Circular jacquard crochet patterns. Crochet jacquard, knitting patterns

Authors: Karina and Jessica. We suggest crocheting a bag. We chose different colors for our case: sea, water, sky and sand. Therefore, our name of the bag: "Sand and Sea". This does not mean that you will only use it as a beach bag. Our bag is also perfect for shopping and for all occasions where you don't need to be formal. Threads are wool. Hooks - 4 mm (bag bottom) and 4.5 mm (bag walls). Start knitting the bottom with the "magic ring". Prepare a thread with which we will mark the beginning and end of the row. We will knit the bottom until we reach a row with 144 loops. Changing the color of the thread is always in the last loop of the first color. So, let's begin!
The bag is round at the bottom. Crochet 6 sc in a circle. Row 1 - 2 sc in each st = 12 sts Row 2 - 12 sts inc, i.e. 2 sc in each st = 24 sts Row 3 - do not increase Row 4 - 12 sts, 2 sc in every other st = 36 sts Row 5 - does not increase
Row 6 - 12 sts, inc every third st = 48 sts Row 7 - do not increase Row 8 - 12 sts, increase every fourth st = 60 sts Row 9 - color change, do not increase
Row 10 - change color to light grey, 12 sts, inc every 5th st = 72 sts Row 11 - do not increase Row 12 - 12 sts, 2 inc every sixth st = 84 sts Row 13 - do not increase Row 14 - 12 n, increase in every seventh loop = 96 p Row 15 - color change to green, does not increase Row 16 - 12 p, increase in every eighth loop = 108 p Row 17 - does not increase Row 18 - color change to light gray again, 12 sts, inc every ninth st = 120 sts Row 19 - change color to green, do not increase Row 20 - change color to light gray again, 12 sts, increase every tenth st = 132 sts Row 21 - do not increase
Row 22 - change color to turquoise, 12 sts, increase in every eleventh st = 144 sts Row 23 - change color to light gray again, no increase The bottom of the bag is ready. It has a diameter of about 28 cm. Change the hook now to a thicker one, i.e. 4.5 mm. We begin to knit the walls of the bag.
Row 24 - knit only in the back half of the loop and thereby mark the lower rim of the bag.
There will be no more increases. Each of the following rows has 144 loops. Row 25 - RLS in gray Row 26 - RLS in gray Row 27 - the same Row 28 - the same
Rows 29 - 33 here is the first pattern - this is knitting in two colors. Please note - a non-working thread is tied with a working thread and there are no broaches on the wrong side. In the photo - the front side.
This photo shows the reverse side.
Row 34 - sc light gray Row 35 - sc light gray Row 36 - turquoise Row 37 - turquoise Row 38 - turquoise
Row 39 - change color Row 40 - white Rows 41-48 pattern 2 (squares)

Thus, the pattern looks like four rows. Please don't worry if all the squares move slightly to the right. It's not you, it's how you crochet.

Now it's time to repeat the monochrome series again: Row 49 - change color Row 50 - continue to knit Row 51 - RLS gray Row 52 - RLS gray Row 53 - RLS gray
Rows 54 - 57 - continue knitting according to the 1st pattern.
There is one more thing and it is important! Some complain of joint pain or blisters on the fingers. It is advisable not to crochet too much! Spare your hands! After triangles and squares, we will now crochet whales. Gray whales in turquoise waters.
The last two rows (56-57) were white, now they go straight to the pattern:
Rows 58-66 - whale pattern.
After the whale, we knit again: Row 67 - color change Row 68 - the same Row 69 - color change Row 70 - the same
This is a photo of the bags of those people who are now knitting with us.
But there are some other important notes about the bag.
Some bags have a different pattern instead of whales (cats, birds) and are larger than whales. Please try on your bag and stand with it in front of a mirror. How tall are you?
next... will be the waves. Waves and birds or cats or elephants don't go well together. The waves are no longer suitable"/images/attach/c/11/116/570/116570301_zhs28.jpg" alt="(!LANG:zhs28 (700×257, 166Kb)" /> Шаблон. !}
Row 71 - the same Rows 72-79 - wave pattern. Rows 80-81 - color change
Row 82 - 6 sts in gray, 6 sts in green
Row 83 as Row 82
We knit pens. We look at the photo.

The MK that I bring to your attention is quite suitable for knitting not only a beach bag in the style of "Colombian wet". You can knit anything with crochet jacquard. But beach bags made of polypropylene turned out to be very popular. Why is polypropylene good? A bag is washed out of it by simply rinsing in the sea, the canvas from it is not inferior in strength to a tarpaulin, it is light and unpretentious in everyday life. The only negative, of course, is a completely non-environmental material.

