Make your own satin ribbon crown. Kanzashi crown: master classes on creating beautiful New Year's accessories from experienced needlewomen

There are holidays in schools and kindergartens, and mothers must make costumes for this day. Any girl will love the princess costume. The lesson will tell you how to make a dazzling crown for her using the kanzashi technique.

The lesson has step-by-step photos and videos. The materials of the article contain information on which you will make a crown or diadem from kanzashi petals for the New Year's holiday.

For work you will need:

  • hair band;
  • satin ribbon;
  • guipure ribbon;
  • matches or lighter;
  • scissors;
  • decor material.

Wrap the headband with two different ribbons. It will be the main detail of needlework. Wrap it with ribbons in a checkerboard pattern, as shown in the photo.

Cut squares of satin ribbons with a side of 5 cm, and guipure squares with a side of 2 cm, as in the photo.

Take a large square and bend it diagonally. Connect the corners, burn the lighters with fire, and make the second square. Connect them by matching the corners and folding the petal. Cut corners and burn. From the wrong side, cut off the convex part.

Small petals follow the same technique. Here you will need tweezers. To form a crown, you need to make eleven large and seven small kanzashi petals.

Take 5 large petals and connect them with hot glue. Put a mark in the center of the rim with a pencil, and glue the workpiece.

After that, glue the remaining large petals on the sides.

Cut a piece of tape and glue 7 small blanks on it, forming a flower. In the middle of the flower, add a large bead or stone in the shape of a heart. The color of the bead should be in harmony with the dress of the princess. Glue a small flower to the center of the crown.

You have to decorate the diadem. Use beads shaped like flower stamens to decorate. Take 3 stamens and attach to the accessory. Fasten them into a small bouquet, and glue to the petals. After drying, add beads in places where the leaves meet. Set the crown aside until the glue dries.

Use this technique to make hats for girls.

To make the wrong side of the hoop neat, seal it with a strip of cardboard or matching tape.

Crown for a real princess

Another way to create a mini crown for girls. For needlework, prepare materials and tools:

  • white satin ribbon;
  • a wide brocade ribbon and a narrow silver one;
  • hoop;
  • glue gun;
  • decorative material in silver color to decorate the crown.

Wrap the bezel with a silver narrow tape, and glue the edges.

Cut out cylinders of styrofoam six centimeters in diameter. Stick on the brocade ribbon, and then white felt or satin fabric.

Make 35 white satin petals using the technique previously described.

Take 20 pieces, and glue on the sides of the cylinder.

Below, under the petals, silver beads are glued.

Make cloves with the remaining petals.

Take a floral tube, cut it into small pieces, and glue it on.

Move on to decorating the kanzashi crown. Glue silver snowflakes on the teeth, sprinkle sparkles inside, over a layer of transparent glue. At this stage, the kanzashi satin ribbon crown is ready.

elegant hat

To create a kanzashi hat, prepare:

  • ribbon of two shades satin;
  • cardboard;
  • beads;
  • glue;
  • scissors and hoop.

Cut out blanks of the desired size from cardboard.

New Year is a time of miracles and reincarnations. With special trepidation, small children await the arrival of magic. For them, matinees are an opportunity to feel like the main characters of a fairy tale. Naturally, girls dream of being princesses or Snow Maidens. In addition to a chic dress, bright accessories and stylish shoes, they also definitely need a crown that will immediately turn any girl into a New Year's beauty. In our master class, you will learn how to make a spectacular New Year's crown from kanzashi-style ribbons on a headband. Such an accessory also solves the problem with a hairstyle: hair can be collected in a bun or wrapped in a ring, or you can leave it loose (it would be nice to curl it first). From above we put on a wonderful elegant crown, made according to our master class, and the girl instantly turns into a beautiful Snow Maiden or a “princess” character.

In today's master class, the kanzashi crown for the New Year is made in green and gold. The green color, the shape of the petals, the cone-shaped arrangement of details - all this resembles a Christmas tree, and gold brocade and rhinestones fit perfectly into the overall festive ensemble. But, of course, nothing prevents you from making a New Year's crown for the Snow Maiden in white-blue-silver or any other color.

Our master class on making a New Year's kanzashi crown consists of several parts.

To make a kanzashi crown according to our master class, you will need:

a plastic hoop (hairband) of any color (about 0.8 cm wide or more);

thin green satin ribbon of two shades: light and dark - 2 cuts of 2 m each;

satin ribbon of the same green shades 5 cm wide - 2.9 m each;

golden brocade ribbon 5 cm wide - 2.9 m;

semi-beads with a diameter of 1.2 cm of red color - 7 pieces;

semi-beads with a diameter of 0.6 cm of red color - 10 pieces;

semi-beads with a diameter of 0.4 cm of red color - 7 pieces;

golden stars with a diameter of 1 cm - 14 pieces;

hot glue in tubes and a glue gun;

lighter.

New Year's crown kanzashi: MK with step by step photos

The New Year's crown, presented in the final photo, consists exclusively of sharp kanzashi petals. We make all the petals from three layers: a green ribbon of two shades and a golden brocade.

