Christmas tree craft made from coffee. How to make a Christmas tree from coffee beans with your own hands - job description

New Year is always a Christmas tree and gifts, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden. But not always the tree should be green and fluffy. Now it has become very fashionable to make Christmas trees from different materials - paper, fabric, dried flowers, feathers, sweets and even coffee. This version of the winter beauty will not only create a festive atmosphere, but also fill the room with a pleasant aroma of coffee beans. In the manufacture of such a miniature Christmas tree is not at all difficult, but it will take time to glue the grains and decorate. But at the end of the process, you will receive not only a beautiful thing to decorate the interior and create a festive atmosphere, but also a gift option for friends and relatives.

The sizes of the Christmas tree can be different, but it is better to make small coffee Christmas trees that can be placed on a table or bedside table - this way they will be more noticeable. A cardboard cone is used as the basis of the Christmas tree, you can make it yourself or use a festive head cap for this purpose, which is sold at any gift and holiday equipment store.

How to make a coffee tree

So, to make such an unusual Christmas tree, you will need: a cardboard cone, brown threads, two types of glue (transparent like "Crystal" and PVA), coffee beans, brushes, beads and bows for decoration (you can use other decor), thick cardboard for trunk, base (you can use a candlestick or a glass), clear varnish, semolina, golden spray paint.

By the same principle, Christmas trees can be made from other materials, with or without coffee beans. For example, you can wrap a cardboard cone with burlap tape and randomly glue coffee beans on top. Dried flowers can be used, which should then be coated with golden or bronze spray paint. Also, small flowers can be twisted from thin strips of paper and glued tightly to each other on the surface of a cardboard cone. You can also decorate such Christmas trees in different ways. Decor options made in one color scheme look stylish. For example, for a golden Christmas tree, you can choose a bow to decorate the base of a dark gold mesh or ribbon. You can use golden-colored nuts, cones and dried flowers.

Recently, various types of do-it-yourself crafts are gaining great popularity. A special trend is topiary, ornamental trees made from coffee or other improvised materials. Today I want to show you how to make Herringbone Coffee Topiary. It is very easy, even lighter than regular coffee topiary. And so, we get to work, or rather, to the preparation of materials.

To create a coffee Christmas tree you will need:
coffee beans can be bought in packages or by weight,
hot glue,
a cup or glass for the base of the Christmas tree,
decoration ribbon,
twine,
cardboard,
brown acrylic paint.

First we need to prepare the basis for the Christmas tree - it will be a cone. The cone can be made from cardboard. Or make from plain paper and use the papier-mâché technique to seal the cone. It all depends on you, I have a papier-mâché cone.

We paint the cone with brown paint, since the coffee beans are not perfect and do not have the same structure, the base of the cone may be slightly translucent, so we prime the surface with brown acrylic paint. We begin to glue the grains. I glued them starting from the bottom. The grains were glued flat side down. Since we will glue the coffee in two layers, we will glue the second layer with the flat side up.

And so, row after row, we get a blank-cone glued with grains.

We do not seal the top with grains, leave a place for decoration. This is the first layer of grains.

We glue the second layer on top of the previous one, we try to fill in all the empty spaces so that the base is not visible.

Now let's make a decoration for the Christmas tree. This will be the bow. I simply beautifully folded the ribbon in the shape of a bow and secured it with a special wire.

Insert decoration at the top. You can fix it with hot glue. The tree is already beautiful. You can make a base and leave it like that, but it will not be a topiary. And we will make a leg for the Christmas tree.

Now we are preparing a pot for our tree. You can take any cup with a coffee theme, or take a paper cup, you can paste over it with twine. We glue it on PVA glue, then your cup will look neat.

As a trunk for a topiary, you can use a tree branch or wooden skewers.
The weighting agent in our glass will be pebbles from the sea, or you can just fill everything with plaster, whichever is more convenient for you. Fasten the base of the trunk with hot glue

We seal our Christmas tree with paper.

Paste the cardboard with coffee.

We fix the Christmas tree on the base.

Here is our Christmas tree. It turned out to be a beauty.

Coffee beans can be attached to the pebbles.

This is what a miracle happened to me. Try it, I'm sure you can too.
Such a tree will decorate your kitchen or living room.
Enjoy your creativity!