To make such a beach bag (bottom diameter 25 cm, wall height 38 cm, capacity ... like a bucket, no less - it will include a towel, bedding, a bottle of water, cream and a lot of everything small, but necessary on the beach) I use polypropylene yarn Raffia from the manufacturer Adelia. On the Internet, when you search for "polypropylene yarn" you can see a similar product from different manufacturers. Everything is good, there are no special features of this particular company, I will say more: quite suitable yarn can be made from plastic bags. Cotton yarn or viscose will also work well. Its thickness should be approximately 400-350 m in 100 g. Not suitable yarn, the threads of which are stretched or springy. They won’t fit because it will not be easy to connect a flat bottom and vertical walls from them. Only with some experience and skills in crocheting jacquard. For such a bag I need about 250-300g of yarn.

About hooks. I knit with thin hooks, I have a thickness of 2.0 in general, there are no hooks in the household. Here I used a 1.35 Clover hook.

You will have to knit very tightly so that the columns (single crochet) are one to one in height, well tightened. A bundle of colored threads (bourdon) will be hidden inside the columns. These threads should be evenly and evenly (over the entire product !!!) stretched and tightly wrapped around the working thread, which is used to knit a single crochet.

I start knitting the bottom with a ring of 5 VP, which I tie with 9 RLS. At the stage of the second row, I immediately put into work all the threads used in the ornament. I do this so that the bottom is tight and that the size of the columns is the same everywhere. Then I knit a circle in a spiral, according to the laws of knitting a circle - in each new row I add 8-9 columns, making sure that a flat part is obtained. If the bottom bends, then most likely the number of added columns in the extreme rows is not enough. Another reason is also possible: you pulled the bourdon threads through the columns too much, so the edges are pulled together and the bottom becomes arched or concave. The fix is simple: you need to dissolve a couple of rows and bandage without errors.

With a bottom diameter of 25 cm, the work should be turned away from you and knit one row in the opposite direction, then turn the work again and knit one row in the same direction as at the beginning of knitting. This is in order to get a piping, from which we will continue to knit the walls in the same way in a spiral, but without increments. At a height of 30-32 cm, you need to tie 4 holes for the lace, and then tie another 5 cm to the top of the bag.

Now about how to change the color of the thread in the course of knitting to create uniquely colorful and cheerful ornaments (knit a column for both half-loops of the previous row):

The front side looks like this:

The back side looks like this:

.

We knit a handle about 1 m long (so that you can not just put it on your shoulder, but wear it through an oblique fathom - it’s more convenient). You can knit a large ring in a spiral, and then cut it, you can knit a VP chain about 80 cm long and tie it on one side and the other in a spiral with 6-8 rows of columns with a bourdon inside - then you don’t need to cut anything. Any decor will go - knitted balls, beads, tassels - whatever the soul asks for!

It turns out quite bright and joyful, especially when looking into the bag on a sunny morning:

That's all the tricks. it remains to add that VP is an air loop, RLS is a single crochet.
Bonus - several ornaments (in 1 cell there are two columns without a crochet):

Everyone have a great summer!
Thank you for reading))).

Do you know how to knit multi-color patterns - crochet? It's crocheted, not knitted. Today, under the heading "Handmade Tricks", Inga Terentyeva shows knitting techniques for two-color jacquard crochet, the word is Inge

Jacquard knitting is knitting with threads of two or more colors. At knitting jacquard patterns It is formed by alternating in one row of loops of different colors. As a rule, jacquard is performed with facial loops. If, in addition to the front loops, the purl loops are also included in the pattern, it turns out “bohus”, the tradition of which originated in Sweden and is very popular in the Scandinavian countries.

With all my love for jacquard knitting, lately I have been very interested in jacquard performed crochet. This technique opens up a lot of opportunities for needlewomen. For example, Todd Paschall crocheted these patterns

For me, this is aerobatics. There are technologies that are simpler, but no less spectacular. For example, Tapestry crochet is a tapestry, crocheted, or mosaic knitting. This technique came from South America and has now conquered the whole world.

Crocheted baskets, pillows, summer bags with a unique, only yours, pattern. Personally, I fell ill with this and urgently begin to master it. At first I plan to use two colors and a simple pattern.

Take threads of two colors and a hook. I used 100% wool, 250g/100m and a 3mm hook.

