Beam eyelash extensions, fast and effective. How to glue eyelashes in bunches at home: a detailed description

The eyes are diamonds. And eyelashes are a frame that emphasizes their beauty. Since ancient times, women have dreamed of long, thick eyelashes. But only in the 20th century was a truly effective method found: beam eyelash extensions. This procedure is very popular today.

Benefits of eyelash extensions

Long velvet eyelashes can make expressive the most ordinary eyes. This secret was well known to Hollywood actresses. At the time of Marilyn Monroe, they used false eyelashes, and a little later, makeup artists invented an excellent alternative - beam extensions. And very soon, not only film stars, but also ordinary women, were already using this magical method of transformation with might and main.

In Russia, the technology of beam eyelash extension appeared one of the first and firmly rooted in the vastness of the domestic beauty industry.

What is the procedure? The extension master takes several eyelashes (from 3 to 5), connected in a bundle, and attaches them to natural eyelashes or between them using special glue - colorless or black. Black creates an additional effect of summed up eyes.

Compared with other technologies, eyelash extensions with beams have a number of advantages. Here are the main ones:

  • the procedure takes relatively little time (from 30 minutes);
  • it is cheaper, therefore, accessible to the majority;
  • you can choose the number of attached beams (and the cost will depend on this), as well as their location, which affects the visual effect. So, cilia attached to the outer corner of the eye give the famous “fox look”, which strikes men on the spot.

When to use eyelash extensions?

As a rule, women resort to this method when preparing for a party, holiday or other significant event. And there are two reasons for that:

  1. Firstly, as a result of eyelashes extended with the help of lashes, we get very bright, expressive, one might say, cinematic eyes. But in everyday life this is not always appropriate.
  2. And, secondly, the service life of such cilia is not very long - it is only a week or two, well, three at the most. Further, the eyelashes will begin to crumble, and you will either have to remove them or carry out a correction.

Contraindications for building

Caution should be taken in the procedure if:

  • there is an individual intolerance to adhesive mixtures (do a special test first - this is practiced in salons);
  • you suffer from eye diseases that cause tearing (blepharitis, conjunctivitis, etc.);
  • wear contact lenses.

As for the last point, wearing lenses in itself is not a contraindication. It's just that it is associated with frequent contact of fingers and eyes, and this significantly reduces the life of extended cilia. So, you can increase. If you, for example, are going to a wedding, and you need the effect of bright eyes for an evening or two. But you can't count on more.

How to extend the life of eyelashes: do's and don'ts

To make eyelashes last longer, experts recommend their owners:

  • Wipe your eyelids regularly with alcohol-based lotions. They dry the skin, and it is fat that is the first enemy of eyelash extensions. Just remember that you can not touch the cilia growth line.
  • Refuse completely from the use of greasy creams and essential oils in the eye area.
  • Avoid contact with steam.
  • Forget about mascara for a while. Especially about waterproof. It will be possible to wash it off only together with eyelashes.
  • Do not touch your eyes again and, moreover, do not rub. The more often we touch them, the shorter the life of the cilia.

It's time to say goodbye

Sooner or later everything comes to an end. So, two or three weeks have passed, the cilia have thinned out, and it's time to remove the artificial bunches. Where to go, where to go?

Most women, of course, go to their specialist, and he quickly removes eyelash extensions. And some close in the bathroom and do this procedure on their own. There is nothing military in it. You need to apply sunflower oil on the eyelashes and wait 30 minutes. And then just remove the eyelashes with a cotton pad.

By the way, you can also grow eyelashes with the help of beams yourself. This YouTube video contains a tutorial that will help you master the procedure:

Let your eyelashes be the most beautiful, and your eyes the happiest!

Eyelash extensions are not only beautiful, but also incredibly comfortable. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to make them. If one or two procedures do not hit the pocket, then the constant wearing results in a decent amount. The way out is to learn how to build up on your own. Now there is an opportunity to buy everything you need for this, as well as get all the information you need for free.

Which eyelashes to choose

Doing eyelashes yourself at home is not difficult if you choose the right one and find everything you need. Particular attention is paid to the hairs themselves. When choosing, you can find different types: mink (close to natural hairs), sable (lush and thick), silk (something in between). In fact, they have nothing to do with the materials of manufacture. In all cases, safe and hypoallergenic synthetics are used. Popular manufacturers of professional eyelashes - Dolce Vita, Vivienne, MACY. But very often materials are bought from unknown brands, a lot of products come from China, and they are often not inferior in quality to expensive counterparts.

