How to knit a sweater with sequins. White pullover with sequins

Crop top - cropped top, from my favorite yarn with sequins (I bought a whole ton, so this is not the last master class from it :)

The idea for this top came from one of my students. Olya suggested that from such yarn you can knit some kind of very perforated vest to wear over a white shirt in the office and thereby diversify a boring look, and again, in these sequins, you can safely run right after the end of the working day to dates and meetings with friends. I changed Olya’s idea a little, and instead of a vest, I got such a cropped top.

So, what do you need to own such a stylish thing:

Yarn with sequins Sade Novita about 1.5 skeins;

Circular knitting needles No. 5.5 40 cm and 80 cm;

Markers - 4 pcs.;

The ability to cast on loops, knit facial loops, make air loops, close loops (if you have already knitted a bactus, then, of course, you can perform all these simple actions).

We will knit with raglan from above in a circle, with front stitch (all loops are front).

Registration of the raglan line: raglan line - 2 (two) loops; perform additions along the raglan line in every second row using air loops before and after the raglan line; on the next row after the row with additions, knit the chain loops with the face crossed (to avoid large holes).

On the photo size S (width 42 cm, length 40 cm, raglan line length 20 cm).

On circular needles No. 5.5 (length 40 cm), cast on 64 loops, knit in a circle and knit 2 circular rows with front loops.

On the next row, hang markers (I use threads of a contrasting color) every 16 sts, the first marker is the beginning of the circular row (the beginning of the circular row corresponds to the beginning of the back fabric). Each marker separates a raglan line. Accordingly, additions must be made before each marker and 2 sts after it.

Detail of the first circular row with additions:

Hang the marker on the right needle, 2 l.p. (raglan line), air p., 14 p. persons. (back), air p., outweigh the marker, 2 l.p. (raglan line), air p., 14 p. persons. (right sleeve), air p., outweigh the marker, 2 l.p. (raglan line), air p., 14 p. persons. (before), air p., outweigh the marker, 2 l.p. (raglan line), air p., 14 p. persons. (left sleeve), air p.

Next round:

Hang the marker on the right needle, 2 l.p. (raglan line), front crossed from air, 14 p. persons. (back), front crossed from air, outweigh the marker, 2 sheet (raglan line), front crossed from air, 14 p. persons. (right sleeve), front crossed from air, outweigh the marker, 2 sl.p. (raglan line), front crossed from air, 14 p. persons. (in front), facial crossed from air, outweigh the marker, 2 l.p. (front raglan line crossed from the air, 14 p. persons. (Left sleeve), front crossed from the air.

The second circular row with additions:

Hang the marker on the right needle, 2 l.p. (raglan line), air p., 16 p. persons. (back), air p., outweigh the marker, 2 l.p. (raglan line), air p., 16 p. persons. (right sleeve), air p., outweigh the marker, 2 l.p. (raglan line), air p., 16 p. persons. (before), air p., outweigh the marker, 2 l.p. (raglan line), air p., 16 p. persons. (left sleeve), air p.

Next row - knit all facial, and from the air - facial crossed.

Continue knitting, making additions along the raglan lines in every 2nd row. When the number of loops becomes very large, switch from short needles to 80 cm circular needles.

When you make 20 additions and the total number of loops is 224 (54 p. back, 54 p. right sleeve, 54 p. before, 54 p. left sleeve and 8 p. - raglan lines) close the loops of the sleeves, and the loops of the back and Combine in front in a circular row, picking up additional loops for the undercut line.

Detail:

Remove the first marker, 2 l.p. (raglan line), remove the marker, 54 p. persons. (back), remove the marker, 2 sheets (raglan line), dial 4 p. (in any way, you can use air p.), close 54 p. of the right sleeve, remove the marker, 2 l.p. (raglan line), 54 p. persons. (in front), remove the marker, 2 l.p. (raglan line), cast on 4 sts, close 54 sts of the left sleeve. Continue to knit the body in a circle (124 p. in total). After 34 rows, loosely close all loops.

