During 2012, we constantly informed our readers about new exhibitions on topics of interest to them, conducted literature reviews and discussions. Book exhibitions with incoming literature were especially popular, of course, there were very few such exhibitions due to the fact that there were few new literature receipts this year.

After analyzing the work, you can understand that modern children are happy to read classic children's literature, are fond of science fiction and books about our smaller brothers.

In the microdistrict of the children's department of the library, there are 451 children from grades 1 to 9 and 70 preschoolers. For the most successful organization of work on servicing children's readers, the library carried out the following work:

Working with fiction
14.01 "Winnie the Pooh and all-all-all" Literary hour based on the fairy tale story by A. Milne. It is known - "who goes to visit in the morning, he acts wisely." But it turns out that the one who reads Winnie the Pooh every day is even wiser. Because while reading, he can: smile, laugh, mourn, unravel the mystery, get scared, think and have a great mood every day. Pupils of the 3rd grade of the secondary school talked about this and many other things during the literary hour “Winnie the Pooh and Everything, Everything, Everything”, conducted by the librarian. With the help of a colorful presentation, the children learned about the life of the creator of books about Winnie the Pooh, the story of the appearance of a funny bear cub. It turns out that Winnie the Pooh is the real toy of Alan Milne's son, Christopher Robin. And Winnie owes his name to the Winnipeg bear from the London Zoo. By the way, the guys also got acquainted with the history of the appearance of the bear in the zoo with pleasure.

Pooh Bear books have been translated into 25 languages and have taken their place in the hearts and on the shelves of millions of readers. And a survey of English radio conducted at the end of the last century showed that this book took 17th place in the list of the most striking and significant works published in the twentieth century.

Girls and boys are familiar with Winnie the Pooh from the wonderful translations of Boris Zakhoder and animated films by Fyodor Khitruk. Therefore, the questions proposed by the quiz librarian were handled easily. Although they had to remember who Piglet and Winnie were hunting, what gifts friends gave Eeyore for his birthday, why Pooh got stuck in the Rabbit's hole and much more. Well, as a prize, the schoolchildren were happy to watch their favorite cartoon about the adventures of toys again.
19.01"Lewis Carroll, writer and mathematician" Conversation. Anyone who has looked at least once into the fairy tales about Alice, in which extraordinary heroes act, strange creatures live, amazing events take place, are struck by the special vitality of the characters, the inner (though sometimes strange and contrary to common sense) logic of their actions. One should not, however, forget that "Alice" is not just a fairy tale. Rather, it is a reportage, a report, notes written in the wake of a trip to an unusual world - Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, where their own laws apply. And this whole world was created, inhabited and presented to us by Lewis Carroll. Not just a writer, but a mathematician. And that is why the laws in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass are special, directly related to mathematics. The guys who were present at our meeting received a lot of interesting information. And everyone decided for themselves to re-read the book of this wonderful author.
21.01"Flower of seven flowers"- under this title, high-profile readings were held in the 3rd grade based on the fairy tale by V.P. Kataev. This kind fairy tale by Valentina Kataeva teaches us: when desires appear, first think about whether what you wished now is necessary, whether the fulfillment of yours will bring desires are a nuisance, an inconvenience to others. And most importantly, one must try to fulfill one's desires oneself. And it is not at all necessary to have the petals of a flower - a seven-colored flower in order to perform reasonable deeds. It is enough to have a good heart to come to the aid of others in difficult times and not wait for you to After reading the book, we discussed with the guys the heroes of this fairy tale, behavior. And everyone imagined himself in the place of the main character, answering the question: "What would I do if I were in her place?"
31.01"Heroes of the work of J. Tolkien" The Hobbit, or There and Back Again ". Quiz. In 1954, a book by an unknown author at that time, J. R. R. Tolkien, went on sale in America. The title of the book was The Lord of the Rings. The book had the effect of an exploding bomb and stirred up the entire society of that time. The hitherto unseen magical world captivated readers who believed in this beautiful and deep fairy tale.
At the moment, with its circulation and the number of languages into which it has been translated, this book is comparable to the Bible. After the release of the book, ideas about elves, dwarves and orcs began to spread around the world, in the form that the author described them, even if it was different from traditional fairy tales and legends. Loyal fans appear - "Tolkienists" who organize staged fights in the costumes of their favorite characters and play scenes with their participation. At one time, Jules Verne was the same revolutionary, who, on the verge of the 19th and 20th centuries, fantasized about wonderful inventions and travels, which later became a reality. In the 20-30s of the 20th century, his fantasies and vision embodied in the works of Alexander Belyaev. Rapid travel of man into space, cities in weightlessness, the development of human mental abilities and breakthroughs in medicine are far from all the topics raised by Belyaev in his works. At the same time, in Oxford, J. R. R. Tolkien tells his three sons and daughter on fairy tale night. More precisely - the continuation of the fairy tale, which he invented himself. So gradually he gathered material for the story "The Hobbit, or There and Back Again." Having seen the light, "The Hobbit" became another bestseller and received many awards. The publishers demanded a sequel from the author. However, Tolkien, head of the English department and busy with family affairs, found it very difficult to find time to write a continuation of the saga. Because of this, the work was delayed enough.
It took approximately 17 years to complete The Lord of the Rings. The first two volumes were presented to the public in 1954, and the third and last volume - in 1955. Since then, the heroes of the work of JRR Tolkien seem to have received an independent life. This trilogy is rightfully considered a cultural phenomenon. Its depth, thoughtfulness and incomparable atmosphere captivate more than the first generation of readers. Having prepared a quiz based on the works of J. R. R. Tolkien, our readers took part in it with pleasure.
4.02 Literary holiday dedicated to the work of S.Ya. Marshak. 2nd grade. Creativity S.Ya. Marshak for children is varied. His work reflects: folk tales, children's games, circus performances, zoo inhabitants, school joys and sorrows, children's friendship, seasons, adult professions and much more. All Marshak's works are marked by good humor, a smile, warm gratitude to people for their work, kindness, love of life. S.Ya. Marshak is a brilliant translator of children's poetry. He owns translations of works by E. Lehr, R. Kipling, A. Milne, R. Stevenson.

"The world will disappear at that very hour,

When I disappear
How he died for your eyes,
Departed friends.
There will be no sun and moon,
All flowers fade.
There won't even be silence
There will be no darkness...
No, the world will exist
And even though I'm not in it,
But I managed to embrace the whole world,
All millions of years.
I thought, I felt, I lived
And all that I could comprehend
And this right deserved
For your immortal moment.

These lines are from a poem by S.Ya. Marshak can be regarded as an autograph ... as a personal message to each of us ...

The famous Russian writer Samuil Yakovlevich Marshak is familiar and close to each of us since childhood. His poems are constantly heard at school.

Being the founder of Soviet children's literature, S.Ya. Marshak was proud that his reader was a growing man:

My reader of a special kind:
He knows how to walk under the table.
But I'm glad to know that I know
With a reader of the year 2000. (From the memoirs of S.Ya. Marshak)

Marshak began writing poetry at the age of four. By the age of eleven, he had already written several long poems and translated Horace's ode.