1. We collect 4 air loops and connect them into a ringlet. We tie with 7 columns without a crochet

2. We knit 2 single crochets in each loop - 14 loops

3. In the first loop we knit 2 columns with a crochet, in the second 1 column without a crochet

When knitting crochet jacquard a non-working thread (red in this photo) is located inside the loop, as if tied with a working thread

4. It turned out a row with loops alternating in color

7. In the next row, from 1 red loop, we make 2, etc.

An interesting pattern began to emerge with an offset in a counterclockwise direction. I don’t know yet what will happen as a result, maybe a beret, or maybe a bag. The main thing to knit bicolor patterns crochet It turned out to be quite simple and very interesting.

The world of needlework is great and diverse, there is a place in it for sewing, knitting, and embroidery. One of the new and popular trends in handmade is soap making. At home, on your own, using only natural natural ingredients, you can make soap, creams, gels and shampoos with your own hands. In the Ukrainian store of materials for creativity "Handmade Studio" you can buy a wonderful soap base, which is of high quality and excellent characteristics

Last week I promised to lay out patterns for jacquard circles.I myself haven’t knitted on them yet, haven’t checked, but at first glance the patterns are good, clear, the colors are well marked. The additions to the circle are also clearly visible - an additional loop between the two in the previous row, I think that's understandable.

Empty circle for self-formation of the pattern:

I saw a lot of schemes - beautiful, bright, but, most importantly, circular for beadwork. Many publish them as schemes for circular jacquard. But where they come from - I didn’t know until I met a link to the EasyBeadPatterns program on Facebook. The program is freely distributed and downloaded from the link. The advantages of this program are similar to all programs for converting images into embroidery schemes.

What makes this program different from others, if we take into account exactly the lovers of crochet jacquard, and even more narrowly - the lovers of tapestri (multi-color jacquard using the usual sbn). ONLY IN THIS PROGRAM I met a circular pattern (rosette) with eight-beam symmetry - this is just what you need for tapestri, since the usual number of increases in a row is eight. An attempt to translate some of the smallest drawings into a decent scheme is circular, I ended up with abracadabra ... BUT ...

But! the program allows you to draw beaded yourself. For me, the ability to also print just an empty circular diagram is important.

I have always made diagrams in Word tables, and this is much more labor-intensive - now, apparently, I will switch to a more productive way using the capabilities of the EasyBeadPatterns program.

My beloved Country Moms, I welcome you to a new online dedicated to knitting Mochila bag (Colombian bag with a round bottom and a handle over the shoulder) using crochet jacquard technique. Wetted a great variety of ornaments and colors, so each of us will be able to choose the design that she likes best and is more suitable for the style of the owner of this wonderful and multifunctional bag. Here are just a few examples of colors from the everyday classic range.

It makes no sense to post all the pictures in the post, so choose the model you like in the album http://www.stranamam.ru/album/9868504/
For Mochila, you can also use any embroidery patterns you like. You just need to take into account that when knitting Mochil, as a rule, no more than five colors are used, that is, if you take an embroidery pattern as a basis, then it should not be very complex and multi-colored. Here is a good program that converts any pattern you like into an embroidery pattern, which is also suitable for jacquard http://www.pic2pat.com/index.ru.html

First, let's deal with the design of the bag itself. Everything is simple here: first we knit a round bottom, and having reached the desired width, the walls of the bag are knitted without increments. In one of the last rows, holes for the cord are knitted (8-12 pcs). At the end, a strap is woven, for example, using the macrame technique. That's actually all!!!
Now everything is the same only in more detail.

JACQUARD HOOK (Tapestry Crochet):
There are many ways to crochet jacquard, but we will consider only a few of them: knitting with a single crochet in turn rows, single crochet in a spiral, in a split and knitting for the back half loop. All these methods are united by the fact that they are all knitted with a single crochet without broaches, that is, auxiliary threads (bourdon) are laid inside the loop.

Let's consider each of the methods separately:

1. We all know how to knit in turning rows with a single crochet, while the fabric is knitted from the front and back sides. The advantage of such knitting is that the pattern does not mow, but the disadvantage is that the image is not clear, blurry.

A method of turning knitting, in which the pattern is clear and not blurry, actually also exists. But not everyone will like it, because every second row is performed with the left hand. Carol Ventura mastered this method to perfection and showed it in her MK. This interesting woman, who has a degree in arts, travels around the world, exploring various types of national arts. Carol writes art books and has a crochet jacquard blog http://www.tapestrycrochet.com/blog/ where you can learn a lot.

The knitting method with the left hand is certainly not for the faint of heart, but it may come in handy for someone.

