And even if you don't get into someone else's "list of good tankers" - it doesn't matter: we have prepared a lot of gifts under the Christmas tree for each of you! The holiday storm will hit the servers on December 15 at 09:00 (UTC). Put aside all your business and focus on the celebration and decoration of the Angara. Instead of the usual Hangar, you will find yourself in a snowy courtyard decorated with New Year's lights and snowdrifts. The courtyard will look truly atmospheric, but not elegant. And your task is to create a festive atmosphere in it and at the same time receive excellent rewards for it.
How will it work?
Build a snowman, decorate the house, decorate the lampposts and decorate the Christmas tree to increase the level of the holiday atmosphere (we also prepared a step-by-step decoration guide). At the same time, the selection of jewelry must be approached wisely. They are diverse and divided into 5 groups according to their rarity.
Tier 1 decorations are the most common; Tier 5 decorations are the rarest. The “cooler” the decoration, the more points it gives and the faster it raises the level of the festive atmosphere.
What is the festive atmosphere? If you're familiar with last year's New Year's Offensive, you know what it is. As a reminder: the holiday atmosphere has 10 levels and determines your progress in decorating the New Year's patio. You can see your progress at any time. It is displayed right in the snowflake at the top of the Hangar.
Once you reach a new level, a reward box will be dropped into the center of the patio. And the first gift is already waiting for you under the Christmas tree - a box with a gift tank. To open it, simply log into the game as soon as the 2018 New Year Offensive kicks off!
Reach the maximum level of the atmosphere - and you will receive so many gifts that they are unlikely to fit in Santa Claus's bag: female crew (4 girls, nation - to choose from), discounts on any researchable vehicles, consumables, and a set of New Year's Offensive medals.

IMPORTANT: Discounts can be used on any the studied vehicle of the specified tier (in each box there are discounts for a certain tier of vehicles in ascending order). Unapplied discounts are limited in time; It will be possible to buy equipment until mid-March 2018. When you choose which car you want to get a discount on, the discount will start and will be valid until you purchase the car. Even at the same moment, even after some time, you will still receive a discount. Do not delay the purchase and do not postpone the choice of which tank to apply the discount to! The same applies to the female crew: recruit them before mid-March 2018. We will announce the exact date later, stay tuned. |
Decorations are not just a way to elevate the festive atmosphere. By collecting them, you will receive exclusive emblems, styles and inscriptions, as well as a special holiday bonus. The bonus will increase the amount of experience, crew experience and credits earned per battle (details: Holiday Bonus).

If this year you want to decorate the Hangar in a new way, but are not sure how exactly, the New Year's Offensive 2018 has something to offer you. Choose Modern Christmas if you prefer modern holiday style. If you're looking for a more traditional holiday style, try Traditional Christmas. Don't like "Christmas", enjoy the variety of Chinese New Year or our native New Year.
Remember that these are not unbreakable patterns, but rather a source of inspiration! Pick a style and stick with it, or mix and match elements, you're only limited by your own imagination.
How will it work?
Hover your mouse over the decoration, click on the snowflake , right below the "Battle!" or click on any decoration to view it in detail. Use the panel on the left side of the detailed view screen to navigate between interactive elements.
You can also decorate your yard randomly: interactive elements have special slots for each type of decoration. To start the decorating process, click on the element of the festive Hangar that you want to decorate. Then click on the desired slot to open a window containing all the matching decorations and select one of them. To sort decorations by level or style, use the filters located in the upper right corner of the window.
A new toy is available for installation in this slot. Click on the slot and find out its style and level. Suddenly this is exactly what you need!

