Dress knitted from heart motifs. How to crochet a dress, digest

Every fashionista wants to show off a unique outfit, needlewomen are no exception. If you knit for yourself or to order, we suggest you crochet a dress. How it will be and for whom - depends only on you.

There is a desire? Burning eyes? Are your hands ready to work? But you don't know where to start? First of all, you should decide: at what time you or your client will wear a crochet dress.

Yes, dresses crocheted from cashmere or acrylic can be comfortably worn in winter under a layer of outerwear, but you also want to demonstrate a knitted product in warm weather.

Yarn selection

For summer models, it is better to choose natural yarn.

Fine yarn is suitable, the main component of which is cotton or bamboo fiber. Additional properties will be given to the product by microfiber, acrylic, lycra or viscose present in the thread.
Models of crocheted dresses with openwork elements in the waist, neckline or along the contour of the product look very impressive.

The base of the dress is knitted with crochet number 1, 2 or 3. The openwork of the elements is achieved by using a larger hook in the work or by including elements with a large number of air loops.

If you are a beginner, you can crochet a children's summer sundress or a dress of a straight model, gathered on a drawstring or belt. Such a dress does not need to make patterns and a snug fit.

There are many models of incredibly feminine dresses that are suitable for both a gala evening and a romantic date. Crochet knitted dresses are most often light and openwork. But after all, this is logical, for the hook, most of the pattern patterns are airy and summery. The most chic is considered to be a crocheted dress using the technique of Irish lace. Only the most experienced craftswomen will undertake the creation of such a masterpiece.

What yarn to choose for a warm crochet dress?

A thicker yarn is suitable for crocheting dresses designed to be worn in the cold season. The warmest will be products knitted from yarn, which is at least 50% wool. But be careful, if the wool content of the thread is 70% or more, the product can turn out to be prickly. Choose imported yarns or merino wool to keep the wool soft.

The presence of acrylic in such a yarn makes the knitted dress soft, airy and voluminous. Even on the coldest winter evening, you will feel comfortable in it.
It is better to knit a similar product with thicker hooks, number 4 or 5.

To this day, the model of a winter dress looks quite popular, knitted like a sweater with a high cowl collar and a length to the middle of the thigh or just above the knee.

) there are those who want to connect him
Therefore, I propose to start!
Girls, I immediately lay out the whole process, because the knitting speed is different for everyone.

To get started, here is the original dress that made me feel restless, in two color options.

Looking at these dresses long and hard, I realized that they are slightly different from each other. When choosing schemes, I took something from one dress, something from another.

About yarn.
Girls who knit from pure silk or viscose, remember that this yarn in the product stretches very strongly (I didn’t knit from pure viscose myself, but I read a lot); even came across statements of such a plan: "I went out in a midi dress in the morning, in the evening I came home in a maxi" . Therefore, even if the dress is initially short and narrow, we will stretch it out when washing and drying.
Types of yarn mixed in composition (for example, cotton-viscose) or pure cotton do not have such properties.
These circumstances must be taken into account.

I knitted with Seam Exclusive Premium silk 185m/50gr. It took 400g in total.

The expansion of the hem of the dress occurs due to an increase in the number of hearts in a row.
coquette - 8 hearts
under bust, waist (2, 3 stripes on top) - 6 hearts
remaining 3 stripes - 7 hearts
top 3 strips - hook No. 2.5; bottom 3 - hook number 3.
Connect the strips in a checkerboard pattern, with the exception of 3-4 stripes, since the number of hearts increases in the 4th strip.
Initially, the patterns were made when knitting samples. In the process of knitting the dress, I changed something a little. At first I wanted to redraw the diagrams, but then I abandoned this idea (so that there were no discrepancies between the diagrams and photo samples), I simply made notes about changes in the text of the description.
hearts I knitted according to this scheme, but with my own changes.

1. Instead of air loops, we immediately make a set of double crochets (this will be the front side).

Then we knit according to the scheme to the third row.
2. Third row - without turning the work! 3 in. lifting, single crochet between 27 and 28 columns of the first row; turn the work around. side, double crochet in the last column of the previous row, 2 double crochets in the arch of the previous row; continue with the pattern. In the last arch we knit 2 dc, 1 dc into the third air loop from the base of the previous row, 1 dc again into the arch, a connecting column into a single crochet (which was knitted between 27 and 28 columns of the first row).

