowers with herbs, berry branches and greens.
  5. Watch the length of the product, because if you make the wreath too long, it will be difficult to disassemble it. You will run the risk of damaging the desired buds that are already fixed.
  6. When you reach the end, fasten the edges harder, and cut off the excess pieces of wire and floral tape. Adjust all the buds so that they fit one to the other.

Decoration for girls from bouquets

Necessary materials:

  • Several types of flowers;
  • Green satin or silk ribbon;
  • Scissors or nippers.

Step-by-step instruction:

  1. First you need to create the basis of your decoration. To do this, twist the wire into a circle. The base should be loose on the head, because after you attach the flowers to it, the wreath will be narrower and heavier. With the wrong size, it can put a lot of pressure on the head or, conversely, subside.
  2. Next, wrap the wire joints with colored tape and tighten it as tight as possible.
  3. Divide the flowers into bunches, one bud at a time, begin to attach them to the base. So it will be easier for you to work, and the crown with the tape will not be overloaded.
  4. To keep all the flowers firmly, you need to make small bouquets of them. Tie them tightly with several ribbons, and cut the edges short.
  5. Make about 15 small bunches. Start attaching them to the base of the wreath.
  6. Fasten the resulting bouquets from the outside, tightly wrapping their edges with tape. You need to do this until you reach the end of the wire and completely fill the base with flowers.

Standard option

Necessary materials:

  • Artificial flowers, leaves, twigs;
  • Scissors;
  • Wire (wrapped with cloth);
  • Green floral tape.

Step-by-step instruction:

  1. Prepare artificial flowers for work. You can take a bouquet and cut flowers from it, or buy single flowers. Flowers are best cut with part of the stalk, so they will better be attached to the wreath.
  2. Take a piece of wire or a flexible twig and measure the circumference of your head to determine the correct diameter for the wreath. When trying on, leave a space between the wire and the head with a volume of about two fingers. Cut off the excess pieces of the base.
  3. Fold the edges of the base overlap and tightly rewind them with the prepared floral tape.
  4. After that, take the first flower, secure it with the same tape. The following artificial flowers should be attached in the same way.
  5. Gradually pull the ribbon forward and weave flowers, leaves and berries alternately into the wreath. Fasten them as tightly as possible to each other so that there are no gaps.
  6. When you fill the entire base, tightly tie the edges of the tape, and cut off the excess pieces. The advantage of floral tape is that its edges can be easily fastened with an adhesive backing.

Such a wreath is very easy to weave even for a beginner.

From flowers with beads

Necessary materials:

  • Flowers (ideally - decorative paper roses with a stem);
  • Artificial berries or leaves;
  • Turquoise wire with a diameter of 0.8 centimeters;
  • Scissors;
  • floral tape;
  • beads for decoration;
  • Glue "Moment".

Step-by-step instruction:

  1. Unwind the wire, wind flowers and berries on it, directing their edges to the end.
  2. Next, continue to fasten the flowers, only with “tails” in the opposite direction, from the edge of the wire. String some beads.
  3. Please note that the length of the wreath should be approximately 50 centimeters.
  4. Fasten the strung beads at a short distance, alternating them with the main decoration.
  5. Bend the ends of the wire so that you get a loop.
  6. Cut the satin ribbon in half (you should get two 30 cm pieces). Thread it through the loop and secure with a knot or superglue.

This wreath looks very gentle and neat.

With sprigs of lavender and rosebuds

Necessary materials:

  • Wire;
  • Floral or simple tape;
  • Scissors;
  • Flowers of different shades (it is better to choose roses);
  • Sprigs of dusty miller and lavender (several bunches);
  • Artificial rose buds.

Step-by-step instruction:

  1. Take the wire, twist a circle of the desired diameter out of it.
  2. Then wrap the resulting bezel with colored tape (green is best).
  3. Take the prepared flowers and cut their stems to the desired size, leaving about 3-4 centimeters of free edge.
  4. Start weaving a wreath. Attach the flowers to the base with tape. When applying a flower, wrap the stem with tape in one turn, and then add the next buds.
  5. In the same way, fill the entire base of your wreath, alternating bunches of lavender with flowers. For this option, we used several different shades of roses. To make the product more original, alternate tones or make it in a “rainbow” style.
  6. After securing all the flowers at the base of the wreath, rewind the edge with tape.
  7. Congratulations, your wreath is ready!
