How to cut openwork eggs from paper.
1. First you need to select a template picture. You can use special templates for protrusions, which you can easily find on the Internet.
The template can be printed on a printer at home or in a copy center on white / colored paper, or you can draw it yourself.
2. Prepare a template of the desired size: A3 or A4.
3. Prepare the necessary materials and tools:
dummy knife,
Manicure scissors or stationery knife,
Paper (white office paper, colored office paper, colored paper for children's art, designer paper or Vivaldi, my favorite,
stapler,
Glue or double sided tape
Cutting mat.
4. After we have decided and put the template we need on paper, we begin to cut out the pattern. Important! Don't forget to place a cutting mat or piece of linoleum under it.
5. To increase the number of copies, you can cut several eggs at once according to the same pattern. To do this, you need to staple 2-3 sheets of paper of the desired size in several places with a stapler. However, it should be remembered the more layers of paper, the more difficult it is to cut. The blade of the knife must be very sharp, be careful!
It is better to start cutting with small details, gradually moving to larger ones. (Though some people find it easier to start from a certain angle, cutting the pieces one at a time.)
Cut out eggs can be glued to a suitable background with glue or double-sided tape, or laminated for durability. When rolled through a laminator, the colors are very saturated. It is better to take a thin film, 80 microns, it is easier to cut.

Print out the egg template. We will cut out two halves of our craft at once, so one template is needed per egg.

Trim excess paper around the template. Take two sheets of paper slightly larger than the template sheet. Fold all three sheets (template, of course, on top) and staple them all together with a stapler. Chip along the outer contour and in the center, in those areas that will be cut out later.
Take a paper cutter and cut through the patterns, starting from the center elements and moving towards the edges. Leave the outer contour for last. Cut along the outer contour with scissors. When you work with a knife, do not forget to put a piece of hardboard or thick cardboard underneath. Otherwise, you can ruin the furniture.
When you're done cutting, you'll have three identical blanks. It's always a shame to throw away a pattern. You can stick it on colored paper with the lined side down. Get a good Easter card.
