INTRODUCTION
This course work will reveal the technology of modeling and performing hairstyles in the avant-garde style in hairdressing.
The development and improvement of hairdressing art is closely connected with the evolution of human society, the growth of the level of culture. Hairdressing combines several basic methods of working with hair: washing, drying, cutting, curling, coloring.
At all times, hairdressing has been aimed at beautifying the appearance, making it more attractive.
In the era of the ancient world in Assyria, Babylon and Egypt, trained slaves performed various types of work that are still performed in hairdressing today. For example - bleaching hair, making wigs, cutting.
And today, style and fashion is a hot topic. It is very difficult to decide what is fashionable and what style prevails.
There are many different fashion trends, but we must not forget that each person is individual, and thus it differs from others in its originality in style and fashion trends.
In modern fashion, a small touch is of great importance, giving a special charm to a hairstyle - it can be a corrugated strand on smooth hair, a disheveled bang, a highlight. Shiny, even sparkling hair is extra fashionable, which is achieved with. using varnishes, emulsions and bleaching. Today, symmetrical smoothed hairstyles do not look. Lush, slightly tousled hair is more suitable for modern clothes, a frantic pace of life, but this effect is achieved through a special haircut.
Also, the style today is absolutely natural, plus perfect functionality. No hairstyles, chained in lacquer shell, hair fluttering freely in the wind, reminiscent of both protruding feathers and petals of a flower that has just blossomed.
You can match long and short hair, avant-garde and romantic styles, straight and wavy strands in one hairstyle. You can and should experiment not only with color, but also with the shape of the haircut. And then this hairstyle will be considered the most fashionable. The purpose of this course work is to reveal the technology of creating an avant-garde style.
1. Theoretical part
Hairstyle is the form and way of hair styling. Hairstyles are made on the basis of short, long or medium length hair. Hairstyles retain their appearance throughout the day with the help of hair styling products, which include varnishes, mousses, gels. A beautiful hairstyle, correctly selected for the type and length of hair, combined with the oval of the face and with a certain style of clothing, can emphasize many of the advantages of its owner, including good taste.
At the turn of the millennium, there is a complete freedom of styles, trends, tastes. What fashion is expected in the future? One of the best hairdressers in the world, Frenchman Jacques Dessange, the owner of hundreds of hairdressing salons around the world, believes that there is no fashion for hairstyles now, a lot depends on the lifestyle and character of a person. Everyone wears what he likes. So, future hairdressers should be ready to offer the client whatever he wants, and for this you need to know the history of hairdressing, study it, collect information about the masters and their creative finds, and at the same time look for your own style and direction in hairdressing. Only under this condition can the master's own creative individuality and originality be manifested.
The history of hairdressing goes back thousands of years. Oddly enough, the hairstyle appeared in primitive society much earlier than clothing. Already in the 5th millennium BC, people paid considerable attention to hair care. A hairstyle in the distant past not only adorned a person, but sometimes was a sign of profession, social origin, nationality, and in special cases even political affiliation. Each era brought something new to the development of hairdressing, which reflected the life and customs of each people, people's idea of beauty.
1.1 Choosing a hairstyle starts with the shape of the face
Naturally, the hairstyle should match the oval of the face and the type of figure. A frail girl with lush curls that optically press down on her figure looks funny, or a tall, large girl with a small head - and short haircut like a match. Therefore, you need to remember: any fashionable hairstyle must be selected for your appearance, and not vice versa.
In the case when an oval face, you can afford arbitrary extravagance, dissonance, as it will go well with any hairstyle.
Face shapes are (see figure 1):

In modeling work, hairdressers mainly work with an oval face, since you can experiment with this type of face and not be afraid.
A round face requires an extended hairline or straight hair, slightly hiding the cheeks on the sides. Short hair and bangs also look good. If the hair is long, then it is optimal to pick them up from the back. In any case, it is impossible for the hair to be sleek on the top and sticking out behind the ears.
An oblong face looks best with a fluffy hairstyle that sticks out a little behind the ears. Hair can be pulled back or simply cut in line with the ears. This hairstyle looks good with straight bangs. With an oblong face, it is undesirable to wear hair that is not too long (not even straight of medium length), nor too short. You should also avoid an elongated line: high coca or protruding hair at the crown.
A triangular type of face will go the same hairstyles as an elongated one. At the same time, one should try to optically “complete” the face at the level of the chin. But it is allowed to raise the hair on the top of the head. The bangs should not be straight: it is better if it is, as it were, scattered.
A pear-shaped face requires a hairstyle that expands the forehead and narrows the rest. Any perky bangs or slightly dissonant ones (for example, with a diagonal parting) look good here.
The face of a rectangular shape, or square, "does not like" either hair strictly combed over the forehead, or pulled back. Hairstyles are suitable for him from hair of medium length, lush, gently falling on the sides of the cheeks. They make the face more spicy. The top of the head must be, perhaps, smooth. And here the hairstyle is good, slightly raised on the sides and bent from the ears.
If the forehead is too high, then a hairstyle with bangs or half bangs will look good; if it is too low, it will be more advantageous with an open forehead and hair pulled back or at the top of the head (any kind of “ponytails”). The figure shows several of these types of faces:

1.2 Style in hairdressing
Style is a certain unity of the image, where form and content do not contradict each other. The concept of "style" is used to characterize a major era in the development of art (a painting in the style of impressionism), various architectural trends (a building in the Gothic style), and finally, characterizing clothes, one can note a certain commonality of the form of expression (in cut, silhouette, model, texture fabrics) in various products. This allows us to call them unified in the stylistic decision. Each person has his own style, and each one is unique in its own way. Someone expresses his style with bright colors, and someone expresses it with calm tones ... Today, some styles develop in clothes, others are born and die, it is simply impossible to describe all of them. But still, several of them can be distinguished, having characteristic features and steadily existing in modern clothes.
Style is a competitive, wall, complex fashion of an era in which fashion expresses the economic situation, political views, the development of culture, attitudes towards the outside world. The formation of a person's individual style can be influenced by literary images, paintings, images of movie characters, concepts from the world of music, especially dance, which in our time often give rise to entire stylistic trends. The characteristic features of these trends are found in the individual styles of different people.
The most traditional styles today are classical, romantic, sports and folk (or ethnic).
Classic hair style.
It takes into account everything: the expediency of the shape of the hairstyle, and the correspondence of its volume to the figure and proportions of a person, etc. That is, a style limited within the period in which it was formed, in compliance with all traditions and values. It is characterized by restraint and rigor, a minimum of details and decorative finishes. The lines in the hairstyle are simple and concise. Often this hairstyle style is expressed by such a concept as "elegant" style.
Sports hair style.
This style is characterized mainly by short haircuts. They are practical, without the use of fleece, varnish, well retain their shape with active movement. The direction of the hair in this hairstyle follows the natural direction of hair growth. Decor and embellishments are missing.
Romantic hairstyles are characterized by volume and ease of form, slightly disheveled silhouettes.
There are complex unexpected lines that harmoniously combine straight and curly hairstyle elements.
As a rule, this is a cascade of curls, using a perm. It can also be hairstyles with various tufts of hair in the form of curled and straight "horse" tails, etc.
Avant-garde hair style.
These are the most extravagant hairstyles that amaze with their asymmetric shapes and the imagination of the master.
Torn edges, strands dyed in different colors, the use of wire and feathers in the composition of the hairstyle - all this characterizes the avant-garde style.
1.3 History of the origin of the avant-garde
The founder of avant-garde fashion is called Pierre Cardin. He was the first to introduce avant-garde outfits in his famous collection of space suits (see figure 2).

All designers periodically turn to the avant-garde, but use elements of this style with caution. So, Vivienne Westwood offered avant-garde T-shirts printed with political slogans. Norma Kamali - trousers made of parachute fabric and an original coat, which is a symbiosis of a coat and a sleeping bag.
Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake also worked in the avant-garde style (see Figure 3). And British fashion designer Zandra Rhodes, who created stage outfits for opera prima donnas. (See Figure 4).

Among contemporary fashion designers who work in the avant-garde style, Gareth Pugh from the UK (see Figure 5) and Igor Chapurin from Russia (see Figure 6) stand out.

From this story, I can not help but single out the Russian fashion designer - Igor Chapurin.
His grandfather opened the first textile factories in Russia. His father ran knitwear factories, and his mother runs a large knitwear factory.
In 1992, Igor made his dream come true by taking part in the competition for young fashion designers named after Nina Ricci. Chapurin was lucky - he got into the top ten winners and in December 1992 visited Paris, representing Russia at the X International Festival of Young Fashion Designers.
And here is one of the photos from the Aurora Fashion Week show (see Figure 7).

1.4 Avant-garde for women - originality and exotic
There are absolutely no rules or guidelines in avant-garde hair style. At the same time, such a hairstyle should give the image completeness and complete integrity. Neither the length nor the color of the hair matter, because in this style any fantasies can be translated into reality. But all ideas should emphasize the exclusivity of the look and individuality.
For me, in this style, the singer and actress Lady Gaga has always been in the first place. This girl was never afraid to look defiant. Whether she will be with a piece of meat on her head, or with a large button on her head (see Figure 8), this has never bothered her.

The fashion for men's avant-garde haircuts arose in various youth subcultures: among punks, rockers, hippies, informals, rappers, emo, hipsters? they all stand out from the crowd with shocking hairstyles.
Now, of course, it is already difficult to surprise with anything, it seems that we have already seen all the most unusual hairstyles, and now the most classic short men's haircut looks the most unexpected (see Figure 9). But now we are talking about the avant-garde.