Marshak began his work in children's literature with picture books for young children. “- this was the beginning of our literary holiday dedicated to S.Ya. Marshak.

Children love Marshak's work and most know him from early childhood, so the conversation was informative and interesting.

18.03 "Always in moving"- to the 200th anniversary of A.I. Herzen, Russian writer and philosopher. Conversation. "Always in moving!" Such a motto, Alexander Herzen believed, corresponded to his life and destiny. Radical republican, liberal socialist, brilliant writer and educator. A freethinker and a revolutionary who does not recognize any other weapon than the word. The leader of public and social thought of the 19th century, recognized in Europe as the best publicist. This is one side of the image and fate of Herzen.

Another is this: an illegitimate child, to whom the father was forced to give an invented surname - from the German word herz - heart. An exile persecuted by the tsarist regime. A man who survived the betrayal and death of his beloved wife and children, and who himself violated the Christian commandment - with the wife of his closest friend.

Such was Alexander Herzen, the first Russian dissident who tried to "rock the boat" of Russian statehood from abroad, where he left in 1847.

His methods were quite correct: "There is no place for free Russian speech at home, it can be heard here . Open, free speech is a great thing, it is not without reason that people give their lives for it. . "Violence and terror can only clear the place. But nothing can be created" , Herzen considered.

22.05"Letters travel through time"- by the day of Slavic writing and culture (May 24), conduct a game-journey. The Day of Slavic writing and culture is annually celebrated in Slavic countries on May 24th. This is a holiday of enlightenment, native word, native book, native literature and culture. On this day, we bow our heads with gratitude before the feat of our ancestors. For the purpose of spiritual and moral development and education of the individual, the conscious acceptance of spiritual traditions and folk values in the first grade, a fascinating journey through the stations "Letters travel in time" took place. At the stations, the children got acquainted with the history of the emergence of Slavic writing, with the Church Slavonic alphabet, with the enlighteners Cyril and Methodius. And the journey ended with learning the Slavic games.
26.05"The creative path of Konstantin Paustovsky"- to the 115th anniversary of the Russian writer. Conversation. The coloring of the early work of the young writer and some features of the later period determined the conspicuous bookishness of the young man Paustovsky. His heroes, as a rule, are characterized through their attitude to books, paintings, musical plays. They read Dickens and Rodenbach, Lermontov and Hoffmann, Goncharov and Maeterlinck, Frans and Babel, Proust and Hamsun, Farrer and Renier, they quote from memory the author's favorite poems by Pushkin and Batyushkov, Fet and Beranger, Blok and May, Voloshin and Kipling. Yes, and the writer himself sees these characters as similar to the portraits of Renoir (Khatije in the story "Romantics"), then to those who come from Stevenson's novel (old man Ernest in the story "Pneumatic Door"), then to Chekhov's Vershinin (Uncle Kolya in The Tale of Life "). Any country, any locality or city appears in the works of the writer already refracted through the prism of certain historical and cultural ideas. Such in his image is even Colchis in

story of the same name. The undoubted originality of Paustovsky's Colchis, which created the tradition of corresponding ideas about this country, reveals a complex nature: the country becomes Pushkin's "fiery Colchis", and Hippocrates' Colchis, and the Argonauts' Colchis. Paustovsky's understanding of the living connection of generations, including generations of "masters of literature", explains some of his features as a novelist. The origins of such samples of the writer's prose as chapters from the Tale

about life" - "Night Stagecoach", "Water from the Limpopo River", "The Old Man in the Station Buffet" and others, with their special dapper completeness, showiness, play and brilliance of form - should hardly be sought in the tradition of the Russian story. Paustovsky's short story undoubtedly absorbed the experience of foreign, in particular French, literature.

Paustovsky is an artist of a long ideological and creative development. And this is largely due to the fact that in his youth he was not so much a participant as an "interested witness" of the era of broad social movements and revolutionary changes.

5.06 Game-journey through fairy tales A.S. Pushkin's Journey with the Cat the scientist. A game-journey with a cat to scientists according to the fairy tales of A.S. Pushkin took place in the library. Traveled 4th and 5th grade school. Not everything worked out. The guys sometimes confused the plots of fairy tales, they didn’t remember the necessary lines of fairy tales, the riddles seemed difficult, but it was still very fun and interesting. It was decided to hold such meetings more often.
20.06 Exhibition-view of the best books for children "Masterpieces created by the word". Today, book shelves are full of an abundance of modern literature. But how to navigate in the book space? How to choose high-quality literature that will have a positive impact on the formation of a teenager's personality? The book exhibition contained modern literature for teenagers, where the best works, according to experts, were collected. The problem with a teenager is that he grows up without knowing how to do it. Unfortunately, those wonderful classical works that diligent teachers "go through" with children "according to the programs" rarely provide an answer to the burning questions of a growing personality and a growing organism. To comprehend and thereby smooth out the "crisis of growth" - such an opportunity can be given to the teenage reader by publications of modern works, moreover, realistic ones - without miracles, magic and other attributes of fake life.

22.06 Literature review was held at the book exhibition. Unfortunately, there are not so many children's books “about the truth of life” in Russia, and most of them are translations.

Almost the only publishing house in the country that positions itself as a "teenager" and at the same time is ready to be responsible for the quality of its books is called "Scooter". A "youth novel" by the Swedish writer Annika Tor "Island in the Sea" has recently been released here. Two Jewish refugee girls, adopted by Swedish families in 1939, find themselves in a new, unaccustomed world, where strangers are unfriendly, hostile to those who are different ... today in our country a book about overcoming such conflicts is more than necessary.

Equally relevant and lyrical is the prose of Ulf Stark (Sweden), which we also have in good translations: “Eccentrics and bores”, “Can you whistle, Johanna?”, “Sixten”. Stark's teenagers, in search of the meaning of life, sometimes commit extravagant acts, but they sincerely care for their loved ones and, growing up, understand that in life there should be a little harmless eccentricity and a little bit of useful tediousness.

The girls are destined for the stories of the English writer Jacqueline Wilson, published by Rosman. They cleverly and delicately talk to readers about typical and various teenage troubles - from pimples and excess weight to running away from the family and the death of a best friend. Wilson writes truthfully, but without gloominess, without forcing "darkness", and her books always outline ways out of difficult situations.

Similar "life" stories, addressed to a greater extent to boys, are three stories about Markus by the Norwegian writer Klaus Hagerup, published by the St. Petersburg "Azbuka".

Problems of self-determination and self-affirmation of the child in the family and school are devoted to the funny, "hooligan" (or, as teenagers say, cool) book by Terence Blacker (England) "We bet it's a boy!" ("Rosman", 2005).

