On September 23, from 12:00 to 16:00, the Hermitage Garden will host the Emerald Grapes holiday dedicated to the culture of the Republic of Moldova. The event will traditionally be held with the support of the Government of Moscow and the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova

Viticulture has been practiced on the territory of Moldova since time immemorial. It is not surprising that grapes have become a cultural symbol of Moldova. The Emerald Grapes holiday will introduce Muscovites and guests of the capital to the unique culture of the country, its traditions, customs, cuisine and entertainment. During the whole day, the Hermitage Garden will become a kind of miniature of Moldova in the center of the Russian capital.

Moldovan pop artists and folk groups will perform on the main stage, performing both modern and original Moldovan music. Here you can get acquainted with traditional folk crafts and buy souvenirs.

Moldova is located in a fertile region for growing vegetables and fruits. This leaves an imprint on the originality of the national cuisine. Although Moldovans also love meat dishes, which are generously present in traditional cuisine. Guests of the "Emerald Grapes" holiday are invited to taste traditional Moldovan dishes and delicacies.

Children and their parents are invited to the celebration. Especially for all young visitors from 3 to 10 years old, a "Playground" will be organized. The venue will delight guests with children's performances, face painting, circus performances and soap bubble shows.

The first Moldovan festival-fair "Emerald Grapes" will be held on Rozhdestvenka Street. Its program includes creative meetings with such well-known cultural figures as Eugene Doga, Mihai Munteanu, Vladimir Tiron, Nadezhda Chepraga, Svetlana Toma, and other talented artists.

Festival visitors will taste national delicacies, get acquainted with the works of Moldovan composers, poets, writers, take part in master classes and competitions, discover fiery melodies and theatrical performances of the Republic of Moldova.

During the festival, Rozhdestvenka Street will host the following programs:

Children's cartoon program "Masterpieces of Moldavian animation" (musical film "Maria, Mirabella", films "Maritsa", "Two neighbors" and others);

Moscow premiere of the book "My Chisinau", the heroes of which are many famous cultural figures of Russia (Vadim Derbenev, Alexander Oleshko and other artists will perform at the meeting);

School of Moldovan winemaking with master classes for everyone;

Festival of the Moldovan harvest (fair of goods of Moldovan manufacturers);

Literary program, within the framework of which Russian and Moldovan poets will perform and a book fair will be held;

Concert of music and dance groups (folk music orchestra BALKAN-TRANZIT, Olga Kyshlaru, Vazgen Hovhannisyan, Alisa Zaichenko and others);

The 50th anniversary of the legendary film Krasnye Polyany by Emil Loteanu and creative meetings with cinematographers Svetlana Toma and Vadim Derbenev.

The gala concert dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Republic of Moldova will be attended by Evgeni Doga, Mihai Munteanu, Vazgen Hovhannisyan, BALKAN-TRANZIT and Nadezhda Cepraga.
