Почему подростки выбирают субкультуру?

Culture is the total of the inherited ideas, beliefs, values, and knowledge, which constitutes the shared bases of social action, the total range of activities and ideas of a group of people with shared traditions, which are transmitted and reinforced by members of the group.

Subculture is a subdivision of a national culture or an enclave within it with a distinct integrated network of behavior, beliefs, and attitudes.

Guess the type of subculture:

Punk – a youth movement of the late 1970s, characterized by anti-establishment slogans and outrageous clothing and hairstyle.

Goth – (of fashion) characterized by black clothes and deathly white make-up.

Mod – member of a group of teenagers in the mid-1960s, noted for their clothes-consciousness and opposition to the rockers, a member of a revived group of this type in the late 1970s and early 1980s, noted foe their clothes-consciousness and opposition to the skinheads.

Raver - a person who leads a wild or uninhibited social life, especially attending “Rave” parties.

Biker – a member of a motorcycle gang.

Skinhead – one of a gang of white boys characterized by closely cropped hair, heavy boots, and braces, and a nationalist and racist agenda.

Psychedelic or psychedelic – relating to or referring to new or altered perceptions or sensory experiences, as through the use of hallucinogenic drugs denoting any of the drugs, esp. LSD, that produce these effects.

Man-made sounds in the environment punctuate our days. Sounds of the neighbors’s lawnmower are easily distinguished from the roar of an airplane, the ring of the telephone, or the hum of hairdryer. We often use words to describe sounds and to help them become more permanent in our minds. Words like “roar”, “scream”, ”clang”, “crash”, “bang”, and “pop” make us think of loud sounds while words like “hush”, “hum”, and “whisper” remind us of soft sounds. We can use our voices to produce these sounds that we all know.

Some composers are fascinated with man-made sounds and work to imitate those sounds in their music. In “The Typewriter”, an American composer , Leroy Andersen, uses orchestral instruments to imitate the sounds of an old-fashioned manual typewriter. Instruments take turns, imitating the clicking keys and an occasional bell of the return. Another American composer, George Gershwin, uses an actual car horn sound in his piece, “An American in Paris”. This helps to portray an image of a busy city street.

Music of the twenty-first century is filled with music produced by machines – that is, by synthesizers and other electronic instruments. We hear it on CDs, in movies, in elevators, on radio and TV, and even in music that is performed live. These machines produce an electric sound signal that goes along a cable to an amplifier and loudspeaker. Many new sounds have been created and processed by synthesizers and other electronic instruments. Almost every instrument, in every style (including solo voice and choir), has been imitated by these machines. Computer software is now used to help process synthesized sounds.

One of the most popular electronic instruments today is the electronic keyboard, which is played like a piano or organ. Control buttons on the instrument allow the player to select all kinds of imitation instrument sounds. Other control buttons allow a person to choose rhythms or accompaniments in a variety of styles. In this way one person with a machine can produce the sounds of a whole group. Groups of electronic keyboards can work together to create ensemble music, or individual performer can produce ensemble music by recording each part of a separate track and then playing them back all together.

For years composers have used acoustic instruments and voices to imitate the sounds of machines. Now some composers use machines to imitate musical instruments and even the human voice. We can still hear the difference, however.

Period of life of every man, when he is a teenager, is very difficult and important. Man chooses way of life, forms beliefs and system of values. Teenage years open self-reliance or nonreliance in man. I think subculture is formed by confident, interesting people. Such people are named rebels. Teenagers want to be similar with their idols. They have superficial opinion, knowledge about subculture. Authority is very important thing for teens. Authority, his image live in the head of teen, it helps to know about priopritets, ideals, desires of teen. If parents are authorities, it is well and teen won`t occur on bad situation.

Is every subculture a bad company? I think not. Many people think that subculture is a company with stupid severe teenagers. Splin, gormons, doubt of teenage years influence on choice of subculture. Teen can show his individuality, teen expresses diagreement with parents and the world. If teenager belongs to some subculture, it means he doesn`t see comprehensin from parents, teachers, other people. But teen can be curious and he enters the subculture, because it`s interesting and fun.

I don`t think that subculture is a universal evil, because it doesn`t bring death and a lot of tears. I hope what teens, who belong to some subculture, wiil have seek in life. And they will remember about heir teenage years with smile and without bitter regrets.

Подростковые годыоткрывают в человеке самоуверенность или неуверенность в себе. Я думаю, что субкультура формируется уверенными, интересными людьми. Таких людей называют бунтарями. Подростки хотят быть похожими на своих кумиров. Они имеют поверхностное мнение, знание о субкультурах. Авторитет - это очень важная вещь для подростка. Авторитет, его образ живут в голове у подростка. Он помогает узнать о приоритетах, идеалах, желаниях подростка. Если родители - авторитет для подростка - это хорошо, тогда ребёнок не попадёт в плохую компанию.

Но каждая ли субкультура плохая компания? Я думаю - нет. Многие думают, что субкультура - компания глупых, жестоких молодых людей. Хандра, гормоны, сомнения подростковых лет влияют на выбор субкультуры. Так подросток может показать свою индивидуальность, подросток выражает своё несогласие с родителями, миром. Если подросток принадлежит к некой субкультуре, это значит, что не видит понимания со стороны родителей, учителей, других людей. Но подросток может быть любопытным ивходить в субкультуру потому, что это прикольно.

Я не думаю, что субкультуры - это вселенское зло, если она не приносит много слёз и не приводит к смерти. Я надеюсь, что подростки, которые принадлежат к какой-то субкультуре, будут успешными в жизни. И они будут вспоминать о своих подростковых годах с улыбкой и без горьких сожалений.

«Субкультуры в России» - Фактически рэп можно назвать мелодекламацией. Отсюда и название тусовок – «Ангелы ночи», «Ночные волки». Готы. «Панк» – так раньше называли на уличном жаргоне проституток.
