Implementation of artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence - we live in an era of new technologies

Companies' distrust of artificial intelligence (AI) is a thing of the past, according to Microsoft's global survey. Almost all interviewed executives already today consider it important for solving the strategic tasks of their organizations. In confirmation of this, 27% have already implemented AI in key business processes and services, and another 46% are preparing pilot projects based on it.

Microsoft presented the results of the global study "Intelligent Economies: AI's Transformation of Industries and Society"[i], which aimed to identify business attitudes towards AI technology.

According to the survey results, despite existing biases, 94% of executives believe that these technologies are important for achieving the strategic objectives of their organizations, with 37% characterizing them as "very important". Top managers are confident that AI will improve many areas of their business in the coming years. In particular, it will help with the implementation of innovations (89%), attracting and retaining talented employees (85%), as well as product development (84%). Moreover, 27% of the surveyed organizations have already implemented these technologies in key business processes and services, and another 46% are preparing pilot projects using them. Also, 59% of executives believe that thanks to AI, the salary of employees will increase, and 56% associate with it an increase in the level of employment in their country or industry.

Companies most frequently use AI for predictive analytics, real-time operations management, customer service and risk management. The most popular use case, however, varies by industry, with retail respondents more likely to report customer service (31% vs. 21% across industries) and the financial sector more likely to report fraud detection (25% vs. 16%).

Respondents are confident in the positive impact of AI not only on the development of their business, but also on the economy as a whole over the next 5 years. Thus, in their opinion, it will contribute to economic development (90%), increased productivity (86%) and innovation (84%), as well as job creation (69%) in their country and industry.

In evaluating the success of implementations, the most common criterion for managers is the quality of the solution (36%). This is followed by return on investment (ROI, 32%) and customer satisfaction (31%). 14% of companies admit that they do not yet have established metrics to measure the success of a deployed solution.

The main deterrents in implementing such technologies are financial risks (42%), difficulties in deployment if the organization does not have the necessary resources (36%), and difficulties associated with training employees (35%). However, companies are taking concrete steps to address these issues: 76% said they were prepared for the risks associated with AI, and 71% said they had already developed policies and rules for its implementation and control.

Microsoft's research proves once again that leaders play a critical role in the digital transformation of every company, who must take responsibility for promoting the use of new technologies and training employees. The implementation of such solutions should be carried out systematically and be a priority strategic task for the entire organization.

[i] More than 400 senior executives from 8 countries participated in the study: France, Germany, Mexico, Poland, South Africa, Thailand, the UK and the USA. Their companies' businesses included financial services, healthcare and life sciences, manufacturing, retail and the public sector.

The concept of artificial intelligence (AI or AI) includes not only technologies that allow you to create intelligent machines (including computer programs). AI is also one of the areas of scientific thought.

Artificial Intelligence - Definition

Intelligence- this is the mental component of a person, which has the following abilities:

  • adaptive;
  • learning through the accumulation of experience and knowledge;
  • the ability to apply knowledge and skills to manage the environment.

The intellect combines all the abilities of a person to cognize reality. With the help of it, a person thinks, remembers new information, perceives the environment, and so on.

Artificial intelligence is understood as one of the areas of information technology, which is engaged in the study and development of systems (machines) endowed with the capabilities of human intelligence: the ability to learn, logical reasoning, and so on.

At the moment, work on artificial intelligence is carried out by creating new programs and algorithms that solve problems in the same way as a person does.

Due to the fact that the definition of AI evolves as this direction develops, it is necessary to mention the AI Effect. It refers to the effect that artificial intelligence creates when it has made some progress. For example, if AI has learned to perform any actions, then critics immediately join in, arguing that these successes do not indicate the presence of thinking in the machine.

Today, the development of artificial intelligence goes in two independent directions:

  • neurocybernetics;
  • logical approach.

The first direction involves the study of neural networks and evolutionary computing from the point of view of biology. The logical approach involves the development of systems that mimic high-level intellectual processes: thinking, speech, and so on.

The first work in the field of AI began to be conducted in the middle of the last century. The pioneer of research in this direction was Alan Turing, although certain ideas began to be expressed by philosophers and mathematicians in the Middle Ages. In particular, as early as the beginning of the 20th century, a mechanical device capable of solving chess problems was introduced.

But in reality this direction was formed by the middle of the last century. The appearance of works on AI was preceded by research on human nature, ways of understanding the world around us, the possibilities of the thought process, and other areas. By that time, the first computers and algorithms had appeared. That is, the foundation was created on which a new direction of research was born.

