Paint and henna should be stored closed, away from heat, light, and humidity. This will preserve their coloring properties.

How to prepare eyebrows for painting?

Firstly, do a gentle peeling of the facial skin (and at the same time the eyebrow growth line). It is advisable to do this the day before staining. This way you will exfoliate everything unnecessary, and the skin will restore its natural moisture and protection. Then the coloring will be more even and of higher quality.

Secondly, shape your eyebrows. This can be done in advance or just before applying the paint. Before and after plucking, treat the skin with a tonic or micellar composition. Girls with dark eyebrows should shape their eyebrows before coloring, but for fair-haired girls it’s better to postpone plucking until the end of coloring, when you can decide how much natural shape eyebrows is beneficial and then correct it.

“Try on” the eyebrow shape you want to get. If in doubt, a pencil will help: barely notice the contours and evaluate the result. You can take special stencils that allow you to draw perfectly straight eyebrows. Such templates are also convenient because the paint will not get on the skin nearby and ruin the shape.

Eyebrow tinting procedure

Now let’s check our makeup bag and look for the following items:

brush/brush for painting (for example, a small brush with an oblique edge);
cotton swabs (in as a last resort– cotton pads, tampons) for correction;
fatty face cream, cosmetic oil (from budget options– baby cream or oil);
prepared paint (dilute according to instructions);
makeup remover (milk, lotion, oil, micellar) – used for correction;
towel for the first wash (take a dark one).

Tuck your hair away so it doesn't fall in your face. If desired, you can use gloves and a cape to avoid getting your hands and clothes dirty.

Remove eyebrow makeup, wipe the eyebrow line with lotion or micellar water to cleanse and degrease the skin. Gently lubricate the skin around the eyebrows, where there should be no paint, with cream or oil.

Prepare the mixture according to the instructions (usually 10-15 ml of oxidizing agent and 5-10 g of coloring paste). If you squeeze the dye out of the tube, you will get about 2 cm, carefully stir in the container until the sour cream thickens, so that the mass becomes homogeneous and without lumps.

Apply the dye to the hairs themselves, avoiding contact with the skin. If the paint gets missed, make corrections immediately after application: cotton swab, soaked in the product, wipe off the excess.

We soak the composition according to the instructions (10-20 minutes), and then remove the remaining paint as the manufacturer says (usually with warm running water, sometimes with cotton wool soaked in oil). If unnecessary hairs are colored, they can be removed with tweezers.

Be careful and attentive: paint that gets into your eyes should be washed off immediately with water until discomfort will not pass. If symptoms do not stop, consult a doctor.

After the procedure

The dye on the eyebrows does not last long - no more than a month. Gradually the color fades and is washed out. To prolong the rich color of your eyebrows, you can use not only the right cosmetic oils, but also take washing seriously.

On the first day, do not wash your eyebrows and skin nearby with cleansers. It's better not to wet it at all.
Next, we avoid cleansing gels in the eyebrow area for two or three days.
Then you can wash your face using soft foams for washing without peelings and scrubs, try not to catch the eyebrow areas.
But for rich color and good hair structure you can use oil masks for eyebrows.

It is better to re-stain after a month. And remember that any eyebrow dye is still a chemical, so give your eyebrows a break from dyeing so that the hairs don’t thin out and you don’t have to resort to radical methods.