As for Russian writers, they rarely develop teenage themes in a realistic way. There are authors who are trying very hard to solve the corresponding creative tasks, but at the same time, the “set” of the problematics comes through in every line. Such, for example, is Marietta Chudakova's story "The Cases and Horrors of Zhenya Osinkina." Here, a conditionally ideal heroine of thirteen years old, with the help of ideal friends and helpers, travels around the country, ideally fulfilling a high mission, while the author, meanwhile, explains in detail and in detail how to live properly, how to receive guests, how to behave in the subway, how to plant trees in the yard areas in small towns...

Exceptionally primitive, and often absurd, are the stories that are published under the pseudonyms "Tanya Sparrow" or "Sisters Sparrow". Still unable to cope with the development of plots and characters Tamara Kryukova.

The well-known St. Petersburg prose writer Valery Voskoboynikov continues his literary work. In the story "Everything will be all right!" the hero-schoolboy establishes his mother's personal life, helps his older friend straighten out relations with the girl and, risking himself, rushes to the defense of a classmate whom the bastards avenge for being different.

Two books by Muscovite Boris Minaev, laureate of the Cherished Dream Minor Prize, deserve close attention. These are "Leva's Childhood" and "The Genius of Judo" - stories about a warm-hearted, shy boy-thinker.

Among the largest modern prose writers is the subtle and stylish Marina Moskvina (Moscow), whose name is included in the Honorary List. Andersen. The sparkling witty, wise and original story in the stories "My dog loves jazz" has just been republished by the Gayatri publishing house. The second edition of the book “Learn to see! Lessons of creative ups. This is not a novel or a story, but a series of extended essays that vividly and extremely convincingly tell readers about how beautiful, interesting, and unpredictable "ordinary" life is.

Moskvina is also remarkable in that it gives the reader a powerful charge of “positive”, visual and not at all boring lessons in love of life. Yes, and all the good writers listed help to develop the reader's personality, they teach not to be afraid of life, but to trust it: to understand other people, overcome crises, grow up smartly and with pleasure.

But even from "reading" teenagers of middle school age one often hears: "But I don't like poetry!" why be surprised? Of course, there are the best examples of classical poetry that are included in the school curriculum. But for them it is so boring that over time they stop reading poetry at all (especially boys), not suspecting that quite recently Oleg Grigoriev lived in the world, who composed such boyish poems - eccentric, mischievous, sometimes frankly hooligan, but always peculiar.

I took paper and pen

I drew an iron.

I tore a leaf, threw it into a bucket -

There was a sound in the bucket.

The publishing house "Scooter" published Grigoriev's "Poems for Children". "Hooligan Poems" is a great book to read. If we refrain from discussing the techniques for creating a comic effect, then we can say simply and clearly - you will laugh! These verses are especially close to a teenager who, at a certain stage of his life, thinks that he "has had enough of everything." Sometimes a person wants to feel like a bully in order to "reset" irritation and return to normal life. Poems by Oleg Grigoriev provide just such an opportunity.

And Arthur Givargizov's poems allow you to ironically comprehend the imperfection of the world and thereby rise above its troubles.

Somehow, running through the forest from a bear with a boar,

I thought: “I wonder if I’ll run away, and then what?

Is it worth running away for the sake of a sad life?

To school and from school, to school and again ...

Either there, or from there ... that is, to school and from school ...

No, I thought, I won’t run away, I’ll go on foot.

Givargizov worked for many years as a teacher at a children's music school and enjoyed writing "non-pedagogical" texts on pedagogical topics. His poems are paradoxical, always constructed in such a way that an absolutely logical development of events leads to a completely unpredictable ending. They are also somewhat “hooligan”, but his hooliganism is not an expression of life pessimism, but an inspired game of a flexible, free mind, far from standards, clichés, stencils.

Still my cat

Reminds me of someone

Especially when it barks

And with his beak knocks on the window.

The poems of this author are completely unlike the usual, classical samples. They are sometimes deliberately careless, as if written in a hurry; their intonation is not “literary”, but “colloquial”, lively, natural. This apparent lightness is the result of a truly poetic work of thought and imagination, observation and erudition.

11.09 “The work of A.K. Tolstoy"- to the 200th anniversary of the Russian writer. Book exhibition. All the works of Alexei Tolstoy are full of emotionality, brightness and sincerity. Many of them are dedicated to animals, clearly noting their habits. More than one generation has grown up on the tales of Alexei Tolstoy. They introduce the life of ordinary people, nature, bring up honesty, diligence, kindness, courage, caring, responsiveness in children. To acquaint the child with the works of this talented Russian writer Let the work of Alexei Tolstoy become a real assistant in the development, upbringing and education of every child. We set ourselves such a goal in the design of the book exhibition.

I liked this piece. Most of all I liked the flower, it seemed to me very unusual and beautiful, because it was very hard for him to live, he worked day and night, but he did not lose heart. And the flower, because of its torment, was fragrant, and even shone. He was a real hero. I also liked the girl Dasha, because she did a very good deed, she did not leave the poor flower, she eased his suffering by fertilizing the clay.

I really liked this story about a beautiful flower. I advise everyone to read this good work about a wonderful flower .... " (Kirillova Tatiana). There were other reviews of the guys, but this one most reflects the opinion of the majority.
13.11 Book and magazine exhibition "Poets of the Twentieth Century". Book exhibition.
28.11“I am the author of the last, unfinished page”-S.Ya. Marshak - to the 125th anniversary of the children's writer. Conversation. These people don't die. They remain forever among us, in books that cannot die. (B.N. Polevoy). Who, from childhood, does not know by heart “There lived a scattered man on Basseynaya Street”, “A lady walks along a wire like a telegram” or these sonorous, cheerful, perky lines: “A pike opens its mouth, but you can’t hear what it sings”? But are only Marshak's childhood poems remembered, sunk into memory for a long time, for a lifetime? He himself felt like an eternal worker, struggling with serious illnesses, locked up by illness within four walls, overcome by constant requests by phone to speak somewhere, to come somewhere, he lived majestically, solemnly, setting an example of tireless, stubborn, ascetic service to literature.

Marshak himself once mentioned that the famous 121st sonnet of Shakespeare "It is better to be a sinner than to be known as a sinner ..." was translated for several years.

But if one sonnet required so much work from the poet, how much effort was put into translating all 154 sonnets!
4.12 "Reading Russian classics"- to the 200th anniversary of I.A. Goncharova. Book exhibition of the writer's works. Ivan Alexandrovich Goncharov (6 (18) June 1812 - 15 (27) September 1891)- famous Russian writer, prose writer, literary critic, corresponding member of the Imperial Academy of Sciences. A classic of Russian literature, who created in his work the image of the Russian national character.

They study a person after his death, according to his deeds and deeds, how they freely manifested themselves in life ... Then only this is true and useful. His thoughts, letters, words, everything that remains after him, are the property of the living .

From an unpublished letter to I.A. Goncharov to S.A. Nikitenko.

Environmental education and healthy lifestyle

17.01 "Nature lovers". The book exhibition is addressed to nature lovers who are interested in animals, plants, minerals or weather and climate phenomena. The objective of the exhibition is to turn passive nature lovers into active ones, to teach them not only to admire its beauties, its large and small creatures, and not only to protect nature, but to study it, to reveal its secrets on their own.