Collections and holiday bonus
The decorations will be numerous and varied, and will also be divided into four collections: Traditional Christmas, Modern Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year. From all kinds of trinkets, decorations and garlands to pommels and twinkling lights, there's enough for everyone! And each style will give you additional emotions thanks to the unique background music. The more items from a particular set you use, the more expressive the music will be and the more it will match the style of the toy collection you have chosen.
All received decorations are placed in a special album. Click on the snowflake right below the "To battle!" , and select Collections (on the right) to view all bookmarks in the album. They will display your collection progress and show you which decorations you don't have yet.
All toys will be listed here. As soon as the toy appears from the chest, consider that it has appeared in the collection. You can distinguish the received toys by a bright icon in the collection.

Collections are not just a tool to help decorate your Garage. Each of them gives you bonuses, a unique style for changing the appearance of vehicles *, emblems and inscriptions. Remember that each collection provides such elements for a particular technique. Gather the New Year collection if you want to change the appearance of USSR vehicles. Do you like to play the "Chinese"? Collect decorations Chinese New Year to get emblems and decals for these cars. Gathering a collection Traditional Christmas, you will receive skins for vehicles from Germany, France, Poland, and Czechoslovakia. How to get bonuses, emblems and inscriptions?
Appearance change elements: collecting one of the four collections will provide you with a unique style, emblem and inscriptions for a particular nation (New Year and Chinese New Year) or group of nations (Traditional and Modern Christmas). There are no restrictions here. Collect all four collections to get a set of elements and bonuses for each nation!
Holiday Bonus: your path to complete collection will be accompanied by bonuses to earned experience, crew experience and credits per battle. The closer you are to the collected collection, the greater the bonus. At the same time, you will reach the maximum bonus long before you collect the entire collection.
Want to get the most out of your bonus? There is one nuance, and it is extremely simple: decorate the Hangar to reach the maximum level of festive atmosphere. Significant progress in collecting collections, combined with the 10th level of the festive atmosphere, will give you +48% to earned combat experience, crew experience, and credits per battle for a certain nation.
Are you playing with a premium account? There is good news for you too: the holiday bonus is combined with a premium account. Once you reach the maximum level of the festive atmosphere, the premium account and the holiday bonus will actually give you double combat experience, crew experience and credits per battle for the duration of the game event.

Getting decorations
Decorations can be obtained in special boxes given out as rewards for combat missions of the New Year's Offensive 2018 event. Another way to get decorations is to complete the daily combat missions of the Festive Calendar, which will become available during the game event. You can also craft decorations using the New Valid Collider, or stock up on decorations on a special site. Visit the site from December 15 to replenish your collection and find gifts for your tank friends!

New Year's Offensive 2018 is exactly the kind of tank madness you've come to expect from a game. This time you will have the choice between playing for fun or playing for decorations. If you're looking for decorations, check out the 11 New Year's Eve combat missions. They will be updated weekly, and it will be possible to complete each of them several times. Completing each task will be rewarded with a box of decorations. What will be in them? Three decorations and more. But this is a surprise! Maybe gear, maybe credits.

Decoration crafting has been a hot topic of discussion among players over the past year. We have taken everything into account and present a completely new device for this task. This device is a "New Good Collider" and is exactly what you need for jewelry making.
Here is how it will work. Let's say you have unnecessary hanging toys, garlands or balls. They can be put into action, having previously broken. Then place the shards in the New Year collider and make a wish. But not literally - just set the parameters (level, type and collection) for the decoration you want, make sure you have enough shards* and hit the button Create. All is ready! Do you need anything specific? Then let it be a surprise: select "Random Collection" and immediately proceed to create decorations.

From December 15 to January 15, tankers will decorate the Christmas tree, build a snowman, and decorate the house and yard. To do this, you need to collect New Year's decorations, receive and give gifts, create decorations yourself using a unique machine - a New Year's collider.