First you need to make the base for the holiday tree. Roll up a cone of the desired size from thick paper and secure it securely with glue. If you want the structure to be more stable, then cut out the foam base for it.

Cover the base with dark paint so that the gaps between the coffee beans are not conspicuous. You can also use to braid the cone. Don't forget to fix the thread with glue, otherwise it will start to slide down and your work will look sloppy.

When everything is ready, you can start working with grains. First you should draw the top, and then gradually go down.

Christmas tree made of coffee beans is almost ready. In order to decorate it, you can use any means at hand. For example, form bows from ribbons, tie them with threads and pin them to the base. Nearby you can place large and small beads.

We insert a thick wire into the base of the cone and also wrap it with twine.

Using a gun, glue the grains. In this case, you should start with a sharp bottom edge. After that, close the entire lower part and rise up. The top should be left open.

We randomly wrap the glass jar with burlap and fix it with hot glue.

To make the tree stable, we fill the pot with diluted alabaster or any material similar to it. Close the surface or coffee beans.

We decorate the finished tree with threads, bronze pendants and dried lemon slices.

The children and I made a bright Christmas tree like in the first picture of the balls. Bought plastic balls. We made a cone out of paper to focus on this shape. We connected the balls with instant glue, you only need a drop of it and it holds well. It turned out incredible beauty. Unusual and bright. Now we are on fire with the idea of making a big Christmas tree like this, but here you can’t get by with a couple of sets of balls)

In kindergarten, there was a task to make crafts for the New Year. I do it every year and my imagination has already dried up a little. After thinking for a long time, I decided to make a three-dimensional Christmas tree. I got it 30 centimeters high. I made the base from whatman paper, used old beads to decorate Christmas trees. I also glued the entire cone with pine needles. Thin tinsel and rain braided the entire base. We made Christmas tree decorations with our daughter from colored paper and also glued them to our Christmas tree.

Progress:
Hello, dear teachers, teachers, parents and all those who visited my page. In my blog, I offer a detailed master class on creating a Christmas tree topiary. What is a topiary has long been known to everyone. And, I think, any needlewoman at least once made it. And when you make one tree, you want the second, and the third - it's addictive. So I decided to make such a Christmas tree topiary for the New Year.

I advise you to try to make this tree of happiness, even if it seems impossible to you. Everything will turn out to be very simple in the end.
You will need the following materials:
-glue gun and Moment glue
-scissors
- twine (string)
-threads
- black cardboard
-coffee beans
- sushi sticks or skewers
-a cup
-beige paper (recycled)
-newspaper
-pencil
- gypsum mixture
-wire
For decoration:
-cinnamon
- sisaplast

We print the template on A4 format. Cut out and transfer to cardboard. I have black cardboard, you can take dark brown or gouache paint in dark color. This is necessary so that the gaps between the coffee beans are not visible.

From the cardboard you need to form a cone and immediately insert the wire there. I had a thin wire, so I folded it 4 times. Adjust the length yourself, the one you like.

Now, starting from the bottom of the cone, glue it with coffee beans, leaving a little space at the top. Try to glue neatly and close to each other.

We wrap the crown in a circle with twine or twine, applying a sufficient amount of glue. Smoothly we pass to a wire. The transition must be careful.

Usually, a Christmas tree should have a star-shaped decoration on top. Since we have an unusual Christmas tree, we will make a ball at the tip. It is based on an ordinary newspaper. Tear off half of the sheet.

Give it a round shape.

We wrap tightly with threads.

Glue with coffee beans with the flat side inward.

Using glue "gun" glue the finished coffee ball onto the tip of the wire. You can bend the wire in any direction.

And now we will make a trunk for our tree. On black cardboard we draw a circle equal to the width of the cone

Cut out

We take chopsticks for sushi and pierce the circle with them. Pour glue into the hole. Now your sticks will not fall, and will hold on tight.

We need to tamp the newspaper into the cone. This will give strength to our future tree.

Now we need to make a pot in which the miracle tree will stand. We take a broken cup, which is no longer useful for its intended purpose.

And glue it with recycled beige paper

Pour the gypsum mixture into the resulting pot and connect all the components together. Decorate with cinnamon and sisaplast. Here it is - the New Year's miracle.

This Christmas tree will serve as a wonderful interior decoration and fill your home with aromas of coffee and cinnamon.
