Reviews

Oksana:“I got my lips tattooed for the first time in a specialized salon, the result was lasting and lasted a little more than 2 years, although the color gradually faded. It's time to pass repeat procedure, but I decided to do it at home because it didn’t seem too difficult to me. In the end, I managed to do it, but it turned out to be not so easy, and the result was of less quality. I decided for myself that I would not save money and would continue to do permanent makeup only from a trusted artist.”

Anastasia:“I’ve wanted to do permanent lip makeup for a long time, but I was scared off by the photos unsuccessful procedures which I looked at on the Internet. At some point, I was still tempted to do this, because I found out that such makeup could be done by the artist who gave me tattoos. As a result, everything turned out just fine, nothing to do with the horror that I saw on the Internet.”

Julia:“All my life I was not satisfied with the appearance of my lips, or rather, their shape and uneven borders, which I always tried to disguise with lipstick. One day I was offered permanent makeup and agreed to undergo this procedure, which I never regretted. Now I don’t need to use decorative cosmetics every day.”

Marina:"After watching the video from various master classes, I decided to do permanent lip makeup at home. Only at first glance it seems very difficult, but in reality you just have to get used to it and the procedure is very easy. I never thought that such minor adjustments could radically change one’s appearance for the better.”

Ksenia:“I tried to do permanent lip makeup at home, but as a result I abandoned the idea, deciding not to risk my appearance. Required maximum accuracy all actions, besides, even when standing in front of a mirror, it is difficult to navigate where exactly the dye is applied, since experience in similar cases I have few. I'd rather pay more money and I’ll turn to specialists, but I’ll get a quality result.”

Valentina:“I ordered a special marker for lip biotattoo through an online store, it cost almost 700 rubles, and the result disappeared on just the third day! I regret the money spent, but I decided to try a second experiment, this time using henna. The procedure, of course, was much more difficult for me, but the resulting effect still lasts and does not go away, and much less money was spent.”

Karina:“I did my own permanent lip makeup. I was pleased with the result, but it took a lot of time and nerves: I often missed and smeared excess henna, which I immediately had to wash off. I decided for myself that I would not repeat the procedure at home, I would rather overpay, but let the professionals do it.”

Tatiana:“I wanted to do permanent makeup at home, but after reading reviews on the Internet, I decided to go to the salon. Initially, I didn’t want to turn to specialists because I was afraid of the pain from the punctures, but the anesthesia turned out to be very good. Mild discomfort was felt for several days after the procedure, but everything was quite tolerable.”

Irina:“For me, permanent makeup became a real torture: after it, my lips became very swollen, an allergic reaction began, touching them was painful. For 1.5 weeks I was even embarrassed to leave the house and feared for further consequences, but all side effects soon passed. The final color was formed in about a month, and my appearance changed significantly, so I never regretted my pain.”

Margarita:“I have long wanted to do permanent makeup for myself, I decided to carry out the procedure exclusively at home, because I can’t stand the pain very well, and given the high sensitivity of my lips, I don’t know how I would even survive it. I read on the Internet that doing such a biotattoo is very difficult, especially the first time. I don’t know what difficulties might arise, but everything worked out for me, and I’m absolutely satisfied with the final result. The main thing in this matter is focus on results, caution and attentiveness.”

Maria: “At the beginning of this year I did permanent lip makeup at the salon, the result is simply amazing! Previously, my lips were faded and thin, even lipstick didn’t help, and I couldn’t imagine that they could look like they do now.”

Daria:“Permanent lip makeup is an excellent solution for me, allowing me to stop using lipstick. I went through this procedure in the salon twice, I will go again soon because the shade has become too faded. At the same time, the result remained stable for almost 3 years, which indicates the good work of the master.”

I still decided to devote a separate article to this experiment, since this is no longer mehendi, but eyeliner, and few people are familiar with this topic, it is quite rare (I found information on it only in one of the salons in Moscow) and, I must admit , not the safest. Even the owners of the Indian store, where they sell antimony, henna, and everything connected with it, were extremely surprised when I told them that I was going to use henna as eyeliner (I don’t even want to know what they thought)) So, , I tried it - I’m sharing my impressions! But first, right away WARNING in case anyone decides to try this for themselves:

  1. If you have dry/normal skin on your eyelids or are allergic to henna, you can read it out of curiosity, but don’t repeat it! This “eyeliner” is suitable ONLY for damp/oily skin, otherwise you risk drying out the henna sensitive skin eyelids or cause irritation!
  2. Under no circumstances should henna get on the mucous membrane! She can do Outer arrows ONLY!
  3. do not use black henna on your eyelids - to make it black, paraphenylenediamine (PPD) is added to it, which often causes allergies on the skin, and is certainly not suitable for the eyes! Can be used for eyeliner ONLY brown/red henna! If you think that arrows of this color will not suit you, it is better to abandon this idea altogether.