Extensions are of two types:

  1. Eyelash. Work goes with individual hairs.
  2. Beam. Bundles are glued on.

Naturally, each type needs its own materials. You can not connect the hairs in bundles or tear something off. But you can combine eyelash technique with bunches. As for the length, it is usually from 8 mm, over 12 mm is rarely used for everyday wear. To obtain a natural effect, it is advisable to take three lengths, the maximum size is glued in the central part or closer to the outer corners, depending on the desired effect. If you use the same hairs, then nothing beautiful will come of it, the work will look stiff and vulgar.

Necessary materials

The main material is eyelashes. But you will have to spend money not only on them. Auxiliary materials are not cheap, but they will last a long time. You can buy everything in cosmetic or professional stores.

What else do you need to build:

  1. Glue. It should be transparent or black, but designed specifically for building.
  2. Tweezers. Ideally, it is advisable to take a long professional tool with a curved tip and one straight one, but if you don’t have it, you can take ordinary short tweezers.
  3. Foil. It's for glue. Any kind of food foil will do, the thickness does not matter, the main thing is cleanliness.
  4. Special solvent for glue (remuver). You need to buy it in advance. If suddenly something goes wrong, it doesn’t work the first time, then you need to remove the hairs. Without a remover, it will not be possible to safely and quickly remove artificial hairs.
  5. brush. Necessary for combing eyelashes before and immediately after the procedure. If it is not possible to buy a special brush, you can take it from under the carcass, it must be washed and dried well.
  6. Gel substrates (silicone tapes). They are optional, but desirable. With their help, it is easy to remove the lower eyelashes, they will not interfere with the procedure.
  7. Primer. Degreases eyelashes, removes the remnants of cosmetics, dust, dirt. It is usually used before painting, but it will not damage the product before building up, it will provide good adhesion.

Important! Do not confuse and buy ordinary glue for false eyelashes. It will not differ in durability, has a completely different composition, adheres well to the skin, but not to the hairs. That is, it is absolutely not suitable for building.

Step by step technique

Before eyelash extensions, you need to clean the eye area from makeup and do it well. You can use micellar water. Particular attention is paid to the root zone of the eyelashes, on which soldering, that is, gluing, will be carried out. After cleansing, it takes a few minutes to dry completely. You can just hide the lower eyelashes under the gel pads so that they do not interfere with work.

How to grow eyelashes at home:

  1. Treat eyelashes with a primer. Usually it is applied to a brush or cotton swab, wiped from the eyelid to the tips.
  2. Comb the eyelashes with a brush to align and separate.
  3. Put some glue on a piece of foil.
  4. Using even tweezers, select the eyelash on which the extension will be made, pushing all the excess to the sides.
  5. Take an artificial eyelash with curved tweezers, dip half the length into the adhesive, wipe the excess glue on the foil.
  6. Attach an artificial eyelash to the prepared natural hair, glue.
  7. Continue building up further along the eyelid, changing the length.
  8. Dry your eyelashes. In salons, this is done with a hand pump; at home, you can wave or blow something, but do not blow too much air.
  9. Comb the cilia with a clean and dry brush. It should easily pass through the hairs.

Important! Do not build up from the inner corner of the eyelid to the outer edge in order. In this case, adjacent cilia will stick together. It is recommended to work alternately in different areas.

How to grow eyelashes in bunches yourself

Eyelash extension is difficult to do on your own, as it involves gluing from 100 hairs to each eyelid. The process is not only long, but also very painstaking. It is more convenient and faster to use bundles. They can also be bought in the store, ordered online. A large selection of materials can be found on Chinese sites. It is very important that the beams are well clustered. That is, at the base of the beam there should be an extended tip for attachment.

Benefits of beam extension:

  • saving time and effort;
  • cheapness;
  • opportunity to do it yourself.

The bundles also have different lengths, starting from 8 mm. Beams can create natural and theatrical effects. The extension technique is no different, except for a significant reduction in units. Eyelashes are also glued with the help of two tweezers.

Eyelash care after extension

You can also grow perfect eyelashes at home, which will last 3-4 weeks. But sometimes they begin to fall out after a few days, and the reason is not at all in the technique and materials. It is very important to properly care for the area around the eyes, especially in the first days after the procedure.

