Materials and tools:

- office paper;
- colored or wrapping paper;
- scissors;

This year my youngest daughter entered first grade. And on Teacher’s Day, I decided to congratulate her class teacher with a gift made using my favorite suite design technique.

Actually, the gift itself is quite traditional - a box of Korkunov chocolates. But its design will be unusual, one might even say unexpected. I decided to turn a box of chocolates into... a cool magazine (gift edition). I hope the teacher appreciates my mother’s efforts. :)

So, take a box of your favorite chocolates and start creating.

First of all, you need to unpack the box and take out the candies. We will return them to their place later.

Cover the box with thin double-sided tape.

Glue a sheet of colored paper onto tape. We leave allowances.

Cut off the corners as shown in the photo. Fold and glue the edges of the paper...

Glue pieces of tape (ties). Cut out a rectangle from paper the size of the box lid, but smaller by 0.5 cm on each side. Glue the sheet to the inner surface of the lid.

Take a suitable tape and tape the edges of the box. Thus, we hide the joints and decorate our future cool magazine.

We put the candies back into the box.

I glued a printed congratulation to the inner surface of the lid and decorated it with braid.

We design the magazine cover to your liking and use your imagination. Here, for example, you can create a decorative composition from pencils, rulers, artificial flowers, or make a candy composition. It is glued directly to the box. That's all! A cool magazine made from a box of chocolates turns out quickly and looks impressive. Try it! :)

Moreover, even a simple sign of attention should not only be beautiful, but also express a sincere attitude towards the gift. To create such a “Cool Magazine” we will need:

• a box of chocolates that opens like a book;
• several sweets in individual packages;
• corrugated paper of different colors, including gold or silver;
• glue, scissors;
• toothpicks or short wooden skewers;
• double-sided tape;
• thick double-sided colored paper or colored cardboard;
• satin or nylon ribbon;
• a piece of polystyrene foam or polystyrene foam;
• beautiful ruler, pen and pencil for decoration.

Decorating a box of chocolates with your own hands

We take the candies out of the box and cover it with golden corrugated paper on the outside and inside.

We carefully glue the corners and sides of the box, as shown in the photo.

We glue the ribbon ties using cosmofen type glue.

The inscription with the words “cool magazine” and your class is printed on a printer in a beautiful frame. Cut it out and glue it onto the cover.

In the lower left corner we glue a piece of polystyrene foam or expanded polystyrene measuring approximately 5 by 5 cm.

We attach small strips of double-sided tape to a ruler, pencil and pen.

We fix them on the box.

We stick candy flowers into a piece of polystyrene foam. See how to make such flowers in this master class. You can additionally fix them with glue.

Five colors is enough, otherwise the lid will become too heavy.

We print out a drawing of leaves of different sizes on colored paper or do it by hand. Cut it out.

We lay several pieces on the box and secure them with glue.

We add several ribbons to the flowers. You can do more, but then the design of the composition can end there.

I decided to add another sprig of rowan berries.

And we complete the decor with colored leaves. We also glue them to polystyrene foam.

And if we look at the students’ observations, we can understand that on this day teachers are the happiest and most cheerful people. The evening of such a holiday usually ends with teachers going to concerts prepared for them by talented students. • Sweets that will have a pyramidal or barrel shape.
• Double-sided tape and glue.
• Foil, scissors and colored paper.

Work progress:

1. Details for the future product are cut out of pink and yellow paper. You need a base and an eraser. The base folds into a large accordion.
2. A stick is made from candy barrels. And the tip will be replaced by a pyramid candy. The candies are attached to each other using double-sided tape.
3. The candy strip that was made is wrapped in colored paper. As a result, you will build a pencil that will have an eraser. In order to determine the eraser area on a pencil, you need to use a thin strip of foil.

Work progress:

1. The candies are taken out of the box and it is covered with golden-colored paper. This should be done inside and outside. In this work, special attention should be paid to the corners, which are glued quite carefully.
2. Inside the box there may be congratulations, as well as sweets. This product will look very elegant.
3. At the next stage, ribbon ties are glued.
4. Now you need to print the inscription “Cool Magazine” on the printer. Be sure to make a beautiful frame. After that, we cut it out and glue it onto the magazine.
5. At the bottom left corner of the magazine you should glue a piece of foam plastic. Its size should be 5x5 cm.
6. Now glue small strips of double-sided tape to: a pen, pencil and ruler. After which they should be secured to the box.
7. You need to stick flowers into a piece of polystyrene foam; they can also be additionally used with glue.
8. It is worth depicting autumn leaves on colored paper. It is worth choosing bright paper for this. Then the leaves are cut out.
9. Different leaves on the box and glue with glue. You can additionally glue other elements to the flowers.

On October 5, Teacher's Day was celebrated throughout Russia. This holiday concerns not only teachers, but also their students. Each class strives to congratulate its teacher and do something nice for him.

In this article I will tell you how to decorate a box of chocolates as a gift for your class teacher. The box will look like a class grade book. Inside there will be a congratulation in verse from the students to the teacher.

- a box of chocolates with a lid that opens to the left
- corrugated paper
- leafy decor
- pencil
- pen
- ruler

- hot glue gun

Glue a couple of white sheets to the top of the box. This is done so that the inscription does not show through the packaging.

Congratulations must be pasted onto the inside of the box. (I wrote a short poem, designed a sheet and printed it out. In addition, I had to print out a sheet on which the names of all 2nd grade students were written.)

After all this, we wrap the box with corrugated paper. We glue the paper with double-sided tape. And glue the edges with hot glue.

To mask the edges of the paper, use satin ribbon.

After this, you need to design the front of the box. Glue the inscription.

Place a ruler, pen and pencil. We secure them to the magazine using a strip of corrugated paper.

Decorate the box with decorative autumn leaves.