2. But after all, you can also knit with a single crochet in a circle, but the whole problem is that due to the structure of the column, the pattern in circular knitting strongly mows to the right side, which breaks the symmetry and knocks down the horizontal lines. It is possible to knit jacquard in this way, but only with proper adjustment of the patterns.

3. Knitting in a split - what is it. This is a method of knitting a single crochet in which the hook is inserted not under the head of the column, but between the "legs" (into the letter V). A column connected in this way is often also called a "Vest coat" (English Waistcoat Stitch, Waist - vest). The disadvantage of knitting in a split is that they knit only in a circle or with a thread break, and it must also be taken into account that the fabric with such knitting is very dense and heavy.

4. And finally, the fourth way is to knit a single crochet for the back half loop. As simple as it is, it is just as brilliant. In my opinion, this method is the most successful - the fabric is not as dense as when knitting in a split and the columns do not mow, as when knitting in a spiral. The image has pronounced borders. And according to some craftswomen, the hands do not get tired as much as from knitting into a split. And this, you see, is an important aspect. And as I have already noticed, Mochils are knitted in this way. And I was going to knit in the same way. You can choose the most suitable method for you.

BOTTOM:
And so, we figured out the types of jacquard knitting, now let's talk about the bottom.
Traditionally, the bottom is knitted in a spiral without lifting loops. In order to know where the end of the row occurs, it is necessary to mark the last column of the row with a marker (pin, contrasting thread). And in order for the circle to turn out flat and not "excite", you need to observe the "Law of the Circle".

According to this rule, we need 6 increments in a row, but when knitting a circle with jacquard, the increments are usually made not 6, but 8, because the rows are much higher due to the auxiliary threads (bourdon).
If all increases are done clearly one over one in each row, the result is a polyhedron. In order for this not to happen and the circle still remains a circle, it is worth shifting the increases in each row by 2 loops, as shown in the picture below. To do this, simply mark with a marker so as not to get confused (thread, paper clip or pin) the end of the row. And when you finished the row on the last (marked) loop, knit one or two offset loops. The marker, respectively, is also shifted by one or two loops. Now knitting continues in exactly the same way as knitted in a circle, but the beginning of the row will now be the place to which we reached by knitting one or two additional loops in the previous row.

In order to prevent the bottom from sagging, if desired, it can be laid with a clothesline. Or tie 2 pancakes and lay a circle cut out of a plastic folder between them.

The bottom, as a rule, in these bags is as painted as the bag itself. You can use the diagrams above. Well, if someone wants to draw up a diagram himself, then you can print the blank (see a little higher) and draw by hand what your heart desires.

For clarity - a video on knitting a circle with jacquard. Here you can not only see how jacquard is knitted and the threads change, but also in practice to see what the split knitting method is like.

Another trick.
If several balls are used at the same time during knitting, then they always strive to get confused with each other. So, to prevent this from happening: you need to take liter cans, in quantity equal to the number of skeins. And put in each ball. At the same time, the jars must be constantly twisted or, even easier, rotate the knitting clockwise and counterclockwise.

HANDLE/STRAP:
There are also quite a few options for weaving or knitting a handle:
1. The handle can be simply knitted with jacquard, just like the bag. Such a handle turns out to be quite dense and does not stretch. If desired, you can still strengthen it with braid / tape on the back. It is best to knit along, that is, pick up a chain of air loops along the length of the future handle and tie to the desired width. You can knit each row from the beginning, that is, cut the threads and knit the next row in the same direction. In this case, you can leave the tails of the threads longer in the form of a fringe. If desired, the edges are hidden in the seam between the bag and the lining. Or pick up the central chain from the VP, and knit a rectangle around the chain, add a few loops at the ends in the corners, as when knitting a square. Another version of a knitted handle in a circle (in a spiral), which is then cut. In the place where the incision is planned, knit a chain of 10 air loops, and turn the resulting tails of thread along the edges into a fringe.
2. Handles made using the macrame technique are very beautiful, dense and do not stretch at all. I won't talk about the technique itself. If someone weaved baubles in childhood, they will easily remember, and if they weren’t fond of it, then it’s also very easy to learn ... the most important thing here is not to get confused. This site has a lot of useful information and diagrams for macrame.

It is in this way that the craftswomen of the Wayuu tribes weave their hands.

Threads. The Indians knit their Basts from pure wool, but any thread will do: wool, wool mixture, acrylic, and of course cotton. Footage: 250-300m per 100g. For a medium-sized bag (bottom diameter 28 cm, height - 35 cm), an average of 300g-400g is spent, hook 2-3. I can’t give specific names, because I am NOT familiar with the Russian assortment of threads !!!
I will be knitting in cotton Catania von Schachenmayr 125m/50g (blue and white). Brown thread Merino Extrafine 120 von Schachenmayr 120m/50g. Hook 2.5.