A bright accessory as the finishing touch to an avant-garde look.
Accessories also play one of the important roles, so that the image turns out to be more exploding and full-fledged (see Figure 10).
Accessories for an avant-garde outfit should be chosen very carefully. The main thing is non-standard: voluminous bracelets, necklaces and earrings made of metal or plastic, chains of complex weaving, bags, hats of the original form, glasses of large size.
Pick up shoes with curly heels or with an unusual buckle to match.

Hair and makeup will complete the look. The hairstyle is characterized by asymmetry and clear lines. And avant-garde makeup implies the most unusual combinations of eyeshadow and lipstick colors, arrows on the eyes or a clear contour on the lips. The main rule in the forefront is the absence of rules.
1.5 Avant-garde fashion
Fashion every year goes all in front, not dwelling on the past. This is facilitated by new trends and trends in fashion.
Avant-garde style - the style of the future, the style of search. He never stops, he always leads all styles and can combine the main features of each of them.
Avant-garde is the collective name for artistic trends that are more radical than modernism. The avant-garde is characterized by an experimental approach to artistic creativity that goes beyond classical aesthetics, using original, innovative means of expression, emphasized by the symbolism of artistic images.
It will hardly be possible to see a girl on the street or in a store who will look as provocative as, for example, a girl in a picture. (See Figure 11).

1.6 Modeling avant-garde hairstyles
Hair coloring is performed from simple (cross parting) to the most extravagant (fish bone, in the form of a letter, diagonally).
All these technological methods have changed thanks to new technologies, new cosmetic preparations that have become affordable and easy to use.
Thus, you can see that the hairdressing skill goes up every year. It is thanks to the high skill of modern masters that hairdressing has gained prestige and entered one of the elite professions.
Works of avant-garde art shocked, the authors shocked the audience, ironically about its ability to perceive the surrounding reality.
If we talk about avant-garde haircuts and hairstyles, then these are those in which the master's fantasy is revealed. When something unusual is created and hairstyles are the destruction of boring forms, this is a departure from traditional ideas about the fashion world. This style is chosen by creative and extraordinary individuals who seek to expand all the boundaries of the possible with the help of extraordinary views on the surrounding reality. Hairstyles of this style are distinguished by bold decisions in shape, lines and colors: they are acceptable for those who follow fashion.
Existing hairstyles provide ample opportunity to change the appearance of a woman, because men like variety, which means that hairstyles need to be changed more often. Such hairstyles can be seen not only on fashion catwalks, but also among representatives of creative professions. In order to make such a hairstyle you need to have imagination.
Strands, or entire hair, can be dyed in different shades, from the most acidic to the palest tones (see Figure 12). Paint patterns on the temples, or shave them.

All hairdressers in the world say that today, as in all areas of activity, men set the tone for fashion for hairstyles. Toni & Guy offers a metrosexuals style, which is dictated by the traditional brith-pop culture, which dictates its own set of masculine qualities. Men wear hair of different lengths from short to long. On short hair, various designs are shaved and dyed in extreme colors, mohawks are shaved (see Figure 14).

