Scarf snood on the line crochet. Broomstick: how to knit an original scarf on a ruler

Greetings to all lovers of knitting! Spring is coming. You still need to dress while warm, but at the same time look fashionable and beautiful. Scarves, hats and mittens are those accessories that we can knit or sew ourselves. In recent seasons, a snood scarf has become very popular, which has different shapes and each of you can create it with your own hands. I bring to your attention interesting ways of knitting a snood scarf on a video with which you will create your incredible masterpieces.

Some may object, saying that this takes a long time to learn and you just won’t connect anything. I assure you, it is not easy, but very simple. You can master some methods on the fly and get a new accessory after half an hour of work. And you can't even call it work. This is a very exciting and exciting process that will give you real pleasure.

The most common ways of knitting snoods are carried out using knitting needles and a hook. These methods, of course, need to be learned. But we will go the other way and make life easier for ourselves. Is it possible to deny yourself the pleasure of getting a fashionable thing just because you don’t know how to knit?

For the first unusual method, the most basic crochet skills that you will see in the video are enough, but the main knitting is done using a regular straight line. I hope that it is in every home. To create this snood scarf, you will need threads, a hook and a ruler.

A very original and unusual pattern is obtained using this method. Is not it? Openwork holes create an intricate pattern, and few people will guess how it is made. Your friends will be shocked when they find out with what you did it.

The next method is also quite original. You will need thread and a hook, which will only be used as an auxiliary tool. And the main tool will be a wooden frame. On it you will create the future canvas of the snood.

Making such a frame is not at all difficult. It is enough to take a few wooden blocks and long nails. Drive in the nails evenly spaced along the frame and the tool is ready to use. If there are men in the house, then they will certainly cope with this task within 10 minutes.

As you can see, everything is very simple. The process requires only attention, accuracy and a little time from you. As a result, you will get a beautiful snood scarf, made in an unusual way.

The next technique is probably familiar to many and made a splash in the world of creativity. Knitting, without the help of any objects, has become a hit lately. This method can be used anywhere and at any time, having only threads with you. And as a tool, use your own hands or even fingers.

Volumetric knitting is now incredibly popular and snood scarves, knitted on the hands, look super fashionable and unusual.

But, it turns out, some craftswomen went even further. They perfected this technique. It is no more difficult than the previous one, it just takes a little more time to prepare. Check out this interesting solution and the result.

Agree that snood turns out to be more curious and intricate. It seems to be connected from threads, but it seems not. And simple and clever. That's what creativity means.

I hope you enjoyed these interesting ways to knit a snood scarf and you will definitely use one of them to update your collection of accessories. By the way, not only women can do this. For men, this is more than possible. How nice it will be for ladies to receive such a warm gift from the hands of a loved one.

And in conclusion, I want to introduce you to David Babcock, who not only perfectly mastered a wide variety of knitting methods, but also combines it with sports. He creates his works on the run. And he already has a lot of followers around the world.

For those who love traditional knitting, I suggest for consideration

Openwork snood - collar made of angora threads.

For a long time I chose an openwork pattern made with knitting needles, which would be moderately airy and not consist of holes alone. I wanted the drawing to resemble leaves, since my snood is a collar designed for spring. And the leaves are just a spring theme). For work, I chose delicate angora threads, which took only 100 grams. The pattern of the leaves, made with knitting needles, turned out to be very beautiful.

The figure shows a diagram of a pattern, to which three loops were added on both sides (one edge and two front ones) for knitting a snood. The diagram shows 28 rows: odd - facial, even - purl. For this snud, 86 loops were cast on. Depending on their number, the width of the scarf will be different.

For the snood, one skein of thread was used and the final dimensions were as follows: 140 cm long and 53 cm wide. After the snood was connected, it looked like this.

In order for the pattern to be even, the entire canvas must be ironed. I did this with the help of an iron on steam mode very carefully, without pressing the iron to the canvas, but smoothing it with my hands. Here is such a beautiful pattern appeared after steaming.

The scarf should be folded with the right side inside and the short edges sewn either on a typewriter or by hand. And the result is an accessory that will be very useful for my spring wardrobe.

Knitting a snood is not a difficult task, but if the pattern is intricate, then you will have to try to do it neatly and correctly. Using this pattern, you can knit many beautiful products, from openwork dresses to stoles. A scarf - a collar, a scarf - a pipe will always come in handy, which means there are not many of them. Such products are great for beginners who are not very strong in knitting. I hope that you liked my snood.

What is a snood scarf and how to wear it

For several seasons now, we have been observing how many people, when cold weather sets in, put on interesting accessories that are not tied in any way, but are wound around the neck in various ways. These products are called snoods. They have replenished the collection of unisex items, as they are worn by both women and men.

Scarves, as you know, are not a new thing and have been used for many centuries before us. But sometimes they were transformed into other products, such as headbands, stoles or sashes over the shoulder.

Literally translated from English, snood means a net or a leash. In past centuries, something similar was just used in the form of a net on the head for ladies' hairstyles. In the past century, a similar product appeared in the 80s and came into fashion as a hat - a pipe or a scarf - a pipe.

They were really very comfortable and original, but, unfortunately, they fell out of our wardrobe for a while. And now they have returned to us updated and in new versions.

A snood scarf is nothing more than a rectangular canvas of different sizes, the short sides of which are looped. That is, snood has neither beginning nor end. Depending on its width and length, it can be used in different ways.

WHAT TO MAKE SNUD FROM?