To receive New Year's decorations, tankers are offered to complete 66 special New Year's tasks:
- 7 tasks are issued for a week, while they can be completed in one day. For completing each, a box with decorations is issued.
- 2 tasks - available for completion 3 times a week and can also be completed in one day. Reward: 3 gift boxes for each.
- 2 tasks completed in a week bring as many as 4 boxes, and they can also be obtained in one day.
- Every day, one task from the holiday calendar is given, which must be completed within a day. The counter is updated at 9:00 Moscow time. The reward is one gift box.
In total, 66 tasks are available to players, for the completion of which 90 boxes with gifts will appear under the Christmas tree. Considering that each contains 3 New Year's toys, you can collect 270 decorations in a week just by playing in the usual mode.

The novelty of the New Year's Offensive 2018 is an album with collections, where all the toys and decorations that the player managed to get for completing tasks will be automatically credited. 
At the same time, the fate of the decoration: it is on the Christmas tree or launched for further processing does not play a role, the toy remains in the album in any case.
In total, it is proposed to collect 4 thematic collections, grouped by game nations:
- New Year - the technique of the USSR.
- Modern Christmas - unites Americans, Swedes, British and Japanese.
- Traditional Christmas - Germans, Czechs, Poles and French.
- Chinese New Year - Chinese.
What you need to know about collections
Collecting collections, players earn additional bonuses, which, together with the achieved level of the festive atmosphere, makes it possible to make good money during the New Year holidays even without an active premium account. The size of the bonus directly depends on the total number of points in each collection. For example:
- Up to 7 points - a bonus is provided.
- Up to 18 points - 1%.
- Up to 36 points - 2%.
- Up to 54 points - 3%.
- Above 54 points - 4%.
The bonus applies to the amount of silver and experience earned based on the results of the completed battle. At first glance, the increase looks insignificant, but let's not forget that the bonus will be complemented by a level of festive atmosphere. 
Atmosphere provides an additional multiplier by which the bonus will be multiplied. In particular, the maximum multiplier for a level 10 holiday atmosphere will be 12.
A simple mathematical calculation (4*12=48%) shows that having collected enough decorations, we actually get a full-fledged premium account, which will be valid until the end of the event. Profitable?
Of course, but this is not all New Year's goodies that the atmosphere and collections give. The received bonus will be added to an active premium account, respectively, players will be able to earn 2 times more credits and experience.
Those who took part in a similar New Year's event in 2016 will surely remember that a lot of identical toys fall out in boxes. Last time, we were offered special recipes: combine a few unnecessary toys and hopefully get a unique decoration of a higher level. 
Of course, the necessary toys were not always obtained, so such cooking could continue indefinitely.
Now the developers have decided to abandon random recipes and just offer to break repeating toys. The number of shards received directly depends on the level of decoration:
- The first is 10.
- The second is 20.
- Third - 30.
- Fourth - 70.
- Fifth - 250.
The question arises: why beat jewelry? The answer is: to load the fragments into the New Year's collider and get a new toy.

The Collider is an amazing Christmas crafting machine that allows you to turn useless glass shards into new decorations. At the same time, the form, style, level and strong settings are set by the player independently.
Note that the more precisely the settings are given to the machine, the more fragments will be required to create the decoration. 
For crafting, three knobs are offered, by rotating which you can set the desired parameters. The most budgetary is the creation of a random decoration, which will cost 100 fragments.
If you want a tier 5 toy that will go to the top of the tree and to the collection, you will have to pay 1,440 shards. In principle, the cost of creating jewelry does not look high, given that toys fall out really often.
Last year, discounts and female crew members were offered only for Sweden, and were limited to tank destroyers.
Now you can choose tanks on your own, and recruit girls-tankers for any vehicles, specifying the specialty, nation and class of vehicles. We add that you need to make a choice no later than March 2018, otherwise the privileges will burn out.
Where can I get a female crew? It's simple, you need to go to " List of awards" (hangar decoration menu) - find the inscription " Recruit” under the girl icon, as shown in the figure below (you need to recruit a girl before mid-March). 
With the choice of Discounts for the purchase of a tank, the same thing, only one nuance. It will no longer be possible to change the technique after choosing a discount, so consider this issue in advance.