I'll tell you what motivated me. I have very moist eyes, any eyeliner, even a very expensive luxury brand, waterproof or anything else, runs in the corners of my eyes within half an hour after application, and I really like to line my eyes in oriental style, that is, along the entire perimeter of the cut. In this regard, I tried an incredible number of different eyeliners, pencils and cosmetic markers, all of which turned out to be not durable enough, the only difference is that some caused me allergies, others did not.

Having recently become acquainted with mehendi, I thought, if henna lasts so wonderfully on the skin and at the same time is a natural and harmless dye, couldn’t it be used for super-long-lasting eye makeup? Anyway, I don’t make it black, but brown – the color of henna. Having scoured the Internet a little, I found information on how this is done. Actually, the same as mehendi, but without the use of oil so that it does not get into the eyes.

We choose henna. I have 2 types henna for mehendi– one semi-natural (pictured above), lasts no more than 2 weeks, applied independently without oil, the second is natural Indian (pictured below), lasts a month or more applied along with mehendi oil, its color appears within 1-2 days.

To test and compare both types of henna, I use them to apply small lines on some area of the skin that is rarely exposed. If within 12 hours none of them causes allergic reaction, then you can apply them to your eyes. And then I’ll make some small drawing in place of the stripes.

Since I didn’t experience any side effects during the test, I can now try henna on my eyes.

I apply henna on my eyelids for the night. First, I wipe off excess oil from the eyelids with a napkin and degrease the skin - dip cotton swab into the lotion, remove excess liquid from it (so that it does not drip into the eyes) and gently wipe the edges of the eyelids along the eyelash line, the inner and outer corners of the eyes, trying not to touch the mucous membrane (this is harmful!). I let the lotion evaporate so that the feeling of its presence on the skin completely disappears (1-2 minutes).

Now I start applying henna. I'll start with the first type of henna, which lasts for 2 weeks, in order to see how it looks and behaves before our eyes. I use it the same way as for mehendi - I squeeze out thin “sausages” from the tube along the same lines along which I usually do eyeliner. I fill it with henna interciliary space, it is very convenient for this - its slightly liquid consistency penetrates well between the eyelashes and colors the skin there. As a result, there won’t be this effect that I hate, when a white, unpainted stripe remains between the eyelashes and the eyeliner. However, it is important not to touch the mucous membrane. I have convex ones big eyes, and it’s convenient for me to control the process, but if there are doubts that you can repeat it, it’s better not to take risks and make arrows only along the outer edge of the eyelashes.

Feeling when applied- slight burning sensation. It feels like the henna is literally eating into the skin, but this feeling quickly passes and does not cause any discomfort.

I let the henna dry a little and go to bed. In the morning, the dried film of henna is easily removed, since during the night the skin has released a certain amount of oil, and this film has come off well. I remove the film, paint my eyelashes with mascara - I’m done, I won’t do anything else.

In the photo on the left: above - without makeup (gray arrow lines - old tattoo, which I don’t want to repeat yet); in the middle - during the process of applying henna; below - immediately after removing the films.

If you wish, you can complement your makeup with shadows, but I don’t do this for the same reason - my eyes are too wet, the shadows don’t last on me at all. The color of henna is brown, not too bright, quite acceptable for everyday use.

After a whole day of wear, the henna not only did not run, but did not even change color, did not turn pale, and did not give any side effects. My eyes feel great, they are not irritated or itchy, like some of the cosmetic eyeliners we are used to.

On the left in the photo: henna that lasted a day on me (without touch-ups or any other additions) cosmetics). Besides my naturally moist eyes, these hands withstood the 30-degree July heat!

Now let's move on to the next type of henna - natural Indian, which should last on the skin for a month. Going without makeup for a month and still having winged lines in the inner corners of your eyes is just a dream! Of course, I don’t expect miracles, after all, the skin of the eyelids is very moist and renews itself faster than, say, on an arm or leg (where mehendi is usually done), but even if this period is a week, that will suit me. But alas, no matter how hard I tried to do it, natural henna Doesn't stay on your eyelids. It just dries up, I take it off and find absolutely nothing underneath. clean skin. So I’ll have to say goodbye to the dream of round-the-clock shooters for a couple of weeks, I’ll go back to the previous option.

In addition to what is listed above in the warning, such makeup has one more significant flaw: this henna gives reddish tint. If I’ve had enough sleep and my face is fresh, she looks more or less (with red hair it’s quite good), but as soon as I don’t get enough sleep or sit too long in front of the monitor, my eyes turn a little red, and henna immediately emphasizes this with its color, turning just tired eyes into inflamed and somehow... then unhealthy. And since I sit at the computer a lot, I’ll probably have to continue the search/invention of a super-resistant eyeliner.

All girls take care of their hair, skin, nails... However, for some reason many forget about their lips. But they also require care (not covered with lipstick and lip gloss, but care!). I often don’t have time to do some long and complex procedures, so when taking care of myself I try to select products and recipes that don’t take up too much of my time.

