Introduction.

New Years is soon! And the most important thing is to create a festive mood in children.
We all have a Christmas tree, Santa Claus with his Snow Maiden under it, gifts on New Year's Eve. But is something missing? I decided to complete the image of Santa Claus with such a sleigh with a horse.

Who is Santa Claus?

FATHER FROST (Morozko) - a mighty Russian pagan God, a character of Russian legends, in Slavic legends - the personification of Russian winter frosts, a blacksmith who freezes water, generously showering winter nature with sparkling snowy silver, giving the joy of a winter festival, and, if necessary, in heavy for a year protecting the Russians from advancing enemies with hitherto unprecedented winter cold freezing into the ice, from which iron begins to break.

Everyone knows that in Russia Santa Claus rides on a sleigh pulled by three horses, goes skiing or walks. However, sometimes a smaller number of horses in a team is enough for him. Troika is our everything. Unfortunately, unlike Santa's deer, fairy tales about Santa Claus's horses have not yet been composed. So I decided to create my own sleigh and white horse for our Santa Claus.
Material:
- carton box 2 pieces (one for the horse, the other for the sleigh)
- PVA glue
- Acrylic paint, white.
- color for acrylic paint. (blue, pink)
- Christmas decorations, rain, tinsel.
Horse and Sleigh Templates:

Progress.
Let `s start!
We take any cardboard box. You determine the size yourself. My horse turned out to be 50 cm high at the withers. Let's start with a cardboard box.

We draw a horse.

After we take a clerical knife and cut out the horse in the office. We draw the second half of the horse according to the office of the cut out first horse. The only thing I changed was the position of the legs.

This is how my preparation turned out.

Here you can clearly see the position of the legs.

Then we take acrylic paint and paint our blanks white. You need to paint over 3 times to achieve a good painting.

While the main part of our work dries, we draw and cut out the ears. We paint over.

At this stage, work with the horse ends. We paint over it from time to time. While it dries, we are engaged in sledding.
We also take the box and draw the outline of the sleigh. I drew separately the skids and the top. Cut out.

Then we take PVA glue and a brush.

We glue the parts together. We make two such blanks.

We paint over. One coloring is enough here. Since the color of the sleigh will not be white.

Now cut out the seat from the remnants of the boxes. Its size can be adjusted according to your space. I have a width of 25 cm, a height of 34 cm. We form the seat from two rectangles. Fasten to the runners with a stapler.

One of the rectangles is rounded at the top. We connect the parts together with a stapler.

We fasten the second half of the sled.

Our blues are ready, it remains to repaint them in the color you need. And decorate.

Now let's start collecting the horse. We connect the two halves with a stapler.

Inside we put small spacers from the remnants of cardboard.

We fix our ears. You can draw the ears right away, I did not have enough space on the cardboard, and I drew them separately.

Now let's start decorating. Let's start with the mane.
We take a dodge. And with the help of a stapler we fix it in place of the mane.

We attach tinsel on top.

In the process of work, I decided to change her tail, and I had to cut off the drawn one.

I made it from rain. And decorated the horse. I glued a saddle, made golden hooves, reins of snow beads. This is where your imagination comes into play. And you can decorate it however you like.

It's on the other side

And such a sleigh after I decorated them. Gifts were placed inside.

I offer a master class on making crafts "Magic Sleigh of Santa Claus". These sleighs can be used for small and not heavy gifts, surprises (which you can also make yourself); you can decorate the New Year's interior or play director's games or table theater with them. This master class is addressed to adults or for joint creativity - child + adult.

Materials used in the work:

Cardboard for children's creativity - 3 sheets of matching tones, 1 sheet of paper for drawing A3 format (thick), glue moment Crystal, double-sided narrow tape, ruler, small protractor for making a semicircular headboard, cutter, pencil, pen (not writing - for creasing - for folds), 3 pieces of beautiful ribbons / braid, snowflake sequins (or punched with a hole punch), half beads - 4 pcs, a postcard (for decoration).

A drawing of the base of the sleigh (the dotted line is the fold lines). Further, the details cut out separately and used as patterns for the manufacture of decorative elements from colored cardboard. When making the headboard for the upper part, we use a protractor (convenient!)

We break through the folds (draw the pen along the ruler along the folds)

Cut out 2 bottoms, glue the white on the outside. Blue is on the inside. We glue the base of the sleigh, trying to glue the headboard obliquely back.

