DIY paper products. Paper crafts for children: princess decorations

Have you ever heard of paper? self made? No? Then I propose to make one for yourself.....Everything about making it is here. Handmade paper is truly exclusive. It is used for making cards and scrap albums, for wrapping expensive gifts, for printing invitations and business cards, in interior design. It is quite rare, expensive, and difficult to find for sale...

To make handmade paper we will need the following materials and tools:

Mixer or blender.
- Regular paper napkins or... toilet paper.
- Colored thin paper - for example, wrapping paper.
- PVA glue.
- Household sponge.
- Old newspapers.
- A tablespoon, preferably flat.
- Highly absorbent fabric ( terry towel, cleaning cloth, etc.).
- Gauze - about 2 m.
- A plastic tray - for example, a lid from a household container or a tray.
- A jug of warm water.
- Iron.
- A stack of books (for the press).

Also, this is a wonderful opportunity to literally “feel” with your child how and what the pages for his favorite books and magazines, toy boxes, greeting cards are made from...
And at the same time, we’ll tell and show the little one how ancient peoples made paper. In addition, this activity can be the first step towards environmental education baby. After all, this is how your son or daughter will learn why it is better not to throw away newspapers and cardboards, but to hand them over to special points, and what “waste paper” is and how it can be useful.

■ Let's start by "tearing" the napkins. They need to be divided into layers and torn finely. To make an A5 sheet (half a standard one), we will need 4-5 napkins.
■ Pour pieces of napkins into a blender or mixer bowl and tear them there colored paper- green and orange.

■ Add warm water to the container with paper. There should be enough of it so that the paper is completely soaked - don’t be afraid to pour too much.
■ Turn on the blender and grind the paper pulp thoroughly.
■ Add a little PVA glue - 2-3 teaspoons is enough for our quantity.

■ Mix the mixture again with a mixer. It should have a consistency similar to liquid. semolina porridge with lumps.
■ Cover a plastic tray with several layers of gauze and carefully place the paper mixture on it, leveling it with a tablespoon. The thicker the layer, the denser the paper sheet will be.

■ While the gauze and paper pulp are on the tray, carefully drain off the excess water.
■ Next, take a household sponge and begin blotting the fabric to remove excess moisture.

■ Very carefully transfer the gauze with the paper “filling” onto a cloth or towel and blot thoroughly again.
■ Repeat blotting with the cloth and sponge until the gauze “sandwich” is slightly damp.
■ You can now move on to the next drying step. To do this, use newspapers, wrapping gauze and paper in them.

■ Rearranging the paper requires great care, because it is now very easy to tear. And when drying with newspapers, do not rub the surface, but only smooth it with your palm!
■ Carefully unwrap the paper and leave it to air dry for several hours.
■ Now it’s time to smooth out our paper blank, because when drying in the open air it can “warp” significantly. To do this, place the paper between newspapers and carefully iron it with a warm iron.

■ To even better align our sheet, you can put it under a press from a stack of books or magazines for several hours.

■ The finishing touch for our paper can be applied using watercolor paints.
Draw light streaks or dots that will add additional charm.
So, we have a sheet of thick handmade paper with veins and inclusions.

For what purposes can it be used?
■ For making handmade cards.
■ For letters to the closest and dearest people.
■ As a backing or base for a scrapbook page. It consists not only of photographs, but also of additions - memorabilia, shells, ribbons, etc., and such unusual paper will serve as an excellent background and decoration for the page.
■ On a sheet of such paper you can draw an excellent pirate map for searching for treasures.
■ Handmade paper can also be a wonderful packaging for a handmade gift.
■ A stack of sheets of handmade paper, sewn with thick leather, paper or rope cord, will become an exclusive notebook for creative ideas small (or big) poet or artist...
Try to diversify the technology of making handmade paper to get interesting decorative effects.
For example, do the following:
■ As a basis for paper pulp, you can use colored and white office paper, wrapping paper and even... toilet paper.
■ To experiment with color, try adding a little watercolor paint to the liquid paper mixture, food coloring or tea leaves.
■ Add any small fillers to the paper pulp: dry herbs and flower petals, rice and semolina, glitter or colored thread trimmings.