What not to do:

  1. Wash the first day. That is, do not affect the cilia themselves. But you can wipe your eyelids with a damp disk.
  2. Rub your eyes. Freshly extended eyelashes react negatively to any mechanical impact.
  3. Use greasy creams, oils and other products that can get on the glue, dissolve the composition.
  4. Sunbathe, visit a sauna, a bath for the first 48 hours. High temperatures can also affect durability.
  5. Sleep face down on a pillow. This habit is harmful not only to eyelashes, but also to the skin of the face, leads to swelling and bags around the eyes, it is desirable to eradicate it.

By the way! It is possible and even necessary to dye eyelashes if native hairs have a light shade, stand out ugly against the general background. But it is important to choose a mascara remover that will not dissolve the adhesive.

Common Mistakes

One of the most common and dangerous mistakes in extensions is gluing. That is, artificial and natural hairs are interconnected. This is not only ugly, but also very harmful to natural eyelashes. Gluings are different: longitudinal, basal, crossed, fluffy. But they are all correctable. It is important to immediately push the hairs apart until the composition has hardened.

It happens that the problem occurs due to glue. During the build-up, you need to regularly update the drop on the substrate. If an error is noticed in time, it must be corrected immediately. When gluing, you can use removers, carefully removing cilia in defective places. If not removed in time, the risk of damage to natural hairs increases.

Other common mistakes:

  1. Gluing an artificial hair close to the eyelid. As a result, with the growth of a natural eyelash, itching, irritation will appear, the service life will be reduced, after 5-7 days you can notice the first losses.
  2. Small area of contact (point build-up). Eyelashes must match at least 50%. Otherwise, they will fall off very quickly.
  3. Direction. On the eyelids, the eyelashes are arranged in even rows, but only at the base. The ends look in different directions. It is important that the artificial hairs repeat their direction.

Also, do not forget about the timely correction and proper removal of artificial eyelashes. You can not tear off, try to pluck or pull out the hairs, this can lead to sad consequences.

Eyelash extensions are appropriate for everyday look and for festive events. Fortunately, the modern beauty industry has a wide variety of ways with which you can improve the appearance of any eyelashes, giving them a charming natural or glamorous effect.

In this article we will talk about beam eyelash extensions and its features.

What is beam extension

Beam extension is the modeling of the eyelash row with the help of artificial eyelashes, collected in bunches of three or more units. The technology for forming bunch eyelashes is simple, and the process itself takes a little time, which makes eyelash extensions in bunches a popular method of artificial extension, which is often resorted to by fashionistas who want to get luxurious eyelashes without lengthy and tedious manipulations, and with them - an expressive and intriguing look.

Types of beam extension

  • nodular;
  • knotless.

Knot bundle. It consists of several cilia connected to each other in the form of a small knot at the end, with which the bundle is attached to the eyelid.

Knotless bundle. The hairs are collected according to the principle of tape extension, so the base, where the cilia are attached to the bundle, has a flat shape.

Also, the bundles differ in density (number of eyelashes), length, bend, thickness of the hairs, and their color. Based on these parameters, it selects which eyelashes will suit you best. To achieve the desired effect, the beams can be combined.

Differences between beam extension and eyelash extension

The modern lesh industry classifies artificial eyelash extensions into two main types: eyelash and beam. What is the difference between these two types?

Eyelash extensions imitate the natural growth of eyelashes and thus create a natural effect. This extension is suitable for those who want to correct the length, density, bend of the lash line for the better and at the same time maintain a practical everyday look.

Beam extension looks impressive and even glamorous. With it, you can quickly transform yourself for a special occasion: parties, corporate parties, weddings, photo shoots, etc. The effect is designed for a short period of time, so if you need a stunning look for just one evening or a couple of days, after which you plan to return to your usual style, artificial eyelashes can be easily removed.

Pros and cons of beam extension

Pros:

  • theatrical effect;
  • low cost of the procedure;
  • ease of extension;
  • the speed of the procedure;
  • the possibility of withdrawal at any time.

Minuses:

  • more complex care;
  • short service life;
  • the need for urgent (unscheduled) correction in the event of a separate beam falling out.

Once again, we note that both types of extensions are acceptable both in everyday life and in a festive setting. Which extension is better to choose: beam or eyelash - it's up to you. When choosing a method, look and be guided by which style you like best: showiness or practicality, and how your new eyelashes will “fit” into your everyday look.