We cut out and glue the colored sidewalls, the headboard and the front of the sleigh inside and out with Moment Crystal glue. We leave the outer part of the headboard not glued (in order to close the ends of the ribbons later).

We glue the prepared ribbons and braid along the sides. Then glue the back of the headboard in place.
We cut out the blanks of the skids and stick them on colored cardboard: like this. Cut them out, stepping back to get a border.

We glue the skids to the sides, you can raise it higher, you can lower it as you like. We decorate the junctions with snowflakes and half beads.

We cut out a figure from a postcard, decorate it with snowflakes ... Make a hole on top with a hole punch and tie a bow.

Sleigh ready! Now you can use them however you like! I will be using them as gift wrapping!

Sledge, snowman and Christmas tree made of jute and coffee beans. A wonderful New Year's composition was made by craftswoman ALLA (April 4ik) and published on the Land of Masters. Snowman, sledge and Christmas tree are decorated with jute and coffee beans. And in the sleigh there are still tangerines, cones, gifts ... Many thanks to the author for the idea and the master class!

Sledge, snowman and Christmas tree made of jute and coffee beans

To decorate the top of the sleigh, I crocheted a chain of air loops from twine.

The sides of the sleigh were decorated with twine bows and coffee beans. The inside of the basket was lined with burlap. The sled turned out to be deep, so I put foil balls tied with twine on the bottom). I don’t throw out the foil from chocolate bars, but roll it into balls, which I then use in crafts.

E lochka - a cone from a notebook cover blown with polyurethane foam (the blank remained from the last NG). I specially took the covers of a dark color, so as not to paint later.

I pasted over the coffee cone, alternating with twine. The Christmas tree should be with toys. We decorate our Christmas tree with orange peel figurines tied with twine bows.
For reference: orange peel figurines dry out on a central heating battery in a day. If the figures are already dried, but without holes, it does not matter, the holes are easily made by hand with a thin drill.

Now let's start making a snowman. For the body, I wound a ball of paper the size of a tennis ball (no photo), wrapped it with threads, and then with foil, the head was a ping pong ball, and the hands were two foil balls. Halves of toothpicks are glued into the balls for the head and hands.

Now we wrap our blanks with twine. Insert toothpicks into the holes for the hands.

We begin to wrap the head from below, so that later, when collecting the Snowman, the coils of the torso and head are even

We assemble the Snowman, grease the bottom of the balls for the head and hands with glue

Let's start making the hat. We take the smaller half of the container from Kinder Surprise and a piece of foam tray. I advise you to initially cut a hole, and then just cut out the ring itself. Originally cut in reverse order, the ring burst

We glue the ring to the container, the hat is ready. Coat the workpiece with PVA glue and sprinkle with ground coffee. You can simply paint the hat with acrylic paint. The nose of the snowman is an alder cone, the eyes are millet seeds (or draw with a marker). The mouth was drawn with a marker. For a scarf, we crochet a chain of air loops, decorate the ends of the scarf with coffee beans

Let's start making apples. We wrap all the same foil balls with paper napkins and coat with PVA glue, let dry

Tails from dry wild pears. Paint with gouache orange and dry again

We generously grease our balls with PVA glue and sprinkle with dry orange zest

We are preparing gifts. We pack tea and coffee by weight in such paper bags, my hamster nature did not allow me to throw them away, so they came in handy

Here I put it all together, what will we fill our sled with

We begin to fill our sleds. First we put up the tree. Between the bamboo sticks of the trunk, I inserted a toothpick on the glue, put on a ball. I didn’t take a photo, the tree rests on the back of the sled and the ball at the end of the trunk

The Christmas tree was set, we put gifts, apples by the trunk. We put the Snowman, and then we fill our sleds. We decorate the filled sleigh with alder cones

". Its author Ludmila Yudaeva will tell you how you can make and decorate a holiday sleigh for Santa Claus. The question is very relevant, because Santa Claus cannot do without his traditional means of transportation. :)

Sleigh for Santa Claus in the technique of suite design

Hello! I am a mother of two boys, I am 31 years old. Now I'm sitting at home with my youngest child, so I entertain myself as best I can. I never knew how to sit idle, my hands are constantly doing something ...

