The appearance of jewelry is sometimes too deceiving; if it shines when you buy it, this does not mean that it is made of noble metal. Be sure to look for hallmarks on gold and silver items, and for jewelry with diamonds, a special certificate is attached. Visually you can only determine the purity of the stone. If you rock a diamond piece a little, all inclusions in the stone will be visible to the eye.