1.7 Postier in hairdressing
Today, the stylist case is popular and highly valued. Every day, a hairdresser cannot do without a stylist product when doing a hairstyle, because with the help of these products you can increase the volume, make your hair longer, complement your hair with hair ornaments or weaving. Styling products are widely used in evening, competition, wedding and fantasy hairstyles. From the hair you can make a variety of flowers, leaves, bunches of grapes, even create a whole composition. When making a wig product, especially jewelry. The postiger must have a well-developed imagination. A stylist product can give the hairstyle a perfect look.
The manufacture of tres consists in its long binding with fairly thin strands of hair. This process requires patience and individual efforts.
Tres hair length is optional. Most often, long natural hair of the same structure is used for cracking.
Before starting work, pre-treatment of natural hair is carried out, which boils down to the following operations:
Sorting by color, length, quality;
Disinfection;
Determining the position of heads and ends;
Drafting hair in one direction;
Combing on the card;
Discoloration, tinting or painting;
Washing after staining;
Drying;
Mixing hair of different colors;
Tying with a strand.
When preparing the hair, the position of the heads and ends is determined, the hair is drawn up in one direction to prevent tangling.
The strand begins to comb from the ends. It is placed on the teeth of the card, held by the middle, and passed through the teeth several times. When the ends of the hair begin to freely pass through the card, the strand is turned over and the hair is combed from the side of the heads. The duration of combing in both directions depends on the length and degree of entanglement of the hair.
Cut hair in strands has different lengths. This difference is also preserved in tresses, for which, after combing on the card, long hair is separated from short hair, and they are on duty during tresovanie.
Cracking is the production of tresses woven into a strand of hair according to a certain system between strong threads and further sewing of the finished tress to the base of wig products. Tres is made on a tresbank. The tresbank is a basic cracking device, consisting of two metal or wooden racks for tensioning the tresses.
Racks are attached to the work surface with clamps that hold them in a vertical position. One post (on the left) has three holes - nests, into which special stakes with wound threads are inserted.
For weaving tress, both natural and synthetic threads are used. The latter not only exceed the strength of ordinary threads, but are also resistant to chemicals. When the strands are treated with an oxidizing agent, cotton threads are quickly destroyed, while synthetic threads withstand its action without changing their properties.
When performing tres, you also need to consider the color of the hair. Since the model has a light blond color at level 8 and does not want to dye her hair, the tress itself can be streaked or simply tinted.
Tres will complement the hairstyle with different elements. It can be weaving, braids, braids and much more. Thus, the stylist business is the most popular this season. This is most pronounced in the Dolores magazine. Each master complemented his hairstyle with avant-garde strands of hairpieces with extravagant coloring.
Eyelashes have also become very widely used, this is especially noticeable in competitive and fantasy images.
2. Practical part
The task of modern masters is to know not only the classical techniques of using the tool, to perform classic haircuts, but to boldly introduce new equipment and new technologies. The actual task of hairdressing is the most sparing attitude towards the hair of clients.
2.1 Sanitary standards
According to sanitary standards in the premises of hairdressing salons, a thorough wet cleaning should be carried out daily, before the start of work or after its completion. Cleaning is done with detergents and disinfectants. Therefore, before work, I cleaned the desktop so that I could do my hair, and nothing interfered with me.
Before serving, the client must be covered with a peignoir, under which an individual napkin must be placed.
Removing cut hair from the neck and face of the client is done with clean cotton wool or a napkin.
Since I have a mannequin head, I positioned it so that I could approach from either side and work comfortably.
Tools after each visitor are carried out in devices for disinfection (opened).
Since I am working on the hair at home, I washed the tools under running water with detergent.
I put the tools and rubber bands with hairpins on the table so that it was convenient for me to take them.
The workplace is ready for work.
2.2 Tools for the job
To create my own image, I needed:
mannequin head;
combs, brush for fleece;
invisible, hairpins;
posture products.
2.3 Creating an Avant-Garde Hairstyle
First, I washed my hair with shampoo and rinsed it with hair balm. Then I wet them well with a towel and set the mannequin head on a tripod so that it was convenient for me to dry my hair and do my hair.
Before I started drying my hair, I checked the hair dryer cord for damage. Then she took the comb "skeleton" and dried her hair.
In fact, coming up with an avant-garde hairstyle is not so easy. But the fantasy still visited me. I decided to combine the avant-garde style with the romantic one.
On the front of the head, I marked an arcuate parting along the hairline, and divided it into four parts (see Figure 15). I gathered the rest of the hair into a ponytail, securing it with a thin rubber band with hairpins (so that the tail would be stable). Then I took the roller, twisted it and secured it in a neat knot (see figure. 16).
I braided each part, leaving some strands that were woven into the central pigtails (see figure. 17). I also intertwined the central pigtails. It turned out something like a lattice (see Figure 18).
I added a hairstyle with a stylist product (see Figure 19). I treated the thin strands of kanekalon with PVA glue and left them to dry completely. Then I intertwined these strands so that I got a net of hair. I tied this mesh with a thread and formed a bow. I think it turned out well (see Figure 20).

With this stizherny bow I decorated the knot with the roller. I fixed the resulting hairstyle with hairspray, removing short hairs with it as well.
And, according to sanitary standards, after the end of the service of each client, the cut hair is collected with a brush in closed scoops, then put in airtight containers.
Hair even in the hairstyle can fall out, so I did the same. Then I washed the tools and cleaned the work table.

A revolution in fashion and types of hairstyles took place from era to era. The higher the culture of the people became, the richer their taste and diverse needs, the higher the level of hairdressing.

But the avant-garde style has surpassed itself: these are the most extravagant hairstyles, amazing masters with their asymmetric shapes and imagination, torn edges, strands dyed in different colors, the use of wire and feathers in the hairstyle composition - all this characterizes the avant-garde style.
The avant-garde style originated among avant-garde artists. In fashion, this trend has taken root since the mid-60s of the twentieth century. However, there is no fashion designer in the world who would develop an exclusively avant-garde clothing style.
This style is characterized by: unusual forms, image concepts and even some pretentiousness and outrageousness. Avant-gardists are called artists, poets, fashion designers who offer something new, unexpected and original.
Avant-garde is the collective name for artistic trends that are more radical than modernism.