In 1950, Alan Turing published an article in which he asked questions about the capabilities of future machines, as well as whether they could surpass humans in terms of sentience. It was this scientist who developed the procedure that was later named after him: the Turing test.

After the publication of the works of the English scientist, new research in the field of AI appeared. According to Turing, only a machine that cannot be distinguished from a person during communication can be recognized as a thinking machine. Around the same time that the role of a scientist appeared, a concept was born, called the Baby Machine. It envisaged the progressive development of AI and the creation of machines whose thought processes are first formed at the level of a child, and then gradually improve.

The term "artificial intelligence" was born later. In 1952, a group of scientists, including Turing, met at the American University of Dartmund to discuss issues related to AI. After that meeting, the active development of machines with the capabilities of artificial intelligence began.

A special role in the creation of new technologies in the field of AI was played by the military departments, which actively funded this area of research. Subsequently, work in the field of artificial intelligence began to attract large companies.

Modern life poses more complex challenges for researchers. Therefore, the development of AI is carried out in fundamentally different conditions, if we compare them with what happened during the period of the emergence of artificial intelligence. The processes of globalization, the actions of malefactors in the digital sphere, the development of the Internet and other problems - all this poses complex tasks for scientists, the solution of which lies in the field of AI.

Despite the successes achieved in this area in recent years (for example, the emergence of autonomous technology), the voices of skeptics still do not subside, who do not believe in the creation of a truly artificial intelligence, and not a very capable program. A number of critics fear that the active development of AI will soon lead to a situation where machines will completely replace people.

Research directions

Philosophers have not yet come to a consensus about what is the nature of the human intellect, and what is its status. In this regard, in scientific works devoted to AI, there are many ideas that tell what tasks artificial intelligence solves. There is also no common understanding of the question of what kind of machine can be considered intelligent.

Today, the development of artificial intelligence technologies goes in two directions:

  1. Descending (semiotic). It involves the development of new systems and knowledge bases that imitate high-level mental processes such as speech, expression of emotions and thinking.
  2. Ascending (biological). This approach involves research in the field of neural networks, through which models of intellectual behavior are created from the point of view of biological processes. Based on this direction, neurocomputers are being created.

Determines the ability of artificial intelligence (machine) to think in the same way as a person. In a general sense, this approach involves the creation of AI, the behavior of which does not differ from human actions in the same, normal situations. In fact, the Turing test assumes that a machine will be intelligent only if, when communicating with it, it is impossible to understand who is talking: a mechanism or a living person.

Science fiction books offer a different way of assessing the capabilities of AI. Artificial intelligence will become real if it feels and can create. However, this approach to definition does not hold up in practice. Already, for example, machines are being created that have the ability to respond to changes in the environment (cold, heat, and so on). At the same time, they cannot feel the way a person does.

Symbolic approach

Success in solving problems is largely determined by the ability to flexibly approach the situation. Machines, unlike people, interpret the data they receive in a unified way. Therefore, only a person takes part in solving problems. The machine performs operations based on written algorithms that exclude the use of several abstraction models. To achieve flexibility from programs is possible by increasing the resources involved in the course of solving problems.

The above disadvantages are typical for the symbolic approach used in the development of AI. However, this direction of development of artificial intelligence allows you to create new rules in the calculation process. And the problems arising from the symbolic approach can be solved by logical methods.

logical approach

This approach involves the creation of models that mimic the process of reasoning. It is based on the principles of logic.

This approach does not involve the use of rigid algorithms that lead to a certain result.

Agent Based Approach

It uses intelligent agents. This approach assumes the following: intelligence is a computational part, through which goals are achieved. The machine plays the role of an intelligent agent. She learns the environment with the help of special sensors, and interacts with it through mechanical parts.

The agent-based approach focuses on the development of algorithms and methods that allow machines to remain operational in various situations.

Hybrid approach

This approach involves the integration of neural and symbolic models, due to which the solution of all problems associated with the processes of thinking and computing is achieved. For example, neural networks can generate the direction in which the operation of a machine moves. And static learning provides the basis through which problems are solved.

According to company experts Gartner, by the beginning of the 2020s, almost all released software products will use artificial intelligence technologies. Also, experts suggest that about 30% of investments in the digital sphere will fall on AI.

According to Gartner analysts, artificial intelligence opens up new opportunities for cooperation between people and machines. At the same time, the process of crowding out a person by AI cannot be stopped and in the future it will accelerate.