29.02 "Our planet is in ecological danger"- conversation. During the conversation, the children were given the idea that the planet Earth is a huge ball. Most of the globe is covered with water - oceans and seas. In addition to water, there are continents - solid land - dry land where people live. There are several such continents: America, Africa, Australia, Europe, Asia, Antarctica. There are two poles on the globe: North and South.

There are many living beings on planet Earth. All living beings need clean water, clean air. Planet Earth is now in danger: in many places the water and air have become dirty.

In order to save our planet, we must love nature from childhood, study it, treat it correctly.

We consolidated the knowledge of children about why water is needed (to drink, wash, clean, water plants, cook food ...), where to get water (from a tap, from a river, from a well, spring, store), why boil water, what dissolves in water and what not. They reminded that it is very difficult to get clean water from the river, so it must be protected and saved.

14.03 Environmental competition among middle school students "Take nature as a co-author." Children from grades 1-5 took part in the competition. The children brought a huge number of drawings about nature to the library. The best ones were placed on the exhibition, where everyone who comes to our hospitable recreation center could see them.
11.04 "All this is called nature, let's always protect it"- (the day of environmental knowledge. Nature ... For 1000 years we have fought with it, conquered it, transformed it, mercilessly destroyed it. And now the boomerang we threw is back. We ourselves raised the sword over our own heads.

Deeper and more sensitive wounds

Man inflicts on his Earth.
Gray-haired troubles the oceans,
Breaks the beds of life-giving rivers.

Nature is beautiful - she herself makes the life of those who love her, who knows how to look at her with kind eyes, more beautiful, brighter, richer. And further. It is important not only to stand up for wildlife yourself. It is important to convince your comrades of this, and, if necessary, to take the hand of an adult man raised above nature. Mankind cannot exist without animals and plants. And our task is to protect them. This is what was discussed on April 11 in the library throughout the day. I should note that our children are very active in all environmental activities. Actively participate in all promotions and events. And this is very pleasing.

19.04 Literary and musical competition "My Favorite Eco City"- with students in grades 5-7. The guys acted as correspondents who were looking for the necessary information on various environmental problems. The classes were divided into groups. Prepared ecological chants and small skits. It was very interesting and exciting at this meeting.

21.04 "The land of my living face" Book exhibition about nature.

25.04 "Nabat of our anxiety"(publicists about ecology). Review of newspaper and magazine materials: “We, people, participants and members of a large planetary family - earthly humanity, must not forget that ecology is not so much our home as we are one of the components of this home. True, the material, figuratively speaking, is not always favorable and suitable for construction. Nature would do just fine without this unreliable material for building a happy and prosperous home for diverse ecosystems, excluding humans as a species. If humanity today refuses to help Her Majesty Ecology, then at the same time this humanity personally signs the death sentence to itself, and this sentence is not subject to appeal - it's all a matter of time.
Many consider environmental protection classes a waste of time, money, effort, nerves and health. But excuse me, gentlemen, is it possible?! Understand and accept, like air, like water, like solar heat, that ecology is our home. More dear than the house we live in. If we do not spit on the carpets and furniture in our apartment, do not break and destroy our personal property (movable and immovable) property like vandals, then why do we so easily and with impunity raise our hand to the most sacred thing that we have - to our Motherland from nature." ( AAndrey Smetankin)
This and much more was discussed in this day's environmental review.

24.04 "The land of my living face". Review of literature at the book exhibition.

15.05 “Nature is a sweet creation, a flower, you are an ornament in life”. Such an unusual exhibition was organized in our library. With the consent of their parents, the children brought their favorite flowers, which “lived” with us for a short time. But besides the fact that the guys brought flowers, the lights prepared an interesting informative story or legend about their own. It was very exciting.

1.06. Holiday for Children's Day: "Rainbow of the Planet of Childhood" - under this name, this year a children's holiday was held on Children's Day. Without departing from the tradition, children, as always, were expected to play, songs, dances, contests and entertainment on this warm summer day.

2.06. “Summer-summer we ask for a visit!”- drawing competition. Working together with the school, every year we hold joint holidays and meetings with the children's health camp at the school. This year we made a separate program and a competition of drawings on asphalt. Children attend such events with great pleasure and take an active part in all undertakings. And this year, on the entire asphalted territory of our rural recreation center, the guys left a variety of drawings - colorful, bright and interesting.
11.07 Exhibition-quiz consisting of three sections : "These amazing plants", "Treasures of the animal world", "The Red Book is an encyclopedia of hopes". Each section included a question, the answer to which the guys found from the materials presented at the exhibition.
18.07 "Plants - familiar and unfamiliar". Literature review. There are so many plants around us that are familiar to us at first glance, but we know absolutely nothing about them. To fill in the gaps, such an interesting literature review was prepared from which the guys learned a lot of informative and interesting things.
9.08 "Paths of the native land". Electronic presentation. Knowing your area is important and necessary. For this purpose, we have prepared an electronic presentation about our village Chernava.
18.09 Ecological trip for grades 1-4 "With a box, a basket, along the forest paths". The trip "With a box, a basket along the forest paths" was liked by the why-and-nothings. The guys guessed riddles, read poetry, ate apples, grapes, hawthorn and, of course, got acquainted with a book exhibition.
21.09 "All books about his nature"(about our countryman writer Mikhail Prishvin). Conversation. Prishvin's life was typical for a Russian person who survived three wars and a revolution. The fate of M. M. Prishvin is the characteristic fate of a Russian person, precisely because his true life almost always passes in the shadows. She never declares herself loudly and at the same time is present every moment in the writer's word.
Each phrase, even each word of Prishvin, as in poetry, carries a great semantic load. This is such wise poetry in prose. There are no edifications in it, but there is kindred, chaste attention to everything, and to the person first of all: you are hungry - I will feed you, you are lonely - I will love you.
Everything the writer has - the world, nature, man - in the aggregate constitutes the beauty of life, which must be defended, fighting evil in any of its manifestations. It was this topic that was devoted to the fairy tale "Pantry of the Sun". In it we meet the familiar signs of a folk Russian fairy tale, starting from the fabulous landscape, the conversations of birds, animals, and ending with a happy denouement with the victory of good over evil.
And at the same time - this is a story that expands our knowledge of life. Reading this book, we will learn about cooperage and the healing properties of cranberries, the importance of the forest for humans and how the hunter rounds up wolves, and what are the habits of a hare and a fox, a wolf and a black grouse, why is it necessary, especially on swamp, keep to the hard path and what are the big peat bogs.
Much that Prishvin writes about in his works is not fantasy. All his work is based on real events, his own observations and impressions.
“Nowhere in the world is there such a wonderful language as Russian,” wrote Prishvin. “Take, for example, the word“ Motherland ”. ..."
Prishvin is one of the most original writers. He is not like anyone - neither here, nor in world literature. Gorky wrote about him: "I have not met any of the Russian writers, I have not felt such a harmonious combination of love for the Earth and knowledge about it, as I see and feel it with you." And again: "You know perfectly well forests and swamps, fish and birds, grasses and animals, dogs and insects, the world known by you is surprisingly rich and wide."
Prishvin's word is unusually modern, especially in the tragic moments of our lives, at the turning point, although it seems that Prishvin's work is quite successful: he wrote about nature and is known as a singer of nature, but thinking this way is the same as entering the forest, being sure that it is only for recreation and intended. But the life of nature goes according to its wise deep laws. Fish need clean water - we will protect our reservoirs. There are various valuable animals in the forests, steppes, mountains - we will protect our forests, steppes, mountains.
Fish - water, bird - air, beast - forest, steppe, mountains. And a man needs a home. And to protect nature means to protect the homeland.
Prishvin's creativity is like a ringing that is reborn, again heard by us, which is now going wider and wider. In such a difficult hour of our lives, Prishvin's word sounds louder and louder. He survived the most difficult historical cataclysms and still served the eternal.