About a year ago I caught fire with suite design, this year I fell in love with scrapbooking, now I am trying to master this type of needlework, though again with a slight touch of other hobbies. :)

One day, a friend, looking at my beautiful, freshly made orange illuminated Christmas tree (my pride), said: “This season is not a trend ...” My mouth opened, my lower lip began to twitch from frustration ... I think: “How so? When did handmade go out of fashion?.. ”And she continued, saying that this year we meet the Blue Sheep, and she is going to decorate everything exclusively in blue and maybe even silver tones.

I came home, climbed to sort out my hamster supplies. I tried to choose everything only blue or maximum silver. And for some reason, the idea to make a sled immediately came up - it was inspired by the approaching New Year, although there was no snow.

Orange sisal is also tucked in here, sort of like a suitable material for sledges. But already in the process I changed my mind about using it - after all, blue.

I looked at the sleigh shape on the Internet, but in the end I decided to come up with something of my own. Who, if not me, knows better what kind of sledge my Santa Claus has?

Separately, it must be said that Grandfather Frost is the only store accessory that my hand did not touch for transformations.

Also for the sled, I needed a dense wire, which I quickly cut and twisted with round-nose pliers.

I assembled the sled with my favorite glue gun.

It is worth noting that the type of attachment that I originally used for the skids turned out to be unviable. Just at the moment when the photo was taken, I was still planning to use sisal to decorate the sled. In the final version, I cut away these layers and held the wire parts together with double-sided tape and cord (more on this below).

When the foundation was ready, the question of design arose. And then I realized that I don’t want to use sisal, I just don’t see it in the end (those who make it will understand me). Your favorite corrugated paper came to the rescue again. And my sleigh became silver.

To make Grandfather comfortable, I threw a “mattress” (a piece of foam) into the sled, and added “pillows” made of organza.

I cut the organza into squares, twisted it four times in the usual way and, without hesitation, attached it to the sleigh with a stapler.

Then a Christmas tree settled in the sleigh (more precisely, twigs), and the ugly foam plastic was covered with a “silver veil” (in the world - decorative filler).

One of the previous photos also shows a gift - Grandfather Frost cannot go without gifts! Of course, in his sleigh there will later be 3 of them. They are easy to make and look very pretty.

We cut the sheet foam into squares (if you have a regular foam, you have to tinker a little). We fold a cube from the squares and wrap it with a piece of wrapping paper or film, fixing it with double-sided tape. I don’t specify the dimensions, since the foam cube can be any (for example, my Grandfather in the sleigh has gifts of several sizes).

At the end, we tie the gift with a ribbon, thread, rope ... - whatever your heart desires.

In addition, I wanted to add something forest to the sleigh. The gifts of the forest in the neighborhood came to the rescue. I added a little “frost” to the pine cones, covering them with acrylic paint (it could have been paste or salt, but then it would have turned out “snow”).

It seems that everything is prepared inside, now it is necessary to take on the outer part. She began to wrap the runners of the sled with a silvery lace. So that the winding does not peel off and lays down beautifully, I used my favorite double-sided tape.

The sides of the sledge were decorated with twists.

Having made the sled, we move on to the sweet decor: we glue sweets on skewers, decorate the skewers with ribbon to match the composition, in parallel we make paper cones, which we wrap on top with packaging film.

Insert a candy on a stick inside the cone, tie it at the base with a ribbon. I made 5 sweets according to this principle.

I made a cone-shaped twist by winding the wire around the handle.

I decided to add more candy flowers. She cut off a rectangular piece of blue corrugated paper.

She curled the ponytail, gently stretched it with her fingers, wrapped the candy attached to the toothpick.

Thus, 3 candies were made. I decided to make one of them a big beautiful flower. To do this, I cut out petals from blue and silver corrugated paper.

I attached the petals to the candy with double-sided tape. I added sepals to the rest of the sweets, cutting a piece of silver corrugated paper with cloves.

Having collected all the flowers, I twisted them with a teip tape, disguising the wire and the transition from paper to base.

Everything, the sled for Santa Claus is ready! And even if you remove the sweets, the composition will remain beautiful.

Grandfather got out of the sled for a while, in order to better show how everything looks.

Handmade sleds are not sold in stores. A do-it-yourself sled will be powerful and able to withstand loads. But it is also easy to do it yourself. You can decorate your festive table with a wonderful original candy box in the shape of Santa Claus Sleigh. Purchased sleds are not very durable, because. made of aluminum corner and under heavy loads immediately bend.