In company PwC believe that by 2030 the volume of the world's gross domestic product will grow by about 14% due to the rapid introduction of new technologies. Moreover, approximately 50% of the increase will provide an increase in the efficiency of production processes. The second half of the indicator will be the additional profit received through the introduction of AI in products.

Initially, the United States will receive the effect of the use of artificial intelligence, since this country has created the best conditions for the operation of AI machines. In the future, they will be surpassed by China, which will extract the maximum profit by introducing such technologies into products and their production.

Company experts Sale force claim that AI will increase the profitability of small businesses by about $1.1 trillion. And it will happen by 2021. In part, this indicator will be achieved through the implementation of solutions offered by AI in systems responsible for communication with customers. At the same time, the efficiency of production processes will improve due to their automation.

The introduction of new technologies will also create an additional 800,000 jobs. Experts note that this figure offsets the loss of vacancies due to process automation. Analysts, based on a survey among companies, predict their spending on factory automation will rise to about $46 billion by the early 2020s.

In Russia, work is also underway in the field of AI. For 10 years, the state has financed more than 1.3 thousand projects in this area. Moreover, most of the investments went to the development of programs that are not related to the conduct of commercial activities. This shows that the Russian business community is not yet interested in introducing artificial intelligence technologies.

In total, about 23 billion rubles were invested in Russia for these purposes. The amount of government subsidies is inferior to the amount of AI funding shown by other countries. In the United States, about 200 million dollars are allocated for these purposes every year.

Basically, in Russia, funds are allocated from the state budget for the development of AI technologies, which are then used in the transport sector, the defense industry, and in projects related to security. This circumstance indicates that in our country people are more likely to invest in areas that allow you to quickly achieve a certain effect from the invested funds.

The above study also showed that Russia now has a high potential for training specialists who can be involved in the development of AI technologies. Over the past 5 years, about 200 thousand people have been trained in areas related to AI.

AI technologies are developing in the following directions:

  • solving problems that make it possible to bring the capabilities of AI closer to human ones and find ways to integrate them into everyday life;
  • development of a full-fledged mind, through which the tasks facing humanity will be solved.

At the moment, researchers are focused on developing technologies that solve practical problems. So far, scientists have not come close to creating a full-fledged artificial intelligence.

Many companies are developing technologies in the field of AI. "Yandex" has been using them in the work of the search engine for more than one year. Since 2016, the Russian IT company has been engaged in research in the field of neural networks. The latter change the nature of the work of search engines. In particular, neural networks compare the query entered by the user with a certain vector number that most fully reflects the meaning of the task. In other words, the search is conducted not by the word, but by the essence of the information requested by the person.

In 2016 "Yandex" launched the service "Zen", which analyzes user preferences.

Company Abbyy recently introduced a system Compreno. With the help of it, it is possible to understand the text written in natural language. Other systems based on artificial intelligence technologies have also entered the market relatively recently:

  1. findo. The system is capable of recognizing human speech and searches for information in various documents and files using complex queries.
  2. Gamalon. This company introduced a system with the ability to self-learn.
  3. Watson. An IBM computer that uses a large number of algorithms to search for information.
  4. ViaVoice. Human speech recognition system.

Large commercial companies are not bypassing advances in the field of artificial intelligence. Banks are actively implementing such technologies in their activities. With the help of AI-based systems, they conduct transactions on exchanges, manage property and perform other operations.

The defense industry, medicine and other areas are implementing object recognition technologies. And game development companies are using AI to create their next product.

Over the past few years, a group of American scientists has been working on a project NEIL, in which the researchers ask the computer to recognize what is shown in the photograph. Experts suggest that in this way they will be able to create a system capable of self-learning without external intervention.

Company VisionLab introduced its own platform LUNA, which can recognize faces in real time by selecting them from a huge cluster of images and videos. This technology is now used by large banks and network retailers. With LUNA, you can compare people's preferences and offer them relevant products and services.

A Russian company is working on similar technologies N-Tech Lab. At the same time, its specialists are trying to create a face recognition system based on neural networks. According to the latest data, Russian development copes with the assigned tasks better than a person.

According to Stephen Hawking, the development of artificial intelligence technologies in the future will lead to the death of mankind. The scientist noted that people will gradually degrade due to the introduction of AI. And in the conditions of natural evolution, when a person needs to constantly fight to survive, this process will inevitably lead to his death.