First, cut a wide ribbon (5 cm wide) of light, dark green and golden colors into 5 cm long segments. You will get 58 squares of each color. So that the tapes do not crumble, we quickly and accurately process the sections with a lighter flame.

Consider the process of making a petal.

Take three squares of the same size but different colors.

We bend all three squares diagonally. We burn the closed ends again with a lighter so that the corner sticks together. To do this, hold both edges of the tape tightly, then the melted material of the tape will solder them.

We fold the resulting figure again, combining the sharp corners. As in the previous step, solder the tails with a lighter.

If it doesn't work to glue the tape with a lighter, fold the tape as described and fix the tip with a drop of hot silicone glue. It is important that the glue is invisible.

We put all three figures with a sandwich one on top of the other: below - dark green, above - light, gold - at the very top. So that the triangles do not move, it makes sense to fix them with a pin.

Please note that the triangles are stacked on top of each other with a slight offset so that they are all clearly visible. This is clear from the photo.

We combine the sharp corners of the sandwich so that the golden petal is inside. The tip can be fixed again with a lighter or thread with a needle. But do not forget that the cut is uneven, multi-layered. The edge and foot of the petal will have to be cut with sharp scissors and the cut should be singeed well. Remember that the work must be neat both from the front and from the inside, since the back of the New Year's kanzashi crown will also be visible.

Repeating the described steps, we make 58 petals in this way.

The petals will be distributed as follows:

  • 19 pieces will be used for the bottom tier;
  • 18 pieces - for the middle tier;
  • 21 pcs - for triple bushes (7 bushes in total).

Before modeling the crown, the plastic bezel itself should be braided. To do this, take two thin green ribbons of different shades. On each we will make a loop: its height should be such that the second ribbon passes into it.

To start weaving, we stretch the dark ribbon into the light loop.

After that, we fold the light one in half and stretch the resulting loop into the loop of the dark tape.

We do the same with a dark ribbon: lay it up with a loop, and stretch the loop itself into the loop of a light ribbon. After that, we tighten the light ribbon a little: the weaving should be quite tight.

We continue to work, weaving a dense braid to decorate the rim under the crown for the New Year.

The length of a wide double braid is equal to the length of the rim. Cut the tape so that small ends remain. We will hide them under the pigtail.

We apply silicone glue to the hoop along the entire length. At the end of weaving, we bend the ends and glue this part of the braid to the rim. Then we press the finished braid from the tape along the entire length of the rim.

On the rim, we determine the center. So that the crown does not disappoint, accuracy in small things is important. We begin to glue the first row from the center to the sides. The first row, as we wrote above, consists of 19 petals, moreover. In total, we glue the first one exactly in the center, and on both sides of it we have 9 more petals.

We begin to glue sharp petals. You need to place them with glued corners up.

The back side of the headband will also look beautiful.

In a checkerboard pattern, we glue the details of the second tier into the gaps between the needles of the first layer. In this case, the glued side of the petal is facing down!

On the reverse side, it can be seen that the upper parts should clearly fit into the grooves between the lower ones.

From the remaining petals in the amount of 21 pieces, you need to collect twigs. Each branch will consist of three parts.

We glue 7 received branches symmetrically, forming a beautiful crown, similar to a Christmas tree.

Let's prepare red beads of three sizes and golden stars for decoration.

Glue 7 stars on the main tops and add even the smallest half-beads. With the largest semi-beads, we mask the places where the branches are attached, and with medium size - all the other places where the petals are joined.

The remaining 7 stars are used to mask the attachment points of the branches on the reverse side.

  • the basis for the crown can be made from a regular hair band;
  • if you want a real crown, make the base out of plastic;
  • all gaps and the distance between the kanzashi petals can be closed with a ribbon of the appropriate color scheme, lace or paper;
  • to make the crown more beautiful, it is better to combine several harmonious colors of the satin ribbon;
  • we always use small accessories, beads or beads;
  • you can make the core of the petals from beads, but you will need a fishing line or wire.

Attention! If you use natural fabrics for creativity, carefully singe their edges with a candle. Some types of fabrics may not melt, but burn. This is very dangerous for health. It is better to choose an alternative way to finish the edge of the tape.

  3. You can choose any colors of ribbons, but it is better to give preference to beige, golden or white.
  4. From a satin ribbon 50 mm wide, cut out the required number of squares.
  5. We cut out squares from a brocade ribbon, the width of which is 40 mm.
  6. We still need a satin ribbon 25 mm wide. We also cut out the required number of squares from it. We will get triple petals.
  7. Let's prepare the rim right away. Wrap it completely with brocade.
  8. Atlas in this case is better not to use, because it slides.
  9. We take one square of a wide satin ribbon and brocade.
  10. We fold the double triangles and fix them together with a glue gun.