So, let's move on to the tips:

1. Of course, first of all need to get rid of bad habits . Do not bite or lick your lips or touch them with your hands. Firstly, it’s not aesthetically pleasing, and secondly, you won’t end up with problems with dryness/inflammation/coldness/other nasty things.

2. Drink more water . I earlier water I couldn't stand it at all. It’s good if you drink half a glass a day. And this, of course, was reflected on the skin, hair, lips. Don't neglect this rule. Even now I can’t drink 2 liters a day, but I should drink at least 5 glasses necessary!

These were basic rules. Without them, you can’t even read further!

3. Exfoliation . Very important point. If you have time, I advise you to prepare a SCRUB. Many people know his recipe, but I will repeat: HONEY + SUGAR. You can also add oil, but in principle these two ingredients are enough. Scrub your lips for 3 minutes, then leave for another couple of minutes.

But I achieve the same result by simply doing "massage" lips with a toothbrush . No need to waste time on preparation + enlargement effect. IMPORTANT!!! if there are small wounds on the lips, carry out this procedure it is forbidden!!! It will be incredibly painful and the result will not please you.

Although for me the most the best way exfoliation was and remains shower . While I take care of my hair and skin, my lips “themselves” delicately get rid of dead skin particles.

4. Balms. It took me a long time to find my perfect balm. I used different ones, but they were all unsatisfactory. I stayed for quite some time Clean line.

Now I give preference balms self made . I ordered from a master from the Fair of Masters website. I don't know if it's possible to paste a link here, so if anyone is interested, please send me a private message.

The history of body decoration using a substance obtained from the leaves of non-thorny lavsonia dates back 5 thousand years. It originated in India and North Africa, where women put designs on their hands before their wedding. Later, beauties learned to use this dye to add expressiveness to their facial features by tinting their eyebrows. Today natural makeup became fashionable in Russia, and a new service for biotattooing lips with henna appeared in beauty salons. To become better acquainted with the procedure, we recommend studying photos of the masters’ work.

Temporary make-up and its features

The paint that nature produces does not penetrate into the upper layers of the epidermis, which is typical for permanent cosmetic tattooing. Therefore, it is washed out from the eyebrow area in three weeks. It lasts even less in the mouth area, since there is constant moisture here.

But if you are afraid of pain, or have contraindications for long-term tattooing, then this coloring option is perfect for you.

Apply biotattoo to lips simply Iranian henna very hard. As a rule, the shade is barely noticeable or the pigment is not absorbed into the skin at all. A special marker has been developed for these purposes. This is a harmless way to create makeup. The variety of colors is amazing, there are as many of them as any lipstick. Every woman can choose for herself suitable tone. The holding time is several times longer than that of decorative cosmetics. In the photo this coloring looks beautiful.

A master can transform your natural shade, making the color more rich and sexy. There is also a great opportunity creating a 6d volume in which the entire surface is covered with pigment. For work, several tones are used at once with smooth transitions between them. This technique allows you to create highlights and shades. Biotattoo on lips in 6d volume is recommended for women who have a naturally thin shape or an unclear contour.

Henna dyeing on this area of the face should be done carefully.. Firstly, it is difficult to determine from a photo the exact color that will appear on skin. You must first do a test on an inconspicuous area. It is especially important to do this for 6D drawings in order to know exactly which shades are best suited for the job. Secondly, the skin requires preliminary scrubbing, cleansing and preparation for good absorption of paint.

Why biotattooing with henna should be done by a master:

  1. Extensive experience working with natural dyes.
  2. Trained in special techniques for creating drawings.
  3. Knows the secrets of how to extend the life of makeup.
  4. There is a wide variety of colors in the arsenal.

Advantages

Temporary makeup has many advantages over needle micropigmentation. This is a gentle procedure that can be performed even on people with serious illnesses.

Coloring using this method is absolutely harmless to health. There is no risk of contracting viral infections.

Advantages:

  1. No swelling and recovery period, even after applying 6d makeup.
  2. The skin is not damaged, therefore, unlike permanent tattoo, no peeling, crusts or discoloration.
  3. You can continue to lead your usual lifestyle.
  4. Suitable for women during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as the substances do not enter the bloodstream.
  5. Looks absolutely natural even in photos and in good lighting.

Among the disadvantages, it should be noted that biotattooing remains on the skin for a short period of time and requires careful care. To preserve color, it is recommended to refrain from visiting the pool and sauna. Do not use scrubbing skin care products on this area or treat with lotions and creams. To extend service life you need use almond and olive oil daily.

The procedure for creating a make-up natural dyes winning more and more fans every day. It helps you stay well-groomed at any time of the day and under any conditions. Biotattoo on the lips looks very natural and relaxed in the photo. And thanks to the 6D henna effect, you can give yourself a gift in the form of a plump, seductive outline.