■ You can make a “herbarium” on handmade paper. To do this, dry the twigs, leaves and flowers under pressure. Then lightly coat them with PVA glue and place them on the layer of paper pulp that you just placed on the cheesecloth. Once the paper dries, the plants will become part of the leaf. And it's very beautiful!
■What about embossed sheets of paper? To do this, you need to print objects with the desired texture on wet paper pulp - for example, “stamp” a sheet with buttons, children’s seals, or small toys. Create!

Good afternoon, today I decided to collect in one article all ways make paper crafts that are feasible for children. For the 2017 craft season - it turned out decent photo collection of ideas which a child can make from paper with his own hands. These paper crafts can be used for activities in kindergarten or school (grades 1-5). There will be some easy crafts here for children preschool age (from 3 to 7 years) – for junior, middle and senior group. There will also be more complex crafts that require more long school session(for 45 minutes) - suitable for labor lessons for children in grades 1, 2, 3, 4. And also leaders of creative circles " Skillful hands» in kindergarten or school they will find a lot for themselves useful ideas paper crafts.

  • We will do flat crafts-appliques.
  • Volumetric crafts made from colored paper and corrugated cardboard.
  • Crafts toys made of cardboard or thick paper.
  • Crafts using various techniques (half-discs, fan, symmetrical fold, postcard).

On this moment We already have thematic articles on our website with paper crafts,

And also many ideas for paper NEW YEAR crafts in the article:

And in this article we will look at different techniques, which can be used for paper crafts for children of all ages.

So let's see what paper crafts I collected in this piggy bank.

Origami

Using the HALF-DISC technique.

Crafts made from colored paper that we see in kindergarten and school most often look like appliqués. I really like it myself applications with effect 3D. There are quite a few ways to create bulges on an applique.

In this article I want to highlight a technology that is interesting in its graphics - these are crafts from round paper disks. When all the work is laid out in the form of whole or folded paper rounds.

This mosaic applique of round parts is suitable for children 3-4 years old. It suits their pedagogical needs just right. of this age, when children do not yet know how to work with scissors, but are already happy to glue ready-made template modules from colored paper.

Such applique crafts look bright and unusual due to PARTIAL GLUEING of the modules - we place only half of the disk on the glue, and its second part sticks out in a fold.

You can also make more from circles or ovals bent in half flat applications but also paper crafts and toys. Here's one for inspiration caterpillar made of ovals bent in half– children from 3 years old cope with this task if you help them fold the ovals in half. Children 4 years old will fold ovals themselves, and even cut out several of them. And children 5 years old need to be given colored rectangles, they themselves will cut the corners of the rectangles, thereby turning them into ovals, they themselves will bend them in half and fold them into a caterpillar.

Be smart and think about WHAT ELSE you can construct from paper semicircles or semi-ovals. Surely you can make a frog, panda, giraffe, hippopotamus, penguin from such round or oval half-discs.

VOLUMETRIC applique

Made from paper blades.

Here is another technology for convex paper appliqués. When the parts are glued together in advance into BLADES, and then such a bladed paper craft is glued with its blades onto the application cardboard.

Blades are obtained if Bend 3-4 identical parts in half, and then the bent walls of adjacent parts are glued to each other.

For example, the ladybug in the photo below consists of from three paper circles. We cut out three circles and folded them in half. First, glue the halves bent in half on the left and right. And then the third round piece lies like a book on the protruding halves of the glued round pieces.

The Ladybug craft is suitable for children 3 years old. And the “Balloon” craft with a large number of blades is suitable for children 4-5 years old.

Any paper shape can be turned into a bladed part; the number of blades and the splendor of the part depends on how many parts you use in your volumetric gluing.

In the same way, you can make paper crafts with your own hands. volumetric form(in the form of objects) - like these paper fruits in the photo below. Watermelon is suitable for crafts in the older group of kindergarten.

Origami

ON SPRINGS.

Here's another paper craft with a convex effect. Here the volume of the applique is conveyed by gluing in relief a strip of colored paper folded into three folds. like this autumn applique easy to do with your own hands - suitable for middle and older children (5, 6 years old).