The library is in need of a major overhaul, updating furniture and purchasing various equipment.

This year the windows were replaced with plastic ones, we hope that they will also do a major overhaul.

The library works together with the Central Children's Gallery, with schools, the Society for the Disabled, and the Museum.

There is a story of grandmother Fatima about the traditions and customs of the Bashkir people, about friendship. All this was associated with the epic "Ural-batyr" / Appendix /

The main idea of all events is citizenship. Young people should know the past, show respect for the participants in the Great Patriotic War and labor, respect for the defenders of the Motherland.

Spiritual and moral education

The issue of spiritual and moral education of children is one of the key problems facing every parent, society. The task of the library is to assist readers in the development of active life positions, intolerance to deviations from the norms of morality. The soul of any child is a fragile vessel and it must be filled with light, kindness and love, which is what we strive for in our work.

Leisure activities

To spend free time in our library, there is a circle "Academy of the Curious", which is visited twice a week. Members of the circle are also participants in almost all ongoing events.

In winter and spring there are a lot of different activities in a playful and entertaining way. Vacation for children is not only a time of rest, it is a discharge of accumulated tension, restoration of health, development of creative abilities, a time of discovery and adventure.

Conducted various competitions with the participation of children and parents. The competition "Mom, Dad and Me - Reading Family" was especially successful. Application /. This event helped children and parents get to know each other better and become even closer.

One of the first days of autumn is called Beauty Day. There is an expression “beauty will save the world”. There were beautifully decorated tables with vegetables, fruits, bouquets of flowers, crafts made from natural materials. Between the two teams - "Gems" and "Autumn Nocturne" held competitions. A competition of Christmas tree crafts and drawings was held. About 100 works were presented. From what material the Christmas trees were not made - from cedar cones, beads, sweets, feathers, paper, threads. It was very difficult to select the best. But the winners were identified, received diplomas and prizes.

Health camps are open in schools during the summer holidays. About 290 people visited this year. Various events have been prepared and held for them: "Call of the Jungle", "Sports", "We play, we read".

Aesthetic education

The main task of aesthetic education is to help children experience the joy of communicating with the beautiful, to promote spiritual development and moral development.

In February, all three schools announced the Week of Literary and Aesthetic Cycle.

1st day: Opening of the Week. Holding a literary lounge.

2nd day: Conducting literary quizzes with the identification of a connoisseur in each class.

3rd day: Competition of readers.

On the last day, each class showed an excerpt from their favorite work.

Painting teaches us to see and understand beauty, awakens the best human qualities. A book exhibition "Masterpieces of Russian Painting" was arranged in the reading room and a quiz game was held. The children were offered the following tasks: "Sign the picture", "Portrait of the writer"

“Amendment of Circumstances” / the picture has a second name - guess /, “Music of the Landscape”. The children actively participated in the quiz and learned a lot of interesting things about the artists and their paintings.

Another unforgettable musical = poetic lesson - a concert "Meeting with Music" was held with students in grades 1-4. Children involved in the music school took part. They performed their favorite pieces, answered the questions of the quiz "Define a musical instrument".

Ecology

"Take care of these lands, these waters,

Loving even a small bylinochka,

Take care of all the animals inside nature,

Kill only the beasts within you."

/E. Yevtushenko/

Every year, a cycle of events is held for environmental education of students - eco-lessons, competitive programs, we celebrate Bird Day and Earth Day, arrange various book exhibitions, the purpose of which is to foster a good attitude towards our environment. The library fund contains books about nature and ecology, which are freely available, some of the books are in the reading room.

We constantly make various crafts with the circle members - we made butterflies from plastic bottles, used scissors, gouache and a little imagination.

With junior schoolchildren, loud readings of excerpts from the book "The Adventures of the Baron the Cat" by Sh. Zulkarnaeva were held. The children were also offered other books about cats.

The environmental holiday "We are friends of nature" for students in grades 5-7 was very interesting and exciting. The main characters of the holiday were Baba Yaga, a hooligan and a presenter. Here they talked about the protection of nature, forests and trees. The event ended with N. Karavaeva's song "Earth is our common home".

Subbotniks, various actions contribute to children's perception of the beauty of the world around them.

The competition was held in two nominations: making crafts from junk material "Junk-Art" and making models of clothes from junk material "Long live trash!". 87 handicrafts made of cardboard, candy wrappers, corks were presented. How much fantasy children have - to make such beautiful things out of all kinds of garbage! The purpose of this event is to teach children how to use recycled materials, teach them various labor skills and abilities, introducing them to art.

During the spring break, we spent a playful - educational trip to the island "DaPrio". 2 teams participated in the game, the tasks were different - ecological burime - to add phrases or words, a quiz about the forest and its inhabitants, a task for captains. There was also a task for the fans - “Do you believe it or not?” . And the last task of the trip was to leave an entry in the book of rules of behavior in nature. The book consisted of two columns - what to do and what not to do to save nature.

Many readers enjoy working in the reading room. In order to write an essay in the reading room, literature on nature, animals and ecology is highlighted. The magazines "Young Naturalist", "Svirel", "Friend" are successfully used.

7. Reference and bibliographic activity

At the heart of the reference and bibliographic service is the active promotion of the book, which contributes to the emergence of a wide variety of interests. From year to year, the number of completed certificates is growing, this year 505 certificates were completed.   • education of continuity of generations and traditions;
  • fostering love for nature.

2. Development of the system of library information resources.

2.1.Formation of the document fund.

The library fund is 11362 copies, of which 9904 are books, 1458 are periodicals. The acquisition of the fund is carried out centrally through the acquisition department of the AUK MO WGO "Zavodoukovsky Library Center". This year the library received 343 books and 242 magazines.

In February, an act was drawn up to write off literature lost by readers and a list of publications received in return for it in the amount of 17 copies.

All receipts and disposals of books were recorded in the books of total and inventory records of the library fund.

In each quarter, librarians checked the correct placement of books in the open access fund.

During the year, the library staff repaired 82 books. In addition, old shabby books were selected from the open access fund, which were taken out to the utility room.