3. fold the heart in half, connect the slices of the heart with connecting columns from the wrong side (10 columns); we turn the heart with the right side facing us and knit 3 sl-st in double crochets on the left side of the heart, 2 sc, pico, 3 sc, pico, etc. (25 pico around the perimeter of the heart should be total).

4. I close the Pico for the front half-loop of the single crochet.

5. connect hearts 4, 5, 6, 7 pico; 4, 7 - columns with 2 crochets, 5.6 - columns with 1 crochet.
6. after the 25th picot we knit 3 sc, sl-st in the remaining columns, sl-st in the first sl-st of the row.

Band connection
We connect the strips according to the scheme

I want to draw attention to the fact that I knitted the connecting rows very weakly (so that the dress had something to stretch from)

Yoke
We knit a coquette according to this pattern

BUT THERE ARE CHANGES.
In the process of knitting, the scheme for connecting hearts in a yoke was slightly adjusted.
So, the first row of the fan: we attach the thread according to the scheme, then 2 ch, sl-st to the nearest pico of the right heart, 1 ch, then according to the 6dc scheme
In the second circular row: in the scheme, double crochets = knit stitches with 2 crochets; 2 double crochets = knit 3 double crochets.
NECESSARILY! The columns are knitted in the loops of the previous row, and not in the arches.

We tie the top of the coquette according to the scheme.

I knitted spandex in the second row.

Connecting the top two strips
The center of the coquette is a fan between the hearts.
At the coquette we knit the first two circular rows, the third - connecting with the second strip. In the same row we form the transition to the sleeves.
How I calculated the sleeves: with pins, first, from the center of the front to the sides, I cleaved the loops of the first and second strips together in accordance with the diagram. The same procedure was repeated from the center of the back to the sides. As a result, armholes formed on the sides.

Connecting stripes when expanding the hem.
We connect according to the scheme for connecting the strips, only: each fan is connected to a pico heart (do not forget to initially place the strips so that the hearts are in front of them in a checkerboard pattern).
You can use this principle:
The easiest way is to initially connect the places of future tape connections with pins or markers, evenly distributing them over the tapes.
Initially, connect the ribbons with a marker in the place where you will have a front, so that the hearts are clearly staggered. Then you connect the tapes to each other in opposite places of the tapes. This will give you the front and rear connection marks. Then we divide the distances between the front and back exactly in half and connect the tapes in these places with markers - we connected the sides. Gradually, by dividing the segments of the tapes in half, we connect the tapes with markers to each other. When knitting a connecting row, we connect the tapes in places with markers (pins)
As a result, it turns out that in front of us, the hearts are located clearly in a checkerboard pattern, and gradually evenly shift to the sides to the sides.

Sleeves. hook number 2.5
We knit fans according to the pattern of connecting stripes.
The armpit has its own characteristics. In the first row: dc2n with the pico of the nearest heart, dc2n in the column of the heart, ch 1, dc2n in the heart, dc2n in the pico of the heart. In the second row between ss2n (where there is ch) we knit a fan.

We knit five rows of fans (the fifth is connecting with the next ribbon of hearts). Each row has 14 fans. Fan: 2 patent columns, 1ch, 2 patent columns.
The first and second stripes of sleeves are connected by one row of fans; between the second and third - three rows.
On the sleeves in the upper two bands, the hearts are located one below the other, the lower one is in a checkerboard pattern.

Well, do not forget to tie frills: 2ch, pico from 3 ch, 2ch, sl-st (you can sc). Ruffles can be made more magnificent (I was just afraid that there would not be enough yarn). In which loops to fasten the strapping, we look at the photo.

I washed the finished dress with gentle MS hands, dried it horizontally. When unfolding, she carefully straightened the hearts and stretched the connecting rows. After drying, the dress "moved" to the shoulders.
The dress was not ironed.

Under the dress sewed a double stretch cover

That's like all.

Let me remind you that I invented the schemes (except for the heart) myself, so there is a possibility that they are slightly different from the original. If anyone has additions to my schemes or their own vision of patterns, share your thoughts-ideas

Girls! We post photos of our work in this album

Do not forget to sign the name of the author, the name and consumption of yarn, hook numbers

On the Internet I found options for schemes for our dress. They are very similar to mine, but maybe someone will like more.

