DIY flowers made from satin ribbons in a basket. Satin ribbon basket

A quick way to create an original basket for the holiday table in honor of Easter! Now serving “krashenki” will be doubly pleasant, and guests will definitely remember such a gift for a long time.

To make a small basket with your own hands, prepare the following materials:
plastic container with a volume of 300 ml;
7 meters of wide satin ribbon (2 cm wide);
4 meters of satin ribbon of a similar shade, but slightly worse (width from 0.8 cm to 1 cm);
a strip of any cardboard, 40 cm long (this can be either a solid sheet of colored cardboard or scraps of any packaging container);
dense fabric for processing the bottom;
universal polymer glue;
scissors;
a sewing needle and, accordingly, threads of the required tones;
2-3 types of colored ribbons for creating small additional elements.

Before starting work, first prepare the base for the basket. To do this, carefully cut out the bottom and get rid of the hollow top margins (if any).

Next, wrap the middle part with tape, placing each new strip tightly on top of the previous one.

Try to move in equal steps so that the distance from one edge of the tape to the other is always the same. At the end of the winding, sew the cut edge of the tape using a needle and thread (it is better to sew inside).

Now you can start covering the bottom. Fabric, as well as an ordinary needle and thread, will help us with this.

Cut a round piece from the fabric with a small seam allowance, which you then sew along with the plastic bottom along the entire circumference.

Then mask this outer seam with tape attached to polymer adhesive.

There is no need to glue the bottom for a long time or somehow strengthen it. It is enough to simply insert it inside and enjoy the completed stage of work, because now only a little remains.

Cut a 2-3 cm strip of cardboard, tighten it tightly with a wide ribbon and sew along the center of its edge.

After this, sew the finished handle to the bottom of the basket with the seam facing out. And now the basket is ready.

All you have to do is decorate it and you can safely show it to the public. To do this, take a narrow ribbon and sew along it with even stitches. The thread needs to be pulled a little so that the ribbon begins to look like ruffles.

Next, carefully sew these ruffles along the entire perimeter of the top edge and trim off the excess.

Use the rest of the tape to hide the seam on the handle, gluing it with polymer glue.

A bright bow on the handle, which can be tied from any thin braid, will look nice. The bow will also help to “outline” the front side of the product, which will make it more solemn and ceremonial.

Now you need to fill the basket with “greens” (you can use fabric, faux fur, “Grass” knitting yarn and even natural dried moss). On a green background, paints look very natural and natural.

1. Since the article is about a magnet, such a product must be flat. But we will only make the base flat - the basket itself, and the roses, of course, will be lush and believable. Cut out a basket template that interests you; it can be any shape. Find out the sizes yourself.

2. Cut out 3 baskets of the same shape: 1 from cardboard, 2 from felt. Glue the 3 parts together so that the cardboard remains inside and is not visible. Run a strip of tire along the edge of the composition, singeing the protruding threads.

3. Cut out a paper template for a beautiful bow. Using it, make the main blanks from foamiran. It is better not to draw on foamiran with a pen; they usually draw on the foam surface with the tip of a toothpick.

4. Glue the bow together. It should be voluminous. Glue it at the top of the basket handle, moving it to the side from the center.

5. Now you can move on to the most delicate part of the work - creating rose petals. Singe the prepared pieces of satin in soft pink, pink and hot pink colors.

6. Now look at photo 6 to see how you can model the petals of the desired format.

7. Make 25 petals from pieces of ribbon of each color. Do not mix the petals together, let them be spread out in front of you in portions.

8. Make pointed petals for the bottom of the buds using green satin ribbon. Bend the pieces in half, cut with hot metal and open.

9. How to make a rosebud from a satin ribbon. Start twisting the prepared piles of petals into buds, fastening them with a glue gun.

10. Each rose will require 25 parts, so they will turn out very lush and beautiful.

11. Select pointed leaves from all the double green parts and glue 5 pieces to the bottom of each bud. The sharp tips should barely peek out from under the delicate petals.