An important factor in the formation of a book fund that most fully satisfies the interests of users is a regular study of their reading preferences.

In order to identify reader interests and preferences, in April and May, a survey “I want to read this!” was conducted, in which 258 people took part. The main category of survey participants are adult users of the library. During the survey, all respondents were asked to write books on special cards that they would like to see in the library fund. The largest number of participants noted that they were quite satisfied with the library fund, the rest wrote books of a certain genre or author that they would like to read. The most popular authors were: A. Znamenskaya, V. Kolychev, A. Marinina, Yu. Shilova, I. Molchanova, T. Ustinova, and the most requested genres were detective and historical novel. Based on the results of the survey, a list was compiled, which was sent to the Acquisition Department in order to purchase these books for the library fund.

Based on the analysis of readers' forms, the journals that are least popular with library readers were identified, which made it possible to change the list of subscribed periodicals. So, for example, in the second half of the year, the library abandoned the magazines "Winter Cherry" and "Why and Why", replacing them with the magazines "This is life!" and "Playing with Barbie".

2.2. Creation of library web resources.

In 2013, the librarian for mass work Uraevskaya L.G. The site is intended for librarians and users who want to receive information about the activities of the library. It consists of several pages: "Main", "Scripts", "Exhibitions" and others, which contain the plans of the library, author's scripts, presentations, book exhibitions. The project is planned to create another page - "Our Album", which will display photos from events held by the library staff.

In the Novaya Zaimka group on the Odnoklassniki website, library employees regularly post information about ongoing events and promotions.

2.3. Creation of electronic databases.

The library maintains alphabetical and systematic catalogs, a systematic card index of articles and a card file of scripts. All of them are replenished and edited as new literature and periodicals arrive.

In addition, there is an electronic catalog in the IRBIS-64 program, which is replenished with records centrally through the procurement department. Access to the electronic catalog allows you to quickly respond to readers' requests, find the right book in the "ZBC" collections.

3. User service and development of library and information services.

3.1. Library services to the public.

During the year, the library served all categories of users. The largest percentage of library readers (50%) by age are adults, the second largest category is children (37%), the smallest category is youth (13%).

The most active readers of the library are children who take part in all public events, play board games, look at magazines in the reading room. Girls are more likely to pay attention to novelties, while they prefer entertaining literature and books “for the soul” about love, friendship, and relationships. From periodicals they are attracted by such as Romeo and Juliet, Marusya, Princess, Playing with Barbie. Boys are interested in adventures, scary stories, encyclopedias about animals, technology, the world around them. They are happy to read the magazines "Tom and Jerry", "Toshka and Company", "Smeshariki", and older guys pay attention to the magazines "Fisherman", "Moto", "Behind the wheel".

Working with this category of users is aimed at helping children in the process of education, personality formation, the development of creativity and imagination, the formation of an information culture, instilling a love for books and reading, fostering love for their homeland, its history, culture, traditions, nature.

The most successful activities for children were those in which game elements, multimedia technologies, and theatricalization were used. These are: a literary cruise, a presentation lesson, game programs, a slide show, a virtual tour, a literary game, a literary tournament, a literary walk, a slide journey, an oral magazine, an action.

As active as children, the category of users are adults. These are middle-aged and elderly people who enjoy reading fiction on various topics. These are historical novels, and novels about love, and the literature of modern Russian writers, detective stories, science fiction, socio-political literature. Among the periodicals, the magazines Vsyo dlya zhenschiny, Mystery zvezdy, Homestead farming, 1000 councils, Fisherman, and Okhota are in high demand.

The priority tasks in organizing work with adult users of the library are: assisting readers in the process of self-education, generating interest in the history, traditions of the country, creating conditions for entertaining and interesting leisure.

Readers of this age category attend mass events less often, motivating their unwillingness to participate in them by lack of time and household chores. Therefore, the events are attended mainly by the most active and regular readers.

The most effective events for adults are those that involve live communication and participation in games, competitions: Christmas meetings, gatherings, a holiday of good mood, a competitive program, an action, an evening of rest, an hour of questions and answers.

Particular attention is paid to readers with disabilities, the organization of work with which is aimed primarily at ensuring the availability, efficiency and comfort of obtaining information and socio-cultural rehabilitation. Library staff assist them in the selection of literature, conduct individual conversations in order to identify their interests and needs, and invite them to attend public events. Together with the specialists of the Comprehensive Center for Social Services for the Population, two events were held for the disabled, and the disabled also take part in the meetings of the Veteran club.

The most difficult category of users to service is youth. The heavy workload in the educational process, the passion for Internet resources does not allow representatives of this category to visit the library often. For the most part, they take books on the school curriculum, special literature to prepare for exams. When visiting the library, they prefer to look through periodicals: magazines "OOPS", "I'm 15", "Marusya", "Lisa GIRL", "Fisherman", "Hunting".

When organizing work with youth, librarians sought to satisfy as fully as possible requests on topics of interest to them, to assist in the educational process, to instill love for the motherland through public events, and to form civic activity.

The events with elements of conversation, reflection, discussion of the most significant facts from the history of Russia were interesting. These are: hours of information, action, literary and musical composition.

3.2. Organization of non-stationary services for library users.

In order to improve the quality and comfort of library services in 2013, the library organized the work of the following non-stationary lending points:

The name of the point of issue

Number (or frequency) of trips

In the village of Novozaimskaya, books are issued at the local club-library, whose employee changes books in the Novozaimskaya library once a month and serves all categories of users on working days of the club-library. Adult readers of this pickup point prefer books by contemporary authors, while children prefer fairy tales, adventures, the magazines Marusya, Toshka and Company.

Novozaimskaya secondary school has two distribution points: one for children of primary school age, who are given magazines and books with short texts to read at daily five-minute sessions, and the second for adults who read books by contemporary authors. Lending books for adult users is carried out by the school librarian in the premises of the school library.

Users discussed in the Novozaimskaya rural administration read mainly modern literature in the genres: detective story, love story, crime novel, etc., and also take the magazines "All for a Woman", "Secrets of the Stars", "Sandra".

3.3. User service using information and communication technologies.

To more effectively meet the needs of readers during the year, the library staff regularly used the resources of the Internet, with the help of which they selected materials for abstracts, projects, reports, created e-mail, sent e-mails.

3.4. Reference and bibliographic service.

During the reporting period, 77 bibliographic references were made, which is 27 references less than in the previous year. The reason for the decrease in the number of requests can be explained by the increase in computers with Internet access among the population. School students are the main category of users applying for information. For them, material is selected on history, technology, literature, as well as biographies of famous people. All completed bibliographic references are listed in the bibliographic reference book.

Since the beginning of the year, 4 information reviews have been conducted for all categories of users: "Post Stagecoach" - about new periodicals, "From a Dream to Choosing a Profession", representing literature on career guidance for youth, "Love for All Seasons", covering literature on family relationships , "The Land of My Fathers and Grandfathers" - about literature in the Tyumen region and the Zavodoukovsky urban district for children.