I will knit according to these patterns

Knitting allows you to create unique things that can attract attention. Schemes of which are presented in large numbers on the Internet and in print publications look original and original.

Description

Jacquard patterns include patterns made with yarn of two or more colors. The first option is considered traditional. At the same time, classic combinations of white with blue, black, and red were chosen.

Most often, pattern patterns contain various geometric shapes, elements of animals and plants. Depending on this, several types of drawing are distinguished:

The basis of the Norwegian jacquard is made up of patterns of snowflakes and deer;

Meander jacquard is represented by ribbons (stripes) from right angles;

Icelandic designs use stripes of geometric shapes, which are most often seen on products knitted in a circle;

Ethnic jacquard is made up of various folk drawings.

In addition, jacquards differ in technique: classic and lazy, crochet or knitting.

Multi-color patterns are ideal for decorating warm clothes. However, they are successful in both men and women. Children really like products with cartoon characters and fairy tales.

Schemes

If desired, any needlewoman will be able to master knitting jacquard patterns. Schemes are used without fail. Therefore, it is important to understand them and be able to read.

For jacquard, special schemes are used. Each cell in them corresponds to one loop. When knitting, most often empty and filled cells are used in the pattern. When using yarn of several colors, each of them can be marked with any shade or in black and white explanations with some icon.

When jacquard patterns are knitted, the charts contain both knit and purl rows. In this case, in odd numbers, the drawing should be performed from right to left, and in even numbers, vice versa. If knitting is carried out in a circle, its pattern is always read only from right to left.

Features of jacquard knitting

Many people think that it is very easy to make a jacquard pattern because it does not contain any complex elements. Yes, and knitting is carried out only with two main loops - facial in odd rows and purl in even.

However, this is fundamentally wrong. The difficulty lies in achieving such a thread tension at which the broaches on the wrong side do not tighten the fabric. Or you will have to master one of the knitting techniques without long broaches.

You can make the job easier by following a few things:

1. There are two ways to hold the threads: all with the index finger of the left hand or in this hand, hold only the main thread, the rest with the right hand.

2. To obtain a smooth edge, knit with two threads that are in work.

3. So that the threads do not twist, you should follow the rule: after the front row, turn the work clockwise, after the wrong side - against.

4. When choosing yarn, pay attention to the thickness. Even when using a different texture, it should be the same.

5. To avoid the formation of holes in the place of color change, the threads must be crossed.

Knitting options

When knitting jacquard patterns, patterns always include patches of different colors. The classical drawing technique suggests that in places where one color is used, broaches of another are formed. In this case, the difficulty lies in the careful tension of the thread. If it is too tight, the knitted fabric is deformed, if it is too weak, the extreme loops of the fragment may turn out to be too large. The following method will help to achieve the correct tension: by straightening the loops on the knitting needle, the knitter determines the desired length of the thread being pulled.

You can avoid long broaches if you use the weaving method. In this case, the unused thread intersects with the main one, lying on it. Knitting should be tight enough so that the extra thread is not visible on the front side.

There is also a method that completely eliminates the appearance of broaches. It's called lazy jacquard. In this case, two rows are knitted with a thread of the same color. If at the same time the loops of another come across, they are simply removed. In the front rows, the main thread remains behind the canvas, in the wrong rows - in front. The next 2 rows are knitted in a different color according to the same principle.

intarsia

Prefer knitting (jacquard patterns)? Schemes usually contain small periodically repeating elements. But there is another option for performing multi-color drawings, which is usually called intarsia.

This technique is used when the elements of the pattern are large enough, and allows you to completely get rid of broaches. This is achieved by the fact that each colored section is knitted from a separate ball. When changing threads, they intersect.

It is important to note that the use of this technique in circular knitting is extremely difficult. In this case, you have to break the thread each time, and reattach it in the next row.

crochet jacquard

Needlewomen who do not like knitting needles should not despair if they like any jacquard pattern patterns. You can also crochet colored fabrics.

In this case, two approaches can be used. In the first case, broaches are formed on the wrong side of the knitted fabric. But products in which they are absent are much more beautiful. At the same time, it is not difficult to avoid broaches: it is enough to hide the unused thread under the knitted columns.

For a long time, jacquard patterns have been one of the most popular knitting patterns. It is easy to make their own schemes. By the way, there are a large number of programs that allow you to do this based on any drawing.