In the center of the upper fold we cut a hollow and place the silhouette of an owl inside. So that the owl hangs at a distance from the back wall of the hollow, need on reverse side owls glue a paper spring. How to make a spring You will now understand using the example of the following paper craft with a volumetric effect.

Here below we see paper craft BEAR. The bear's paws are also glued at a distance from the body. And this distance between the paws and the body is achieved by gluing paper springs. Everyone made these spring worms when they were kids. Below we see a master class that shows the process of creating such a paper spring and the entire craft as a whole.

The BEAR craft is suitable for children 3 - 4 years old (if all the parts have already been cut out and the springs have been folded). Children 4 - 5 years old You can slowly cut out the silhouettes yourself. Children 5-6 years old already able to fold the springs ourselves (and The lesson can be divided into 2 parts– in the first lesson we make springs and cut out some of the silhouettes – in the second we finish cutting and putting everything together.

You can do any craft in the same way. Below we see that the tree crown is made according to this principle. But with the same success you can do a bunch of balloons on greeting card. Or bouquet of flowers made of paper, where each flower will be at its convex level.

You can highlight any details of paper crafts with a voluminous spring - bird wings, tiers of hedgehog spines (photo below).

Or hares in thick grass (spring craft in the photo below).

You can also make such a paper craft, using spring stands inside. It turns out beautiful effect. And also the legs-stands for multi-layer applications You can make it not from paper springs, but from purchased thick double-sided tape. They sell this kind of puffy tape - it has a thick, foam-like tape and it is sticky on both sides. It can be cut into stumps and glued between layers of crafts..

From such springs you can make not only applications, but also independent paper crafts. Make a spring and beat it with other paper parts. For example, attach an oval muzzle, round ears, paws at the bottom and a long stripe-tail - and now it all starts to look like a paper mouse.

But here are paper penguin crafts based on the same spring. Or bug crafts. In kindergarten there is always unused black paper in a set of colored paper - you always don’t know what to make from it - but here you have black bugs, penguins and little crows.

Origami

WITH A FAN.

Paper fans are often used in children's crafts as a way to quickly create the required form details. Most often, a glued fan is used as a tail for paper birds (or as wings).

The spread fan blades may remind you of wings bat. Children's craft on average age(4-5 years).

The fan looks like a lampshade table lamp– this means it will make an excellent DIY lamp craft (craft for children over 3 years old)

The fan can become the basis for children's crafts in the form fairy tale characters– friends of penguins or northern bears (craft for children 5-7 years old).

If we fold the fan in half - and bend its blades into 2 semicircles - and glue the meeting semicircles with glue, then we get a ROUND FAN.

From such a blank you can make many paper children's crafts. The simplest and fastest are apples (add a stalk and a leaf) or birds (add a wing, eye and beak).

Ready-made round fans are used in classes with children 3-4 years. And at the age 5 years The child is already given the task of creating such a round fan himself from colored paper.

By adding various details to a paper fan, we can get the image of any paper animal (a black cat, or a red, white bunny (as in the photo with children's crafts below).

All you have to do is teach your children how to make a fan with their own hands and practice several times. Then teach them to bend the fan in half and unfold both halves into two semicircles - and glue these semicircles with a glue stick. And then the children themselves will surprise you, they will throw up more and more ideas for crafts, turning a round paper fan now into a snowman, now into a mermaid’s bra, into the round red nose of a clown.

And if you make several round fans at once different diameters and string them on a wire - then we can get a three-dimensional spherical paper craft. The fan ball can become an apple, pumpkin, snowman, sheep, white rabbit and any other children's character.

Children's crafts

on an accordion stand.

There are some more original way make a craft for children from paper material. Below we see the principle of creating such a craft. We roll up a regular accordion from cardboard. And we use it as TIERS for sticking paper parts.
In the photo of the children's craft below we see how the accordion turned into a cake craft. Each row of the accordion is a tier of a cake with candles.

Note, it is not necessary to make the high side part of the craft in the photo below (where the balloons are).