12. Glue the flower arrangement onto the basket.

13. Add a couple more highlights that will not interfere with the overall appearance of the composition, but, on the contrary, will decorate it. To do this, you can use a half bead on a bow and a bug.

1. Let's start with daisies. Prepare a yellow felt circle for each flower, a piece of fluffy chenille wire for the middle, and also model oblong petals according to the diagram shown in photo 1. You can cut out a circle without any problems, and also trim the fluffy wire and twist it into a spiral. But when making a petal, you need to act carefully, because the delicate white ribbon needs to be singed, while making sure that the satin does not melt or darken. Round each strip on one side with scissors, singe it, then fold the base, as shown in photo 1.

2. Each daisy must be composed of three layers to make the flowers lush. Glue the layers onto the yellow felt circle step by step, then decorate with a fluffy center. A pair of wonderful wildflowers to decorate the basket is ready.

3. Let's move on to creating duchesskas. These flowers will be made of satin ribbon in white, blue and dark blue, and you also need to add bunches of blue stamens. Photo 3 shows how to make petals. The scheme at the beginning is similar to the previous one. You need to cut off one side of each strip, singe it, but at the end assemble it in a slightly different way. Take a closer look at how each petal is gathered into a double fold at the base.

4. Prepare for each flower 5 white, 6 blue and 6 blue petals, a bunch of three double-sided stamens. Glue the petals around the circumference in layers. Then assemble three duchess into a composition.

5. Next in line are simple red wildflowers, consisting of sharp inverted kanzashi petals. Photo 5 shows that to model such flowers it is necessary to use squares of satin ribbon. Fold each square diagonally, again vertically, round the structures and turn them outward.

6. Collect 5 petals into a flower. Place pink stamens inside. You will also make designs from thin wire and pink beads. Thread the bead onto a piece of wire and twist the ends. Gather 2 flowers and 1 bead into one piece, fastening the ends and wrapping them with green tape.

Greenery

7. Now let's move on to the greens. In the proposed version, 2 types of leaves were used: ordinary droplets folded from thin strips of satin ribbon, as well as pointed quadrangles. Making parts of the second type is a little more difficult; for this you will need a hot soldering iron. Fold the prepared wide green satin ribbon in half, then run the hot metal diagonally. Assembly

8. Let's move on to assembly. On a wide strip of felt, glue green pointed leaves along the entire length along the edges, and attach long ties on both sides. Remember that the proposed design is intended to be attached to an Easter basket.

9. Attach the duchess models along the edges, adding leaf loops to them.

10. Next, prepare two daisies; glue a small bug in the center of each. Supplement the third bush of duchess with three pointed leaves and also green loops. Also attach two details with red wildflowers to the central composition.

Necessary materials:
1. Blue satin ribbon (width 2.5 cm) – 2 meters.
2. Blue felt circle (width 3.5 cm) - 2-4 pieces, depending on the thickness of the felt.
3. Two elastic bands.
4. Cotton threads: white, blue and black.
5. Stamens of three colors.
6. Lighter or candle.
7. Scissors.
8. Thermal gun + rods.

Please note that this master class offers two options making cornflowers, namely the center. It can be made either with threads or with stamens. It is faster and more convenient to make cornflowers with stamens, since the threads fall out over time.

Take a blue satin ribbon. Measure a piece 4 centimeters long.

Now fold the piece in half vertically and make a triangular cut (V-shaped). When you unfold the leaf, you will get cloves like this.

We treat the edges of the cloves with fire.

We make one fold at the bottom of the petal, gluing them with the help of fire to the base. We will need about 22 petals for one flower.

Take a felt circle. Glue the first row of 10 petals.

Having retreated 0.5 cm from the bottom edge of the petal in the first row, we begin to glue the second row. In the second row we will have 7 petals.

In the third (last) row there are 5 petals.

So let's consider the first design option for the center of a cornflower.

Take three spools of thread. Unwind 15 cm from each reel. Clamp the three strands together.