This chic dress is crocheted and worn over a contrasting colored sheath to show off the beauty of the patterns. You can knit without difficulty except perhaps a skirt, there the pattern is simple, its rapport vertically is only 1 row. The rest of the patterns are not so easy to understand, experience and skill are required.

This means the following options:

Figure bust - 86½-96½ (99-109, 112-122, 124½-134½) cm

Bust in a knitted dress - 91½ (104, 118, 131) cm
- dress length - 84 (84½, 85, 85½) cm

Patterns: Dx2 for the main part; Dx3 for a coquette; Сх4 for individual nuances; Dx1 for sleeves.

We specify the density of knitting by performing patterns:

According to Dx3, we will knit 2 sts (loops) of rapport for 8 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

According to Dx2, we will knit 7 sts of rapport for 8 rows = 23 x 10 cm.

If we knit 22 stlb / bn (single crochet), we get 10 cm.

Dress pattern for all options

Description of how to crochet a summer women's dress from openwork patterns

Let's start knitting from above, from the gate, and we will move down, performing kgr - circular rows. All fragments of the dress are performed in the following sequence:

Collar;

Yoke;

main detail;

Skirt - all this is done continuously, one common detail.

And only the sleeves are made after the dress as a whole is connected.

Collar

We knit a chain of 156 (162, 172, 182) ch - air Fri. They turn into a circle by means of sst - a connecting column, and the first kgr is performed by one stlb / bn.

1 ch; 1 stb/bn in the first 13 pts; 2 stlb / bn we knit in the next pt;

Knit 5 times (1 st/bn in 26 sts; 2 sts/bn in the next st)

1 stb / bn in each ch until the end of the kgr; 1 cst in the 1st stb/bn = 168 stb/bn.

3 ch; 1 stb / sn - double crochet in the next 5 pt; 2 stb/sn next pt;

We perform 13 times (1 stb / dc in the next 11 pt; 2 stb / dn in the next 1 pt);

1 stb / sn in each ch until the end of the kgr; 1 slst in the 3rd ch from the beginning of kgr = 186 stlb / sn.

For 2X-Large/3X-Large:

4 ch; 1 stb / 2n - a column with 2 crochets in the next 5 ch; 2 sts / 2n we knit in the next pt;

We perform 15 times (1 stlb / 2n in the next 10 pt; 2 stlb / 2n in the next 5 pt);

1 stb / 2n in each Fri until the end of the kgr; 1 slst in the 4th ch from the beginning of kgr = 198 stlb / 2n.

The 1st round must start from the undercut of the sleeve, for which it is necessary to skip Fri in a certain amount, in accordance with the scheme Dx2. The main part will require 6 circles, then comes the skirt.

1st round skirt:

6 ch; 1 st / 2n on the same fri - this is the first V-fri;

Small V-pt is performed in the next cluster;

- * high V-pt in the next stlb/bn; small V-pt in the next cluster *; repeat *-* by kgr;

Cst in the 4th ch from the beginning of kgr = 28 (32, 36, 40) V-frit small and 28 (32, 36, 40) V-frit high.

2nd round skirt:

We knit in the 1st arch of their 2nd ch group (sst; 6 ch; 1 stb / 2n) - this is the first high V-pt;

Small V-frit is knitted into the next arch of 2 ch of the next small V-frit;

- * V-fri high in the next arch of 2 ch next high V-fri;

V-pt small in the next arch of 2 VP next small V-pt *;

Repeat *-* on kgr to the end, 1 slst in the 4th ch from the beginning of kgr.

We repeat this 2nd krgk all the time, until the skirt length is 62 cm, if measured from the 1st krgr.

Last kgr:

The dress is finished, it remains to finish the sleeves. We do it on Сх1, we start from the undercut.

In total, 12 (12, 13, 13) clusters should fit, each of which consists of three stlb / 2n and 12 (12, 13, 13) stlb / bn.

In the second kgr, we perform st in the last arch of the 6 ch of the previous row. We turn knitting, perform ch 1, and begin to knit in the same arch, moving in accordance with Dx1.
