You can read more about how to make paper flowers with your own hands in the articles of the site:

In winter, you really want to feel a piece of summer or spring. I want to decorate the interior with something bright and sunny. Today I will help you make your wish come true and teach you how to create beautiful bright flowers for interior decoration.

Colored paper.
Ruler, scissors, pencil.
PVA glue or any other reliable glue for paper.

First we need to cut out a circle for the base of our flower. We cut it out of any paper, it will not be visible, and put it aside for a while.

Now we take new leaf colored paper and begin to draw it. We need squares 7 by 7 cm.

Cut out all the drawn squares. This can be done with scissors or stationery knife whichever is more convenient for you. For a flower, we need squares from one whole and one half of an A4 sheet.

Now begins the most laborious, but quite interesting job. We begin to twist our squares into small envelopes, such as those in which grandmothers used to sell seeds.

When all the squares are twisted, we take the circle set aside earlier for the base and begin to collect the dahlia. We glue the first row of petals and let it dry.

Now it's time to glue the second row. Petals of different rows must be glued in a checkerboard pattern.

In the same way, we glue the rest of the rows until the entire base is filled with bags - petals. So, simple, but not very fast, we succeeded beautiful dahlia. It can be hung by a rope on the wall, glued to a postcard, inserted into a frame, attached to a leg and put in a vase. In general, there are plenty of options!

Such beautiful flower made of paper looks like a real dahlia. When your guests see it, they won't believe you made it yourself! Make a lot of these flowers and present to all your friends, they will be delighted!

In a previous blog I was asked how I made my dahlias.

I'll tell you right away. I used this MK for chrysanthemums, but with some variations. I will describe them in detail in this blog.

Necessary materials:
- sweets Evening bells
- scotch
- scissors
- wire cutters
- toothpicks
- ruler
- glue gun and rods (for the whole bouquet I had a package of rods from Auchan for 23 rubles)
- corrugated paper in 2 colors. I have Italian 180gr

We prepare sweets: we wrap them up to half with tape, insert a toothpick inside and press the tape with our fingers to the toothpick. ATTENTION: if the toothpick is sharp on both edges, then break off one end with wire cutters so that it does not pierce the candy.

Cut out the middle - the 1st row of petals. Dimensions in the picture. The width of each petal is 1.5 cm. We do not cut to the base 2cm. At a distance of 4.5 cm from the top, twist the petal one turn

After that, each twisted tail is bent towards the base. And stretch the top of the petal with your fingers to make a semicircle

We do the same procedure as in the 5th photo

So that the tails do not stick out, I glued them on half a drop of hot glue.

Let's try candy. I glue it about 2 cm from the top

I start gluing from the middle petal. In the picture I noted how I coat the glue so that the petals do not stick out on the sides, but slightly cover the candy. After I glued the middle petal to the candy, I coat 2 petals with glue on one side, crush them to the candy, then coat the remaining 2 petals and again crush them to the candy.
Before work, I store sweets in the refrigerator so that they are not soft and do not melt during work.

Here's what we got

Side view. Be sure to properly press the leg with your fingers to the toothpick during gluing. Below I'll show you why...

In the second and third rows, I drip glue only on the base so that the petals fluff to the sides. I glue according to the same principle as the first row. I start with the middle petal, then I switch to the right two, glue them at the same time, and then I smear the left two and glue both petals at the same time

Here is such a beauty. As you can see, I glue the petals in a checkerboard pattern so that they are on the same level from above. The middle can be a little higher by a couple of millimeters.

And here is the promised photo with a comparison of the right and wrong flower. On the right is a flower, in which I badly crushed the leg with my fingers. It turns out ugly…. Therefore, try to crush them as much as possible from the very first row, so that it turns out like on the left flower

With wire cutters or nail scissors, I cut exactly the stem of the flowers, since in the bouquet I immediately inserted them into the foam. If you attach them to a wire or skewer, then you can cut the leg not straight, but along an oblique line to get smooth transition on the stem. Then you can tap the leg. But I didn't need it

Here is such a nice little bouquet I got. In the previous blog, you can see it from all sides

In this tutorial, we'll show you step by step how to create another autumn flower- dahlia. The plant has more than ten thousand varieties that differ in structure, height, size and type of flower, texture, petal shape and shades. Each variety of dahlia is attractive and original in its own way, but the most beloved among florists is spherical. Huge lush inflorescences are collected from many large tubular petals. The palette of shades of inflorescences is huge: from white-lemon shining to dark velvet-violet tones. Large flowers look great in large arrangements, combined with small flowers contrasting shades. After reading the material in this lesson, you will understand how to make a crepe paper dahlia with your own hands.

Prepare for work:

  • corrugated paper of the shade you like (for the formation of petals);
  • green corrugated paper (for processing the stem);
  • tape;
  • scissors;
  • ruler;
  • glue gun with glue rod;
  • large brushes;
  • skewer.

How to make a dahlia from corrugated paper

Step 1. In the future, we will use the created dahlia as an insert in the bouquet, so we will make it without candy. If you need a candy flower for your composition, then before gluing the inner petals, fix the candy on the tip of the skewer, after wrapping it with a large piece of corrugation oval shape. The inner petals of a dahlia differ from the main ones, and have flat shape with pointed ends. To create them, we cut out a blank in the form of a strip measuring 18 * 6-7 cm.

Along the edge of the workpiece, we cut out thin teeth 5-7 mm wide.

The inner petals are ready, it remains only to twist their tips with scissors and glue them to the skewer. We straighten the thin petals, bending the extreme details outward.

Step 2. Next, we proceed to the formation of the outer petals. We cut out 45-50 drop-shaped blanks from beige paper with dimensions of 3 * 7 cm and 2 * 5 cm.

With small petals we will paste over the middle of the bud, and with large ones we will increase it lower part. attach desired shape petals we will use brushes. We wrap the end of the handle with a workpiece, connecting side edges petal overlap, and twist the free tip tightly with your fingers.

We remove the brush and get a finished hollow petal.

We work out all the blanks in a similar way. For small parts use a smaller brush.

Step 3. Now we return to the formation of the flower and continue to paste over it with new petals. To make the shape of the bud spherical, starting from the second tier, we shift the petals 2-3 mm below the previous tier.