Beam extension effects

Eyelash extensions in bunches allow you to create volume on your eyelashes, which is an integral part of the image of Hollywood actresses. Volumetric beam extensions make the eyelashes luxurious and give the whole look an incredible charm. A mysterious look from under such eyelashes penetrates to the depths of the soul and makes the hearts of the most persistent and unflappable representatives of the stronger sex tremble.

The volume is obtained by attaching two or three beams together. For voluminous eyelash extensions, 20 or more bundles are added to the eyelash row. In this way, you can simulate a 2d and 3d effect. The eyes will be even more expressive if long eyelashes are combined with.

Description of the procedure

Eyelash extension procedure with bunches consists of 5 stages.

Stage I. Make-up removal

Before the actual extension, the master will clean your eyelashes from the remnants of decorative cosmetics and degrease the hairs and skin of the eyelids with a special tool.

Stage II. Lower lash fixer

The lower eyelashes can cling to the tips of the upper ones during the process, so the master will carefully fix them with special silicone pads (linings) or paper tape.

Stage III. Beam extension

The master will gently apply glue to the knot of the bundle and the roots of the natural lashes of the eyelashes and connect them together. The beams are glued according to the principle long - on the outer edge of the eye, short - on the inner, while the specialist must correctly select the length and bend of the beams so that the transition is as smooth as possible.

Stage IV. Removing silicone pads

Upon completion of the main procedure, the lash maker will carefully remove the disposable pads that fixed the lower eyelashes.

Stage V. Fixing eyelashes

For the final fixing of the glued beams, the master will hold them on weight with a special stick for some time.

What effect gives a beam extension, you can see in these photos before and after.

Beam extension at home

Eyelash extensions can be done on your own. In order to carry out the procedure at home, you will need the following tools and supplies:

  • bunches of eyelashes;
  • glue;
  • tweezers;
  • silicone substrates;
  • cotton swabs;
  • any vegetable oil.

It is quite difficult to stick beams on yourself, but with a little training you can get the hang of it. Before starting the extension process, prepare your workplace: sit in front of the mirror so that the desired angle of the face is as accessible as possible to you, lay out the tools and prepared materials on the table in the order that is convenient for you.

The procedure itself is carried out in accordance with clause 4. The nuance of home building is that the beam can stick badly and stick out ugly. It can be easily re-glued: to do this, dip a cotton swab in oil and apply for a few seconds to the junction of the beam with the eyelid. After that, the hairs can be removed without any problems and after degreasing the area, glue new ones.

Bundles can be used both ready-made and self-made.

It is not difficult to form bundles - the procedure is very similar to preparing eyelashes for tape extension. But if you are still not sure that you can grow your own eyelashes, we suggest using our beauty aggregator. .

How to make bundles?

You will need:

  • plastic board;
  • Double-sided tape;
  • protective tape;
  • eyelashes;
  • glue;
  • tweezers.

On a plastic tablet, stick a strip of adhesive tape, on which you put a protective film with the sticky side up. From single hairs, form a bundle of the desired volume, and, holding it with tweezers, dip its “heel” into the glue. Carefully attach the finished bundle to the protective film.

How long does it last, care

A well-made beam extension can last up to 2 or even 3 weeks. Of course, during this time, some tufts may fall off, and you will need a correction. The correction procedure is simple - if you have the necessary materials, you can do it yourself.

Bundle eyelashes can be removed completely. To do this, before going to bed, apply olive or other vegetable oil to the eyelid area and in the morning you can easily remove all the bunches.

Beautiful, long, curled up eyelashes are the dream of every woman. They visually enlarge the eyes and give the look a special appeal.

Not all women have such a treasure. False eyelashes can correct the situation, but they do not last long, and their appearance is not particularly natural. Modern cosmetology offers a simple solution to the problem - building.

Today, almost all beauty salons offer eyelash extensions. But before deciding on this procedure, it is worth understanding the technology of its implementation and the types of material. It is important to study this issue in detail in order to choose the option that is right for you.

Varieties of eyelash extensions

The special popularity of eyelash extensions served as an impetus for the development and improvement of this service. Today, there are many types of this procedure.

Eyelash extension looks more natural!

Classification comes from a variety of criteria. Let's study each of them in detail.