Russia is positively considering the introduction of AI. Alexei Kudrin once said that the use of such technologies would reduce the cost of maintaining the state apparatus by about 0.3% of GDP. Dmitry Medvedev predicts the disappearance of a number of professions due to the introduction of AI. However, the official stressed that the use of such technologies will lead to the rapid development of other industries.

According to experts from the World Economic Forum, by the beginning of the 2020s, about 7 million people in the world will lose their jobs due to the automation of production. The introduction of AI is highly likely to cause the transformation of the economy and the disappearance of a number of professions related to data processing.

Experts McKinsey declare that the process of automation of production will be more active in Russia, China and India. In these countries, in the near future, up to 50% of workers will lose their jobs due to the introduction of AI. Their place will be taken by computerized systems and robots.

According to McKinsey, artificial intelligence will replace jobs that involve manual labor and information processing: retail, hotel staff, and so on.

By the middle of this century, according to experts from an American company, the number of jobs worldwide will be reduced by about 50%. People will be replaced by machines capable of carrying out similar operations with the same or higher efficiency. At the same time, experts do not exclude the option in which this forecast will be realized before the specified time.

Other analysts note the harm that robots can cause. For example, McKinsey experts point out that robots, unlike humans, do not pay taxes. As a result, due to a decrease in budget revenues, the state will not be able to maintain infrastructure at the same level. Therefore, Bill Gates proposed a new tax on robotic equipment.

AI technologies increase the efficiency of companies by reducing the number of mistakes made. In addition, they allow you to increase the speed of operations to a level that cannot be achieved by a person.

It all started with the scientific and technological revolution, which served as a powerful impetus for the development of technology. It was then that the transition from an industrial society to a post-industrial one took place. Of course, Nikola Tesla with his alternating current, Alexander Popov with the invention of radio, Alexander Bell - thanks to him, humanity got acquainted with the telephone are considered geniuses who turned the usual picture of the world upside down.

It is worth mentioning the people who until recently created or continue to work in this fertile field. Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk are outstanding minds who have made and continue to make a significant contribution to the development of society today. They move forward our new, high-tech world. And very soon a new miracle will appear before the eyes of people. The indefatigable Elon Musk said that in ten years it will be possible to write messages using the "power of thought." Relatively recently, he would have been called crazy or an eccentric, but in the good old days they could have been counted! But in the twenty-first century, the world has become more tolerant and inquisitive. However, it is difficult to surprise humanity, fed up with a large number of new products, informs.

So what can interest our generation and take technology to the next level? The answer is artificial intelligence and nanotechnology. The creation of artificial intelligence will lead to the emergence of new directions, as well as the expansion of the functions of existing ones, such as speech recognition and synthesis, prediction, cluster analysis, and many others. Developments have been going on for a long time, but to create a fully functional model, a new technical solution, known as a "quantum supercomputer", whose computing power can provide full functionality, will be required.

The implementation of these ideas has its global pros and cons:
The first plus is the production factor. Today, the presence of a person is necessary, he evaluates the quality of the work performed and eliminates technical malfunctions.

In the future, artificial intelligence will manage the entire chain on its own. It is assumed that he will do it an order of magnitude better than his creator.

The second is research. The study of space, the depths of the ocean or the earth's core will become safer, provide more opportunities. Where a man cannot pass, a machine will cope.

The third is medicine. Diagnostics, surgery, rehabilitation, implants.

Of the minuses can be identified:
The main thing is the replacement of man by machines, which will lead to mass unemployment of the population. What to do with millions, billions of unemployed people? The question is still open.

The second is failures in the operation of global information and production networks. This can create global problems.

In 2003, there were disruptions in the power supply system in Canada as well. New York, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa were left without electricity. Traffic jams, hundreds of thousands of people locked in the subway, facts of looting, loss of life, fluctuations in world oil markets.

This is such an annoying call. The reasons were various. Lightning strike, failures at nuclear power plants, but the fact remains. Fifty million people were left without power for several hours, and this led to panic and confusion. Some behaved like lost children, others were worse than animals.

The world is very fragile, and the coating of human civilization is very thin.

The third is the seizure of power on the planet by the AIs, the enslavement or complete destruction of people. Today, such a scenario is considered only in science fiction films and books. But it is not the first time for mankind to make a fairy tale come true. And not necessarily a fairy tale with a happy ending.

But let's be optimistic. We believe in human genius and new names in the world of high technologies and humane ideas. Civilization has stood on the brink more than once, but every time people appear with advanced, non-standard thoughts that do not allow them to fall into the abyss.