Wind about 20 layers.

Then cut the threads on both sides. We get this shaggy bun. It must be tied in the middle and glued to the center.

Option using stamens will be simpler and more aesthetically pleasing. Take stamens of three colors.

We will need a middle: any cabochon or half bead. On the reverse side we glue the stamens, cutting the thread on them in advance.

Add the rest of the colors.

Glue the center to the center of the flower.

We glue a rubber band on the back side (read about the nuances).

Necessary materials:

1. White satin ribbon (width 5 cm) – 70 cm.
2. Green satin ribbon (width 2.5 cm) – 80 cm.

4. Decorative stamens of yellow and bronze color - 12 pieces.
5. White hair bands (3 cm) – 2 pieces.
6. White felt – 10*10 cm.
7. Scissors.

Let's get to work. Let's start with the leaves. Take a green satin ribbon. Measure 4 centimeters and cut. For each flower we will need 10 green leaves.

Fold the leaf in half and cut off the top corner.

Then fold it in half again (wrong side in) and seal the cut line with a lighter. Then tuck the ends at the bottom of the leaf and also glue it together using a lighter.

Now let's start making the flower itself. The leaves of narcissus buds have a specific leaf shape, slightly pointed. So take a white satin ribbon. Cut 12 squares 5*5 cm.

Cut out the petal.

We bend it in half and lightly glue the upper part with fire.

Then, just like on the green leaves, we bend the bottom edges and glue them together with fire.

The center of the daffodil is yellow or orange. It depends on the type of flowers. We'll make a bright orange accent. For this we need a satin ribbon (2.5 cm wide). Cut out a square 2.5*2.5 cm.

We cut out the leaf; its shape should be wider at the base and rounded. No sharp corners or sharp bevels. To make a daffodil we will need 6 of these leaves (three for each flower).

We process the edges with fire, slightly spreading the fabric in different directions to give it a waviness.

Using a heat gun, glue the first two petals together.

We place the stamens in the central part and glue the third, remaining orange leaf.

We connect the white petals together slightly with an overlap.

Place an orange one in the center of the white flower. Glue it. Press carefully.

Cut out circles with a diameter of 3 centimeters from white felt.

Starting from the center, glue on the green leaves. This is the first row.

Then glue on the second row. Also five leaves.

All that remains is to place our daffodil in the center.

And glue a white rubber band on the back side, securing it with a rectangular piece of felt.

basket with a diameter of 15 cm;
several newspapers;
satin ribbons 5 cm wide in white and scarlet;
toothpicks;
heating gun and glue sticks;
silvery petals, they are sold on high branches;
white thin ribbon (1 cm) for braiding the handle;
red rhinestones, two of them in the shape of hearts.

At the first stage, we begin to twist roses from satin ribbons. To decorate such a small basket you will need 7 flowers - 3 white roses and 4 scarlet ones. For each kanzashi flower Exactly a meter of satin ribbon is wasted, so the ribbons need to be divided into meter sections.

Place the satin piece on a flat surface, wrong side up. Fold the edge at an angle and begin twisting inward.

An important step is decorating the basket handle. Wrap a thin ribbon around the handle, the distance between rounds should be about 1 cm.

At the next stage, we roll the newspapers into a tight bundle. Each layer must be crushed and then “swaddled” in the next newspaper.

Place the paper in the basket and press down on top so that the sheets fit snugly into the basket.

Carefully stick the created roses into the layers of newspaper; if a toothpick cannot penetrate the thick paper layer, then first make holes with a thin knife.

First, decorate the middle of the basket with snow-white roses.

Then add a little passion to the bouquet.

Four scarlet roses decorate edges of the composition and should fall slightly over the edge of the basket.

When the flowers are distributed over the top of the basket, insert silver petals between the outer flowers and secure them with glue.

The edges of the roses are also glued together, otherwise they may lift up, and then the gap from the newspapers will be visible.

At the last stage, decorate the handle with red rhinestones.