Applied technologies

According to the technology of the procedure, eyelash extensions are divided into two varieties, they differ in the way they create the desired effect:

  1. Beam. In this case, artificial eyelashes are attached to natural eyelashes in several pieces, that is, in bunches.
  2. Ciliary. Each eyelash is attached separately.

Both beam and eyelash extensions have their pros and cons. The second method has a more natural appearance, but at the same time it is more expensive, and the extension procedure itself takes more time. The first method is somewhat cheaper and faster.

Classification of eyelashes by volume

Depending on what changes in the appearance of the eyelashes you want to achieve, the master determines the amount of applied hairs necessary to obtain it.

In addition, the location of the eyelashes is also of considerable importance. On this basis, eyelash extensions are divided as follows:

  1. Natural(or incomplete). In this case, artificial eyelashes are attached either only in the area of the corners of the eyes, or throughout the eyelid, but at intervals. This technique gives the greatest naturalness to eyelash extensions.
  2. Full. Hairs are attached to each native eyelash, except for those that are in the growth stage.
  3. 3D. This is the largest volume possible. It is achieved by attaching several artificial eyelashes to each natural eyelash.

You need to choose one or another volume according to the goal that you want to achieve. If you want to increase eyelashes for everyday makeup, then you should give preference to the first type. For special occasions, 3D volume is best suited.

Positive and negative points

Eyelash extensions are a great way to add definition to your eyes.

In addition to the external effect, this procedure has many advantages.

These include:

  • there is no need to paint eyelashes with mascara;
  • artificial eyelashes do not require curling;
  • unlike overhead, they practically do not harm native cilia;
  • visually change the shape of the eyes, allowing you to hide its flaws;
  • it is possible to do the procedure at home, since it does not require bulky and complex equipment;
  • you can freely swim in the reservoirs and not be afraid of rainy weather.

But there cannot be a barrel of honey without a fly in the ointment. Like any change in appearance, eyelash extensions carry with them some negative features:

  • you need to clean your eyes carefully using a tonic;
  • you can’t rub your eyes with your hands, the less often you touch the eyelids, the longer the artificial eyelashes will last;
  • it is necessary to monitor the posture during sleep: it will no longer be possible to bury your face in the pillow without harming the extended hairs;
  • it is worth abandoning moisturizers, they can dissolve glue;
  • there are some contraindications to the procedure;
  • at first, there may be a sensation of tingling of the eyelids.

As you can see, in this case, not everything is as perfect as we would like. But with eyelash extensions, these sacrifices justify themselves, since it is simply impossible to achieve such an expressive look in any other way.

Therefore, feel free to contact a specialist and start the transformation if you have no contraindications.

Eyelash removal at home:
One of the easiest ways to remove eyelash extensions at home is with a greasy cream. It is desirable that it be hypoallergenic.
Apply a thick cream along the lash line with a cotton swab and hold it for a few minutes. Under the influence of the cream, the eyelash glue will soften, and you can easily remove the lining.
After you complete the procedure, it will be useful to strengthen them. Burdock oil is perfect. Caring procedures should be done regularly.

Contraindications

There are some diseases and conditions of the body in which eyelash extensions cannot be done:

  • allergic reaction;
  • demodicosis;
  • psoriasis;
  • asthma;
  • viral colds;
  • conjunctivitis;
  • active loss of hair and eyelashes;
  • increased sensitivity of the lacrimal glands;
  • menstruation.

If you find in this list a disease or condition that you have at the time scheduled for the procedure, then it is better to refuse eyelash extensions or postpone it to a more favorable time.

Materials for the procedure

Achieving the desired effect with eyelash extensions is impossible without high-quality material.

To date, there are three main types of artificial hairs:

  • mink;
  • silk;
  • sable.

Based on these names, it can be assumed that animal hair is used to make artificial hairs. This is not true.

The use of mink or sable hair is not possible due to the allergenicity of this material. Also, it is not possible to bend the hairs and give them the desired shape.

Sable is the best material!

Usually, synthetic materials are used to make artificial eyelashes. Their names only indicate the appearance that can be achieved.

"Mink" - the thinnest hairs, they have less weight and more naturalness. "Silk" is much thicker, with the help of it a much larger volume is achieved.

The most fluffy material for eyelash extensions is "sable", with the help of this material the greatest length is achieved.

The latter material is distinguished by the highest characteristics not only in external manifestations, but also in quality. Such eyelashes do not bend, do not break and have the longest service life.