Is there already unprecedented technological progress related to the possibilities of artificial intelligence (AI)? In many areas, smart technologies are already being applied. However, it still takes a long time for machines to become truly equal or superior to humans. Until scientists develop super-intelligence - "strong AI", so we humans continue to coexist and use machine "weak AI".

“Strong AI” will replace humans in the future, while “weak AI” is an extension of human cognitive abilities, and already today it helps in solving precise problems. Artificial intelligence will become the main modernization of society and the economy. AI will help to cope with more global tasks - for example, the development of smart cities, ensuring safer and smoother movement of vehicles, reducing energy consumption, optimizing electrical networks, reducing carbon dioxide emissions, and even more effective protection of Internet access.

Taking into account the demographic development, increasing overall productivity through the use of smart technologies will be a serious competitive advantage for enterprises.

The intellect needs to be stimulated

Weak AI and traditional rule-based information systems are already delivering tangible benefits to companies today. They manage financial transactions, make preliminary calculations, and model the development of the economy. Artificial intelligence is good at recognizing various violations such as credit card fraud.

In addition, smart tools are great for making diagnoses and making predictions in medicine. In particular, machine intelligence can evaluate x-rays before the radiologist makes a final decision.

When it comes to recognizing a text pattern, images in it, handwriting, materials, and substances, AI does it better than humans. All of these are important in proactive maintenance and repair.

Artificial intelligence has great potential in the field of economy and business. AI will not only save users from performing routine operations or dangerous tasks, but will also allow them to analyze large amounts of data much faster and make decisions based on the forecasts received. Moreover, robots will find wide application in factory automation, and this will open up many new opportunities. For example, countries like Germany will become more attractive to create production, AI will make it competitive. There will no longer be economic reasons for outsourcing production to countries with lower wages. With smarter products, processes and machines (Internet of Things, IoT), new business lines will emerge.

AI is emerging as a revolutionary core technology that will change traditional ways of working and software applications. But we must understand that, like people, machines also sometimes make mistakes. As long as a person's health and life are not at stake, mistakes are acceptable. By estimating the percentage of correct execution of tasks, we can determine the probability of correct calculation of the algorithm. We will no longer have to perform tasks manually, but we will need to monitor the results of processing and adjust the operation of the machine if necessary.

Information is the key

Human cognitive abilities are limited. We don't even use 80% of all the information we get. At the same time, this information is becoming more and more every day. The era of Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things will increase the amount of world data by 10 times by 2020.

Today's flurry of information is perfect for artificial intelligence applications. However, ERP systems, for example, are not capable of handling the bulk of corporate information. This requires context-sensitive software that can efficiently manage large amounts of data, store it, and scale databases out as needed. All this was and remains the function of enterprise content management systems - ECM.

Already 20 years ago, most of the information, about 80%, in a business context was not structured. The situation is still the same: emails, documents, social media content, websites, machine data, images, videos, etc.

In the era of artificial intelligence, information is finally recognized as an important part of production. In the future, information logistics will become one of the key factors that will influence the formation of the value of the product. Information storage is the core of ECM, and it is the systems of this class that freely work with the new business currency - with information.

Information management is a technologically challenging task for companies. In addition to ECM and ERP systems, many other business applications are used, and their contents are stored in separate databases and structures. All this affects the productivity of employees of enterprises. In addition, this situation complicates the implementation of artificial intelligence. AI needs data from multiple sources to learn and make predictions, so integrating company information systems is more strategic than ever.

Contact with new technology

The human-computer interface is no longer limited to the keyboard, mouse, scanner and camera. Soon all types of devices, solutions and software applications will be able to respond to user requests, and not in a technical language, but in the same way as people communicate with each other. We will be able to establish a human-like dialogue with the machine. Currently, many companies are working on the ability to process natural human language in ECM.

No more user interfaces

Unlike humans, virtual agents do not need user interfaces. In the future, there will no longer be traditional user interfaces for collecting data, searching and sharing information. As in the case of financial transactions, people will be involved in the business process only if the system registers a deviation or gets out of control. With algorithm-based systems such as ECM, business processes and many decisions can be automated for the most part. In the future, information management will become somewhat different: predicting the needs of the user, the system will display information in the context of current work, actions, decisions, i.e. no more searching manually.

Most likely, the first companies that will work with AI-based ECM systems will be from the financial services industry, where the functions of administrative staff are mainly information processing. Accounting also deals with huge amounts of data, and its complexity is constantly increasing due to new legal regulations and more stringent requirements. The automatic processing of incoming invoices already today consists of a fully automated process or even the automatic creation of postings when invoicing.