Christmas crown mk

  1. The frame of the crown will consist of two tiers of triple sharp kanzashi petals. Three squares will be used for one petal: two white and one gold. The preliminary preparation procedure is to cut the tape to the desired size and singe the edges to eliminate protruding threads. This is especially true of gold brocade, because the threads are very strongly knocked out of it after trimming. The flame only needs to touch the edges, not lingering in one place for a long time. It is only important to eliminate protruding threads, and not to melt the fabric.

  1. Bend the square blanks diagonally. Opposite corners can also be sealed with a flame.

  1. Next, you need to turn the resulting triangles into small three-layer ones by bending them again.

  1. Assemble the three-layer construction by making the golden ribbon the inner layer. Lay the three pieces on top of each other.

  1. Collect the sharp petal. Connect the opposite ends with your fingers or tweezers. Glue or burn.

  1. All petals should be the same in shape and height. The lower part should be cut off, singeed. In total, 39 petals should be prepared for the production of two tiers of the crown.

  1. Start gluing the first layer of petals onto the hoop (it can be braided with a thin white ribbon or left unchanged). Glue the first petal in the center to correctly distribute all the rest in the future. Glue with the folded end down and the glued end up.

  1. Spend 20 blanks on the first tier. You need to place them clearly end to end, leaving no gaps.

  1. 19 petals will be used for the second tier. Glue them into the grooves between the petals of the first layer. Turn these deli back to the previous ones. It is necessary to insert the glued side into the voids, and bring the sharp bent corners out. The frame of the festive crown is ready.

  1. On the reverse side, the crown needs to be ennobled, since this part looks unfinished.

  1. For the back, prepare pieces of gold brocade. Bend them in half. Disconnect the two right triangles with a soldering iron. Both resulting quadrangles will go to the back side of the crown.

  1. Expand each resulting triangle. Glue the quads on the back on two layers of petals. Arrange the parts with sharp corners up.

  1. Each sharp corner of the golden leaf should be visible between the two petals of the top layer.

  1. Glue the rhinestones on the glued tips of the petals of the first layer. Do not decorate the two extreme details. Rhinestones can be immediately on an adhesive basis, or additionally use drops of glue for greater reliability.

A charming and elegant kanzashi crown worthy of a Snow Maiden or a princess is ready. Such an actual New Year's accessory will definitely appeal to girls. The same product will look perfect in blue or pink, interspersed with silver. It's so easy to create a fairy tale for a young fashionista. Materials for creativity

To make a kanzashi crown, as in the photo, prepare:

  • 26 square pieces of satin ribbon measuring 5 * 5 cm in champagne, cream and golden hues;
  • 15 squares of golden brocade - 4 * 4 cm;
  • empty foam insert from under the tape with a diameter of 4 cm;
  • white felt circles with a diameter of 4 cm and about 6.5 cm (in order to stick on one side of the foam and on top of the lower modules);
  • a piece of champagne-colored satin ribbon 1.2 cm (for ennobling the reel on which the parts will be glued);
  • a piece of gold brocade 0.5 cm (to glue over the lower petals);
  • 14 light mother-of-pearl half-beads (layout: 13 pieces on the bottom, 1 piece on the top);

Master class on assembling a crown using the kanzashi technique

To model the kanzashi crown on this MK with your own hands, you need to prepare 26 triple sharp petals, which will be divided into 2 rows, as well as 15 simple sharp petals only from gold brocade.

A frame will be made from sharp triple kanzashi petals. Prepare squares for cream, gold and champagne layers.

Bend all parts of the same size in half, aligning opposite corners.

Repeat the bend also on all the details to the state of four-layer squares. Each square will be a separate layer for the future sharp petal. Put them all together.

In total, for a crown using the kanzashi technique, as in the photo, you need 26 identical parts (13 pieces per layer).

The skeleton is made of cylindrical foam. An empty part from a roll of tape will do. Firstly, the item will fit in size, and secondly, the foam is very light, and therefore the finished hairpin will not slide down the hair under its own weight. Prepare one felt circle 4 cm in diameter of the cylinder, a tape for refining the side.

Glue white felt on one side of the foam cylinder, glue satin on the side.

Start attaching the triple petals to the side of the foam core with the back side.

Form the first even layer of 13 petals. The side of the cylinder covered with felt should be inside.

From smaller golden squares with a side of 4 cm, make another kind of petals. They should be sharp, but more compressed from the sides.

Prepare 15 golden pieces.

Attach small elements with a top layer in the voids, in one case make a shamrock - this will be the front side of the crown of kanzashi-style ribbons.

Take a circle of white felt 6.5 cm.

Glue to the bottom of the hair clip.

The base of the petals of the bottom layer should be made neater with a thin strip of brocade.

Glue half-beads to the kanzashi crown for the little princess: 13 pieces around the circumference at the bottom (on the brocade strip), 1 piece at the top in the center (to the shamrock).

It remains only to turn the kanzashi-style crown into a hairpin. With the help of a clip, it will be easy to attach it to the head.

Stick on top of the brocade strip.

Glue the clip to the decor from below using a felt rectangle.