In the same way, according to this principle, we can use rows of accordion trees like rows of fir trees in a forest. And between them put a deer or a snowman, or hide a bunny.
Rows of pots can be used as streets on which to place houses.
Or the rows of such a stand can be folded from blue paper and designed like SEA WAVES, and then all that remains is to stick dolphins or rows of boats on them. Or peeping sharks.

Origami

on a flat cardboard template.

And now we’ll look at crafts for children, where all the elements are glued on a silhouette cut out of thick cardboard.

For example, we take cardboard and draw the silhouette of a shark on it. Any child from 4 years old already learns to cut with scissors - he cuts out the silhouette himself with his own hands, slowly crookedly, but he should already myself cut along the line holding the scissors in a stationary hand, and rotate the sheet of cardboard as the cutting line rotates along the silhouette..

When the silhouette of a shark is cut out of blue cardboard, we give the child a round piece of white paper - the child’s task is to cut it into teeth (simply scribble the triangles obliquely with scissors, and then bend each tooth so that it protrudes inside the general circle. And this mouth made of paper remains to be glued onto the silhouette of the shark. And we will get awesome craft for children 4-7 years old. Sharks are great crafts for boys. Little brave souls will be happy to tame this dangerous sea predator.

The appliqué parts do not have to be made of colored paper. For example, the scarf on the polar bear below was cut from a cover of colored paper (the cover was checkered). And the carrot on the hare craft is white cardboard, which was first painted with gouache (yellow-orange-red stripes were painted).

You can see ideas for appliqués on a cardboard silhouette in children's cartoons, or in children's coloring books.

Such paper crafts for children 5 years old can become the basis for children's theater. If you stick on the back of each craft long handle made of thin wooden slats(can be bought in the construction department of the store) - or the handle can be rolled up from a sheet of paper and tightly wrapped with tape for density.
Children, hiding behind a screen and holding their characters on sticks, can perform plays entertaining parents and grandparents with homemade reprises of famous fairy tales.

You can also cut round holes in this craft for children’s fingers - then you can act out scenes from the TABLE THEATER. In the photo below we see a sheep and a hare made of paper with such slots for fingers.

And your paper characters can have a special FOOT GRIP, and you can insert candy or a pencil into this grip and little present to anyone.

By the way, Here good idea- such a character can be pasted on a postcard and give him the rolled up one in his paws 100 dollar bill- it will work out gift card with money for a friend's birthday.

Such crafts made from flat cardboard can be supplemented with FOLD elements (as on the bunny in the photo below), or TWIST elements (as on the snail below). Or additional ENTOURAGE elements (as with the cat below).

Children's crafts

with paper stripes.

You can also make the applique three-dimensional if you use PAPER STRIP LOOPS. Colored paper is cut into strips, and each strip is smoothly folded and glued at its ends. Such curved stripes can be the petals of a lush aster or a modest daisy.

Or such paper loops can serve plumage of a swan– left photo below. This craft is suitable for children aged 4 years and older. They themselves glue the already cut strips into loops and stick them in rows on the tail of the swan.

But the peacock (in the right photo above) is already craft for older children. For grades 1-2 - because in a kindergarten class, children will not have time to make a peacock from start to finish in 25 minutes. But in 45 minutes of a school lesson, children will cope with this task.

Please note that the peacock is made from paper from strips of different lengths. The yellow stripe is the shortest - it is the first to bend into a loop. Then the green strip is glued to the loop with one edge and is also bent to the place where the yellow loop-strip is glued. Then we do the same with a slightly longer blue stripe.

Thus we get EIGHT TRI-COLOR LOOPS for the peacock tail. They all stick together ribs to each other- in one bunch-bouquet. And at the joints of their gluing we attach peacock spots. Then we attach to the back cardboard silhouette of a peacock. Great creative craft.

Below we see how a flower craft is created using the same principle. We make the tail for our peacock in the photo above in the same way.

Or a paper craft for girls - SANDAL SHOES - here the stripes serve as straps to create a woven toe of paper flip-flops.

And if you cut strips of the SAME LENGTH, then it is convenient to make a spherical braid from them. Such a braid in the form of stripes crossed in a circle can serve as a shell for a turtle, balloon, or the middle lush flower or snowball from the snowman.