Scarf - snood can be made from a variety of materials, which is a great flight for creative imagination. It can be both knitted and fabric. For knitting threads, there is no limitation in terms of thickness or quality. It just depends on your preferences and the end result.

Craftswomen - knitters who are fond of knitting such products, demonstrate more and more new patterns. Of course, snood can be connected quite simply. This option is suitable for those who love simplicity without unnecessary decorations.

And those who like intricate and complex drawings frolic from the heart, experimenting with patterns, directions, and colors. Scarves - snoods can be crocheted and knitted, and in the most unexpected ways. They are knitted using a ruler, a special machine, and even in the absence of any devices, you will not be left without this convenient and practical thing, because you can tie a snood using only your hands!

Despite the fact that this is a voluminous accessory, it is worn not only in winter, but also in summer. It looks great with the simplest pieces like tank tops or t-shirts and gives the look a glamorous and mysterious look. Throwing a light silk snood over your head and wearing trendy sunglasses, you will turn into a mysterious stranger who you will definitely want to meet.

That is why they use a variety of threads and fabrics, from thin and airy to thick and warm. Snoods are sewn from cotton, silk, wool, knitwear, chiffon, boucle, fleece and nets.

By the way, very beautiful and unusual fur snoods have recently appeared. They look chic and elegant. If you are very afraid of the cold, then this option is perfect for you.

HOW TO WEAR SNUD?

The beauty of this product is that it replaces several things at once: a scarf, a hat, a tippet, a hood and even a vest (bolero). For practical people, this is a very important point. One product is enough to turn it into different wardrobe items with the help of simple manipulations. Isn't it wonderful?

Scarf - Snood can simply be thrown over the neck so that it hangs down and creates a beautiful waterfall. You can wrap it around your neck several times, as far as its length allows. Or throw it over your shoulders as a stole. The snood looks great in the form of a soft and comfortable hood that does not restrict movement at all. If you fold the scarf - snood several times, then it can also be used as a headdress in the form of a turban. Here is a hat for you, unusual and original.

If you are cold, then the scarf-collar will again come to the rescue. Make sure that the upper part of the snood lies on your neck, and the lower part is behind you. Put your hands in and you will get a beautiful bolero, which, if desired, can be fixed in front with a beautiful brooch.

And if you have several snoods in stock and you want to experiment, then fixing it in this way, as shown in the photo, you will get a full-fledged creative vest.

In a word, a thing that is necessary. And warm, and cozy, and functional, and beautiful, just like that, many women and men do not have enough in their wardrobe. And most importantly, you can create it with your own hands, even without having great skills in knitting or sewing. Perhaps you will get a taste and dress the whole family in snoods? Just your desire is enough and you will have magnificent scarves - snoods or scarves - collars. As anyone likes.

In the usual sense, brumstick (or Peruvian knitting) is a technique based on knitting long loops using a hook and a thick needle or ruler, or a special fork. The fabric is openwork and requires less yarn than Tunisian knitting.

If you are thinking of knitting a scarf or something else, but don’t know what pattern, choose a brumstick, you won’t regret it. Just a wonderful and beautiful pattern, when knitting which you can get a lot of pleasure.

For example, you can knit such an interesting scarf.

Gorgeous scarf and delicious colors. Knitting such an openwork scarf is not so difficult. This will require a minimum level of crocheting and a little patience.

You will need:

  • merino yarn + acrylic 225 m / 50 g in five cheerful colors;
  • hook 2.5 mm;
  • ruler 4 cm wide and 15 cm long.

The width of the ruler depends on the thickness of the yarn and how tight you need the scarf. On a narrow line, the scarf will be more dense, and on a wide line - more "perforated". Instead of a ruler, you can use any dense material, for example, cardboard, pasted over with tape around the edges.

So, let's start the process.

1. We take yellow yarn and crochet a long chain of air loops. For a scarf 170 cm long, 400 air loops were scored. This is a rather tedious task, but the result is worth it.

2. Having typed the loops, we make another air loop and pull it out with a crochet hook.

3. We put an elongated loop on the ruler.

4. Then insert the hook into the next link in the chain and grab the thread.

5. We pull the loop and put it on the ruler again.

6. We pull the thread, but not too much so as not to stretch the yarn.

7. We continue in the same spirit until the end of the chain, making sure that the chain does not twist. When the ruler is full, gradually shift the loops from it.

8. Here we have such a long shaggy fringe.

9. We take green yarn and do the same.

10. Now we put the fringes side by side, with loops to each other, we hook 5 green loops with a hook (you can use 4 or 6 - as you like).

11. Then we pick up 5 yellow loops and stretch them through 5 green ones.

12. Now we pick up the next 5 green loops and stretch through the yellow ones.

13. We continue to the end of the fringes, trying not to skip loops. As a result, we get such a braid. You can already try on your neck.

14. Now we take lilac yarn, tie it to any of the edges and begin to cast on loops on the ruler in a familiar way, from each link of the chain, to the end.

15. Our scarf is gaining width, we get just such a thing.

16. Then we again collect the chain with the desired yarn, make a fringe out of it, and weave it with lilac. And so on until the desired width of the scarf. If desired, you can tie the edges with single crochets so that they stretch less.

Now we decorate the ends of our scarf with tassels or pompoms, thereby securing our fringes so that they do not unravel. We wind this miracle around our neck and go outside to please everyone with bright colors!

The scarf is soft to the touch and airy.

Broomstick can be knitted or crocheted.