This description can easily be adapted to knit tops in other sizes. You can use needles No. 6-8 and the top will be more transparent. If you dial not 64 p. But more (a multiple of 4), the cutout will be deeper. To increase the size, along the raglan lines, you can make not 20 additions, but more. You can also increase the number of undercut loops.

I want to draw attention to the next point. The scheme of distribution of loops, when we allocate the same number of loops to the back, front and sleeves, is only suitable for knitting sweaters with very wide sleeves or ponchos. For standard sweaters, the number of loops in the back and front should be about 3 times more than the number of loops in the sleeves.

I hope that this master class will inspire you and in a couple of evenings you will be able to flaunt in a stylish crop top :) Well, if this model does not suit you, share it with your friends, maybe they will like this idea :)

Good luck!

How to knit a white pullover.

Back: on the knitting needles with a thread without sequins, dial 72 p., knit 3 cm with an elastic band 1x1. Next, knit faces. stitch, while starting to knit with a thread with sequins and evenly replace it (1 st in each row) with a thread without sequins. When changing threads, twist them from the wrong side. sides to avoid holes. At a height of approximately 35 cm, all loops should be knitted with a thread without sequins. At a height of 42 cm from the armhole elastic, close on both sides in each row 2.1.1 p., Then in each 2nd row another 1.1 p. Next, knit straight 15 cm. Then close the middle 18 p. .and finish each side separately. To round the neckline, close on the inside in each row 1,2,1,1,1 p. Close the remaining shoulder loops in one go. Pattern

Completing of the work

Back

Cast on 88 (96) 104 sts on needles with a cruciform set and tie 23 cm for the strap with an elastic band.

Continue with front stitch.

After 13.5 cm = 36 rows (12.5 cm = 34 rows) 12 cm = 32 rows from the bar close for armholes on both sides 1 x 4 p., Then in every 2nd row 7 x 1 p. = 66 (74) 82 p.

After 35.5 cm = 96 rows (37 cm = 100 rows) 38.5 cm = 104 rows from the bar, close all the loops, while the middle 38 p. form the neck, the outer 14 (18) 22 p. - shoulders.

Left shelf

Cast on 44 (48) 52 sts on needles with a cruciform set and tie 23 cm for the strap with an elastic band.

Continue work as follows: hem, 14 (18) 22 sts with front stitch, 28 sts with structural pattern, nodular hem (= knit front in each row).

Run along the right edge, as on the back.

At the same time, decrease for a V-shaped neckline inside pattern 3 17 loops acc. scheme.

At the height of the back close the remaining 16 (20) 24 sts of the shoulder according to the figure.

Right shelf

Knit in the same way as the left shelf, but in a mirror image, for this, after the strap, start with 1 knotted edge, then knit 28 p. with a structural pattern, while reading the loops of the diagram from left to right and instead of knitting 2 loops together with a slope to the left, now knit 2 loops together front, for reductions for the neck, knit vice versa, finish 14 (18) 22 sts with front stitch and 1 hem.

Sleeves

Cast on 48 (52) 56 sts on needles and work 23 cm in rib for band.

At the same time add for expansion on both sides in each 20th row from the initial row 3 x 1 p. acc. pattern and in the 60th row from the initial row, evenly distributing, add another 0 (4) 8 p. = 54 (62) 70 p.

Continue working with an openwork pattern.

After 22.5 cm = 56 rows from the bar, close the sleeves on both sides 1 x 4 p., Then in each 2nd row 5 x 1 p., In each 4th row 6 x 1 p. And again in every 2nd row 2 x 1 p., 1 x 2 p. and 1 x 3 p.

After 40 cm = 100 rows from the bar close the remaining 10 (18) 26 p.

Assembly

Run shoulder seams. Sew on the sleeves, complete the side seams and the seams of the sleeves.

For 3 buttonholes, fasten the thread with a crochet hook on the right shelf at the beginning of the neck bevel from the inside on the 1st loop from the edge and work a chain of 6 ch, * skip approx. 0.5 cm edge with 2 conn. Art., perform a chain of 6 ch, from * repeat 1 time and fasten the thread; cut the thread and fasten off.

Sew buttons to left front.