  • Don't touch your eyes! Touch your eyes only when applying makeup and removing it.
  • Don't paint too much! To prevent the eyelashes from peeling off, do not paint with mascara, they are already thick and beautiful.
  • Sleeping with your face in the pillow. Otherwise, when you wake up in the morning, you can find all your cilia on the pillow.
  • Do not soak in chlorinated water. Cilia are afraid of chlorinated water in the pool and salt water in the sea.
  • Do not curl eyelashes. A competent master will surely slightly curl your cilia, and self-curling can ruin them.

Possible effects

In addition to changing the volume and length, false eyelashes can change the shape of the eyelids. Such changes are called effects. There are several of them, and each has its own characteristics:

  1. Natural. To achieve it, hairs of the same length are used. They are fixed throughout the eyelid. This effect has the most natural appearance.
  2. Puppet. The longest possible artificial eyelashes are used and attached to the eyelashes.
  3. fox. This effect is achieved by eyelash extensions of hairs of different lengths. The largest eyelashes are attached at the outer corners of the eyes, while the length increases gradually.
  4. Squirrel. Material of various lengths is also used, but this effect is characterized by a sharp increase in size at the outer corner of the eye.
  5. sparse. Artificial eyelashes are attached through several relatives. This effect can achieve a natural appearance.
  6. multicolor. Eyelashes of bright unnatural colors are used.

The ability to choose the right effect is one of the most significant advantages that speak in favor of eyelash extensions. It makes it possible to visually change the shape of the eyes.

How to glue tuft eyelashes and can it be done at home. As it turns out - easily. Unlike the eyelash method, the beam technology is much easier to implement and the extension procedure takes much less time. However, as with any work with the face, accuracy and attention are required here.

Extension technology

The fundamental difference in eyelash extensions is not even the material itself - a ribbon, a bunch, a single hair, but the method of attachment.

  • Eyelash method involves fixing 1, 2, 3 or more hairs on each natural eyelash. The product is attached to the hair, and not to the skin, at some distance from the edge of the eyelid.
  • tape technology, on the contrary, it involves attachment only to the skin: the entire set of cilia is fixed exactly along the ciliary edge. This method does not involve long-term fastening, a maximum of a day. But false eyelashes can be used more than once.

  • The beam method occupies a middle position. The blunt tip of the bundle is glued to the skin, as close as possible to the hairline. But the product will be held much better if the beam is also fixed on a hair.

This combination is a ready-made bundle and a simple fixation method, and makes this method the best for eyelash extensions for yourself.

Bundle eyelashes

They are hairs collected in a bundle, usually 10 pieces each. The cilia are attached to each other at the base, forming a relatively thick, blunt tip. The bundles are made of different lengths, varying degrees of fluffiness, from hairs with different bends, and so on.

The big advantage of this solution is that the bundles can be independently selected in length and volume. So, to emphasize the cut of the eyes, thick long hairs are fixed in the corners. And in order to increase the volume of all eyelashes, bunches of different lengths are fixed - short at the inner corner, and long at the outer corner. In this way, a much more natural look is achieved than when using tape. The beams can be alternated in length: this edging of the eye makes the look radiant.

Eyelash bundles are of 2 types:

  • without nodules - the hairs are fastened so as to obtain a flat base. Such a model is fixed on the eyelashes, and not on the skin, so they are held somewhat worse. Remove them carefully so as not to injure your eyelashes. On the other hand, flat development turns out to be completely invisible to the eye, so there is no need to mask the attachment points with arrows;
  • nodular - at the base there is a nodule of a sufficiently large volume to be securely attached to the skin of the eyelid. This fixation is much stronger: the knot area is larger and the bundle can be fixed directly between natural eyelashes. They are very easy to put on and easy to remove. However, the knot is quite visible, so this option requires careful makeup.

The hairs are made from synthetic fibers. Natural ones often provoke allergies, so in fact, products made from silk or natural human hair are extremely rare. But the thickness of the hair in the bundle can be different. It is the thickness that is marked with such a figurative epithet as silk, sable, mink.

Decorative techniques

You can stick the bundles in different ways to get a different decorative effect.