In order to form an information culture among children, 4 library lessons were held: a lesson-acquaintance with the library "Make friends with the library", "Birth of the alphabet", "What, what does our book consist of?".

A recommendatory list of literature for children “Wonders of Nature”, an information booklet for adults “Oh, Cossacks!”, an advertising booklet “The Library Invites” for all categories of readers, a memo “People don’t share like that!” for adults.

In 2013, 32 book exhibitions were organized, including 10 for calendar and significant dates: "Women who shook the world" (March 8), "Space Journey" (April 12), the exhibition-calendar "Milestones of the Great Patriotic War" ( May 9), “Love for All Seasons” (Day of Family, Love and Fidelity), “What are our years” (International Day of Older Persons) and others.

The book exhibition turned out to be interesting - the calendar "Milestones of the Great Patriotic War", representing fiction and journalistic literature about the war. In the center of the exhibition there was a calendar that counted the most significant events of the Second World War: the beginning of the war, the battle for Moscow, the Battle of Stalingrad, etc., and the headings were designed in the form of large medals. The unusual design of the exhibition immediately attracted the attention of readers, they approached the exhibition, looked at the calendar, got acquainted with the books.

The book exhibition - the mood "Autumn Blush - September", dedicated to autumn, became bright and memorable. The exhibition consisted of two sections: "Summer under an umbrella", which housed books for children about this season, and "Autumn's beautiful gifts", which housed literature on how to store the harvest for adults. The shelves of the exhibition were decorated with leaves and models of vegetables and fruits. The highlight of the exhibition was an umbrella, opened and placed by the rack with its handle up. The umbrella was full of multi-colored leaves, through which children's books with autumn poems and riddles looked through. Readers, especially children, rustled leaves in an umbrella with pleasure, found and pulled out books.

For young people, a book exhibition has been organized - a review of the "Bitter Chronicle", presenting books about Stalin's repressions. All books in the exhibition were provided with annotations printed on white and purple cards, after reading which users received an overview, an idea of the content of the books.

The children really liked the book exhibition - the puzzle "Intellectual Shake", which featured magazines with riddles, crosswords, and puzzles. Even the title of the exhibition was not so easy to read. It consisted of letters strung on a string stretched across the shelves. The letters, like after a real shake, were uneven, and you had to step back to read them. But real smart people easily coped with this task and took on the next one. In order to start using the exhibition, readers had to solve a puzzle by selecting it from the literature presented.

The greatest attention of users was attracted by those exhibitions that were bright, unusually designed (exhibition-mood, exhibition-calendar, exhibition-opening day), as well as those that required the active participation of readers (exhibition-excursion, exhibition-puzzle).

4.5. Hosting an event.

During the year, 60 public events were prepared and held, 46 of them for children.

Within the framework of the main activity of the library, the following events were held: a lesson-presentation "Hands - work, soul - a holiday", a lesson in military glory dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad "And let generations remember", a virtual tour "I love you, my native land" , educational game program "Russian heroes", conversation-dialogue "Me and my family", literary and musical composition "Your name is Russia", hour of information "Russian flag", hour of history "Feat in Russian" for children, hour of information “You, me, he, she are future voters”, literary and musical composition “On the Roads of Memory”, information hour “Symbols of Russian Statehood” for youth, “Christmas meetings “Christmas Russia”, action “We Remember Afghanistan”, gatherings "Like Shrove Week", oral magazine "Their names in street names" for adults.

The purpose of these events was, first of all, instilling love for the motherland, acquaintance with the history, traditions of the Russian people, state symbols.

One of the memorable events was the action "We remember Afghanistan", the purpose of which was to attract the attention of readers to the Day of Remembrance of the Internationalist Warriors. During the action, bookmarks with poems dedicated to the war in Afghanistan were handed to all readers, and books on this topic were also offered.

The lesson-presentation “Hands - work, soul - holiday” was fascinating, the purpose of which was to expand the circle of knowledge about Russian folk crafts, including Tyumen home painting. Against the background of an electronic presentation, Marya Iskusnitsa spoke about the features of the Dymkovo, Filimonovo toys, the beauty of the house painting in our region. The children especially liked the tasks that Marya the Artificer offered them to complete. The children enthusiastically painted figurines of horses with Dymkovo patterns and arranged the mixed elements of patterns characteristic of various crafts into groups.

Within the framework of the Year of Ecology, in order to foster love for the native nature, the formation of a careful attitude towards it, the following were held: a slide show dedicated to the life and work of M.M. Prishvin “I write about nature”, a literary tour of the works of V. Bianchi “Forest of Wonders” , the action "STOP", the book exhibition "Nature of the Russian Pure Soul" was arranged, the list of references "Wonders of Nature" was prepared.

The most significant event was the action "STOP", the purpose of which was to draw attention to the problems of environmental pollution, the protection of flora and fauna. During the week, children were given the opportunity to say “STOP” to one of the problems of environmental pollution, the protection of flora and fauna. To do this, the participant of the action circled his palm on a piece of paper and wrote an appeal on it, for example, “STOP hunting animals”, after which he cut out his palm and attached it to a special stand. The guys reacted very responsibly to the action, they carefully considered their call, explained why this particular environmental problem worries them the most. Thus, calls were made on the stand not to pollute the banks of the Uk River, not to kill Ussuri tigers, not to break glass bottles on the streets of the village. In addition, each participant tried to make his palm as interesting as possible: someone drew rings and bracelets, someone applied a manicure, and some depicted funny faces. The fact that the action was a success is also evidenced by the fact that although it was intended primarily for children and youth, several adult readers of the library also took part in it.

In order to increase the prestige of books and reading, to form a positive attitude towards reading and the library, various events were prepared and held throughout the year for all categories of users.

In January, the quiz "Intellectual Christmas tree" was held, the purpose of which was to attract new users to the library and increase reader activity. During the event, participants were offered to re-register or sign up for the library, but only after they answered one of the quiz questions, which were located near the elegant New Year tree. Moreover, a surprise awaited all the participants: on each question a number was written corresponding to the ticket number in the lottery. The most adventurous participants were happy to try their luck, trying to choose a question with a winning number in order to receive a small gift. The event was a success, because it resulted in a high attendance of the library.

In order to draw attention to the library, a festive action "Quiet home of the soul - a library!", Timed to coincide with the All-Russian Day of Libraries, was held. For this action, postcards with a poem dedicated to the libraries were printed and given to all users who visited the library. Readers enthusiastically responded to the action: they congratulated the workers on their professional holiday, expressed their opinions about the activities of the library.

During the children's book week there was a book exhibition - an excursion "In the Land of Interesting Books". The librarian-guide suggested that the children go for a walk in the country of books, during which the participants visited the City of Connoisseurs, Protected Places, Pathfinder Academy, Adventure Cave and Fairytale Village. In order to get to each of these places, the children had to complete the task. For example, in the Adventure Cave, participants answered questions from a pirate chest, and in the City of Experts, they answered questions from the Learned Owl. Moreover, answers to questions could be found by referring to the books placed at the exhibition. The children participated in the excursion with pleasure, and then they brought their friends to see how they would cope with the tasks in turn.

