The idea of the Dance Marathon is to unite people with and without disabilities, showing that everyone can dance and be friends. This time, a record number of popular pop stars helped the organizers of the Marathon, the “Best Friends” Foundation and the Perspective Regional Public Organization, to cope with this task: the Foundation’s Ambassador of Friendship Gluk'oZa , Nyusha,Serebro, A’ Studio, DEnis Klyaver, Artik & Asti, Sati Casanova, Yulianna Karaulova,Emin, Inna Malikova and “New Gems”, Anton Azarov, Slava Basyul.
“The dance marathon is a holiday for us every year, but for the first time this event was held on such a large scale, with so many stars and caring people,– says the director of the Best Friends Foundation Denis Rosa. – This means that we have become closer to our goals: to prove to everyone that the possibilities of each of us are limitless, and to show what true friendship is. People of all ages danced in the unique Stadium space. Conducted a master class for children and their parents Stasya Fedorova- a popular participant in the show “The Voice. Children". Then the inclusive children's team performed "Get over it" and popular "Fidgets". Together, children with and without disabilities danced and sang a song that became a real anthem of friendship.
Throughout the marathon there were fascinating master classes from the most famous choreographers of various dance styles: Evgeniy Papunaishvili("Dancing with the Stars"), Andrey Karpov("Dancing with the Stars"), Vladimir Aleshin, Elena Kuftova, Yulia Ovsyannikova And Yulia Solovyova(Donga Girls). Afro, dancehall, salsa, Latin, combi - marathon participants were able to try everything, immerse themselves in the atmosphere of different countries and learn new things about their cultures. It turned out that you can easily find yourself in Africa, Jamaica or Spain without leaving the hall: just listen to the music and repeat the movements of the choreographer!

In parallel with the performances and master classes, art classes, games and activities were held in the hall from morning to evening, which kept the marathon participants from getting bored in between dances: ebru (water painting), soap making, handicrafts. Everyone could also get professional make-up and visit a beauty station L'Oreal, apply a flash tattoo and draw mehendi.
Every hour at the Marathon there was a drawing from the partners of the Best Friends Foundation. The winners ultimately received: irons and trimmers from Philips, cosmetic sets Matrix, "Live Coffee", certificates for pizza from Papa Johns, cakes New York Bakery, souvenirs from the Best Friends Foundation. The results of the drawing in the VKontakte foundation group and the flash mob on Facebook were also summed up at the Marathon.
