Classic hair flower technology

Before trying to repeat this hairstyle using a video or photo tutorial, you should pay attention to some nuances that determine the success of the event:

  • Firstly, the requirement for length- the curls should reach the shoulder blades or fall a little lower, since this is what determines the splendor of the finished flower and the number of its petals. But the density does not play a special role, since the parts are stretched out, becoming flat and wide.
  • Secondly, it is recommended to work not on a freshly washed hair, otherwise the hairs will fall apart in your hands and hold their shape very poorly. Or, if there is a need to refresh the roots, be sure to choose a mousse with natural fixation for the main fabric - a strong one will give unwanted gluing.

Auxiliary tools and accessories - pins and bobby pins in large quantities, an elastic band (preferably with hooks), a thin comb for partings with a knitting needle handle, duck clips without teeth, varnish for good fixation. Before starting work, it is recommended to familiarize yourself with the training video in order to accurately track the direction of movement and position of the hands.

  • Comb the entire mass of hair back, in the middle, just below the top of the ear, pull it into a ponytail: the choice of area is very important, since it determines how attractive and harmonious your hair rose will look. You shouldn't lower it too low (at the back of your head) unless you plan to place it on the side. High, it looks impressive only when it is a small detail of another hairstyle, which will be discussed in more detail later.
  • In the upper part of the tail, select a fairly wide (1.5-2 cm) strand, comb along the entire length, lightly smooth with natural bristles and treat with varnish. Don't pour - just spray and iron again. After this, wrap it around your index finger, forming a snail, place it over the elastic band and remove it from your finger. To keep the shape unchanged, secure it with bobby pins at the head. This will be the center of the hair rose.
  • Now comes the turn of the petals; They will be created according to the same principle, so if you understand how to make the first one, you will be able to handle the rest. The movement occurs from the center in a spiral outward. Separate a new strand from the tail (again up to 2 cm) under the previous one, smooth it with natural bristles and treat it with varnish. At the very base, grab the strand with a duck clip, pointing its end inward, and laying the strand itself flat so that it looks up and is perfectly taut. Holding it flat to the head, draw it around the base (about half its arc) and hide the tip under it, securing it with a bobby pin.
  • Just below the used strand, separate a new part of the hair of the same width and lay it step by step according to the algorithm discussed above, but hide the tip a little earlier: about 1-1.2 cm. Then you can either work in a spiral, continuing to add petals at the center, or finish completely with the left side and move to the right. Regardless of how you do this, do not forget that the parts of the separated hair should be the same width, and the size of the petals should become smaller as they move away from the core of the flower.

After all the details have been laid out, you will need to make the final touches: carefully holding the area adjacent to the head, pull out the outer edge(arc) of the petal, thereby expanding it.

If there is a classic rose hairstyle, then there must be modifications of it. Since the traditional look of this styling is completely collected strands, changes often relate to the availability of free mass. Thus, a flower can only be a small detail that decorates a large bun or loose curls on the side, as well as a Greek braid and other curl-based styles.

  • Classic rose - semi-closed, the outer petals no longer lie on the surface of the head, but are almost perpendicular to it. However, you can do the opposite option, with the petals turned outward. To do this, after forming the core, work begins with the external parts, gradually narrowing the circle; Accordingly, strands from the tail will be taken not from the center, but from the edge.
  • Express options for this type of installation also exist: for example, you can lay out a flower and from braids. Divide the tail into 3 equal parts, braid each of them into a classic braid, the links of which must be carefully pulled to the side, making them flat - these will be the petals. Start twisting each braid one by one at the base of the tail, securing it with bobby pins on the inner sides of the links.

Hairstyle “Delicate Lotus”:

To create this flower you will need:
  • rubber;
  • foam and wax for styling;
  • large curlers;
  • bobby pins and stilettos;
  • original accessories;

So, wash your hair, apply foam, dry. Then roll with large rollers. Depending on the type and structure of your hair, choose the optimal time to hold the curlers on your head. On average, half an hour is enough. Gather the ponytail and secure it with an elastic band. If you have bangs, you should separate them and leave them for later styling. Divide the hair in the ponytail into several curls. Take one of them, wrap it over the elastic band and secure it with a bobby pin. As a result, you should have an odd number of strands left in your ponytail, which will act as petals for our lotus. The more petals you get, the more beautiful the flower will be. Gently lubricate each curl with wax, comb a little at the base, and then gracefully wrap it under the base of the ponytail and secure with hairpins. Artificial flowers, decorative hairpins, and other accessories would be very appropriate as decoration for this hairstyle. Don’t forget to spray the resulting masterpiece with varnish.

How to make a flower out of braided hair?

This flower looks most interesting on its side. Separate a section of hair from the side, lightly wax it and divide it into three strands. Start braiding a regular, loose braid “in reverse,” that is, the curls here will run along the bottom. During the braiding process, skillfully pull out symmetrical “loops” from the braid. Secure the end with a thin silicone rubber band. Next, wrap the braid around its axis, securing each turn with decorative pins. The remaining hair can be wrapped in curlers or, on the contrary, smoothed with an iron. At the final stage, spray the flower with varnish.

Hairstyle “Floating Roses”:

Style clean hair into soft waves. During the styling process, use a brushing comb, which creates additional volume. Divide your head into several zones. First, the back of the head from the crown to the ears. Secure the part that has formed in your front with a large clip. The area at the back of the head also needs to be divided into several triangular-shaped parts. The length of the base of the first figure should be 5 cm. Gather the created strand into a low ponytail, twist it into a loose braid and place it on top of the ponytail with a rosette. Secure the element with pins. Then select another triangular-shaped area, with a base of 4 cm. Comb the hair of the second part towards the first element and also twist a rope from it, thus forming a second rose. From the left side of the back of the head, separate the third zone. It should be slightly larger in size than the previous two. Comb it well, forming a smooth ribbon. Then twist the hair into a braid, placing the element above the second rose, and secure with hairpins. Do the same with the remaining zones. Now you have a part of the hair left unclaimed in the front. Divide them into two parts. Comb the hair on the left side back and form another flower on the upper back of the head. Comb the hair on the right back and down, twisting the rose next to the right ear. Fix the finished hairstyle with hairspray.