During the summer holidays, a book exhibition "Summer Readings - Interesting Journeys and Adventures" was arranged for children, which presented the whole variety of children's literature. The guys were invited to go on a trip by a blue train with unusual trailers, located on the bottom shelf of the exhibition rack. The trailers were made in the form of envelopes, which contained riddles, quizzes, crossword puzzles and rebuses. Throughout the summer, the children actively worked with the exhibition, completing the tasks of a merry train. Moreover, the participation of librarians was minimal, since the children themselves came up and pulled out assignments from the envelopes, it was only necessary to replace them with new ones in time.

In order to advertise the library in August, advertising booklets “The Library invites” were issued for all categories of users, which were distributed to residents on the Day of the Village. Every quarter, announcements about the services provided by the library were distributed throughout the village.

As a result of the activities carried out, new readers came to the library, the level of attendance and the quality of reading of library users increased.

During the summer, the House of Culture and the library operated a summer playground “School of Magicians “Jagvards”, which was attended by 45 children. 6 public events were held for them: the theatrical game program "Welcome to Yagvards", the game program "Magic Box of Grandmother Yaga", the game program "Abracadabra", sports relay races "Flying on the broom" Yambus-2013 ", the competition program "Fairytale Day ”, a theatrical game program “The exam is not written for Yagi”. For the duration of the summer playground, the children became students of the school of wizards and studied various magical disciplines every day. The game program "Abracadabra" was dedicated to various magical spells, during which the children studied the most famous spells from fairy tales, and then put them into practice. So, for example, using the word "mutabor" from the fairy tale "Caliph the Stork", the members of one team turned into different animals, which the players of the opposing team had to guess.

The most interesting were the events that involved creative tasks: turning into fairy-tale characters, showing a fairy tale, creating magical objects with your own hands. In addition to participating in activities, the children enjoyed playing outdoor games in the street and gathered in the library to read books and magazines.

During the year, two interest clubs functioned in the library: the Chitaika club and the Veteran club.

Club "Chitayka" is intended for children of primary school age. The purpose of the club: instilling a love of reading, familiarization with the world of children's classical literature. All activities of the club are included in the program to increase the prestige of books and reading "Non-boring Literature".

A whole block of interesting events has been prepared and held for club members, acquainting young readers with books by wonderful children's writers. These are: a literary cruise on the fairy tales of Ch. Perro "Tales for all times", a slide show dedicated to the life and work of M. M. Prishvin "I write about nature", a literary game based on the books of S. V. Mikhalkov "Merry Friends", a literary walk through the fairy tales of A.S. Pushkin "On the paths of the Lukomorye", a literary tour of the works of V. Bianchi "Forest of Miracles", a literary hour on the work of B. Zakhoder "My Imagination", an oral magazine dedicated to the work of K. Chukovsky "Chukokkola" , a quiz based on the works of N. Nosov "Resourceful dreamer", a literary lounge dedicated to the life and work of V.Yu. Dragunsky "The writer is generous and joyful."

In order to make the events more entertaining, the children were offered to read the works of the writer to whom the next meeting would be dedicated. During the events, the participants not only got acquainted with the biography of the children's writer, but also brilliantly coped with all the game tasks based on his books.

The Veteran Club is intended for the elderly, its main goal is to provide the elderly with interesting and entertaining leisure time, to make sure that when they come to the next meeting at the club, they not only relax and talk to each other, but also learn something new for myself.

Most of the events held at the Veteran Club are timed to coincide with calendar and significant dates. Christmas meetings "Christmas Rus'" and gatherings "Like at butter week" invited the participants to join these wonderful holidays and remember the traditions associated with them; the oral magazine "Their Names in Street Names" was dedicated to May 9 and talked about the heroes of the Second World War, whose names went down in history and became street names; the evening of rest “Great Time for Age”, dedicated to the International Day of the Elderly, and the evening of rest “Miracles for the New Year” allowed the participants to plunge into the atmosphere of the holiday and show all their talents in various competitions and games; the reflection-talk “The Happiness of Being a Mother” provided an opportunity to reflect on the role of a mother in the life of every person.

All events necessarily included gaming, creative elements (competitions, competitions, singing songs, ditties, etc.), and the club members were active and inquisitive, so the meetings in the club were fun and interesting.

Events in the club "Veteran" were held jointly with the employees of the Novozaimsky Palace of Culture, which made them more vivid and exciting.

For the successful implementation of the goals and objectives, the library in 2013 interacted with the kindergarten "Rodnichok", Novozaimskaya secondary school, for which mass events dedicated to reading and books were prepared and held, as well as with the Comprehensive Center for Social Services for the Population, the result of interaction with which was the holding of 2 events for the disabled.

In addition, the library worked in close cooperation with the employees of the Novozaimsky Palace of Culture, together with whom major events were held on Children's Day, June 22, Knowledge Day, New Year, and the work of the summer playground was organized

4. Development of the material and technical base of the library.

The library premises are located in the building of the Novozaimsky Palace of Culture on a lease basis and consists of two rooms: a common room (a subscription, a reading room for 8 seats, a PKDI class for 3 seats) and a utility room.

The library has 22 double-sided, 10 single-sided book and 5 exhibition racks, a lectern, a box for forms, 7 office chairs, 6 computer tables, 4 computers, a printer.

To improve the work of the library, it is necessary to purchase a projector, a color printer, small bookcases for a children's corner, a vacuum cleaner, a telephone, an 8 GB flash card.

5. Participation and work in projects, competitions.

This year, the library has developed and implemented a program to increase the prestige of books and reading "Non-boring Literature".

Program goals:

1. Increasing the prestige of books, reading and the level of reading activity of children.

2. Formation of the information culture of children.

Program objectives:

1. Instill in children a love of books and libraries.

2. To instill in children a culture of reading, to instill the need for systematic reading.

3. Teach children to navigate in the library space.

4. To form children's skills in working with a book.

As part of the program, 22 events were developed and held, including book exhibitions and library lessons. The program was based on events dedicated to the life and work of children's writers (V. Bianchi, M. Prishvin, S. Mikhalkov, N. Nosov, K. Chukovsky and others).

An important key to the success of the program is the use of theatrical elements, computer presentations, games, competitions in events. So the literary hour based on B. Zakhoder's books "My Imaginations" was accompanied by a computer presentation, which not only illustrated the writer's work, but also included games based on his works. And for a literary walk through the tales of A.S. Pushkin "On the paths of the Lukomorye", the guys went along with the Old Man and the Old Woman, who introduced them to the biography of the poet, and then checked how well they know his tales with the help of various games and competitions.

The result of the activities of this program was the formation in children of the need for reading, communication with the book, the expansion of the literary horizon.

The profession of a librarian requires constant improvement, the ability to quickly assimilate what is new that appears in a rapidly changing world. Therefore, in order to improve their skills, the library staff participated in various seminars and competitions throughout the year:
