Lace belt for a crochet dress. Crochet belt: diagram and description of dense products from rings and ribbon lace

A crochet belt is a knitted accessory that many knitters prefer to make. When crocheting, you can use different knitting techniques. And this allows you to create models for various purposes: to decorate a wardrobe or replace a regular belt. It is necessary to decide on the purpose of the future product to select the size of the hook with which the belt will be crocheted, as well as the type of yarn. The thinner the size of the hook, the more delicate and decorative the accessory will turn out. With large hooks, you can usually tie a belt using beads and other additional elements that will decorate it in the knitting process. Of course, you can use additional elements to decorate the belt during knitting when working with a smaller crochet, but this is very, very painstaking work. It is within the power of experienced craftswomen. For the belt, they often use different techniques for knitting laces, fragments. The latter - fragments are interconnected in a long strip.

Type of yarn to choose for making a belt

So for example, in order to knit narrow belts-cords or openwork belts for work, you can choose any yarn. Such belts have a decorative value and are used as decoration for a wide tunic or dress. Naturally, when choosing yarn for this purpose, the color and texture of the yarn should be taken into account. It is necessary to ensure that these parameters correspond to the color and texture of the wardrobe elements. Suitable for all types of thread: cotton, linen, viscose, wool, polyamide, microfiber and even acrylic. When using acrylic yarns, you should be more careful when choosing a pattern, since products made from such yarn often have a cheap look.

Wide and dense belts are knitted from stiff cotton or linen yarn. More often, such belts are knitted using solid patterns. If the work is done with polyamide yarn or microfiber , then the pattern is chosen very dense. For knitting dense crochet patterns, ordinary columns without nakida.

narrow belt

In the photo abovea consistent description of the manufacture of the simplest belt is given. To knit such an accessory, you need about ten grams of yarn. The threads must be thick, with at least two hundred meters per hundred grams of yarn in one skein. Even a beginner knitter can knit such a belt. Knitting begins with a chain of four air loops. We will abbreviate the air loops as "VP".

The sequence of knitting a pattern for a belt:

  1. In the second loop of the chain we knit five columns without nakida (pictured above ). Next column without yarn over will be written as Stbn »
  2. In the last loop of the chain we knit one column without yarn over
  3. We turn the canvas. One VP for lifting a row
  4. In the second column without yarn over knit five columns without yarn over
  5. In the third StBN we knit another StBN
  6. Again we turn the fabric and repeat knitting in the same way as indicated in paragraphs 4 and 5, each time turning the fabric.

We knit a cord of the required length. Ties are sewn to the ends of the cord. As ties, you can use ordinary threads, a chain of air loops, or you can use a decorative ribbon. The crochet narrow belt is ready!

Openwork belt from motifs of various shapes

This belt model has been popular for a long period of time. The essence of the manufacture of this model is the connection of several separately connected identical or different fragments to each other into a tape. Such fragments can be square or round. Each craftswoman has her favorite forms-fragments.

The sequence of knitting a pattern for a belt knitted from various fragments:

If the model is planned to be worn on the hips, then it should be knitted from pentagonal motifs. Moreover, they should be connected to each other in such an order that the product turns out to be a semicircular shape.

Greetings! It happens that you need to crochet a simple belt for a dress or skirt. In such cases, this post may be useful for beginners))

The belt knits simply and quickly. Easy to measure and easy to decorate. If you like it, I'll be glad.

For this description, I specially photographed against a bright background.

In general, the belt got in touch when I was picking up something suitable with a peplum and a tight skirt. I had to try a dozen different options - factory-made ribbons and straps, knitted and woven belts. In the end, I decided to knit a simple ribbon-belt from "fans".

We knit a belt

Dimensions: belt 48 x 3 cm, + length of laces 17.5 cm.

Legend:

P (loop),

VP (air loop),

SP (connecting p),

RLS (single crochet),

PSSN (half double crochet) - double crochet, insert the hook into the loop, pull out the thread and knit all three threads on the hook together.

Loin mesh (* 2 P SSN, 2 VP *, skip 2 loops of the previous row, repeat * *).

"Fan" - 5 CCH in one "arch"

What I needed:

  • pekhorka yarn "Successful", 50gr/220m, white;
  • hook number 1.75;
  • buttons with a diameter of 1 cm - in the amount of 8 pieces;
  • sewing needle and white thread for sewing on buttons.

You can pick up other threads / hooks for them and decorate the belt to your taste.

I used mother-of-pearl plastic flower buttons for decoration. Sold in a set of 20 pieces. They are flat in shape, i.e. holes for sewing are located not like on buttons - in the center or on one of the sides, but along the side walls. It is very handy for sewing. Yes, and they lie better, more tightly adjacent to the product.

Brief instructions for calculating the size of the belt

The belt consists of the main - wide part adjacent to the product. And a narrow lace that regulates the volume (length of the circumference).

This means that the set of loops is intended for the wide part of the belt. Therefore, it is necessary to dial so that the ends of the belt do not converge "butt". Otherwise, you will have to tie it not with laces, but with the belt itself (an unsightly thick knot will appear). For a lace at the end of knitting, “airs” are separately obtained (that is, they are not included in the typesetting row).

We calculate like this:

1 If it is possible to try on, pick up a chain from the VP and attach it to the waist / hips (where you plan to wear the belt) with the expectation that the belt is 10 centimeters shorter in size.

2 When knitting to the finished skirt / dress, subtract 10-15 loops from their total number in the product. Let's say I had 132 loops on the shelf in my dress. Therefore, I scored 10 loops less, now the belt pulls the dress together and is tied with laces.

Description of knitting a belt

I scored a "chain" of 122 VPs. I knit in a spiral.

1 p: VP, 122 P SSN = 122 p. (we do not include the air loop in the bill)

2 p: VP, “sirloin net” to the end of the row. Continued on the opposite side of the belt symmetrically. On each side, 30 arches were obtained (60 in total).

I unfold knitting, i.e. I knit in the opposite direction.

3 p: VP, SP into the jumper between two P SSN before. row, 1 "fan" in the arch of 2 VP previous. R*.

She continued around. I finished with 2 joint ventures in the side loops, I don’t cut the thread.

Laces

I scored from the edge where I finished knitting the belt, a “chain” of 50 VPs. I knit in the opposite direction (i.e. towards the girdle): VP, 50 PSSN. The ends of the thread were fastened and cut off.

I tied a thread from the other end of the girdle and repeated in the same way. The ends of the laces themselves begin to twist slightly "lamb"))

I reprimanded 8 “fans” from the edge, sewed flower buttons every two “shell fans”. On the opposite side, the same number of free fans remained.

I needed a plain belt. Although, of course, it looks even better from bright yarn. Having a ready-made description at hand makes it easier to experiment and create. For what, in fact, it is prepared.

I wish you light eyelets and cheerful mood!

Sincerely, Saule Vagapova

Crochet a belt, a step-by-step selection of diagrams and a description of the work to which is attached, will turn out very quickly. We suggest crocheting the belt with columns of different heights. You can decorate the belt with flowers made of striped fabric in two colors to match the stripes on the knitted belt.

We knit a stylish crochet belt: diagram and description of work

In order to tie the belt, you will need the following materials:

  • Cotton yarn in dark blue, red and white (50 g each);
  • Hook #3;
  • Fabric in red and blue stripes (size for each strip is 65 by 65 cm);
  • Safety pins - 2 pcs.

The pattern of this knitting option is carried out according to the principle described below.

First, double crochets are made: in the first row, the double crochet is knitted into the air loop of the gachal chain: one double crochet into the fourth air loop from the hook, in subsequent rows, the first double crochet must be replaced with three lifting air loops.

The diagram shows the knitting of motifs A and B.

Motive A: after the yarn is made, we introduce the hook by moving away from ourselves between the double crochets of the previous row and grab the leg of the left double crochet from behind, bring it out towards us, grab the working thread and stretch it behind the leg of the column, then we stretch the column with double crochet.

Motive B: we make a crochet, we insert the hook towards ourselves and grab the leg of the double crochet in front, bring it out in front of it with a movement away from us, then we grab the working thread and stretch it in front of the leg of the column, we perform a double crochet.

Let's make decorative flowers. From a striped fabric, it is necessary to cut out two oblique inlays 80 cm long and 12 cm wide. Each must be folded in half inside out and along open sections. With the help of a machine we make easy assembly. Excess fabric along the line must be cut off. On the side that is sprung, it is necessary to tightly twist and sew.

We cut out two circles of 0.5 cm, tuck the slices. Sew decorative pins to the flowers.

Such a belt will be a great addition to skirts, jeans, it can be worn on a dress.

Let's try to crochet another version of the belt from the tied rings

Another very interesting option is to create a belt from tied rings.

For work you will need:

  • Yarn - 100g;
  • Plastic rings for tying;
  • Hook - No. 2.

Let's get to work. We will tie half of the ring with a single crochet, then we will knit a chain of 20 air loops as shown in the photo.

We will also tie half of the next ring and again we will tie a chain of air loops. Thus, we will connect the rings to the required length of the belt. We tie the very last ring in its entirety, then we knit a chain of 19 single crochets with air loops. It turns out that such a blank is made of rings tied together.

Along the edges of the belt, you can attach 4 chains made of 100 air loops, you need it for tying. The end of each chain must be secured with a knot. So the crocheted belt with tied rings is ready.

This belt is perfect for knitted or knitted things.

A belt is a very relevant accessory always and everywhere, it is a stylish decoration of things and it is simply impossible to imagine your wardrobe without belts.

At the end of the master class, we offer several interesting videos that present interesting ideas for crocheting belts with a detailed description. Try to create new and interesting things with your own hands, which will certainly delight you with their appearance.

Video on the topic of the article

Knitting belts is one of the most popular activities among crocheting craftswomen. The use of various techniques allows you to create rigid and dense accessories with a long service life.

This article offers interesting ones with diagrams and descriptions, some of them perform an exclusively decorative function, others can successfully replace a regular belt.

What yarn is suitable for making a belt

When choosing a material, one should be guided by the purpose of the future product. Below you can see different photos and even a master class. At the same time, the appearance and scope of each of these items are completely different.

Narrow lace belts, as well as openwork belts, are often used to decorate wide tunics or dresses. For these products, you can safely use absolutely any yarn. The main thing is that in color and texture it matches the rest of the wardrobe.

Various types of cotton, linen, viscose, wool, microfiber, polyamide and even acrylic will be appropriate here. True, you should be more careful with acrylic, since many products made from this material look frankly cheap.

To make a wide and dense crocheted belt, the scheme and description of which include some kind of solid pattern, you will need a hard cotton or sometimes a decent appearance can be achieved using polyamide or microfiber, but in this case the knitting must be very dense.

Narrow crochet belt: diagram and description

The photo below shows the sequence of making the simplest belt. You will need a little material, about 10 grams. The thread should be quite thick, at least 200 m / 100 grams.

Even with minimal knitting skills, you can crochet such a belt. The scheme and description of the product are extremely simple:

  1. Knit a chain of four air loops (VP).
  2. In the second loop, knit 5 single crochet (StBN).
  3. In the last loop, work 1 stbn.
  4. Turn the fabric and knit one lifting loop.
  5. In the second stbn, knit 5 stbn, then in the 3rd stbn perform another stbn.
  6. Turn the work and repeat the sequence described in the 4th and 5th points.

The cord of the desired length is supplied with ties - and that's it, the product is ready! In fact, this is the most primitive and elementary. All other patterns are designed on the same principle, but contain a much larger number of rows.

Ties can be just threads, chains of stitches, or even decorative ribbons. To make them heavier, it is recommended to sew beads on the ends.

Openwork belt from and description

This model has been consistently popular for a very long time. For its manufacture, several identical or different fragments are knitted, which are then connected into a ribbon.

Surely every knitter has a favorite round or square piece that she can literally do with her eyes closed, it is quite suitable for such a product as a crochet belt. The scheme and description of one of the motives are presented below.

First you need to tie a chain of 6 VPs and close it into a ring, then follow these steps:

  1. 4 VP, lush column of 3 double crochets (StN), 5 VP, * lush column of 4 StN, 5 VP *. Repeat from * to * until the end of the row.
  2. * 5 VP, 3 StN with a common top, pico of 3 VP, 3 StN with a common top, 5 VP, StBN *. Repeat from * to * until the end of the row.

The resulting flower has six vertices, which is very convenient for making an even belt (two vertices on each side are connected to the second flower, two remain on top and bottom). Such belts are needed to emphasize the waist.

A good example of a simple flower. Knitted from the very he will be a great decoration for many dresses.

If the product is planned to be worn on the hips, then it is advisable to choose pentagonal motifs.

They need to be connected so that the belt gets a semicircular shape.

Tight belt for jeans

The next variety of knitted belts is designed to perform a practical function: they are tucked into the loops of trousers and skirts.

Of course, the canvas of such products must be very rigid, otherwise it will stretch and there will be no point in it. As mentioned above, cotton, linen, polyamide and wool can be considered optimal.

The thickness of the thread is at least 180-200 m / 100 grams, the knitting is very tight. To achieve sufficient density, you can use a smaller hook than the one recommended for the selected yarn (for example, not No. 4.5, but No. 3).

Secrets of tight knitting

The pattern can be simple single crochets or the most elementary ornaments. If the selected thread is not stiff enough, you can apply the following technique:

  1. Knit a row of stbn.
  2. Turn the fabric and work another row, tying the newly formed StBN. That is, each of them will be double.
  3. Repeat the algorithm described in paragraphs 1 and 2.

This method is also good for cap peaks, hat brim and stand-up collars.