On such New Year's sleds you can put an origami box with a surprise and in this form make a gift to your friends! We offer an interesting idea for packing New Year's gifts - Santa Claus's sleigh. There are other master classes for creating [ New Year's crafts. On thick cardboard, draw the outline of the sleigh and cut out 2 copies.

DIY crafts

We glue the sled on each side. From thinner cardboard cut out a long rectangle. We bend the indent for glue on both sides and glue it as shown in the picture. We cut out a long thin strip of synthetic winterizer (you can take cotton wool or a decorative rope) and glue it along the edge of the sleigh to close the cardboard.

We wait until the sleigh is dry and fill it with sweets. We suggest you make a very beautiful New Year's decor: a miniature sleigh pulled by deer. This decor is made of cardboard and paper. Our sledges are made in vintage style using the technique of artificial aging of paper.

Cut out cardboard and paper blanks for sleds and deer according to your templates. Cut out of cardboard and decorate the stand for the composition in the same style as the whole work and glue the composition on the stand. We admire the result) Such a sleigh with deer can be presented as a gift to your friends. We also give you options for the execution of such a composition in a different color and stylistic solution.

A beautiful, stately and spectacular Christmas tree is a necessary attribute of the New Year celebration, and in order for the Christmas tree to impress with its splendor, it must be decorated accordingly. We take thick paper of two shades - white and red. We cut out all the components of the sled, and paint them with silver spray paint.

We put the bag of Santa Claus in the sleigh and admire the result. So we have achieved the volume, our key has acquired the necessary thickness and the effect of antiquity, we paint it with gold paint from a spray can. Dear readers, today you learned how to make paper Christmas decorations, I hope you liked the ideas presented!

I am shocked, the star is very beautiful, this year I will make a lot of such stars, paint them with gold paint, and hang only them and garlands on the Christmas tree (I'm tired of purchased decorations). Below are two options for creating postcards for the New Year - a 3D postcard and a clamshell postcard.

This paper reindeer Christmas sleigh is made from the simplest materials at hand. Here are the first New Year's crafts! This work was done with imagination, you have got an elegant horse - a symbol of the coming year, and interesting sleds - everything is simple, accessible and understandable.

The materials presented on the pages of our site are created by the authors of the site, sent by users, taken from open sources and presented on the site for informational purposes only. With the approach of the New Year holidays, not only children, but also adults are waiting for miracles and gifts.

Let's start making sleds with our own hands

In addition, Santa Claus's sleigh can be an original idea for gift wrapping or a stand for sweets and fruits. They are easy to make and take very little time to make. You can make such a craft with your child, he will be delighted with New Year's preparations and spending time together.

Paper star.

Some of them are suitable for working with younger children, and there are others that can be offered to older children. To create crafts, the following materials and tools are useful: multi-colored thick cardboard, foil, scissors, paint, glue and various decorative elements. First you need to cut out the details from which the child will later collect Santa Claus's sleigh. From it you just need to cut out two parts in the shape of the sidewalls, only a little smaller, and glue them to the base on the sides. You can decorate the sled with paints, stickers in the form of snowflakes, etc.

First you need to find a suitable template, circle it on cardboard and cut out two parts. Glue corrugated paper to one of the copies and cut off the excess along the contour. The next step is to cut the bottom of the sled. A rectangle of the desired width is cut out of cardboard, adding a centimeter on each side for indentation. Two strips should be cut out of the synthetic winterizer and glued on the sides, imitating snow and covering the non-glued edges of the cardboard.

This little candy gift will be a hit with any child. Following the instructions, Santa's sweet sleigh can be made quickly and without any problems. To make the sleigh neat and beautiful, you need to pick up sweets of the same size, while the wrappers should be bright and varied.

Santa's Sleigh is an original idea for New Year's sweets and souvenirs. It can also be a great Christmas gift for your friends or loved ones.

Old paper key.

A4 and transfer it to cardboard. 2. We cut out the base for the sled from the same cardboard (in the archive - file 2) Here we already have to draw it ourselves - I indicated all the dimensions in the figure. You need to be as careful and careful as possible. And of course, we, creative fidgets, will not pass by snowdrops and make our own basket for snowdrops and the snowdrops themselves from sweets.

The part is bent, divided into three parts: the base of the sled and two backs (small and large). Toy Snow Maiden and Santa Claus can be seated not just under the New Year tree, but in a sled made of cardboard.