  • Full volume - bundles can be attached along the entire ciliary edge. In this case, it is desirable to glue short eyelashes near the inner corner, and long - near the outer. This option looks the most natural.
  • A fox look is obtained by fixing a pair of long bunches in the very corner. The option is not suitable for a lowered eyelid, as it will emphasize this drawback. In the photo - fastening beams in the corners of the eye.
  • Squirrel - the beam is attached, stepping back a little from the edge to shift the focus.
  • Radiant look - the beams are fixed alternately: short, long, in order to visually "open" the eye.

For eyelash extensions at home, you will need the following:

  • bundles - are located, as a rule, in a special palette, from where they are easy to get;
  • tweezers - it is best to use a special one with curved tips;
  • special glue for building;
  • liquid eyeliner.

Materials and tools

Adhesive selection
Glue for tuft eyelashes is the second most important participant in the procedure. Given that the adhesive composition is in contact with the skin of the eyelid in close proximity to the mucosa, its safety and harmlessness should be given no less attention than water resistance and fixation speed.

Glue must be hypoallergenic. However, it should be noted that the higher its security, the lower the strength of the connection. Therefore, in fact, they resort to compromises: if the skin is not prone to inflammation and irritation, you can use a quick fix composition, for example. But with a tendency to allergies, you will have to prefer extension options designed for a short time.

Adhesives are classified according to consistency and drying speed.

  • A and B - have a rather thick consistency, do not seize immediately. Glue group A is hypoallergenic and is allowed when building even the lower eyelashes, if such a need arises. The second option is most suitable for beginners, as it freezes somewhat more slowly and allows you to adjust the position of the hair.
  • C - has an average consistency and an average drying time. The glue keeps the eyelash extensions up to 4 weeks.
  • D and C - has a liquid consistency, seizes quickly, so high precision is required during work.
  • "UltraSuperBonding" - an elastic compound. For centuries, it is practically not felt.
  • "Ultra Strong" - provides a very long-term result, up to 3 months.

The glue is available in black and transparent. When building in bunches, the first one is more often used, since colored hairs in this case are used extremely rarely.

Tips to help you grow your own eyelashes:

Sticking technology

It is not so difficult to build tuft eyelashes at home. Firstly, the nodular ones, in principle, are attached to the skin, which makes things much easier, and secondly, the number of bundles is noticeably smaller compared to the number of products for eyelash extensions.

First of all, they prepare the workplace: they create fairly good lighting, lay out the beams in the order of gluing. Cosmetics are carefully removed with special means.

  • Degrease natural eyelashes and eyelid skin with a special tool. In no case should you wipe the skin with alcohol or an alcohol-containing tincture, since alcohol is very irritating to the eyes.

It is necessary to degrease: the hairs are covered with a natural grease, which is far from completely removed with a wash or warm water. In order for artificial hairs to hold tight, it is necessary to provide sufficient adhesion between synthetic fibers and natural eyelashes, and this is precisely what fat prevents.

  • A drop of glue is placed on a glass plate or a piece of cardboard. Correctly squeezing out the glue is dosed at the rate of 4-5 beams: it dries pretty quickly.
  • The bundle is picked up with tweezers, dipped in glue with a blunt tip. If there is a lot of glue on the eyelashes, you need to wipe the excess on a napkin.
  • The bundle is glued as close as possible to the hairline or even between the eyelashes. Hold for a few seconds for the composition to seize. If knotless eyelashes are attached, then first the tip of the bundle is passed over the base lash to distribute the glue and hold the bundle so that it is in contact with both the skin and the eyelash.
  • It is advisable to start from the outer corner, since it is more difficult to glue here. The closer to the inner corner, the shorter the bundles need to be glued.

  • To accurately fix the beams in their place, for clarity, you can immediately draw an arrow on the eyelid and glue along this line. Thus, the hairs will be placed more evenly, and the attachment point will be masked.
  • After the end of the procedure, you can treat the eyelashes with a fixative.

Eyelash removal

False eyelashes should not be used for too long and often. Waiting for artificial hairs to peel off on their own is also unreasonable. It's pretty easy to unplug them yourself.

  • The skin of the eyelids is lubricated with a fat cream. The grease quickly dissolves the glue and the hair comes off easily.
  • Remove them with tweezers, each bundle separately. You need to pick up the hairs not at the tip, but closer to the base.
  • Synthetic eyelashes are washed with warm water, dried with a napkin and placed in a container for storage. The product can be used up to 5 times.

How to glue the beam eyelashes yourself can be seen in the video. Many well-known beauty salons post training lessons on their websites for advertising purposes.
