For the manufacture of boxes of secrets you will need -

6 sheets of thick paper;

1 sheet for the outside of the box and a contrasting sheet for the lid;

4 sheets for inner boxes.

Cut out as follows (all measurements are in inches - 1 inch equals 2.54 cm):

outer part of the box: 6 x 11;

box cover: 8.5 x 8.5;

4 inner boxes: 8 x 8;

How to make a secret box

Let's start making the box with 4 inner boxes. All of them are made according to the same scheme. See below for a step-by-step photo of production.

1. We draw two lines from the wrong side of our paper square from corners to corners.

2. Now we turn the corners to the center of the intersection of the lines on all four sides (like an envelope), and then unfold them again.

3. Then we divide the distance between the center and the fold in half and again fold along this line from all four sides - these are the sides of our box.

For clarity, everything is lined with a marker in the figure, but this is not necessary.

4. Then we cut out the four shaded triangles and get the following:

6. Now we collect our box. It does everything without glue, you just need to firmly press all the corners and folds (although, if desired, you can use glue).

Thus, all 4 inner boxes and a lid are made. The lid of the box, however, as well as the box itself, can be decorated according to your taste and desire.

We take a sheet of paper, measuring 15.25 x 287 cm, and bend it in the center, then divide both halves in half again and bend again. Thus, we got 4 rectangles, each of which will contain one box. We place our boxes on them as shown in the figure and glue them.

After the glue dries, just bend the sheet with the boxes along the folds

Here are some options for boxes with a secret

Option 2

Box with a secret with a voluminous heart

To make a box you will need:
1. 3 colored sheets of paper;
2. 2 sheets of thick cardboard measuring 24 x 12 cm and 17.4 x 17.4 cm;
3. Satin ribbon - 45 cm;
4. Ruler, pencil, scissors, curly scissors, double-sided adhesive tape (can be replaced with PVA glue) and Moment Crystal glue, volumetric adhesive tape, stamp.

Let's start making the box:
1. Cut out a cardboard rectangle measuring 24 x 12 cm. We make folds along the side 24 cm at a distance from the edge of 3 cm, 9 cm, 15 cm, 21 cm. On the sides of the 12 cm side, we make folds at a distance of 3 cm from the edge of each side. We make cuts and glue the corners. In the middle of the bottom of the box, we cut out rectangles so that we get two half-boxes and a bottom. See photo.

2. From the second piece of cardboard measuring 17.4 x 17.4 cm, we also make folds at a distance of 5.8 cm from all sides. This figure was taken for a reason, it is this size that is optimal for the box to open well. If you choose other sizes for your box, be sure to consider the fact that the inner box must be slightly smaller than the outer one in order to open well. We glue the walls of the inner box as shown in the photo.

3. Glue the inner box in the center of the outer box.

4. The base of the box with the secret is ready, then we decorate it at our discretion. I cut six 5.5 x 2.3 cm rectangles and two 5.5 x 5.5 cm squares from colored paper for the outer design of the box. And six squares of other paper with curly scissors for decorating the inner box, also 5.5 x 5.5 cm in size.

5. The color of the paper matched, but for the interior decoration the paper seemed a bit boring to me and I randomly decorated it with stamps in the form of flowers.

"Box with a secret"

This game can be played in the 2nd year of a child's life. It not only develops thinking, but also serves as a good exercise for the baby's fingers.

To play you will need various boxes.

It can be:

- boxes with a retractable box, opening according to the principle of a matchbox;

- boxes with a movable lid (like a pencil case);

- boxes with different fasteners;

- various boxes for perfumes, packages with a transparent lid are especially interesting, through which you can see what is inside;

- boxes with a zipper or with a lid on the buttons.

Inside the box there should be some small invisible object that makes sounds and arouses the interest of the child.

Draw the attention of the baby to this item and make him want to open the box and get the item.

During the game, support his independent actions, but in no case do not solve the proposed task for him.

If the kid, after long unsuccessful attempts, refuses to solve the problem, help him and make a "discovery" together.

When the child opens the box and takes out the hidden object, be sure to praise it, examine the find together, and then hide it back again to allow the child to repeat the method of opening found.