Or it could be a tasty apple bitten off from the side (left photo below). You can also put a worm made from a paper spring inside such an apple (see the method with a spring above).

If we glue the strips crosswise in the center... and pierce holes at the ends with a hole punch... and lift these ends with holes up... and collect them on a thread, then we will get a paper pear craft (look at the right photo above).

And if take NOT INDIVIDUAL strips - and cut a sheet of paper into strips WITHOUT CUTTING TO THE EDGE - like a long fringe. And then decorate this long strip fringe in the form of a paper craft-hat.

Using a similar principle, beautiful crafts are made from paper in the form cages with birds. This craft seems complicated only at first glance. But in fact, everything is available for children from 4 years old. And even a 3-year-old child can do it with the help of an adult who will show him where to apply glue and where to stick it.

Below we see this cell in the blank (photo master class). First this paper strips on a wide strip of base. Then we wrap the base into a ring. And we bend the strips sticking up into an arch, each relative to each other. A quick and easy craft. All that remains is to make a bird out of paper and hang it on a string under this paper roof.

That is, such a craft is easy to make with your own hands for children even 3-4 years old.

You can also make paper children’s crafts from strips BASED ON A BALL. A ball of stripes is collected on a needle and thread. Since you can’t give a needle to children, you can go the other way and use a hole punch to make holes in three places on each strip in advance - along the center and at two edges.

The strips are folded crosswise onto the central hole - a thread with a bead hanging from below is threaded into it. A large bead at the bottom prevents the strips from slipping off the thread. Next, several more beads are strung on the thread (look carefully inside the sheep, they are visible in the photo). And then the same thread is threaded through all the holes at the ends of all the strips - THIS IS HOW YOU GET A BALL. If anyone doesn’t understand, there is a photo master class in

You can attach any details to such paper balls, turning them either into frogs or hares (as in the photo of children's crafts below). With your own hands and your imagination you can make a wide variety of animals.

Craftswoman Tatyana made these chickens and a hen. What characters will you come up with? Such crafts from stripes can be carried out in 1st, 2nd, 4th grades of school. And it is also suitable for diligent children 5-6 years old.

Origami

using the QUILING technique.

You can also wrap paper strips in a tight roll. Then give this twist the shape of a petal or leaf and make paper flower appliqués with such twists. The technique is quite well known, called quilling. The technique is suitable for children from 5 years old, when the fingers are already dexterous enough to hold the twist on the holder rod.

Below we see how a regular round twist is given different shapes(press it with a finger the right parties) and the twist becomes teardrop-shaped or cup-shaped or triangular. And from such twisted modules we create a quilling applique.

Below we see children's crafts made from colored paper using this technique. You see, the paper consumption does not have to be large - the craft itself looks miniature and can decorate a handmade postcard. The child will be pleased to give his mother a handmade card.

Within a school or kindergarten, the time for doing such crafts is limited - and we can only make a few such modules. The process is labor-intensive for children's fingers and takes time. You can divide the craft into 2 lessons - in the first we do modules, in the second we form the craft.

Girls really like this children's craft in the form of a cupcake.

The cupcake and the bird are very quick craft as it does not require a lot of twisting. Children in grades 1 and 2 can make this craft - slowly, carefully twisting and gluing the tails of the twist.

But a bear or a bunny is already a paper craft for children who have gotten their hands on simple quilling tasks. For grades 3, 4, 5, this level of complexity of DIY crafts is just right.

Using the same principle, you can make larger twisted crafts - if you take not a thin cut strip, but a folded sheet of paper. Thick folding of the sheet will allow you to get large twisted parts and from them you can make large applique- for example, this penguin or owl made of paper.

And large twisted crafts are made from corrugated cardboard. Due to the ribbed relief, such corton forms wide three-dimensional parts and can be used to make 3D paper toys. Craft for the older group of kindergarten or for school (grades 1,2,3,4).

Origami

based on CONE.

A paper cone is also good base for kids craft ideas. We all made our own Christmas tree from a cone in kindergarten. And now we can make any character out of paper in the form of a cone craft.

To ensure that the cone is not too wide and not too narrow, its layout (flat pattern) should make an angle of more than 90 degrees - usually 120 degrees (as in the photo below) - that is, a third of a full circle.

For a giraffe, you can make the cone thinner and sharper. Then we will need a quarter of a circle (that is, not 120 degrees, but 90 degrees will be enough).

Origami
folded in half.

But here are children's crafts that are made from a sheet of paper that was folded in half and the silhouette cut out - in the end we got a double-sided craft with identical symmetrical sides.

And paper birds can also be made using the same technique. In the bird (pictured below) we see that the wings are a fan made of paper or napkin. And in the fold of the top part of the bird we make a slot and insert a fan there.

For animal crafts, elephant ears can be inserted into such a slot. And also, for example, a lion’s mane made of cardboard or thick paper.

To such FLEXED CRAFTS you can attach not only wings, but also a head - which will be perpendicular to the body. See the photo below with an example of a children's craft “Black Cat” made from paper.

The head of this cat is attached according to the same principle as the wings-fan of the bird above - ALSO IN THE SLOT. If you look closely you will see that the head has also folded, which divides the head into 2 planes (back and front).

THE BACK PLANE OF THE HEAD continues with the ears, AND THE FRONT PLANE OF THE HEAD contains the glued-on eyes and whiskers of the cat.

A slot is made in the back of the cat (like the bird above for the wings) - and the BACK PLANE OF THE HEAD is inserted into this slot. And the front plane simply hangs in front and does not fit into the slot.

A very simple paper craft for older children (age 5-6 years). And for children in grades 1-2 too great job with your own hands.

It is possible to provide crafts for such a scheme tummy supplement– like these hares below. To do this, you just need to draw additional branches of paper in the abdomen area, which then, after bending the silhouette, WRAP IN A ROLL and fasten with a stapler or glue.

You can slightly modify this principle of the craft - leaving the UPPER BACK AREA between the two halves-sides. That is, at the top of the part, make not one fold, but two folds at a distance of 1-2 cm from each other - this is how we get the back.

These cardboard (or thick paper) bears have just such a back.

And these paper birds (pictured below) also have a back. And thanks to this platform, we were able to provide the tail part (it became a natural continuation of the dorsal part of the bird).

Both birds and bears according to this scheme can be drawn in advance on a paper template, then this template can be traced on a sheet of cardboard by drawing in advance the internal fold lines (those that go along the back). And the child’s task is to embed the silhouette of the template and bend it along the internal lines. That is, the craft is accessible to children from 5 years old, and is suitable for middle and older groups of kindergarten and for school lessons on creativity and labor.

Origami

SIMPLE ORIGAMI.

For small children, it is difficult to make multi-step origami crafts. Therefore it is better to start with simple circuits, which are then supplemented with cut out elements, giving them a resemblance to the intended character. This way we will get some easy crafts.

You yourself, with your own hands, you can experiment with a piece of paper - fold it this way and that, and then think about what this folded piece of paper might look like... what if there are ears here, eyes here, and a nose here... wow, this looks like it could make a great MOUSE.

Here’s another simple folding of paper along diagonal lines that makes it possible to get a fold for the “Ladybug” craft. The spots and face can be drawn with a marker or cut out of colored paper.

The simplest thing that can be done Small child- this is to fold a sheet of paper into two folds and get base blank for a character made of paper, whose mouth opens, and therefore you can make him not only a muzzle, but also a mouth with teeth and tongue.

This children's craft is suitable for classes in paper construction in kindergarten. It requires double-sided colored cardboard or equally thick paper. It is good to buy office colored paper for such crafts - it has a higher density than standard children's colored paper.

Or children can make these easy ones with their own hands clamshell crafts. To do this, a sheet of paper (A4 size) is cut along a beveled diagonal. And then it is folded into 2 folds (to make 3 parts). The wide side of the folded paper is glued onto a sheet of colored cardboard and then decorated according to the design of the sketch.

Children's paper crafts.

DROP template.

If we fold a wide strip of paper with the ends together, we get drop-shaped twist.

Based on such a simple blank, you can also make the most different designs crafts - a whale made of blue paper, ladybug(glue wings to the drop).

From paper template It is convenient to make mice or a hedgehog in the form of a drop.

Can i add to such teardrop-shaped details on top round paper roll- to make a head. So even more options for simple and easy crafts - bunny, duckling, swallow.

Turn on your imagination and multiply ideas.

And if you connect a whole series of strips together like CHAIN LINKS, you can get such a green crocodile from paper loops.

And here's another simple crafts which are based on a wide strip bent into a ring or scaphoid shape.

In the craft with a boat - we first make holder at the bottom of the boat- it’s just a small rectangle of paper with small sides folded on both sides. And then to these curved sides we glue REAL BOAT SIDE BOATS MADE FROM BLUE PAPER. Rectangle with sides in the center will not allow the sides of our boat to collapse towards each other.

The craft is suitable for children aged 5 years and older.

And here is a children's paper craft, which also has white edges made of paper strips that imitate the body of a swan. Here the form holder is a roll of white paper rolled into a long tube. Craft for children 5-6 years old.

Crafts-cards

from paper.

And of course, if you like to make children's crafts from paper and cardboard, then postcard openers suitable topic For children from 3 years old. Ideas for opening crafts can be very different. For example, an aquarium with fish. Or a Valentine craft with spring birds.

You can make a simple children's craft in the form of a castle - the gates of which will be opened for boys by knights and soldiers, and for girls by beautiful princesses hidden inside a paper bastion.

Crafts-cards can be a great gift for March 8, made with your own hands. For example, this cup with tulips. The handle for the cup can be cut out as a separate piece and glued to the side of the mug.

Or you can make an apron craft with carved lace from paper (lace can be obtained from ready-made paper napkins, or cut out a snowflake from paper, trim its lace edge and we will get a border for the apron.

You can cut out the silhouette of a can on a craft and cover it with a thin layer of file (with double-sided tape). And also glue a paper pocket ( back wall crafts) and put a heart in this transparent front pocket.

Here's another technique VOLUME CARDS. It's simple. Fold a sheet of paper in half. And on the edge of the fold we make 2 cuts scissors (any length and width). And then we simply push the space between these cuts inside the postcard with our FINGERS - and it PULLS OUT in the form of such a rectangular stand.

And now we stick any element onto this stand. For example, a cupcake.

If you make three pairs of such cuts and push them with your finger inside the card, then you can glue a cupcake to each of them. And on top there are flags. Here is a simple children's craft and it's ready. Interesting and non-standard.

First, practice on a piece of regular sheet - bend it in half, cut it twice and push the cut part inside. You will see that it is simple.

And you can show your children the same thing. And then on such a stand (already pushed inside the postcard) you will stick any craft (butterfly, dinosaur, rocket).

Any original ideas can be implemented in this technique voluminous postcards. That is, this is another field for children's fantasy paper crafts.

The longer you make paired cuts, the further the stand strip inside your card will be curved. You can see this in the example with the postcard craft in the photo below.

Craft openers can have a surprise in the form of a clamshell fan. Under such a folding bed you can decorate a peacock with a bushy tail.

Of course, such a complex carving (as in the photo below) is difficult for a child. But for children, you can simplify any idea - let the fan not be carved, but simply cut out the peacock spots separately and stick them on the fan blades.

Or the clamshell inside the postcard can be in the form folding chain of symmetrical elements– butterflies, flowers (that is, the main thing is that there is symmetry of the folds).

We cut out any identical details - butterflies, flowers, hearts. The main thing is that the left half and the right are like a mirror image of each other. And then these parts can be glued in halves to each other (not all halves should be coated with glue, but only the outer edges). And then we will get a multi-colored accordion of parts. And paste this accordion into the postcard. Also a beautiful craft - moths, bright against a dark sky background.

These are the ideas I collected and systematized - for your future paper crafts. I am sure that now you will not only be able to repeat the crafts presented here with your children, but also CREATE YOUR OWN WORKS using each of the proposed METHOD.

After all, when you understand the method, and when you see that it allows itself to be widely interpreted - multiplying the same technical idea in the form of the most various crafts– then you just have to CONTINUE THE CHAIN OF IDEAS.

And I wish you the most original creative finds. And the children will be very happy to implement them in the most diligent and inspired way.

Good luck with your children's crafts.