Artificial intelligence should be useful and beneficial

Artificial intelligence is a real art, because, on the one hand, technology should serve people, and on the other hand, it should not detract from the value of human labor. We are only at the beginning of a long journey and interesting events, and the end is not yet in sight. Despite all the hype around digitalization, most companies can hardly be called advanced in this matter. But digitalization is a prerequisite for the introduction of artificial intelligence.

While AI is developing, enterprises need to be digitized. ECM systems should be on the agenda for most companies, their value is difficult to measure, but no one doubts the practicality - they just need to be deployed.

“The evolution from brain to artificial intelligence will be more radical than from monkey to human,” says Nick Bostrom, philosopher and guru in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Nick is right. Today, the most successful companies, from Bosch to Starbucks, are using AI-powered developments to cut costs, increase profits and improve productivity.

#2. Data control and monitoring

Constant control and monitoring of the company's infrastructure is another opportunity to use AI technologies in business. French energy company Engie is using drones with machine learning-based image recognition programs in factories. Drones monitor the equipment - they examine the infrastructure to prevent possible damage.

AI control and monitoring systems are well suited for urban environments as well. The simplest example - license plate recognition - is used by municipal organizations. We are for a customer from Germany. The government of Catalonia is following the same path, providing its police department with algorithms and license plates.

Do you want to reduce the risk of wear and tear and equipment damage and create an airbag for your company? Artificial intelligence-based monitoring systems will help with this.

Many fear that artificial intelligence will replace us in all areas of industry. Fear aside! High technologies help to automate various processes - from simple sending of letters to booking air tickets. But the goal of highly intelligent solutions is not to replace people, but to make human labor more efficient.

Thus, the Japanese insurance company Fukoku Mutual Life Insurance installed a program from IBM - Watson Explorer AI. This system analyzes data from medical policies on transactions and procedures to calculate the amount of payments. According to Fukoku representatives, the introduction of artificial intelligence will allow them to increase productivity by 30%.

Consider automating your business processes with AI algorithms. They not only complete complex tasks faster, but are also able to work 24 hours a day.

#four. Predictive analytics

People want to know the future, and companies even more so.

AI technologies are able to process large amounts of data, identify patterns and predict the future. In one of our R&D projects, we were developing . The system analyzes the similarity of customers and products in order to recommend other products similar to those purchased by them or shoppers with the same preferences.

Another example: Expedia, the world's largest online travel planning platform - from hotel reservations to vehicle rentals - uses machine learning to make personalized recommendations to portal users.

Artificial intelligence shows good results in building forecasts due to the ability to learn. And, unlike traditional predictive approaches, predictive analytics is highly adaptable to changing behavior—when new data comes in, it gets better.

#5. Unstructured Data Analysis

“80% of all data in the world is not structured,” says IBM loudly. These numbers are hard to believe. But the fact remains - with the widespread use of mobile devices, we daily generate a lot of digital unstructured content: messages in instant messengers, letters, photos and videos.

AI algorithms help companies understand this “wealth” and structure the data so that they can be analyzed later. A similar principle is at the heart of Siri - unstructured colloquial speech, passing through the program's algorithm, becomes structured and undergoes further processing.

The analysis of unstructured data has a huge potential for manufacturing and resource-extracting enterprises that accumulate mixed information for years. Such an analysis can make the work of the R&D engineers themselves easier - save time on sorting and organizing data before evaluating it and tracing important relationships.

“In 5-10 years, artificial intelligence, and in particular deep learning, will allow robots to perform the most tedious and time-consuming tasks that we do on a daily basis,” said Matt Murphy, director of Chime. Her profile is smart CRM systems for real estate agencies.

Real business follows this trend. Online retailer Ocado is building a computer vision system and a network of robots to replace barcode scanning in its warehouses. This will help speed up the search and issuance of the desired goods.

While surgical and agricultural robots have already established themselves, robotization in other areas is only gaining momentum, but, according to scientists, the market for robots and artificial intelligence will grow rapidly in the next decade. Why not take advantage of its opportunities today to loudly declare yourself tomorrow?

Whatever our future may be, artificial intelligence will be part of it. There will be more startups and mobile applications based on machine learning, some jobs will disappear, others will appear - completely new ones. Artificial intelligence will change the world, as the internet once did. It is all the more important for businesses to learn how to apply the power of AI to themselves and their customers.
